Tails here, with this new story, don't worry I'm not abandoning Black Flame Ruby, I was just having burnout on it then got this idea, and thought it'd be interesting. Ruby has four Magics right now, I technically show three, but I have an idea for one more Magic as the story proceeds. Also for a good long while Ruby is going to be very OOC, that's because I have have a character arc planned for her, but right now, I do not have the arc mapped or planned out yet. last also, I swear, the pairing i've chosen, nothing will happen until after the 7 year timeskip.
I do not Own Fairy Tail or RWBY, they belong to Hiro Mashima and Rooster Teeth respectively.
Now, I'm not sure how often I'll work on this story, until after the timeskip, Ruby won't be around for the big arcs of Cannon, other than Phantom Lord, the Battle of Fairy Tail, and the jury's out on Edolas.

We see 4 people rushing into a dark room within a tree, 3 of them are girls and the last is an older guy. "Ruby!" The first girl yells, she has long blonde hair and lilac eyes and has a mechanical, gold prosthetic arm, she's wearing khaki overalls with gold zippers, over a white, low-cut, cropped tube top, and under a dark brown aviator jacket with a fur neck trim, dark brown knee high boot.
"Gods, why is it so dark in here, can you see anything, Blake?" The second girl has long white hair in a braided pony-tail and pale blue eyes, she's wearing a blue, white and gray dress, and pale blue wedge-heel boots.
"I'm not sure, Neo's laying on the floor." The last girl, known as Blake says, seeing a girl on the ground, she has shoulder length, black hair and cat ears on top of her head, and amber eyes, she's wearing a sleeveless, purple catsuit attached to purple boots under a white tail-coat.
"If Neo's here, where's Ruby?" The guy says, he has long blonde hair and beard with white streaks, and blue eyes, he's wearing rusted white armor.
"Blake?!" The blonde yells, freaking out.
"I'm sorry, Yang, but I don't see her." Blake says, as they're walking toward the other girl, this girl called Neo, has long, half pink and brown hair with white streaks, her left eye is brown and her right eye is pale pink, she's wearing a white 3 gray button up vest cropped exposing her midriff, under a brown jacket that starts just below the shoulders, white leather pants, and black and white spat ankle boots.
"Blake, you're the only one who can really see, please try to find Ruby." The white haired girl says.
"I'm doing my best Weiss." Blake says, walking around, while the older man takes a look at Neo, her eyes are blank, but he can see she's still breathing, if barely, while Blake is walking towards a table that she sees a hand coming out from behind, and a broken teacup on the ground. "No no no." She mutters, running towards the table.
"What is it, Blake?!" Yang screams.
"Yang, Weiss, Jaune get over here!" Blake yells. Looking at the still form of another girl, she has choppy black hair with red tips and silver eyes, which are devoid of any sparks of life, she's wearing a black laced up corset, over a sleeveless mesh top, a pleated red skirt, over red shorts, black, thigh-high steel-toed boots, and a red hooded cloak. The three of them rush over to Blake, and Yang sees the girl lying on the floor, with no signs of life, and her eyes widen and tear up.
"No no no, not Ruby, please no!" Yang freaks out, falling when she gets there. "Get up, please, Ruby, please get up. You can't be dead, you can't, you can't, please!" She cries, holding the body, but then they hear demented chuckling, as the lights turn on, they look and see a large, bright blue and purple, checkered cat.
"I didn't expect the pink one to actually poison the tea." The cat chuckles, and they all glare at the cat. "Hehehe, what I only gave the girl the option to drink the tea, she's the one who drank it, I even told her it was poisoned." The cat says.
"You're lying, Ruby would never commit Suicide!" Yang screams.
"Sorry, young one, but that's the only thing this lying little rat has told the truth about." They all hear a voice.
