XANA Awakens Part One

(THEME SONG)

Here we are, going far, to save all that we love

If we give all we've got we will make it through

Here we are, like a star, shining bright on your world today…

Make evil go away!

Code Lyoko: We'll reset it all

Code Lyoko: Be there when you call

Code Lyoko: We will stand real tall

Code Lyoko: Stronger after all

The computer is turned on by a twelve-year old boy with glasses named Jeremy Belpois, who is narrating in his journal. "Diary of Jeremy Belpois, Kadic Academy eighth grade student, October 9th. A few weeks ago, I was hunting for parts to finish building my miniature robots. I couldn't find anything around here I could use," He went from the sewer and headed to the factory. "So, I decided to rummage for scrap in the abandoned factory not far from the academy. I figured that I could find plenty of cool old mechanical stuff left inside there that would be useful." He grabbed the rope and slid down to the bottom. "And I wasn't disappointed, it was unbelievable! I stumbled into some sort of complex, with an entire computer lab with scanners, and especially this totally intense mainframe." He headed to the elevator, looking around to make sure no one is following him. He pressed the button to go down. "For the moment, I haven't told anyone, it's my little secret." The panel to the supercomputer is opened and revealing a power lever. "It's the coolest thing that's ever happened to me. And that wasn't all; that night, even though I was scared stiff, I decided to start up the computer."

"I hope I'm not going to regret this in a minute…ok…go!" Jeremy said, turning the supercomputer on. "Wow!" He took a step back after the bright light from it.

He headed back to the elevator and went up to the computer lab. Jeremy gets on the computer that connects to the supercomputer.

"Now let's see what you've got under the hood, my friend." Jeremy said, types on the keyboard and the monitor turns on itself.

The interface showed there was a girl with pink hair, who appears to be sleeping before waking up.

"Wow! What's all this? A video game?" He said before the girl responded.

"Uh…who-who are you? Where…where am I?" She asked.

"Huh?!" He gasped.

The next morning on school campus called Kadic Academy, the school bell rang as Jeremy and other students enter the science class and it headed by Suzanne Hertz, the science teacher. As they settle in before class starts, A boy with brunette hair sat near the window.

"Uh…are you Ulrich Stern?" The boy with blond-hair with purple streak asked.

"That depends. Who wants to know?" Ulrich answered.

"Odd Della Robbia! His brand-new roommate!" He introduced himself as he sits next to him.

"What?!" He inquired.

"I'm new at the academy and the principal told me to move in with you!" Odd said.

"Uh…latch onto me sounds more like it." Ulrich said, sarcastically.

"Relax! I'm totally cool!" He said. "Trust me, you'll see; you won't even know I'm there."

"I sure hope so." Ulrich said. "We don't exactly go way back! So just for now, let's take things nice and slow, okay?"

"Okay, nice and slow." Odd said.

A tall girl with long black-hair with yellow headband and earring, approached Ulrich and Odd.

"Hi there, Ulrich sweetheart. I got something important to tell you." She told Ulrich.

"Important like, uhh, I've lost my mascara, or my pink t-shirt ran?" He said, sarcastically.

"No, nothing as serious as that!" She said. "It's something about you and me. If you want to know more, come by my dorm tonight at eight. I'm counting on you." She walked away.

"Ulrich…sweetheart? Who's the good-looking babe?" Odd asked, amused.

"Sissi, that principal's daughter." Ulrich answered. "Guys flip over her but she's only flipped over me!"

"That's pretty cool!" He remarked.

"Cool? She's totally brain-dead and a leech as well." Ulrich said.

"In that case, it's pretty lame." Odd said.

The school bell rang, meaning the class ended.

"And the waiter says, I don't have frog's legs, that's just the way I walk!" Odd laughed. "You get it?"

"No." Ulrich said, not getting it. "But what I am beginning to get is that you're determined not to give me a break!"

"We're going to have to get to know each other." Odd said. "And you'll see, by the end of the day, you won't be able to do without me!"

At the factory, Jeremy went to the factory to meet with the pink-hair girl.

"Artificial Intelligence, can you hear me?" He called to her as the interface of her is showing.

"Yes, but…would you mind calling me something else, please?" She said, wanting to be named something else.

"Ok…how do you like the name…Maya?" Jeremy suggested.

