Final flashback, Doctor Lopez
The scene begins at the Pokémon center, everyone was eating breakfast.
"So, the next gym uses ice types?" Lynn asked."
"Yup, we just have to pass Morty's town," Luke replied."
"Then let's get going," Lincoln said."
As everyone was on their bikes and all set to go. they start riding off.
"Hey Lincoln, what did you guys do on your last month for your families community service?" Adelaide asked."
"Yeah, what?" Lena asked."
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you about it," Lincoln replied." Well, it started after our introduction."
Flashback to the casagrandes apartment in Ronnie Anne's room.
Her laptop starts beeping, so she answers it showing Lincolns face making Togepi smile.
"Hey Ronnie Anne," Lincoln said."
"Hey Link," Ronnie Anne said."
"Dada," Togepi said."
"Hey Togepi," Lincoln said." So, how's great lake city?"
"It's going great, and Bobby's bird Pokémon have been tormenting Sergio ever since Bobby told them about how Sergio treats him," Ronnie Anne replied."
The scene shows Bobbies bird Pokémon messing with Sergio.
"Come on fellows, I get it, I'll stop messing with Bobby I promise," Sergio pleaded."
"That's understandable," Lincoln said."
"Oh, by the way, I got someone for you to meet, hold on," Ronnie Anne said."
She leaves for a second. she returns with Sid and her family as they gather in the living room.
"Lincoln this is my friend Sid Chang," Ronnie Anne said."
"Hi, Ronnie Anne told me about you and your adventures in Kanto," Sid said." Oh, and this is my family, my little sister Adelaide, my mom Becca, and my dad Stanley."
"Nice to meet you all," Lincoln said."
"You too," Becca said." It really surprised me that there are creatures I never knew existed."
Lincoln sees the silver wing around Sid's neck.
"Hey that's a silver wing!" Lincoln said."
"Oh this, my family had it for years," Sid said."
"We never understood why it was important," Stanley said." Until now after Ronnie Anne told us about it."
"I'm still mad at your family for what they did," Becca said."
"Don't worry, they made amends and they're on their last month of community service," Lincoln said."
"Let's hope they did," Becca said."
"Well, I'll see you later, my family have to get ready for their last community service," Lincoln said."
"'Ok Link," Ronnie Anne said." see yah."
She cuts off her laptop.
"Ronnie Anne, can Eevee and Togepi join my tea party?" Adelaide asked."
"Sure," Ronnie Anne replied."
At the loud house,
Lincoln and his family were getting ready for their last community service.
"So, what's our last one?" Lola asked."
"It's therapy section with Dr. Lopez," Lincoln replied."
"What?!" Lola yelled." Why?!"
"Because it's part of the community service," Lincoln replied."
"He's right girls, we need this to be a better family," Lynn sr. said."
Later they were in Dr. Lopez office, the louds were in the waiting room.
"Just remember kids, don't let your pride get in the way," Rita said." I'm just Glad Harold recommended us to her."
The door opens.
"Lori Loud, you're first," Dr. Lopez said."
Lori gets up and heads into the office and sits in the counseling chair.
"So Lori, tell me, why are you so obsessed with your phone and neglect your older sister duties?" Lopez asked."
Lori hesitates at first.
"I guess, I've been obsessed with my phone since I was a baby," Lori replied."
"Like a phono Holic?" Lopez asked."
"Yes," Lori replied."
"I see," Lopez said."
"And as for my job as a big sister, I realized that I've been doing such a terrible job that my brother does it for me. I even abuse the being the first-born title," Lori said."
"So, you're saying that just because you're the first born you get first dibs of everything?" Lopez asked."
"Yes," Lori replied."
"Along with making up house rules like forgetting you and Leni share a room and telling your siblings to never call your phone?" Lopez asked." even though you don't own the house and forgetting that you're their emergency call if they can't reach their parents?"
"Yes," Lori replied feeling more Guilty."
"So, tell me why," Lopez said."