"Who's there?!" The cat yells, and the door the four of them came through glows white, and they all see a figure in the glow, out of the glow comes a man, he has curly brown hair, brown eyes with slitted pupils, two brown fox ears, 3 whisker marks on both cheeks, elongated canines and ten swaying fox tails, he's wearing a white, button up shirt, under a black suit vest, black suit pants and black dress shoes.
"Hello, you must be one of my predecessor's pathetic little defects." The man says, snapping his fingers, and the cat explodes into bright blue dust.
"Who are you!?" Jaune asks, pointing his sword at the man, who sighs.
"My name is Tails, I'm the successor to the Brother Gods, I'm sorry I was too slow, I only just sensed that 6 people were in the Cradle, that shouldn't be." Tails says, shocking them, he holds his hand up, and Ruby's body glows blue as blue wisps flow off her, and form a glowing orb in his hand.
"What'd you do!?" Yang yells.
"Please, calm down, young one, I'm doing my job sending her soul into the cycle of proper reincarnation." He says, as the orb floats into the sky.
"Proper reincarnation?" Weiss asks.
"Yes, proper reincarnation, where the soul is sent to an entirely new world, to become a new being, unlike what my predecessors did with Ozma." He says, snapping his other hand and Jaune glows, when the glow dies down, he's young again.
"Would, would it be too much, if I asked you to bring my sister back to life?" Yang asks, holding Ruby's body like a lifeline, crying, and Tails' eyes soften.
"I'm sorry, but you know I'm not allowed to do that, I really am sorry that I didn't get here in time, since I know what you're going through, I just recently lost my Grandfather, in my home dimension. But I can do the second best thing, and resolve all the screw ups of my predecessors." Tails says, snapping his fingers, and they all disappear from the tree.

We now hear a baby crying, as we now see a small hut outside a village. "It's a girl, and a very healthy one at that." A doctor says, after a few minutes, we see the parents and baby, after the doctor leaves. The happily crying dad has black hair, and purple eyes, he's wearing a cream shirt, brown pant's, and sandals. The mom has long black hair that turns red halfway down, and silver eyes, she's wearing a dark red sleeping gown. The baby is in a red blanket, she has a tuft of black hair, and she has heterochromia, with her left eye being purple and her right eye being silver.
"Sum, it's our baby, our baby girl!" The dad says, happy, and the baby giggles at her father.
"Yes, our beautiful baby girl, with both our eyes, Roy." Sum says, smiling.
"So what are you going to call her, we did say I'd name it if it was a boy, and you'd name it if it was a girl, Summer." Roy says, and she nods, laying there thinking for a few minutes, when her eyes sparkle.
"Ruby, Ruby Rose." Summer says, and the now named Ruby giggles, clapping her hands.
"A beautiful name, and it seems she likes it too, so then, welcome to the world Ruby Rose." Roy says, excited

We see Summer out behind the hut, with little Ruby who's laughing and giggling, running around and playing with a ball, she also now has short hair that has red tips, she's wearing a red shirt and black shorts. "How are my two favorite ladies?" Roy asks, walking up, slapping dirt off his hands.
"We're doing fine, honey, how were the fields?" Summer asks.
"The crops are coming in good, how about Ruby, you took her to see your old Guild Master right." He asks.
"Yeah, he said Ruby has a lot of Magic for her age, and he thinks she might be predisposed towards Light Magic." She says.
"Huh, interesting, but that old man is rarely wrong about these things." He says.
"Well, he said the same thing about me, and I couldn't make heads or tails of it when he tried to teach it to me, and I was half my age at that time, I was 14 then." She says.
"What about Macao, you made him Ruby's Godfather right, how'd he react?" He asks.
"Hehe, he was so ecstatic, to meet his new Goddaughter, says he can't wait to have a kid of his own, so Ruby can have a Godsibling." She says
"So, if she wants, are you going to let her join the Guild?" He asks.
"Of course, only if she wants to though, I won't push her." She says.