"Maya? I like that!" 'Maya' said. "But what I like is for you to tell me what I'm doing in this virtual universe."

"That's not so easy, but I got a couple of answers; you're part of a virtual environment called Lyoko…"

"And you've got to try to get out of there." He said as 'Maya' is sitting on the platform. "Look around for a door or something like that."

She turned around and walked towards the data wall.

"Jeremy, I can't find anything. I-" She puts her hand on it until she phased through it.

She exit out from the tower and found herself in the forest world.

"Jeremy, I-" 'Maya' looked around the world. "This is weird, you have to see this."

"I'd love to, but do you thing you can give me a visual?" He requested.

"I'll try." She said.

He waited for her to uplink the visual he wanted to see.

"Huh?" Jeremy sees the interface and sees the forest region. "Wow!"

Another interface shows the four regions as well as the holosphere shows him.

"Maya, there isn't just a forest out there! There's an entire world!" He exclaimed.

"I count four sectors; each one is different." Jeremy said while exploring until she sees something.

There are two small strange creatures with markings on them, approaching her.

"Uh Jeremy, I'm not alone out here." 'Maya' said. "There are some animals."

"Fantastic!" He exclaimed, seeing the virtual creature the first time.

"That's fantastic! This virtual world has an entire ecosystem with virtual living creatures! Can you get closer?" He said before creature start shooting laser at her.

"Jeremy! They're attacking me!" 'Maya' cried while running back to the tower.

"Run away, Maya!" He said.

"Get back to the Tower!" Jeremy said.

'Maya' keeps running but hit by a laser and fell almost to the tower.

The interface shows 'Maya' avatar and shows that she's losing her health points.

"Maya!" He panicked.

"Hurry up!" He said while the creature shoots her as she gets up and heads to the tower but hits by a laser, pushing her inside.

"Phew! You're life points is regenerating." He sighed in relief.

A few hours later, Ulrich and Odd is having conversation of getting know each other while the tall girl with black hair walks by them with caffeine.

"You know I was thinking?" Odd asked. "You know your girlfriend there, Sissi?"

"She's not my girlfriend!" Ulrich retorted.

"Cool!" He threw the empty cup to the trash can. "So that means she's available."

Jeremy walks by them to the drinking machine.

"I'm telling you, she's lame!" Ulrich said. "Plus, no offense but you're not her type."

"Oh yeah, I hear that a lot." Odd said.

When Jeremy pressed the button on the vending machine, he becomes electrocuted.

"Huh?!" The boy with long, tied black-hair with silver streak noticed.

"Belpois!" He said as Jeremy collapsed from shock.

Ulrich and the boy rushed there to help him.

"Hey Belpois, you okay?" He asked, putting his glasses back on.

"What happen to you?" The boy asked.

"We'll take him to the infirmary." Ulrich told his roommate. "Tell the teacher, okay?"

"Mm-hmm." Odd ran to tell the teacher what happened.

They take his arm around him and took him to the infirmary as the buttons of vending machine appears to have the same marking from the monster in Lyoko.

"Hmm?" The boy turned to look at it for a second.

"What's wrong, Kenny?" He asked him.

"Nothing, let's go." Kenny said.

At the infirmary, the nurse name Yolanda, who is checking Jeremy's blood pressure while he is on the bed, recovering from the shock.

"Nothing too serious." She said. "Just a minor electrical shock and some superficial burns."

"You wanted some juice, well you got some!" Ulrich joked.

"Very funny, Stern…but, thank you all the same!" Jeremy thanked them as they leave.

"Don't mention it." He said. "I'll come by to check on you tonight after my martial arts class."

"See you later, Jeremy." Kenny said before Ulrich shut the door.

At the gymnasium, a physical education teacher named Jim Morales, who is teaching the gym class as Ulrich is the only one attending the night class.

"How are you all? I'm happy to see so many of you here tonight!" Jim greeted. "Canari Paya! Kogusoku! Jutsu! No, these are not dishes from the Golden Dragon Chinese restaurant." He said as the girl from earlier join the class. "Hahaha! Eh? Ah…no offence, Miss Ishiyama."

"None taken, sir. I'm Japanese." The girl said.

