Angel: A New Year is almost among us, guys! Hopefully next year, I can get better at my workload (even though I am doing 2 schools, and I have to find a job, so...I'm screwed in terms of time management). I hope to do Regular Show and the third Sonic movie, and some other movies too I keep putting off. I can't really say when exactly I'll do any of these projects, because I am going to be more busy starting January. But hopefully I can make it work. Oh and I have to fit in Dr. Stone season 4 as well. I will...attempt to get out the new Dr. Stone episodes as they come out because I know I have people who want to read them. Emphasis on attempt, because a lot of my time is going towards life changes nowadays. Still excited to see the episodes when they're released, but I am sad at the same time that Dr. Stone is ending.
And thank you to the loyal people that have stuck with me throughout me putting off projects constantly, because I know I've tried other people's patience in the past with how I've handled my stories for the past year or so XD
I've heard that the final season of My Hero Academia is coming out in the fall next year, so hopefully it stays that way, therefore I don't have to continuously work on 2 anime at the same time. At best, it looks like I'll be done with season 7 by mid-February to early March if I had to estimate, I currently write 4 episodes in one go a week. Because right now, I am almost done with season 6 that needs to be proofread entirely. And the fourth movie should be written before the last season comes out if it does get released online before fall. But don't expect me to spoil season 6 for the curious ones, because I'm not~
Back in mainland Japan, the Heroes Public Safety Commission and Hawks were having a meeting. "There have been a disturbing number of assaults on heroes over the past week..." One of the members murmured in a bit of dismay, as a map showed how many heroes had been attacked. "Each of the victims was knocked unconscious, and worse, they all lost their Quirks. And of course, we know that Shigaraki has acquired a Quirk-erasing drug that's designed by a yakuza group."
"Have we learned whether their attempts to mass-produce the drug have been successful yet?" The president rubbed her chin in thought.
"No, we haven't," Hawks informed with a small frown. "Although we know that once they are...their first victim will be a UA student from the hero course," He narrowed his eyes a little, as he was able to get the information that they had Izuka's DNA, but failed to make anything out of it.
"We need that intel," The man frowned, crossing his arms. "Your secret investigation-"
"Has anyone considered the possibility that their Quirks were stolen?" Hawks interrupted, and had a very serious look on his face.
"Stolen...?"
"The people targeted were all heroes, right?" Hawks pointed out to them. "So whatever their individual Quirks were, I assume they were pretty useful ones. So...what if we're looking for somebody who's like All for One? A person who has the ability to steal their people's powers..."
"That would be unfortunate," The president gave a grim look; they did not need another All for One out there...
"Well, either way, we know that Shigaraki is involved," Hawks then opened the door, looking back with a small smile. "I'll look into both possibilities and see what I can dig up."
"So, what happened to the cargo anyway?" Himiko wondered curiously once her fellow members were back. She then let out a groan, touching her cheek. "Those jerk-face heroes didn't get their hands on it, did they?"
"No," Dabi answered for her. "We've confirmed it's not in their possession."
"I can't help but wonder...what was it that we were carrying?" Mr. Compress questioned the two of them, since they weren't given many details on what was in the trunk. They were just told to transport it, and that was all.
"According to Doctor, that's not something we need to know," Shigaraki informed them all, as he didn't look too concerned about it.
"That's hardly fair!" Spinner protested after hearing this.
"Yeah!" Twice agreed with him. "We're good enough to move it, but not to know what it is?!"
"Well, now I wanna know even more," Himiko whined a little, tapping her chin.
"Just forget about the cargo, got it?" Shigaraki got onto his feet, as he didn't care.
"Understood!" Twice saluted to the leader. "Not gonna happen!"
Shigaraki closed the door after heading for outside.
"Tomura Shigaraki..." The doctor was on a video call with him regarding the cargo. "No need to involve yourself any further. Just put it out of mind..."
Doctor... He put his hand accessory over his face, walking up ahead. He decided to leave the subject for now...
A man was heading home in a truck. "You'll be home in ten days, right?" Mahoro's voice came from a device as their father listened with a smile. "That's not too long!" They had recorded a goodbye message for him.
"I love you, Daddy!" Katsuma waved with a happy smile. "I hope you're having fun at work!"
"And don't worry about us!" Mahoro waved to him as well. "Everything's just fine here! I'll take real good care of Katsuma until you get back!"
"Hm...I'm sure you will. Well, kids, you be good. Maybe when I get home..." He faltered at something up ahead. Something landed in front of his truck, revealed to be a wolf-like humanoid. Before Mr. Shimano had time to react, the wolf humanoid used his fist to knock the truck backwards, the glass breaking into pieces. Mr. Shimano grunted as he landed on the road, his body twitching as he looked up. He looked to the side to see three other villains in front of him. Their leader Nine walked up, wearing a mask over his face.