"That's fine, honey." Roy says, and summer picks up Ruby and the ball, and they all head into the house for dinner. That night they wake up to Ruby crying, but as they wake up they also smell a lot of smoke, in a gold glow Summer's now wearing a black tank top under a red, sleeveless, zip-up vest, black, calf-length pants, black boots with red laces, and on her right shoulder is a red icon, that looks like a helmet but is actually a fairy with a tail.
"Stay here with Ruby, I'll check the village, it's probably some bandit's or Dark Mages." Summer says, stepping out the door then her body glows red, and she speeds off towards the village, when she gets there she sees a small group of 7 dark mages, she speeds forward, glowing red. "Five-Ton Mallet!" She chants, appearing in front of one, and slamming her fist in the guy's stomach, and he drops, like a pile of bricks, she glows and speeds out of their sights. "Falcon Heavenward!" She chants, appearing and kicking one in the back launching him into the town wall cratering it and knocking that mage out. (That's 5 left.) She thinks, proceeding to knock out 4 more, when she's speeding towards the last one, who steps to the side and puts his arm out, causing her eyes to widen, and she slams into it, tripping her causing her to slide creating a skid mark in the ground, as she's skipping like a stone and slamming into a house.
"Hehe, didn't expect to run into the Speed Demon of Fairy Tail, but did you think we didn't sense two large Magic signatures in this town, it's partially what drew us here for the sacrifice of this whole town and the two high magic signatures here, will unleash a powerful demon, that's for sure." The last dark mage says, laughing and her eyes widen.
(A dark mage cult of demon worshippers, just my luck.) Summer thinks, annoyed but is horrified, seeing three more dark mages walk into the town, two holding onto Roy, the last holding Ruby. "I swear to whatever God is listening, if you touch my husband or daughter, I WILL KILL YOU!" She screams, trying to get up, and the dark mages laugh.
"Hey boss, you won't believe it, that other Magic signature we felt, it's coming from this brat." Another dark mage says, handing the boss, Ruby.
"Well isn't this a surprise, it almost seems like a waste to sacrifice the kid, hm, but what can you do?" The boss says, nonchalant, waving his hand as a large pentagram surrounded by odd runes is inscribed in the town center, another dark mage waves his hand creating magic chains, Summer, Roy and the surviving villagers are chained up.
"Hey you bastard, do whatever you want to any of us, but leave the toddler out of this!" Several villagers yell.
"Oh if you're all so willing then." The leader says, snapping his finger and the lackeys start dragging the villagers into the pentagram, the leader then speaks in an odd language, and the pentagram starts to glow purple, and his brow raises. "That's a new color." He mutters, but shrugs his shoulders and after an hour the only ones still alive are Roy, Summer and Ruby. "Next one." The leader says, and the lackeys start dragging a kicking and screaming Roy to the middle of the now blood stained pentagram.
"No!" Summer screams, headbutting one of the dark mages knocking him out, coincidentally it was one of the ones she knocked out earlier. The leader then grabs her by the hair and drags her to the pentagram as well.
"You're annoying, oh and you guys, throw him in as well, that's the second time he was knocked out and by a simple headbutt no less." The leader says, shocking them, but they throw the dark mage she knocked out anyway, three of the other dark mages take out ceremonial daggers and stab the three of them, letting them bleed out. The leader pulls out a ceremonial dagger, going to stab Ruby, when the pentagram goes black and the 9 of them feel a massive spike of dark feeling magic, as a black mist spreads from the pentagram.
"Vile, disgusting, and wretched humans, you dare summon me, with this disgusting act!" A shadowy figure seethes, rising from the pentagram, they see an arm swing out, as shadow spikes rips through the 9 dark mages hearts killing them instantly, the black mist then recedes, and we now see the demon that was summoned, who also caught Ruby, and she's looking at her, it's a beautiful human looking female demon, she's pale, has black hair up in a nageshimada, pale blue eyes, she's wearing a black haori over a black and purple kimono, geta sandals, and out of her back are 10 bat-like wings. "What a tragedy, and to be the only survivor, young one." She says, looking at Ruby and thinking, then her eyes light up. "How about my husband and I raise you, little Charlie has been sorely wanting a younger sibling, my name's Lillith." She says, and then sees Summer. "Ah this must be your mother, a sad fate for you two to be separated." She says, and puts her hand on Summer's form, and a small crystal ball appears, as a single wisp of blue goes into it, she grabs and hands it to Ruby, who grabs ahold of it, almost protectively, and Lillith smiles as they disappear into the shadows.