"Yeah well, whatever." He said before giving lecture. "Anyway, these are combat techniques that can save your life as they did for me when I was a forest ranger in Quebec!"

"Really? What happened?" Ulrich inquired.

"That night, well, I was quietly enjoying a waffle with maple syrup by my campfire when I was attacked by a vicious beaver! Its razor-sharp teeth were going for my jugger, but I was able to save myself thanks to my perfect mastery of the Raging Hand of Lei Fu Chang!" Jim explained his backstory.

The girl and Ulrich laughed in amusement, finding his backstory to be funny.

"What? What's so funny about that?" Jim asked, offended.

"Excuse us, sir!" She said, trying to contain her laugh.

"Honestly, I think you would've been better off not talking about it!" Ulrich advised him.

"Right, then enough laughing! Let's get into groups of two!" Jim instructed.

The girl and Ulrich gets up and enter the center ring. She bowed before they get into fighting stance. The girl throws her kick at him, who leaned back a bit. She did the low kick and Ulrich block it with his arm and did arm swing but she somersaults and gets in her fighting stance as she brush her hair off.

"Hmm, pretty good for a beginner." Ulrich commented.

"Hyah!" She spin round kick to his face.

As he falls to the ground, she grapples down as Ulrich tries to free from his grip. They stopped fighting for a second and stare each other as if their face is too close.

"Not bad but you can both use a lot more work." Jim remarked. "That'll do it for tonight, kids. Battle each other out and go get some beauty sleep." He dismissed them.

They got up and the girl bowed but Ulrich turned and left without bowing to her.

"Well nice to meet you too." She frowned.

Ulrich went to his dormitory room where Odd will be staying there. When he opens the door…

"Huh?!" He gasped when sees a dog in his bed, ripping and teething the blanket and bed cover. "What is with this mess?! Where did that mutt come from?!"

"Uh…that's Kiwi, my dog." Odd explained. "He just had a little fit, that's all. You'll understand. The poor thing's not used to being cooped up."

"I mean look at this! My CDs, my clothes, he's trashed everything! And he-argh! Did you see what he did in my bed?!" He complained as Odd walked to look.

"Uh, sorry but I couldn't take him out with everyone around." Odd reasoned. "There are no dogs allowed in Kadic."

"No kidding! I think the principle is gonna be interested in hearing about this!" Ulrich said, left to go tell the principle.

"That's ok, Kiwi! My little diggety-dog!" Odd said to Kiwi, who ripped his pillow.

In Jeremy's room, he is working on his program for his miniature robots.

"Hmm? What's going on?" He said as the computer screen is frizzled and showing the same marking from earlier. "Hey, I've seen that logo before." He turned to see his robot that acted strangely and had a marking from the screen.

The Kenny went back to his room after brushing his teeth as Ulrich is on his way to the principle office until they heard a scream coming from Jeremy's room. They rushed to his room, only to find him being attacked by his robots.

"Hang on!" Ulrich said as he and Kenny went to help him, getting the robot off of him.

"What the…!" Kenny yelled when he ends up getting electrocuted by a robot and sees the same marking on them.

"Hey!" He yelled as he kicks the robot off of him to the wall.

Kenny throws the robot on the ground before they ceased to attack.

"Your little friends are aggressive." Ulrich said. "Maybe you should check their settings."

"I had nothing to do with it." Jeremy denied, motioning to the robot he made. "They just attacked me all of the sudden."

"You lost me, do you mind explaining?" He inquired.

"No, forget it." Jeremy said.

"Come on, tell me! Maybe I can be of some help! What if you suddenly get attacked by a hairdryer and I'm not around?" Ulrich insisted.

"Yeah, like what's going on lately?" Kenny added.

"Ha, very funny." Jeremy scoffed.

"I'm not leaving this room until I know what's up." Ulrich said, sitting on his chair.

"How about the marking from the caffeine vending machine and the robot as well?" Kenny recalled. "It's obvious that somebody or something is targeting you."

Jeremy pondered for a moment until he's ready to tell them.

"Okay, what do I got to lose?" He said. "I'm already in over my head so I might as well tell you. This is so crazy." He went to the door and closes so no one can hear them. "First, tell me if you two can keep a secret."

"What secret?" Kenny inquired.

A few minutes later, They headed to the factory through the sewer.