"Well, it's hard being the oldest in the family and being the oldest and being queen of no," Lori said." Since I was small, looking after my siblings has put a lot of stress on me over the years as my family grew until I snapped and became the queen of no. I just wanted to do what I wanted like being on my phone, hang with my friends and be with Bobby," Lori said."
"I see, all teenagers want that, you have to realize that if you have siblings, you must look after them and set good examples for them to follow," Lopez said." Now, about Bobby, I see that you control the relationship instead of it being equal."
"Well, I realized that I do since I tried to force him to wear a tux to the dance and I didn't even want to watch monster truck and force him to take Lincoln. next thing I knew, they really bonded, and I felt like a third wheel that I used Clyde's affection for me to get Bobby jealous," Lori said."
"Yet he does what you want," Lopez said." And you don't want to do something he wants."
Lori was feeling guilty.
"Now, tell me about your relationship with your brother, you two seemed close but not anymore," Lopez said."
Lori sits up and has her knees close.
"Well, we were close when we were little, but after listening to scoots and that boy bullying Leni, I figured that Lincoln would be like that once he's older. but deep down I do love my brother. it's just, after having my phone and focus on my social status and Bobby, I became what Lincoln's letter said being the worst sister ever," Lori said." I even joined in the luck incident because I was more focused on my golf and Bobby."
"And the dress?" Lopez asked."
Lori felt worse.
"I knew Leni had hers when I got home, but I felt that since I'm the oldest I should have it first," Lori replied." But after reflecting, I realized that I was acting like a six-year-old trapped in a 17-year-old body and we blamed Lincoln for meddling not realizing that we did the same when he was being bullied by Ronnie Anne. what's worst I said that we are the only ones who can bully him, it just proves that I'm a terrible sister."
"And you're redeeming yourself to become a better and more responsible sister," Lopez said."
"Yes," Lori replied."
"Very well, please call in Leni," Lopez said."
Lori nods and heads out of the office. Leni then comes in.
"Hello Leni, please have a seat," Lopez said."
Leni sits in the chair.
"So tell me about yourself," Lopez said." Don't be scared."
"Well, to be honest, I always hear many people calling me dumb blonde, idiot, brainless, stupid, etc," Leni said."
"And do they call you that?" Lopez asked."
"I don't know, I mean I know that I'm not as smart as the others but being called a dumb blonde really hurts because not all blondes are dumb," Leni replied."
"I see, does your brother think the same?" Lopez asked."
"No, he knows I'm not that smart, but he still puts up with me, he even helped me learn to drive by speaking Leni," Leni replied."
"And why join in the luck incident after he helped you?" Lopez asked."
Leni holds her knees close feeling like crying.
"I-I don't know, even after making amends I kept asking why I mistreated him, did I hate him, am I a bad person, was I really the idiot others call me or was I just following orders," Leni replied." I mean, I even joined in my sister Lola's plans on getting back at him for ignoring us. I forced him into an embarrassing outfit and showed my friends."
"And did you enjoy humiliating him like that?" Lopez asked."
"To be honest no. I felt bad about it," Leni replied." And what's worst, I didn't even apologize not even when he's dressed up as his favorite superhero, I just joined my sisters in laughing at him."
"Well, you could make things right and improve your brain and prove those wrong," Lopez said."
"Yeah, I can. Lisa even has something to improve my brain," Leni said." that way, I'll learn to not always follow orders if the situation is wrong."
"That's good, now bring in Luna," Lopez said."
Leni leaves and Luna comes in.
"Now Luna, you love music right?" Lopez asked."
"Well yeah," Luna replied."
"And you took your brother to his first concert?' Lopez asked."
"Yes, even though I did embarrass him at first. but I apologized and fixed things since I'm his guardian," Luna replied."
And yet, you weren't doing a good job at it," Lopez said."
Luna winces.
"Yeah, I've been a terrible guardian even during the luck incident and hurt my only little bro, I want to wash away my sins rinse away the dirt, say my grace and pray that I don't fall, I never meant to use him as a steppingstone. If I could turn back time, I could find a way, I could've stop Lynn and convince the family to let him have a break," Luna said."
"As in knock some sense into your family?" Lopez asked."
