It was shortly after Emily learned her dorm mates Jasmine and Mindy were lesbians like her but at the moment she was tossing and turning in her bed.
Dream...
A younger Emily was dueling Jaden as they both were smiling.
Emily ? Turn:
"I set this and that's it Jaden." she smiled.
Jaden ? Turn:
"Okay, Ems my turn!" Jaden called drawing before grinning seeing what he drawn, "Alright!"
Emily smiled at that.
"Okay, I'll sacrifice these two guys, and summon Yubel!" Jaden grinned placing his monsters in the graveyard before placing a special kind of monster card on as a ghostly aspiration of the monster he just summoned appeared behind him.
"Yubel, but she only works if I attack." Emily mentioned.
"Maybe but it's good to finally summon her without anything stopping her before that." Jaden grinned to his sister at this, "And now she's gonna stick with me finally."
"Maybe." Emily smiled. "My turn?"
"Yeah." Jaden smiled to her.
Emily drew her card and grinned. "Shining Angel attack Yubel!"
"Huh? But why?" Jaden asked surprised at this.
"Because when Yubel uses her ability I can play Divine Wrath to discard the card I drew and destroy her." Emily answered. "Then I…"
Suddenly her eyes widened and she started screaming in pain.
Shocked at this Jaden cried, "Emily!?" She collapsed on the floor as he got off his seat running to her, "Emily what's wrong!?"
She was screaming in pain as she saw a figure behind Jaden glaring at her hatefully
A few hours later the Yuki family were at the hospital where Emily was in a hospital bed.
"She'll recover Mr, and Mrs. Yuki, though. She was weakened a but almost down to the verge of death but she'll be alright." a doctor told them.
"Jaden, are you sure you don't know what happened?" Mrs. Yuki asked her son at this.
Jaden shook his head with tears, "No. We were just playing, and she started screaming all of a sudden." He held her hand while she laid unconscious in bed.
"Oh Jaden..." Mr. Yuki frowned at that.
End Dream...
Emily shot up screaming and shaking badly in fear.
She hears some footsteps running before Alexis barged in with Jasmine, and Mindy with her, "Emily!? What happened!?" Seeing she woke up sweaty Alexis looked a little relieved asking, "Oh, did you have a nightmare?"
She was trembling badly but just nodded in fear. They walked to her where Jasmine, and Mindy were on her sides before Jasmine asked her, "Do you want to talk about it?"
"It can help you feel better." Mindy added.
Trembling she slowly nodded before fearfully explaining it but they noticed she was physically trembling and unable to name the card Jaden used before she was attacked.
"I... I was unconscious for over a week." she finished before shaking badly again as she looked down before trembling.
"Oh poor girl." Jasmine frowned at this.
"We're sorry." Mindy said to her softly.
She was shaking before hugging them with tears. The three girls stood with her before Alexis sat on the bed before asking, "Did you tell Jaden about it?"
Emily's eyes shot open. "No! No, I can never tell him... if Jaden was reminded of that day it would devastate him. He knows I changed, but... he doesn't know why."
She took a slow breath at that.
"Besides... he was happy when we both started playing the same cards, he called it our twin decks."
"So... that card was the reason why your hesitant?" Jasmine asked her.
They could feel her heart speed up at that answering her question. Mindy at this give some thought before looking at Jasmine who nodded before they said to Emily, "Tomorrow we're gonna help you get over it."
Emily's eyes shot open and she started trembling. "No... you can't!"
She quickly sat up only to blush. "Can... you grab my blazer Alexis? I just want to head to class."
"It's Saturday right now." Alexis informed her.
She looked uncertain before trying quickly to change the topic. "Oh... where's your brother Alexis? You mentioned him on the first day but I haven't met him yet."
Alexis at this looked down before telling her, "Tonight. I'll tell you about him tonight."
"Ok." she nodded before tearing up again. "Thank you for... for being with me you guys."
"Well still... me, and Jazz are gonna help you get over that card." Mindy said softly to her.
"And we think we have a plan. Trust us we use to be in the same boat." Jasmine smiled before kissing Emily's lips, "You just be careful out there girlfriend. You, and Lex are gonna head into unholy territory."
With that said the three girls left the room leaving Emily alone. She shuddered slightly at that before looking out her window.
Meanwhile...
Students were all talking about how that new student somehow beat Zane and how he had to have been going easy on her or it was a dumb fluke with the occasional accusation of cheating thrown in for good measure. Jaden was still a bit in shock from Emily just running out so suddenly on him.
"Jaden?" Syrus asked hesitantly. "Are you ok?"
"Just... a bit in shock Sy. Emily never runs off like that." Jaden admitted to his best friend.
"Maybe she wanted a grilled cheese." Chumley suggested. "I mean, I don't like running but if I knew there was one waiting I'd run to get it."
"Chum, I know for a fact that food is the least of her worries." Jaden said to his senior roommate, "When it comes to chowing down she's more... let's say normal."
"Grilled cheese is normal." Chumley argued.
"Ah there you are my students, what are you doing on this beautiful Saturday?" asked a male voice from behind them.
They looked over seeing a brown haired professor holding a large tubby brown furred cat was there before Jaden admitted to him, "We were just talking bout my sis, Professor Banner. It wasn't like her to run off like that."
"Perhaps she was overwhelmed by the duel?" Professor Banner suggested. "She was dueling the top student and in front of the entire school, that may have been too much for her."
"I don't know. I know my sis, she may get a little overwhelmed but not enough to run off." Jaden admitted to him looking up at the sky.
"Why don't you try talking to her?" Chumley suggested to him, "We don't have a school day so it should be alright to head to the Girl Blue Dorm without getting into trouble."
"Unless you have permission from Ms. Fontaine about that." Banner mentioned before saying, "But I'll call her, and tell her your on the way."
Jaden hearing that smiled, "Sweet thanks Professor! She kinda needs my company at this point."
"Of course." Banner nodded in understanding.