"That tunnel in the gym is a great way to beat curfew." Ulrich remarked.

"Yeah, and there's another one on the campus as well." Jeremy said.

"Now who would've thought that they lead right to the factory?" Kenny said, rhetorically.

They reached to the ropes and Jeremy grabbed the rope and slid down to the ground below.

"What's the matter? Scared of heights?" He asked.

"Uh…no…" He hesitated before grab the rope and slid down.

"Might as well go with it." Kenny grabbed the rope and slid down to follow them.

They headed to the elevator and pressed down to the lab.

"Okay, so that's the mega computer you started up?" Ulrich said.

"Uh-huh, it's actually a supercomputer." Jeremy corrected him. "It's ultra-powerful and while I was examining, I found out that it runs a virtual world called Lyoko.

"Lyoko?" Kenny said.

"Yeah, that's what it called." He said.

"You know what, Belpois? This morning's electric shock fried your brain." Ulrich said, thinking he's joking. "This thing is just a control center of the factory. That's all."

"Oh yeah?" Jeremy said, showing the interface of 'Maya'. "And what would you call this, huh? A program for spray-painting doors?"

"Hello, Jeremy." She greeted them.

"Who's the girl with the pink hair?!" Ulrich asked.

"That's Maya, a form of artificial intelligence who lives on Lyoko." Jeremy explained. "I don't know what she's there for yet."

"Don't mess with me, you programmed her, right?" He said.

"No, I woke up the moment that Jeremy restarted the supercomputer, I don't know who I am." 'Maya' explained. "My memory has been erased."

"So, you don't even remember how you were in this Lyoko?" Kenny asked.

"No, not at all." She answered.

"Maya has to hide in some kind of a tower." Jeremy said, "As soon as she leaves it, she gets attacked by monsters. You've gotta believe me, you two. This is an incredible discovery!"

"Let's say it is what if…" Ulrich guessed. "What if it's some kind of giant video game?"

"Then it's a dangerous game." He said.

"How dangerous the game might be, Belpois?" Kenny asked.

"Well, my robots are programmed just to go and fetched the ball and they just kill me." Jeremy recalled. "Don't forget, you saw them! What's more, the moment they attacked, a kind of logo appeared on my computer screen. The same one that the monsters had on Lyoko."

"Bitter and better, do you mean that the virtual thing that attacked Maya also wants to kill you?" Ulrich said, processing.

"That's what it looks like." He answered.

"Then why would something from Lyoko would tried to kill you? Did you do something to make it angry at you?" Kenny questioned.

"I don't know why would it but I'm gonna find out why." Jeremy said.

"If that's dangerous, I think you should shut it down and call the police." Ulrich advised him.

"Okay, but first, I want to help Maya to understand what she's doing on Lyoko." He insisted.

"Say what?" He inquired.

"What do you mean?" Kenny said.

"I really do and if I'm right, we can materialize her right here on earth." Jeremy said.

"That's too much, what makes you think you can?" Ulrich questioned.

"You'll see, Stern." He said.

At Sissi's room, she is getting ready to tell Ulrich about something she wanted to tell him.

"This one is absolutely perfect!" She said, holding a red dress. "Tonight, Ulrich dear, you're all mine!"

Back at the factory, they're in the scanner rooms with three scanners.

"What's all this?" Ulrich asked.

"Scanners." Jeremy answered. "I still haven't found the program that can bring Maya back to earth but I dug up the one which allows someone to be scanned and sent to Lyoko." He explained as Ulrich and Kenny looked around the scanner. "In fact, the Supercomputer analyses your molecular structure through these cabins, and then breaks down your atoms before digitalizing them, and re-creating a digital incarnation in the virtual world!"

"Hmph, in English?" He said.

"You go inside the cabin; you're teleported to the virtual world." Jeremy clarified.

"Jeremy, these don't exist yet." Ulrich said, doubted. "There's no way."

"You still don't believe me."

"I would love to but virtualization is straight out of science fiction." Ulrich said.

"And you expect us to believe that?" Kenny stated.

They see Jeremy sat in the scanner.

"Why don't we try it out?" He said. "That way you two can see for yourself, but we're gonna need a guinea pig."

"But where do we find a guinea pig?" Kenny asked.