"Yeah. I just wished I knew he needed a break," Luna replied." Pride's like a knife and it can cut deep inside, I didn't really mean to hurt him. where did I go wrong?"
"Maybe, playing music too loud can tune out things, what's important is to not play to loud and hear others," Lopez said."
"Yeah, I should," Luna said."
"Good, now send in Luan," Lopez said."
Luna Leaves and Luan comes in.
"Luan, you love comedy, right?" Lopez asked."
"Yes, I love comedy," Luan replied."
"But you do realize that some jokes can be funny and hurtful?" Lopez asked."
"Yes, after watching my April fools' pranks almost sent my brother to the hospital," Luan replied." I felt like Kevin from home alone."
"Were you inspired from Home alone 1 & 2?" Lopez asked."
"Kind of, after seeing them when I was little, I thought it would be funny since me and my family laughed at the traps," Luan asked." including Home alone 3."
"Well Luan, those weren't family members but criminals," Lopez said."
"I realized that now, and I looked like a psycho," Luan said." More than the Joker from batman."
"Well, did you enjoy hurting your brother?" Lopez asked."
(Felling guilt) "No, I tricked him to set off my pranks because I invited his girlfriend over and I knew he would protect her," Luan replied." But I was wrong when I watched an old video of a promise, I made to him."
"Would you like it if he did that to you?" Lopez asked."
"No, I wouldn't," Luan replied." It would be embarrassing, that's why I'm taking a break from my funny business until I learn self-control and make things right."
"That's good to hear, everyone likes a good prank, but you have to know how it'll effect the person you pranked because they can hurt," Lopez said."
"I understand," Luan said."
"Now bring in Lynn," Lopez said."
Luan leaves and Lynn comes in. She sits down.
"Tell me Lynn, why do all this?" Lopez asked." and don't let your pride hold you back."
Lynn hesitates at first then breaths.
"Ok, I didn't use to be like this or be a jerk to my brother. we used to be close and play together, until I entered middle school," Lynn said."
Flashback starts on her first day.
"I was picked on as so as I entered. first, they led me to the wrong direction which made me late, I was given the worst chair that ended up getting stuck that the cafeteria staff had to use peanut butter to get me out as everyone laughed at me, and when I admitted to farting everyone made fun of me," Lynn said."
flashback ends.
"I see, and why didn't you tell your parents about it?" Lopez asked."
"Because I was too embarrassed," Lynn replied." I didn't wanna look like a chump that hides behind her parents. so, I toughed up so that no one would mess with me again."
"I see," Lopez said." And why be obsessed with luck?"
"I guess it started when I was playing soccer, our team was about to lose. I didn't want to give up until I found a four-leaf clover. I used it and our team won," Lynn said." ever since then, I use whatever luck I find to help me win."
"Even if they can't go number 2 until they're number 1?" Lopez asked."
Lynn winced about it.
"Now then, what about your brother?" Lopez asked."
Lynn was feeling worse.
"Well, we used to be close, but after I entered middle school things changed." Lynn replied." After that experience from my first day of middle school, I wanted to toughen him up and get him into sports so we can hang more. but he wasn't interested and it hurt me a little."
"And that's why you bully him, not just to toughen him up but to get back at him for not being into sports," Lopez said."
(Feeling down) "Yeah, I guess it really bothered me that he wasn't into sports," Lynn said."
"Well Lynn, not all boys are into sports," Lopez said." You know that right?"
"Well, I guess it never crossed my mind," Lynn replied."
"And you blamed him for your first lost because you couldn't handle your it," Lopez said."
"Yes," Lynn said."
"And your pride wouldn't let you accept it thus you would do whatever it takes to win an argument," Lopez said."
(Guilty) "Yes," Lynn said."
"Listen Lynn, you have to understand even the best athletes lose at games, they take it as an experience to improve and try a new game play," Lopez said." But you can't blame others for your mistakes, including your brother. a real team leader takes responsibility and blame."
"I guess you're right, I let my pride get in the way and break the bond I had with my brother," Lynn said on the verge to cry."