We see a large town, and along the main road, we see a 9 year old Ruby, she now has messy hair, she's wearing a short-sleeved, red shirt with odd black runes on the back, calf-length, black pants, and black sneakers with red laces, and floating beside her is the crystal ball. "So this is Magnolia, seems homey." Ruby mutters, and the ball glows.
"Yep, Magnolia is a very old town, the people have always prided on it being homey, but it's changed so much since I was last here." The voice of Summer comes from the ball.
"Mom you shouldn't be floating out in the open, you know some people would freak out if they learned a fragment of your soul was in there, since your actual body has been dead for 6 years." Ruby says, putting the crystal ball in a leather pouch on her side, as she's walking she sees her destination, a large pagoda-like building. (So that's your guild mom, Fairy Tail, the strongest guild in Fiore.) Ruby thinks, and after another 10 minutes, she's at the front door, when she sighs, and walks through the door only to see 2 12 year old boys tumbling around on the floor, one has spiky pink hair the other has messy black hair and is only in his underwear, then two gauntleted hands, grab them and pull them apart, said hands belong to a red haired girl with brown eyes, she's wearing a white blouse under some armor.
"Natsu, Gray what have I told you about fighting…" The girl says, but then notices Ruby. "Gray get your clothes on, we've got company. Hello there, my name's Erza Scarlet." She says.
"Where's the Guild Master?" Ruby asks, Erza's brow twitches, at practically being ignored, but points at the bar where there are 4 men 2 are around 30, one of the two is holding a baby, 1 is around 39, and the last is in his 80's, Ruby nods and walks towards the bar, only for Erza to put her hand on her shoulder.
"Aren't you going to introduce yourself?" Erza asks, Ruby just looks back at her glaring, as her magic spikes, gaining many of the guilds attention, manifesting a red aura around her, shocking many the pressure of her magic alone starts cracking the floor.
"Don't touch me." Ruby says, coldly, and shaking Erza's hand off, as her magic settles, she walks towards the bar, while most others, who saw the whole interaction are shocked, the 4 at the bar are shocked by something completely different.
"Hello there child, what's your name, mine's Makarov Dreyar." The oldest man says, he has black eyes and balding white hair, and she glares at him.
"Don't play stupid, I know the four of you know who I am. I am, after-all, the spitting image of Summer, aside from having both of my parents' eyes." Ruby says, and Makarov chuckles.
"Yes, you're right, it'd be bad if the 4 of us didn't recognize you, you definitely are the spitting image of Summer. Where have you been, 6 years ago we heard about what happened to your home, you were missing when we got there." Makarov says, and she chuckles, but they notice her chuckle has a dark tinge to it.
"I don't think you'd believe me if I told you." She says.
"Try us." The 39 year old says, he has slicked back orange hair and dark green eyes.
"If you insist, I've been in Makai." She says, shocking everyone listening.
"How'd you end up in the demon world?" Makarov asks.
"Well those dark mages that attacked, they were demon worshippers, and they succeeded in summoning a demon. But I know the two of you, Makarov Guild Master for over 40 years and Gildarts Clive Ace of Fairy Tail, know the truth about demons, not all of them are evil, heck most don't even have an interest in our world." She says, and Makarov and the orange haired guy nod. "What do you think would happen if a demon that had no interest in our world, was very human like in personality, and is very powerful, was summoned. I'll tell you, it's not very good for the dark mages, the demon they summoned killed them in disgust." She says.