"Come on guys, let's see how she's doing." Jaden told Syrus, and Chumley as they nodded walking with Jaden.
Soon they arrived where Jaden pressed a button while a camera turned seeing the three before the gate opened allowing them to walk in looking around.
"Whoa." Chumley whispered. "I knew it was better than our dorm but this is something else."
"Well, I had a close view of it thanks to that letter." Syrus sorta grumbled.
"Do you guys see Ems anywhere?" Jaden asked the two looking around but not finding her among the crowd of girls.
"No." Syrus admitted. "Maybe Ms. Fontaine knows where she is?"
"Hey!" looking over they see Mindy, and Jasmine walking over where Jasmine glared, "Well this stringbean came back with Emily's brother? Are you two looking for a repeat, or do you actually have permission to be in here?"
"We have permission, I'm looking for my sister." Jaden told her. "Is she here?"
"She's hold up in her room." Mindy explained to Jaden, "Right there." She points to a door above as the boys looked up seeing it.
"Thank ya." Jaden nodded as the boys walked up the stairs, and headed to the door before he knocked, "Ems? You there?"
He heard a small gasp.
"Go away."
"Ems, come on I wanted to see how ya doing." Jaden tells her.
There was no answer which told him she wasn't doing well at all.
"She had a nightmare." the boys turned to see Alexis walking over who told them, "She had a personal nightmare last night, and me with Jasmine, and Mindy had to be with her."
"What kind of nightmare?" Jaden asked her.
Alexis shook her head, "It's not for me to tell you Jaden. Now why are you here?"
"We came to check up on her. It wasn't like her to run off like that." Jaden explained.
Alexis' eyes softened a bit before saying, "Wait here." She slowly entered Emily's room after getting permission, and walked over rubbing Emily's back, "Emily?"
She looked at Alexis at that.
"Should we tell Jaden what happened between... you, and Core?" Alexis asked her.
"Not today... I can't today Alexis." she whispered sadly.
Alexis softly kiss her forehead before asking, "Do you want me to bring Jasmine, and Mindy in here?"
Blushing slightly she nodded at that. "Thank you."
Alexis nodded walking before exiting the room before telling the boys, "She doesn't want to talk about why right now."
"What?" Jaden asked shocked at this.
"I'm sorry Jaden, but I'm gonna have to ask you to leave. Emily doesn't feel like talking today." Alexis said apologetically before walking off.
Jaden stared before grunting before saying to Emily through her door, "Well Ems... be sure you come find me when your ready. I'm still your brother so your my responsibility." With that he walked off with Syrus, and Chumley behind him.
"Jaden..." Syrus trailed off at that before just looking down uncertainly.
After a minute Alexis walked with Jasmine, and Mindy before she allows them in where Jasmine, and Mindy walked over to Emily as the former of the girls asked, "Girlfriend?"
"I just... don't want to be alone." she said softly.
They helped Emily sit up softly who's only wearing a bra, and underwear before Mindy told her, "Well you won't be Ems. You have me, and Jazz."
Tearing up she hugged Mindy at that. Mindy softly hugs her back at this while Jasmine rubs her back. She smiled softly.
"So girlfriend... What do you want to do?" Jasmine asked her softly.
Emily blushed at that. "Stay with me?"
They both nodded with smiles kissing her cheeks.
Later that night...
Both Emily, and Alexis were walking together with Emily in her Blazer before she sees a rundown abandoned building.
"Huh, what's that?" Emily asked seeing it.
"The Abandoned Dorm..." Alexis pulled out a rose which Emily notices as Alexis sets it in front of the gate before turning to Emily looking really sad, "My brother... he disappeared in this dorm."
Emily's eyes widened before she hugged her. "I had no idea."
Alexis softly hugged her back at this closing her eyes.
"Can I do anything?" she asked softly.
Alexis shrugged as they pulled back, "I don't know... I been trying to find out but so far nothing... But I hope she's alright wherever he is..."
"I'm sure you'll find him one day." Emily whispered.
Alexis softly smiled before pausing, "Do you hear something?"
Blinking Emily closed her eyes. "Yeah, what is that?"
They see Jaden, Syrus, and Chumley got through the forest. Emily's eyes widened. "What's going on, why are they here?"
"Lex, Ems!" Jaden called seeing this, "You two came to check out the Abandoned Dorm too?"
"You're not allowed to be here, the abandoned dorm is forbidden." Alexis told him.
"Then why are you two here?" Jaden asked her.
"Stop interrogating her Jaden." Emily frowned. "It's rude."
"I am just asking why." Jaden told his sister.
"Well, we were..." Emily started. "Did you hear something?"
Hearing that they listened before Jaden said, "Come on guys." He started to walk into the Dorm.
Emily looked uncertain. "I don't like this Alexis... I think I'm going to head back to the dorm."
"Me too." Alexis agreed as Jaden, Syrus, and Chumley entered the dorm, "But we shouldn't-" She paused when she, and Emily sensed someone is behind them.
They turned to see a figure in the shadows as they both screamed. Jaden, and the others looked around in the dorm before Jaden sees a picture of a young boy that seemed a little like Alexis.
"Huh, who's this?" he asked curiously.
They suddenly hear a scream.
"What was that?" Chumley asked nervously.
"I don't know, but maybe we should leave." Syrus suggested fearfully.
Opposing to this Jaden ran off where it came from.
"Jaden!" Syrus cried running after him.
They arrived in a large room where they see Emily, and Alexis unconscious in a tomb together.
"Ems, Alexis!" Jaden cried seeing them.
A manic laughter was heard before what rose was a dark suited man wearing a large top hat with a robotic gauntlet built in his arm, and torso. Chumley and Syrus screamed in terror seeing him. He lift his head showing he's wearing a dark mask, "Will you take in my Games of Darkness?"
"Let Emily and Alexis go!" Jaden snapped.
"Here in the Shadows, they desire for souls. And the only way to get a Soul is by dueling for it." the man smirked to Jaden.
"If you want a duel you've got one." Jaden told him activating his Duel Disk.
The gauntlet on the man's duel expanded as Syrus called to Jaden, "Jaden be careful!"
"Don't worry Sy, I'll be fine." Jaden grinned.
With that the two readied themselves.