"A guinea pig, no problem…" Ulrich pondered.

Back at the Kadic, Kenny and Ulrich went to his room where Odd is fast asleep.

"What's that dog doing here in Kadic?" Kenny asked, softly.

"Long story." Ulrich whispered him before turning to Kiwi. "We've got a surprise for you, doggie. You're going to be virtualized!"

In Sissi's room, She is still waiting for Ulrich and grows impatient that he never shows up. She took out her cellphone and makes a call.

Back at his room, Ulrich took Kiwi, silently while Kenny is peeking out from the doorway, making sure the coast is clear. Ulrich's cellphone rang, giving away their position and ran off as Odd waked up from the ringtone noise.

"Hey?!" Odd gets up from his bed and ran after them.

Sissi hangs up from her phone and decided to confront him. As she makes a turn to a corner, Ulrich and Kenny rushed past her an Odd bumped into her. They got up and went after them.

"Hey! Come back!" He yelled as he goes down the stairs.

"Wait up!" Sissi said as she follows them.

They head to the boiler room as Sissi and Odd chases after them and saw them going down the tunnel.

"Where are they going?" She asked. "I'm sure there's another girl behind all this!"

"No look, it's not a girl. It's Kiwi, my dog!" He told her, causing her to faint.

At the factory, they reached the elevator with Kiwi after running from them. Ulrich pressed the button, causing the elevator to go down, but Odd and Sissi got there too late when the elevator goes down.

"But why did they take Kiwi to this factory?" Odd wondered.

"Who knows? Maybe they wants to use him for some sort of horrible science experiment!" Sissi guessed.

"You watch too many horror movies!" He said.

"Yeah, you're right, that was pretty dumb." She said. "It's probably more like some sort of ritual sacrifice or voodoo thing!"

Odd sighed at her superstition statement.

At the scanner room they put Kiwi in one of the scanners.

"Nice puppy, don't move." Ulrich said to the dog.

"Just stay, dog." Kenny said before he and Ulrich used the ladder to climb up to the lab.

Odd and Sissi used the ladder bar to climb down to the scanner room.

Meanwhile, Jeremy is sitting on the chair, reading and studying how the supercomputer works while waiting Ulrich and Kenny before they reached the lab

"Everything's cool, Jeremy." Ulrich said. "The mutt is in the scanner."

"Okay, let's see how it goes." Jeremy said, touching the keyboard. "It's not gonna be a piece of cake."

Odd jumped down to the elevator and then Sissi, who barely jumped down and they arrived in the scanner room.

"Those things look like coffins..." He said.

"You're right! Maybe it's the tomb of an Egyptian pharaoh, huh?" Sissi said.

"We're all set." Jeremy said, starting up the virtualization process. "I'm starting up the procedure."

"Kiwi! Are you okay, boy?!" Odd said, found his dog.

Jeremy pressed the enter button, finishing the startup procedures.

"Hey!" Odd said as Kiwi jumped out of him before the scanner closed him in.

"Oh no! You're going to be mummified!" Sissi cried while Kiwi tried to get in.

"Transfer, guinea pig." Jeremy said, pressing the button. "Scanner, guinea pig. Huh? Ah…wait…that's a weird-looking dog!" The interface shows the image scanner that looks almost Odd.

"That's no dog, that's Odd Della Robbia!" Ulrich exclaimed.

"He must've followed us here!" Kenny said. "Jeremy, you've got to stop this procedure!"

"Uh, I don't know how to stop it!" He panicked.

"HELP!" They heard a panicked scream.

"Now what?" Kenny said.

Ulrich and Kenny went down to the scanner room.

"Man!" Ulrich groaned.

In Lyoko, Odd is virtualized in the forest sector and have taken an appearance of cat-man with cat paws and long tail.

"Ouch!" He said after being dropped to the ground. "What's going on around here? Where am I?" He looked around the area and seeing his hands. "Huh?! Huh? And why am I dressed up like a giant purple cat?!"

"Uh, Odd Della Robbia?" Jeremy said while he check himself.

"Uh, who's calling me?!" He yelped as he looked up, but nothing.

"It's me, Jeremy Belpois." He said.

"Is this a joke or something?" Odd asked.

"Uh, no." Jeremy answered.