"But how'd you end up in Makai?" One of the 30 year olds asks, he has brown hair in a pompadour.
"She took me with her, as I said she's very human-like in personality, and didn't feel like leaving me alone in a dead village." Ruby says.
"She?" The last guy, the one holding a baby asks, he has messy, dark blue hair and dark blue eyes.
"Yes, she, Lady Lilith, the Devil Queen of Makai, I was adopted into Makai's Royal Family." She says, shocking everyone listening. "Now I don't really expect any of you to believe me, and frankly I don't care if you do, but I'm here to join the guild my mother was a part of." She says, and Makarov nods, going to grab the guild stamp, and the guy holding the baby walks up to her and she looks at him. "Macao Conbolt, my Godfather." She says, shocking him.
"How'd you know that?" Macao asks.
"She's said a few things that don't make sense for her to know with Summer dead." The pompadour guy says, she sighs, and Makarov walks up.
"Alright where do you want your mark and what color?" Makarov asks.
"Right shoulder and purple." Ruby says, pulling that bit of sleeve up, and he places the stamp on her shoulder for a few seconds, then takes it off showing the same mark as her mothers. "Do you have a private place to talk, there's one last thing the four of you should be aware of." She says, and Makarov nods, taking the five of them to his office.
"Alright what's so secret, you needed to tell us in private?" Gildarts asks.
"Not tell, show." She says, opening the pouch on her side. "Come on out." She says, and the crystal ball floats out.
"A crystal ball?" Pompadour asks, confused.
"Geeze, Wakaba, you've gotten old." Summer says, shocking the four of them, at hearing her voice.
"Summer?" Makarov questions.
"Hey old man, it's been a while, and yes it's me, I know I don't really look like myself, but it's me." She says.
"Prove it." Wakaba says, and Summer chuckles.
"Wakaba, when you and Macao were 15, Gildarts got the two of you drunk, and you made out with each other." She says, making Makarov and Gildarts laugh, and Macao and Wakaba go completely red.
"Yep, that's Summer, she's the only one who knew about that other than me." Gildarts says, beating his hand on the desk laughing.
"So Macao, is that your kid?"She asks, and after Macao calms down, he nods.
"This is my son, Romeo, he was born only a few months ago." Macao says, smiling.
"Looks like Ruby has that God Sibling you promised." She says.
"Summer." Makarov says, getting her attention. "How did this happen, how'd you end up in this crystal ball?" He asks.
"Soul Magic, when Lady Lillith took Ruby, she felt bad that she couldn't do anything to stop the dark mages until it was too late, and didn't believe it was right to take Ruby and leave me dead. So she used Soul Magic, to grab a tiny fragment of my soul, and placed it in this Crystal ball, so Ruby could still grow up with her mother, and I'm honestly thankful to her, thanks to her I'll still get to watch my baby girl grow up." Summer says.
"Mom!" Ruby yells embarrassed.
"Ruby, how about you leave us here to catch up." Summer says, and the four of them see the instant flash of protectiveness in Ruby's eyes, but she sighs and nods.
"When you guys are done talking, just hand her to me like she's just a crystal ball, I don't want anyone else to know about her." Ruby says, and they nod in understanding, and Ruby leaves the room, they then hear Summer sigh.
"What's wrong, Summer?" Wakaba asks.
"It's just, I hope the guild wil be a good influence on her, she's a loner, and because of what happened to our village, she's quite distrustful of humans. And only, decided to join the guild, because she knows I hoped she'd join the guild, one day, had nothing happened." Summer says.
"I'm sure it will, have you forgotten, you were quite the loner when you came to us." Makarov says.
"Yeah, I remember, but Ruby's problems run deeper than mine ever did." She says, then the scene changes to outside in the guild hall and Ruby walks over to a booth to sit by herself when Natsu, Gray and Erza walk over to her.
"Saw that you joined, ready to talk yet?" Erza asks, and Ruby glares at her, actually making Erza shiver.
