"Is it time for you to leave for university?" Fanny asked.
"I'll be leaving in the morning," Edmund said. "But don't worry, it won't be much different from when I was at Eton."
"I look forward to your return home," Fanny said.
"Come, Fanny, we still have some daylight, and you're feeling much more confident on your pony, why don't we go for a short ride?"
"That would please me very much, Edmund, if you don't mind."
"Of course not!" Edmund insisted.
They went out to the stable for their horses, riding around the park until it was almost dark.