Back at the scanner room, Ulrich and Kenny landed there and saw Sissi and Kiwi by the scanner that Odd is in.

"Sissi?!" Ulrich said.

"Oh, Ulrich!" Sissi said.

"Ulrich, Kenny, it's okay! Odd is safe and sound on Lyoko!" Jeremy said.

"Am I…in a video game? It looks like the set for Babylon Ninja Fighters III!" Odd said.

"Actually, I don't really know. It's a virtual world, that much I'm sure of." Jeremy told him.

"Cool!" He said before being shot in the back. "Urgh!"

He looked backed and saw the same creature that attacked 'Maya' and they're heading towards him.

"Uh, that's a lot less cool." He said, taken back.

"Uh, there are these giant cockroaches attacking me, is that normal?" Odd asked while Jeremy typed on the keyboard.

"Yeah…" Jeremy answered as he looked at the map interface with Odd and two monsters in it.

"Oh, nothing to worry about then!" He hoped.

"That's not what I meant! You gotta get out of there!" Jeremy warned him.

"Ulrich, Kenny! Della Robbia is in danger!" He told them. "And I need time to de-virtualize him. I-I don't know what to do!"

"He needs help! Do you think you can send Sissi, Kenny, and me to Lyoko as well?" Ulrich asked as Kenny and Sissi looked at him.

"I can always try." Jeremy said.

"What? Send us where, Ulrich?" She questioned.

"To a virtual world where weird monsters want to massacre you. You wanted to go out with me, now's your chance!" Ulrich said.

"No thanks, uh…I prefer real worlds, I'm not into the other kind." She declined as Ulrich and Kenny went to the scanner. "Plus, I couldn't possibly miss cheerleading practice tomorrow morning!"

"See ya, chicken!" He said to her.

"Suit yourself, then." Kenny said before mumbling. "I hope this works."

"Jeremy, we're good to go!" He called to him.

"Okay, I'm starting a procedure." Jeremy said as the scanners closed them in when he starts up the procedures. "Transfer, Ulrich, Transfer, Kenny!" The scanner is starting up.

"Scanner, Ulrich, Scanner, Kenny! Virtualization!" He virtualized them to the Lyoko but unaware the wires and cables are exhibiting the static electricity beside him.

"Odd, hang in there!" Jeremy told him as he rans from the monsters. "Ulrich Stern and Kenny Chan are on their way to give you a hand."

"Great, I was starting to get bored here all alone." Odd said when he sees Ulrich and Kenny being virtualized and dropped to the ground.

"Ouch!"

"Ohh!"

They got up from their landing and look around before themselves. Ulrich has taken appearance of a samurai and had a saber/sword on his waist and Kenny has taken appearance of a mad scientist, wearing a white lab coat, his right metal gloves while he has a cog-shaped saw blade as his left hand, red goggles, cog armbands in both sides and black boots.

"Wow, this sword rocks!" Ulrich said, swinging his sword.

"I look just like Dr. Shrank, except being part robotic." Kenny said, checking himself.

"Hey that's not fair! How come they get to be a samurai and mad doctor? That's so much cooler!" Odd exclaimed.

"I have no idea why." Jeremy said. "Maybe the computer just reads into your own subconscious desires and projects them onto your digital incarnation."

"I don't dream about giant purple cats! What's more, I'd rather have a weapon like Ulrich, not these great big useless paws!" He slapped his paws and inadvertently fires a laser arrow that barely misses them and flies off into the distance.

"Hey, watch out!" Ulrich said.

"What was that?" Kenny asked.

"Hm…these arrows are pretty cool. I take back what I said!" Odd said, having a second thought.

The elevator opens as Sissi and Kiwi enters the lab.

"Hugh, wow!" She said, amazed.

"Try to hook up with Maya in her tower." Jeremy told them. "Hold on, I'm sending you the coordinates."

"Who's this Maya? and what is that thing?" She asked.

"It's-it's the mainframe of the supercomputer." He explains to her before the screen becomes static, showing the same icon that attacked Jeremy. "Ugh!" He yelped seeing the same icon.

They see where Kiwi is barking at something as the wires and cables is acting up.

"AAHHHH!" Sissi screamed as the cables is sprouting out of the ground as if they have mind of its own.