"Do you not have anything better to do, than to talk to someone who obviously wants to be left alone." Ruby says.
"Do you wanna fight!?" Natsu yells, getting in her face, and she pushes him back.
"No, I wouldn't waste my time fighting a brat like you." She says.
"Tch, you don't have any right saying that, you're younger than him." Gray says, annoyed.
"I don't care, just leave me alone." She says, leaving the booth to find another empty booth, but there are none, but she see's a booth with an older teen, probably 17, he's pretending to nap with magical headphones on, he has messy, blonde hair, a straight scar across his right eye, he's wearing a dark yellow shirt over a long-sleeve, black shirt, dark green pants, and black boots. She sighs and sit's across from him but in the corner, in a gold glow, a red book appears in her hand, and she starts to read, not noticing him open his eyes at the small spike of magic, and we see he has gray eyes, and sees her reading the book, he can only see the cover, and he sees runes he's never seen before, he shrugs mentally, and closes his eyes again.
The next day Ruby walks into the guild, intent on taking a look at the job board, as she's standing there looking at the jobs Makarov said she's allowed to take, at her age and rank, and snarls. "Finding lost items and pets, picking flowers, looking for missing kids, wait, that one actually makes sense as a job, but aside from that one, these are all stupid." Ruby mutters, annoyed, she then hears shuffling behind her.
"So you're the new kid who joined, while we were out." She hears a haughty and arrogant voice, she turns around and see three people, they all have white hair and bright blue eyes, two are girls, the oldest has her hair in a ponytail, and is wearing gothic clothes, the youngest has a bob cut, and is wearing a pink dress, she also has a kind and friendly air around her, and the last is a boy he has messy hair and is wearing a blue suit.
"What do you want?" Ruby asks coldly, especially looking at the girl with a ponytail, who similar to Erza shivers at her stare, just worse, the youngest of the three notices that.
"Geeze, we're just trying to introduce ourselves, you really shouldn't try to make enemies with those stronger than you." The oldest says.
"Tch, what do you know about strength, after-all your only trick is stealing power from others." Ruby says coldly, shocking them.
"How do you…" The older girl says.
"It's not hard for me, I can see demonic presences, and you're not doing a good job of suppressing the demonic power inside you, it's like you're asking for demon's to come after you." Ruby say, turning around and ignoring them, to grab the job to look for the missing kids, only to be pushed.
(Uh oh.) Summer thinks in the pouch, as Ruby turns around glaring at the oldest, who's smirking at her, the other two run away, already seeing the fight coming, as well as others.
"Looks like someone needs…" The girl says, only to be kicked in the stomach knocking her back and breaking a table, she gets up glaring and glows purple, when the glow dies down revealing her in a skimpy, dark red one-piece suit open in the front and back, scaled and clawed hands, a stocky tail, pointed ears, and her white hair is all sticking up. With Ruby they all see her gain a cold and calculated look in her eyes, that start to glow pink, as her hair spikes up, and on her right arm and the right side of her face, appear gold marks, that all look like various forms of religious symbols, while on her left arm and left side of her face, appears black wisp like markings.
"Walk away, NOW, or you will die." Ruby says, darkly, the girl holds her hand out and a purple and black magic circle appears as a bunch of hands made of dark magic shoot out to grab Ruby, but she dodges them, then the girl glares, with a large spike of magic, purple and black magic forms around her right arm.
"Mirajane, stop, this instant!" Makarov yells, but is ignored.
"Soul Extinctor!" Mirajane roars, releasing a beam of dark magic at Ruby, it hits creating a small explosion, but to the shock of everyone, they hear slurping, as the explosion is getting smaller and once it get small enough, they see the attack funneling into Ruby's mouths, when it's done she wipes her mouth.
"You're a Dragon Slayer?!" Natsu yells, shocked.
"Another Dragon Slayer." Other members mutter.
(she said she was raised by demons, not a dragon…, are there other types of Slayers?) Makarov thinks.