"Power often comes with a price." Titan noted.
Jaden 1st Turn:
"Regardless, I will save my sis, and Alexis from ya no matter what happens!" Jaden drew looking at his hand.
"Jaden..." Syrus whispered hearing that.
"You should be worried about yourself." Titan told him taking out a glowing golden object. "You see this is no ordinary duel, this is a Shadow Game and once you lose you'll lose your soul as well."
"Shadow Game?" Jaden asked hearing that.
"That's correct, and it's too late for you to back out now." Titan smirked.
"I'm not afraid of some shadow field match!" Jaden argued before calling, "And to prove that, I'll be summoning Elemental HERO Sparkman in Attack Mode!"
With a jump his LIGHT HERO rose up readying.

Sparkman fired as a bolt of lightning charged at Shadowknight only for it to stop a foot away which takes Jaden, Chumley, and Syrus by surprise as Jaden asked, "What happened?"
"My Shadowknight Archfiend has a special ability." Titan explained as six glowing flames emerged from a pool of lava and flew next to him revealing balls numbered one through six. "Whenever you target my monster with a card I randomly choose a number from one through six and if I happen to choose a three well... your card is negated and destroyed."
At that the ball numbered one lit on fire as the flame moved from each ball before ultimately stopping on the three.
Jaden grunted as the beam bounced back hitting Spark Blaster destroying it, "Well so much for that..." Taking two cards he said, "In that case, I throw a couple of face-downs to end my turn!"