"You now know you made a mistake and hurt the one close to you," Lopez said." Now you can start over and fix that bond."
"I agree and I'll fix it," Lynn said." thanks doc."
she leaves the room. suddenly Lucy appeared on the seat surprising Doctor Lopez.
"Oh, Lucy there you are," Lopez said."
"Greetings doctor," Lucy said."
"Tell me, why did you do what you did," Lopez said." And do you feel guilty?"
(Feeling sad) "Sigh, yes I do. Lincoln and I were close, he took the blame for me when I clogged the toilet and he helped me hook up with Rocky," Lucy replied."
"I see, and why did he take the blame?" Lopez asked."
"Because I was reading my princess pony book, I read it in the bathroom, but I put it in the toilet to hide it because I know my sisters would make fun of me for reading it," Lucy replied."
"Why would they do that?" Lopez asked."
"Because they loved making fun of Lincoln for his love for Ace Savy and I didn't want to have them make fun of me," Lucy replied." But Lincoln didn't he make fun of me."
"I see, he was being a good big brother that looks out for his sister," Lopez said."
"Yes, and I betrayed him by joining on the protocol and Luck," Lucy said." I guess I truly entered the darkness."
"Lucy, you don't say that, your brother is the light that won't let you fall to far in the dark," Lopez said." Do you understand?"
"Yes, he's the reason I haven't fallen to dark and the reason I now have a boyfriend," Lucy replied." thanks doc."
Lucy leaves and the twins come in.
"Now then Lana, why do you keep eating garbage?" Lopez asked."
"Because it tastes good," Lana replied."
"Did you stop to think that others will think your parents don't feed you enough?" Lopez asked."
"I just ignore them," Lana replied."
"Well you shouldn't, it'll cause problems for them," Lopez said." And Lola, you have a problem with your anger."
"I do not," Lola denied."
Doctor Lopez gives a deadpan look.
"Ok, fine I do," Lola admitted."
"Lola, you tend to blackmail, through tantrums, and play the guilt card to get what you want," Lopez said." And you mostly do that to your brother."
(Looking sad) "It was the only way for him and the others to hang out with me," Lola said." But I understood how they felt when they blackmailed me."
"You didn't like it did you?" Lopez asked."
"No," Lola replied."
"Listen you two," Lopez said." Lana, you can't eat garbage because it'll make you sick and Lola you must understand that that you can't always get what you want. You two have to learn that."
"We understand," the twins said." and thank you Ms. Lopez."
They leave then Lisa enter.
"Lisa, I know you don't believe in stuff like this," Lopez said."
"Indeed I don't, but after this experience, I really need this," Lisa said."
"Because you feel guilty?" Lopez asked."
"Affirmative, I've used my family as test subjects including the luck fiasco," Lisa replied." Even when I was put in my brother's class, my smarts caused problems for him, I tried out being average and I enjoyed it, but I used him as a scapegoat for the stuff I stopped doing. he was the only one willing to sit at the sticky table just for to go back to being me and save my classmates. and I begin to see why he's an amazing brother"
"Well Lisa, sometimes you forget that you're 4 and you can balance yourself with being smart and being a kid," Lopez said."
"That's true because thanks to Darcy, I've learned that," Lisa said." Along with Lincoln since he does help me with my experiments."
"That's good but maybe don't try to see things threw logic from time to time," Lopez said."
"Maybe I should, thank you Doc," Lisa said."
She leaves as the parents with Lily enter.
"Now then, you two know why you're here?" Lopez asked."
"Yes," Rita replied."
"We both agreed that we won't play favorites," Lynn sr. said."
"And yet, you payed more attention to your daughters more than your son because of their talents," Lopez said."
Both parents were feeling guilty knowing she was right.
"Yes, we never really realized that we were doing the very thing we swore we never do," Rita said."
"We felt like we failed as parents after the luck fiasco," Lynn sr. said."
"Have you two ever spent time with him?" Lopez asked."
"Well, I did take him to work with me since my husband's old job had the outdated take your daughter to work day," Rita replied."
"And I watch anime with him after we found out that we liked the same anime," Lynn sr. said."
