The Delinquent The Quiet Girl
Episode 15 – A Night to Remember

The Walk Home
The school dance had ended, but neither Naruto nor Miku felt like going home just yet.
The two walked side by side through the quiet streets of Tokyo, the streetlights casting a soft glow around them.
Naruto had his hands in his pockets, his jacket slung over his shoulder. Miku walked beside him, still holding onto the warmth of his hand from earlier.
There was a comfortable silence between them.
Then—
Miku: "…Did you have fun?"
Naruto glanced at her, his usual cocky smirk appearing.
Naruto: "Tch. I guess it wasn't that bad."
Miku giggled softly.
Miku: "That's the nicest thing I've heard you say about school."
Naruto rolled his eyes.
Naruto: "Yeah, yeah. Don't get used to it."
Miku smiled.
She was happy.
She never thought she'd ever enjoy something like the school dance. But with Naruto…
It had been perfect.
Then—
Miku: "…Naruto?"
Naruto looked at her.
Miku hesitated for a moment, then took a deep breath.
Miku: "Can we… take the long way home?"
Naruto raised an eyebrow.
Naruto: "You don't wanna go home yet, huh?"
Miku shyly nodded.
Naruto sighed dramatically.
Naruto: "Tch. Fine. But if we get lost, I'm blaming you."
Miku giggled again.
And so, they kept walking—this time, hand in hand.

Under the Streetlights
They reached a small park, where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
The night air was cool, but standing beside Naruto, Miku felt warm.
She looked up at him.
The streetlight highlighted his features—his messy blonde hair, his sharp blue eyes, and that usual mischievous smirk.
She felt her heart race.
He was so handsome.
Naruto caught her staring.
Naruto: "…What?"
Miku's face turned red, and she quickly looked away.
Miku: "N-Nothing!"
Naruto snickered.
Naruto: "Hah? Were you checking me out just now?"
Miku: "N-No!!"
Naruto grinned, clearly enjoying her embarrassment.
Naruto: "Relax, I know I'm hot."
Miku pouted and lightly punched his arm.
But Naruto caught her wrist—gently.
Her eyes widened as he pulled her closer, his expression turning serious.
For a moment, they just stared at each other.
Then—
Naruto: "…I had fun tonight."
Miku's breath hitched.
That was the most honest thing he had ever said.
Slowly, she smiled.
Miku: "Me too."
Naruto exhaled, looking away.
Then, without thinking—
He gently placed a hand on her head, ruffling her soft brown hair.
Miku's face turned bright red, but she didn't move away.
Instead—
She leaned into his touch.
Naruto's heart pounded.
Damn it.
She was too cute.

The Goodnight Moment
After a while, they finally reached Miku's house.
She turned to him, hesitating.
She didn't want this night to end.
Neither did he.
Miku: "…Thank you, Naruto."
Naruto smirked.
Naruto: "For what?"
Miku: "…For everything."
Naruto felt his face heat up.
Naruto: "Tch. You're so damn sappy."
Miku giggled softly.
Then—gathering all her courage—
She stood on her tiptoes and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek.
Naruto froze.
Miku quickly pulled away, her face completely red.
Miku: "G-Goodnight!!"
She rushed inside, leaving Naruto standing there—stunned.
He reached up, touching the spot where she kissed him.
His heartbeat was out of control.
Then—
A small smirk formed on his lips.
Naruto (muttering): "…Damn. She got me."
As he turned to leave, hands in his pockets, he couldn't stop smiling.
Tonight had been perfect.
And he knew…
This was only the beginning.