Ulrich, Kenny, and Odd is walking to the forest sector, looking for 'Maya'.

"Who's this Maya?" Odd asked.

"A virtual girl who lives on Lyoko." Ulrich answered.

"Oh, you mean there are babes here too? Great!" He said.

"Yes, but I get the impression that Belpois' flipped for her." Ulrich said.

"For a virtual chick? Is he nuts?" Odd questioned.

"Kinda…" He said. "Jeremy, are you gonna send us the coordinates or not?"

"Jeremy, are you asleep or what?" Odd asked while Jeremy took cover behind the seat from the cable-like monster.

"Sic 'em I said, sic 'em you dumb mutt!" Sissi urged Kiwi to attack but the crippling sound shocked and Jeremy's yelped.

"What's taking him so long to answer?" Kenny said. "And how can we find Maya?"

"Huh? Look, a tower!" Odd pointed at the tower. "It could be that one."

"Hmm, looks like it." He said.

They head to the tower and stopped by it.

"Is there a door?" Odd said, touch the tower before he phased through. "Whoaaaahh!"

Odd slipped through the tower entrance, but he falls down and managed grab on the platform. Ulrich phased through, falls down and grabbed Odd's legs.

"Guys- Whoa!" Kenny said when falls down and grabbed Ulrich's leg.

"Can't hold on much longer! You guys are heavy!" He said as he's about to lose his grip on the platform. "Dropped your saber!"

"Nice try, but forget it!" Ulrich said.

"Uh guys, I think we're about to fall…" Kenny said, before Odd lose his grip, sending them falling. "DOOOOWWWN!"

"WAHHHH!" Ulrich screamed.

"AHHHHH!" Odd screamed as well.

After they fall inside the tower, they emerged from the tower in the ice sector.

"Ok, right…where are we? Where did the Forest go?" Odd questioned.

"How should I know?" Ulrich retorted.

"I think we landed in some kind of polar caps or something." Kenny said, observing.

"There's a tower over there! Weird how it's not the same color." He noted.

They look at the tower that the aura is covered in red.

"I wondered what does that mean?" Kenny pondered.

"And those creatures? They're kind of weird." Odd said, looking at four creatures that has the shape of cube with eye symbols in each side.

One of the cube monsters is glowing as it was charging up to fire.

"It might a good thing to beat it, don't you think?" Ulrich said.

"Mm-hmm." Odd said before their shot is fired.

"Look out!" Kenny shouted.

They ran from then as the cube monsters fires the lasers at them.

Back at the Factory, Sissi is backed against the elevator while held up Kiwi in defense while Jeremy is attacked by cable monster when he was picked up and hold up the metal plates to protect him, but ends up electrocuted by it.

Kenny, Ulrich, and Odd is surrounded by cube monsters as they look at them, waiting for them to make their move. The cube monster is firing a laser at Ulrich, deflected from it. Another was firing at Kenny who shielded from the blast with his saw blade.

The cube monster rotates its and fires an ice beam at them, who they dodged from it.

The cube monster fires at Odd, but Ulrich intercepts it using speed.

Ulrich deflects the lasers from two monster while Odd uses his energy shield from it. Kenny deflects the laser from it as they back against each other.

Ulrich dashed to the monster, jumping up and landed on top of it before slashing it away but proves to be unaffected by his blows. He jumped back to regroup with the others. The monster fires the laser at them, but Ulrich deflects it.

"So how do you kill these things?" Ulrich asked.

"I wish I knew." Odd said, aiming his laser arrow. "Hey, you wouldn't know how many life points we have?"

"No!" He said while deflecting the lasers before Odd is hit, de-virtualizing him.

"Odd!" Kenny yelled before being blasted in his shoulder, causing cog saw blade to shoot the energy cogs at the cube monster, destroying the eye marking and itself. "Hugh, that's it! Ulrich, aim at their eye! That must be their weak spot!" He said before being de-virtualized by their lasers.

"No!" Ulrich said, before dashing to the cube monster, jumps to aim at the eye marking, and stabbing it before jumping away as it explodes. "Yes!" He said, victoriously before he was de-virtualized by cube monsters.

The scanner opens for Ulrich, who was exhausted from the blast.

"Great, at least we're alive." Ulrich said, rubbing his back of the neck.