"Which means as I said earlier your Archfiend forces you to give up Life Points during your Standby Phase!" Jaden added at that only to see nothing is happening which surprises him, "Hey, what's happening?"
"True, under normal circumstances I do have to pay life points for my Archfiends." Titan confirmed with a smirk. "However thanks to my Pandemonium card that isn't the case, with it in play I'm not required to pay a single life point."
Jaden grunted, 'Well that definitely adds trouble...' He turned to his unconscious sister, and Alexis, 'Don't worry you two, no matter what happens, I will rescue you two.'
"You shouldn't make promises you can't keep." Titan told him. "I summon my Terrorking Archfiend in attack mode."

The Knight charged in at this slashing down Sparkman as Jaden moved his arm protecting himself. (Jaden: 3800/Hand: 2) Noticing he took less damage Jaden looked confused at his Duel Disk.
"Any damage my Shadowknight Archfiend deals is cut in half." Titan told him. "Of course that won't apply when my Terrorking Archfiend attacks you directly."
Terrorking charged only for Jaden to cry, "Not so fast, I use HERO Signal!"
The trap popped sporting a H at the sky which made Terrorking stop. At Titan's confused look Jaden explained, "When my monster is destroyed cause of a fight, I can summon another Elemental HERO from my Deck! So now, I'll be busting out Clayman defense mode!"
A rock body warrior rose up in defense.

"I don't think we want to know Chumley." Syrus admitted fearfully.
"This is the price for playing a Shadow Game, as our life points dwindle so too will the Shadows envelop our bodies and souls." Titan told them. "Only the winner will emerge unscathed."
"Well they may ate away at me but they won't touch my sister, and Alexis." Jaden said before saying, "That's my turn."

"If he gets it Jaden will lose!" Syrus cried concerned.
"So he has to miss." Chumley said at this.
"Unlike my Shadowknight Archfiend who required me to get a five, my Skull Archfiend of Lightning will negate your trap if I get a one, a three, or a six." Titan smirked.
"So the odds are at 3-6." Jaden grunted before declaring, "I always duel with my heart, and I know that I will make it! So go ahead, and do your thing, I will head on!"
Titan smirked as the one caught fire and the flame moved along the balls before ultimately stopping on the four.
"What?"
"He missed!" Syrus cheered at this.
"Looks like Draining Shield's effect continues." Jaden grinned as the attack contacted the shield allowing Jaden to heal. (Jaden: 5300/Hand: 0)

Titan watched calmly.
"Next, I bust out Polymerization again, and fuse Clayman, and Bubbleman!"
The two rose up fusing.
"HERO with the Rock Hard body! Join together with the waters of the bubble justiciar, and be shaped into a new HERO! Fusion Summon! Come on, Level 6! Elemental HERO Mudballman!"
What rose was a large warrior that has Bubbleman's face kneeling down.