"But did you two see him with any talents?" Lopez asked."
"Well, no not really," Rita replied." Not until his time away from us."
"Maybe you shouldn't focus on talents and treat them equally," Lopez said."
"Maybe we should," Rita said."
"And you two realized that locking your son outside is illegal right?" Lopez asked."
"Yes," Rita replied."
"Along with using the family supports each other excuse?" Lopez asked."
"Yes," Lynn sr. replied."
"As long as you know that you're reflecting on your actions then you're good," Lopez said." Now, bring in your children because this last one will be from your son."
They bring their kids, and Lincoln sits with Doctor Lopez.
"Lincoln, do you know why you're here as well?" Lopez asked."
"Yes," Lincoln replied." I'm here because of my relationship with my family."
"Indeed, from what Clyde told me, you help your sisters with their stuff and handle their petty squabbles," Lopez said." And I believe there's a difference with being nice and being too nice, the difference between thick skin and bottling up your feelings that it gave you PTSD which you kept denying in your head before going to this Kanto place. Did you feel relaxed?"
"Well, to be honest, yes. when I was in Kanto, I felt relieved and relaxed like all my stress went away," Lincoln replied." And I was afraid to tell them my feelings because i know that they can't handle being criticized and I'd be turned into a human pretzel."
His family feels guilty.
"It's ok Lincoln, you can't bottle up your feelings because man is born free but everywhere he's in chains. And even being born good society can corrupt you," Lopez said."
Lincoln looks at his family and hesitates until his mom nods.
(Breaths in and out) "Ok, the truth is, after being overshadowed by you guys, getting more attention from mom and dad, being blamed constantly and the luck incident made me feel unloved," Lincoln said."
The family gasp hearing that and felt guilt and sad.
(Towards the parents) "You two chose their stuff instead of helping me with my volcano project, it really hurt that you put my hand made coffee mugs in the attic with a box saying do not open and Lori saying it takes the joy of making fun of me when I'm this pathetic. (towards the sisters) Even at the supermarket you said you would help me shop, but instead you went caused trouble, Lynn riding the shopping kart, Luan juggling and balancing eggs, Leni releasing lobsters, Lisa trying to freeze herself, Luna using the announcement speaker, the twins playing with the water shooters, Lucy using the food to make art, and Lori to focus on Bobby to stop them. I had to shop and stop you guys from getting us kicked out. but in the end, after you found out about the deal I made with mom, you believed that you deserve a treat too but what upset me was that I was blamed for us getting kicked out and you didn't tell mom what really happened even if you got me my cereal. You guys didn't even feel guilty after you ate all the chocolate Clyde and I were using for our project forcing us to change things all the way to the girl guru incident," Lincoln said." It even upset me that you guys automatically accused me of clogging the toilet believing that only guys can clog a toilet, and it annoyed me that you keep dissing the stuff I like and that's why I taught Lily it. and I always do the things you guys like but when I wanted to do something I want with you, you just ignore and insult it."
"Girls is that true?" Rita asked."
"Yes," Leni replied."
"Now I feel like an idiot," Rita said."
"Why would you dis something your brother loves?" Lynn sr. asked."
"Because we think they're lame," Lynn replied."
"That doesn't mean you can't spend time with your brother, since he does the things you like," Rita said."
The sisters feel bad.
"What really upset me is that you guys never learn from your mistakes, you look like you do but then you go back doing it again and setting a bad example for Lily. and you guys take advantage of me all the time and I feel that I'm the only mature one in the family because Lori you can't act your age most of the time, you guys use to much energy and refused to cut back after I told you my class project on saving energy, and you two could at least act like parents and truly discipline them," Lincoln said."
The family was feeling more guilt and on the verge to cry.
"Lincoln, we didn't know you felt that way," Rita said."
"Dudes, we really messed up," Luna said."
"Literally, he never told us because he knows we couldn't handle it because of our pride," Lori said." We're literally the worst."
"We're sorry Lincoln," Leni said." We all deserve the title of worst sisters ever."
