Chapter seven: more of Ratchet's reports
Here we pick up with Ratchet in bay six with both his twin sons that were waiting to see him. Oh and I want to keep the time line correct July 18,2009 the same day the new arrivals came. Ratchet gets to all of them in one day. Now, I saw that nearly two hundred people had read chapter six and or the whole story yesterday, that's awesome! I enjoy writing and hearing from y'all. Please leave a review if you like, I love you all and it makes me happy to see that so many people love my story. Once I get all the new arrivals seen by Ratchet we will move the story on. I wrecked my brain with how I was going to write their visit with Ratchet for a couple of weeks. Do I write about it with with detailed information or just a few sentences. Well, I decided that their visit with Ratchet is important so, I wreckn it will take several chapters to get it done. This is where reviews, hints of ideas come in handy y'all.! I put into the story my best because I have loved transformers since it's inception back in 1983 when it came on Monday thru Friday at 3:30PM CST
Alright! Autobots roll out!
Ratchet had just left bay six after seeing he's sons for the first time in over a few thousand years. Both the boys were sitting on the bunk when he walked in. My how the time has past he thought to himself. More than he wished it did. They both were sitting on the bunk when Ratchet walked in. Ratchet stopped and looked at them before he reached into the cabinet to get supplies and said, "okay, who wants to go first?" Bounce got off the bunk and then Beamer laid down on the bunk then Ratchet began scanning Beamer and found several scared injuries all over his body. Beamer laid quite as his father was using his scanner but, when he father was done he told him, "Yes, I have a lot of injuries and many of them went untreated. I had followed my dreams and became a mobile medic and worked closely with Red Alert. But, I'll never be as good as you." Ratchet stood there looking at Beamer with a half smile and he told Beamer, "no amount of training could make you the best medic during a war where killing others who don't agree with you happens." Beamer nodded back at him as he watched his father who was reading the monitor the results of the scan. Ratchet then opened the drawer underneath the monitor and pull out a syringe, alcohol wipes, one vile and four stickers to attach to his chest to monitor his spark rate. Ratchet placed the stickers upon Beamer's chest and connected the lines to the box reader that is connected to the monitor. After that Ratchet took a fluid sampler then placed it in the machine. Then Ratchet told the boys he be back. Ratchet left the bay and went into his operating room and got the gurney from there and rolled it back to bay six.

Bounce was sitting back in the chair by the bunk and was talking to Beamer when Ratchet came in the room with the extra bunk and monitor. With out being told, Bounce got up from the chair and walked over to the bunk and after Ratchet had locked the wheels and he laid down on it. Ratchet went back over to Beamer and looked at the monitor to see the results of the fluid sample.
It showed that Beamer was low on energon, chemical 7 which means he is low on vitaican. In human terms, low on zinc and Iron. He has high white cell count which means he has an infection somewhere in his body. Ratchet turned around and asked Beamer was he in any pain and where and Beamer said his jaw has been hurting him a long time. Ratchet then told Beamer to lay down flat on the bunk and open his mouth wide. Ratchet took his light and his small metal mirror and looked around in Beamer's mouth. Ratchet found five of his metal teeth deteriorate. Two upper teeth located on the back right side of his mouth, one of his front teeth and two lower teeth located on his left side. Ratchet knew he need to get those teeth removed today. Ratchet got up out of the chair and went to the cabinet and got all the meds and one half gallon bag of energon then came back to the table and set the stuff down. He gave Beamer a shot of .25 anonits of hydrcon for the pain in his mouth and also gave two doses of giaticon to start killing off the infection. Then .05 anonits of sleep aid. Then he started the IV drip of energon then Ratchet told Beamer, "Alright I just gave you something for the pain, an a strong dose antibiotics and very low dose of sleep aid and I'm keeping you here for the next24 hours. Later, I have to remove those teeth and I'll keep you here over night to monitor your pain from the teeth extraction."
Beamer just cringed but, he knew for a long while that something was wrong. Red Alert was not able to do anything other than give him some pain relief and a couple times a dose of giaticon. He was limited with Medications and was not a qualified surgeon but, Red Alert did preform surgery and the best he could on some of those seriously wounded. Ratchet got done with Beamer he then went to talk with Bounce. Ratchet took his hand held scanner and started to scan him. All that he found was his left wrist was fused and that explains why he is not using that hand. "What happened to your hand?" Ratchet asked
Bounce. "I got into a bad scrape with the junkions. Short story, they sold me a part that did not work." Ratchet told him he would have to set up a time this week maybe to fix it. Ratchet set him up so he can monitor his spark rate. Ratchet took the syringe and drew a fluid sample then he put it in the analyzer machine.
The results came back normal on him. His got some serious battle scars but they are not hampering him from functionality except of course his left hand. Ratchet turned around only to see that Beamer has drifted off into sleep stasis. Before he left Bounce's side he told him, "I'm so overwhelmed with relief that you two and your mother made it here alive. They embraced with a hug then Bounce said, "love you father." then Ratchet said back to him, "I love you too my son and your mom is okay I was just in there with her before I came in here." Bounce laid back down to rest. Ratchet went back over to Beamer who was still asleep and he patted him gently on the shoulder and told him, "I love you. Then he started to leave but, he turned around and he told Bounce, "I'll be by later on and you need to surf the web and find an earth vehicle you like and download the specs for it. It will be your mode of travel on the island besides walking. and please let your brother know later if he wakes up before I come back." then Ratchet left out and headed to his office to in put all the data results on the boys and set up surgery for Beamer later this evening around 4PM. Bounce will need surgery at some point but not today.