"Light Devil's Curse Fist!" Ruby chants, rushing at Mirajane, and slamming her right fist, that is shrouded in light pink, into her stomach, making her spit up a lot of blood. "Light Devil's Hex Crush!" She chants, kicking Mira in the face, with her right foot shrouded in light pink, and launching her back and through the wall, Ruby walks towards her slowly, as Mira gets up wobbly, and she's more hurt than any of them have ever seen.
"How'd she hurt Mira so much, she only hit her with 2 spells?" Erza mutters, confused.
"Light Devil's Maledictive Crash!" Ruby chants, rushing and grabbing Mira's face with her right hand, and they see a blast of light pink magic explode from her right hand, throwing Mira out further, and they can all see she is very hurt now. Ruby holds her hand out in front of her, and they see a light pink ball of magic appear in front of her.
"Stop this foolishness now!" Makarov yells, with giant hands grabbing both Ruby and Mirajane, stopping the fight.
(You shoulda done that from the start, old man.) Summer thinks, as the two of them are pulled into the guild.
"Mirajane, what have I told you about keeping your temper in check?" Makarov says, and both Ruby and Mira return to normal.
"But…" Mirajane says.
"Don't 'but' me my child, I was watching you since, Natsu told you someone new joined. And Ruby, why did you rise to her taunts." Makarov says, and Ruby scoffs.
"Hardly, I ignored her, and when she decided to act like a petulant child, I warned her this wasn't going to go the way she thought it would, and she still attacked me." Ruby says, walking back to the job board, and grabs the job to find the missing kids, and takes it to the bar, where a woman stamps it.
"Before you leave, Ruby, I want the BOTH of you to apologize for the fight." Makarov says, Mira looks away.
"No." Mira says.
"I'm not apologizing for her being a weakling who can't handle her stolen power." Ruby says.
"Neither of you are leaving until you apologize." Makarov says, and Ruby just stares at him, and shocking everyone, her body glows dark pink and sinks into her shadow, and leaves the guild. (So she has some form of Light Magic and Shadow Magic.) He thinks, after a few hours, Ruby walks in with three kids following her, the first is a young girl with blue hair and brown eyes, the second is a young boy with orange hair and black eyes, the last is another young boy, with black hair and eyes. "Who are these three Ruby?" He asks.
"Levy, Jet and Droy, they are the kids I had to find, they got lost trying to find the guild, they want to join." Ruby says, ordering some food from the bar, when she gets it she sits at the same booth with the guy pretending to nap, and requips another book, and she reads while eating.
"That was pretty cool, how you dealt with the she-demon earlier." The guy says, shocking a few people listening, including Makarov.
"Thanks, I just wanted her to leave me alone though, she pushed it, I'd rather not waste my time on weaklings." She says, not even looking away from her book, and the guy chuckles at that.
"I can agree on that, Laxus Dreyar." He says, introducing himself.
"Ruby Rose." She says, still not looking away from her book.
"Heh, no quip about me being related to the Guild Master, that's how most new people react." He says, and she actually looks at him.
"You could be the son of the king for all I care, and it wouldn't matter to me, I only care how strong you are, and blood has no bearing on strength, that all depends on you." She says, going back to reading and eating.
"Heh this guild could use more people like you, would you care to spar sometime?" He asks, again shocking those listening, and she looks up.
"Considering how strong I can feel you are, I wouldn't mind that." She says, and he smirks.
"Out of curiosity, how'd you hurt the she-demon, so much, even Erza over there, her supposed rival, can't even hurt her like that, and even as strong as I am, none of my spells even do the sheer amount of damage you did to her?" Laxus asks, and she chuckles darkly.
"If the Master hadn't interfered, she would've died, she was inherently at a disadvantage, after-all I'm a Devil Slayer, my magic was specifically created to kill demons. It'd be the same, if there was such a thing as Draconic Soul Take Over, then a person with that magic, would be at a similar disadvantage against that pink haired brat." Ruby explains.