They start crying knowing they messed up. Lily gets down and waddles towards Lincoln and tugs on his pants. He looks down knowing what she wants.
"Guys, its ok, I know how sorry you are, and you were working hard to earn back my trust, love and fix the damages," Lincoln said."
They look at him surprised.
"You really mean it?" Lynn sr. asked."
"Yeah, we all just have to work together to be a better family to avoid this from happening again," Lincoln replied."
"I agree with Lincoln," Rita said."
"So, what do you say?" Lincoln asked."
The family embrace while happy tears fall down their faces. Doctor Lopez smiles at the scene knowing they finally broke the chains holding them all.
Back to the present,
"Wow, that's heavy," Carl said."
"Completly," Lena said."
"Si, but it did help the family get closer and understand each other," Rosa said."
"And we're making sure to never do this ever again," Rita said."
"Hey guys I see the town," Lincoln said."
"Yeah, I see it," Luke said."
Suddenly, the boy with his two teammates spying on them comes out.
"Hello Lincoln," the boy said."
"Um, hi," Lincoln said." who are you guys?"
"I am Amethio, this is Zirk and Onia. we are the Explores," Amethio replied." You have something we want."
"What, an autograph?" Luan asked."
"No, we want the pendent and the two balls," Zirc replied."
Some of them snickered from his comment.
"Oh, real mature," Zirc said."
"You did say it," Onia said."
"Well, you're not getting these because they belong to my family," Lincoln said."
"Then, we'll take it by force," Amethio said." Ceruledge come out."
"Rydon go!" Zirc said."
"Golduck go!" Onia said."
They send out their Pokémon. Lincoln was about to fight until he was stop.
"Let us handle it bro," Brandon said."
"You sure?" Lincoln asked."
"Yeah," Brandon replied." Vegeta go!"
"Kefla go!" Ronnie Anne said."
"Go Broly!" Luke said."
They sent out Vegetot and two Spoutly's.
"This will be easy," Zirc said." Rydon pond!"
Rydon uses pond on Broly but dodges.
"Golduck Hydro pump!"
Golduck fires hydro pump.
"Dodge!" Ronnie Anne said."
Kefla dodges.
"Vegeta mega punch!" Brandon said."
The attack hits but did nothing.
"Lava plume," Amethio said."
Ceruledge uses the attack and hurts the three Pokémon. everyone was shocked.
"Guys, we're joining," Lincoln said."
"No!" Vegeta said getting up, I won't let this fool beat me!"
"Yeah," Broly said as he and Kelfla get back up."
The three start glowing and grew taller.
"I am Vegemist," Vegeta said."
"I am Fernfist," Broly said."
"I am Fernfist," Kefla said."
"They evolved!" Lincoln said."
"Good, now let's do this!" Luke said." Broly seismic toss!"
"Kefla pummel attack!" Ronnie Anne said."
The two Pokémon uses their attacks and defeat Rydon and Golduck.
"What?!" Onia said."
"Now Vegeta, aqua punch!" Brandon said."
"Gladly," Vegeta said."
He rushes at Ceruledge as his first turns to water. his attack hits sending Ceruledge to a tree. everyone cheers.
"Fire blast!" Amethio said." Ceruledge fires a fire blast at the louds until Lincoln jumped in."
"No!" Lincoln yelled."
Suddenly his pendent glows and forms a shield around him and everyone leaving them surprised. Lincoln then sees a turtle like Pokémon for a bit before the shield and the Pokémon goes away.
"What was that?" Howard asked."
"No idea," Lincoln replied looking at his pendent."
"Hey, those Explorers are gone! CJ said."
They see the three are gone.
"Who were they? and why do they want our family pendent and pokeballs?" Lana asked."
"I'm not sure, but we'll find out soon," Lulu replied."
They continue towards the city as the three explorers watch from Amethio's Corviknight.
"It's done, the pendent reacted to him," Amethio said."
(Over the phone) "Good, for now just watch over them," the voice said."
"Yes sir," Amethio said."
That's chapter 33, the final flashback has come to an end, Lincoln and the gang had just encountered the explores, next chapter, Lake of rage.