Terrorking charged in only for a barrier to be struck instead of Jaden who only grinned.
"What?" Titan questioned.
"Sorry but when Winged Kuriboh's destroyed for the rest of this turn, I take 0 battle damage." Jaden grinned before sigh, "But yeah my sis is better then me in terms of defense, I'm more on offense!"
"Fine, I'll finish you on my next turn." Titan told him setting a card.

"Wait, does that mean..." Syrus started recalling the entrance exams.

What emerged was the upgraded form of Flame Wingman raising up.

Titan's eyes widened in shock seeing that.
"Quite a sight to look at isn't he? Well he has an ability you won't forget anytime soon! For every Elemental HERO chilling at the graveyard he gains 300 attack points!" Jaden called before announcing, "Go HERO Roll-Call!"
Bubbleman, and Clayman both entered Shining Flare Wingman's body.
Shining Flare Wingman: (ATK: 2500 + (300 * 2) = 3100)
"It's more powerful than either of my monsters!" Titan cried in shock.
"Alright Shining Flare Wingman! Go get Archfiend Emperor, the Lord of Horror!"
Shining Flare Wingman jumped up charging a large light orb firing it down striking Titan's strongest monster.
Titan cried out as his monster shattered.

"One lucky attack won't change anything, I'll end this duel on my next turn." Titan told him.
"Sorry but that won't happen. Cause when Shining Flare Wingman wins a fight, the monster it destroyed has it's attack points dealt to you!"
"What?" Titan asked shocked.
"So now Shining Flare Wingman light up his world!"
Shining Flare Wingman land in front of Titan before releasing a large bright light as it was enough to awake both Alexis, and Emily from the coffin.
"Huh, what?" Emily asked as she and Alexis saw Titan cry out.

With that done Pandemonium vanished around them while Titan collapsed before Emily sees Jaden knelling with his body restored.
"Hey, are you alright?" Alexis asked as she and Emily ran over to him.
"Yeah... I should be asking the same to you both." Jaden admitted to them.
"Come on, let's get out of here." Chumley mentioned.
They all exited the dorm leaving Titan's unconscious body in the Dorm leaving for some shadows of people to find him.
Later...
"So you two were taken by him so that he can get to Jaden?" Syrus asked Emily, and Alexis once they had a chance to breath in Emily's room after Alexis asked for permission.
"Apparently, the only question is why?" Alexis frowned.
"Well I don't care much about details. What's important is that both you, and Ems are alright. Gotta admit, he was trouble dueling wise, and like I said I'm much better on offense, it's defense that's Emily's strength." Jaden told them before asking Emily, "Just be more careful k, Emily? I care too much to lose you."
"I know Jaden." she smiled hugging him. "You guys should head back, it's getting late."
They nodded before exiting the room as Jasmine, and Mindy entered before Jasmine explained, "You guys talking, and hearing you coming in woke us up. Did something happened at the dorm?"
"A bit." Alexis admitted, "Me, and Emily got kidnapped to try to get Jaden."
"Kidnapped?" Mindy asked in shock, "Oh I'm so sorry."
"Thanks." Emily whispered before pausing. "Alexis, do you want me to stay with you tonight?"
"Huh?" that surprised the three girls as Alexis surprised asked, "Whoa... that's surprising, why do you ask?"
Emily blinked before her eyes widened. "Oh... no not that! I just thought, after everything that happened and, what you told me. You might not want to be alone tonight."
"Oh." Alexis said hearing that before nodding, "Well alright, I could have someone be with me tonight for me to get over what happened to us, and my brother."
Emily nodded at that.
Ulrich362: Well, Jaden managed to save Alexis and Emily.
bopdog111: Though something is happening with Titan but we will get to that later.
Ulrich362: True, though with that said the five of them broke quite a few rules. What will happen now?