Ratchet was heading down the hallway trying to get by the others then he stopped and just stood there with one hand on his hip and the other one with a wrench in it! Ole hatchet just said, "I need the hallway cleared; I will let you know when you can visit those assigned to their bay rooms." Everyone cleared at once. Prowl how ever stood his ground right there by the door to Ratchet's office. "Prowl do you have something to tell me or someone else?" Prowl replied, "Yes, I and Col. Lennox spoke with the General and he was over the top pleased with the extensiveness of the program that gave them everything about each of those bots that arrived today. Now, I need to speak with Optimus." Prowl turned around and headed to bay five where Optimus is visiting with his son.
Ratchet hesitated a few minutes to let Prowl talk with Optimus. He instead went back to his office to check on the files Red Alert was sending earlier after he got repairs done to Tel-tran. He knew Optimus would be immensely relieved to learn the software program worked just like he had hoped. Well, all of bots and the humans here on base were all hoping it would work.
In bay five 11AM
Prowl is talking, "He was really amazed. He told us that when they started the program up around 2AM in the morning. It was very explainable and he was able to not only detect what Cybertronian species they were but, some interesting information about their life before the war. I don't think he believed us more than he does today." Optimus said back to Prowl, "We really can't blame him but, I'm glad we added tidbits of our life before the war start. It's going to give him and the other humans an idea that we too had a life similar to them before the war." then Prowl left the room.
Rammer was sitting on the bunk before Prowl came in the room. He and his father were talking about what happened to his right arm. Optimus had told his son, "I'm sorry for the loss of your youngling hood friend you both were always in to sports and where really good ball players." Rammer's optics went wide with joy that his father remembers. He's father, Optimus was so busy trying to get his close as brothers, friend Megatron to understand he can't force the city council to except changes they want. It was towards the end of the 'golden years'.
Okay I went off track but that bit will be brought back later in the story.
Rammer then said, "I'm glad you remember father." Optimus then said to Rammer, "I went to a few games!" They both chuckled.
Ratchet walks into bay five and sees Optimus sitting in the chair next to Rammer. Optimus got up and patted Rammer on his left shoulder and then told him that he would see him later. Optimus then left and went back to bay three to see how his sweetspark was feeling.
Ratchet was now using his portable scanner scanning over Rammer body. Ratchet immediately fines severe damage to Rammer's whole right arm. It was like the others fused aka locked in one position to avoid further injuries from the incident. Ratchet asked Rammer was his intake valve on his right wrist still works and Rammer said, "yes, once in awhile Red Alert was able to give me some pain meds like he did also for the others. Ratchet was typing some information on the pad when he asked Rammer how did this happened. "I was helping the others pack the Ark with every conceivable thing we might need not knowing where we would ever wind up at. Like Energon blocks that were stack on pallets, medical equipment, sealed medication stored in metal cases, any private things, weapons and weapon storage cases and any and all we could pack into the Ark. Well, I was last to reach the Ark before it took off. I was suppose to have the locking arms deactivated. But, before I could we my friend Gavin and I got into a bad battled with Shockwave's minion's that's where my right arm got smashed badly. We were able to damage them with gunfire and escape but, Gavin didn't get back to the ship in time despite my pleads to wait a little more, he never came. We took off." Rammer said those last few words with deep sadness. Ratchet understood, he had saw his two sisters, his brother and many of his long time friends get killed because of this war. Ratchet opened the drawer up and got a syringe out, four stickers and lead wires to connect him up to the spark monitor and to take a fluid sample. A few minutes later the fluid work showed he was in good health except he was very dehydrated so Ratchet set up his IV drip to start with one gallon bag of energon and sat the drip speed to medium. Then Ratchet said to Rammer. "you need to surf the web and find you an earth vehicle you like and then download the specs on it." Rammer said he will.
Ratchet left out of bay five and the hall was clear so he walked down to his office to enter in his notes on Rammer then a few minutes later he went to check on Elita one who was watching tv in her room bay three. He check her vitals again and she was cleared to leave but, she waited in the waiting room to see if Moony was going to be released. A few minutes later Moony was released and Elita told Optimus that she was going to stay with Moony until Ratchet comes back later this evening. So, she helped take her back to Ratchet's quarters. Which was at the other end of this hanger. Moony has a cane but, the new arrivals are dealing with gravity sickness. Which means having a hard time walking, sitting up or moving around. But, by morning that will be over with. Ratchet took about thirty minutes to set bay three and two back up for the next two bots. Bluestreaker in bay two and Proceptor in bay three. Then off to bay six to check up on his two sons.
I created a monster y'all ! damn. Ugh! The time frame of Ratchet's visit with the new arrivals was just in one day. Just the dang detailed information I want to write about. Well, I already started it now. Okay in the next chapter, chapter 8 it continues where I left off with Ratchet going back to bay six then on to see Arcee in bay room seven then Chromia in bay room four who was spending time with Ironhide in her room and Staylie was in there too with her mother and father instead of being in bay room one. okay leave me a review please