"I finally found it..." His eyes glowed a little.
"What...?" Mr. Shimano was very confused as the villain analyzed his body with his eyes. "What do you mean...?"
"Don't worry," Nine spoke up eerily, the man looking up at him in fear. "I won't kill you," He bent down to grasp Mr. Shimano's head, and he could only shake in terror. "But...I will take your Quirk," Something blue came from Mr. Shimano and went towards the villain. Mr. Shimano couldn't do anything to stop it as he suddenly felt weak. Nine lifted him up by the head, the blue-green energy surrounding them both. The energy then stopped and Mr. Shimano fell to the ground unconscious. The leader lifted up his hand, swinging it down as thunder and lightning came from the skies. Behind him, buildings started to sink. Nine looked back and held out his hand to control the cloudy skies. They traveled down the street to hit the ground, causing explosions. More lightning continued to hit the buildings, causing them to burn. Soon, the whole city was engulfed in a blaze.
"At last...we have what we need," The wolf-like man clenched a fist.
"Our dream...will become a reality," A man with a red mask stated with wide eyes.
"The new world that we fought to build..." A woman with long red hair held out her arms. "I can almost see it!" The leader held out his hands as they watched the chaos unfold. Something suddenly struck inside his body, causing him to kneel in pain. The woman gasped and ran over to him. "What's the matter?" The man with the red mask ran over in concern.
"No..." Nine gasped out, touching his face. "Why...?" He looked at his hands as something felt off to him. "It doesn't work on Type B blood...?"
The man with the red mask flinched at the news. "You're kidding!"
"After all this work, we're back at square one?!" The wolf-like man snarled in anger. "Damn it!"
"No...there's still a chance," The woman spoke up as she held up the phone from Mr. Shimano...which still had Mahoro and Katsuma's images on it.
"I love you, Daddy! I hope you're having fun at work!" Katsuma smiled, waving his hands.
"...You're right," The leader murmured as the message continued. "Because Quirks...are hereditary," He stared at both of the children...
"What are you tagging along for, Deku?!" Katsuki screamed while using his explosions to move. He was holding Katsuma, who was terrified for his life. Izuka was flying her brother on a flying star as he held her waist, both of them behind him.
"Cause if there really is a villain, you need backup!" Izuku called out as Izuka scoped the area up ahead.
"Like I'd ever need help from you!" He shouted back, flying up so high that Katsuma's hat flew off.
"Idiot," Izuka grunted, though Izuku noticed that Katsuki wasn't protesting from her presence...
"Hey, where is the damn villain anyway?" He snarled to the little boy.
"Um, over there, in the castle ruins!" Katsuma pointed up ahead.
"You could've told me that sooner!" Katsuki yelled and picked up speed, Katsuma screaming in terror.
"If you're gonna rush in, at least put him down!" Izuka hollered after him, grunting and speeding up as well. Izuku yelped as he hugged her tighter. He could tell that she usually didn't go that fast, but Katsuki was making it hard...
"That's it!" Katsuma confirmed once they reached the mountain with the abandoned castle. Once they landed, up ahead was a giant insect villain.
"Go hide!" Katsuki tossed Katsuma away, which Izuka faintly saw. She gasped as she dove in.
"Katsuma!" Izuku shouted as he jumped off of her flying star, his energy sparking from his body. Katsuki used his explosions to fly towards the villain.
"Stun Grenade!" He sent a bunch of light into the villain's face, only for it to not react. This immediately got his attention as the villain raised an arm, heading towards him.
"Kacchan!" Izuku ran up to Katsuma watching as Izuka appeared right behind them. For some reason, Katsuki did not react to the attack. The girl blinked in surprise that he wasn't doing anything, and then the villain apparently knocked him into the ground. The three all looked up ahead in worry...only for Katsuki to step out of the arm unharmed. He swung his arm into the ground, sending out a huge explosion. Mahoro yelped as she was revealed, holding her hat.
"Ow!" She yelped and the villain disappeared into thin air.
"It's gone..." Izuku murmured in confusion, wondering what just happened.
"Hey, that hurt," Mahoro rubbed the top of her head in pain. "No fair...that thing was way scary and you just stood there!"
"Uh! Her again..." Izuku recognized the little girl immediately.
"What is it this time?" Izuka sighed, crossing her arms. "Trying to scare us so that we'd run away?"
"So..." Katsuki stood in front of the little girl. "I'm guessing you're the idiot who made that illusion?"
She yelped that he was able to guess, looking away a bit nervously. "Um, how did you know that it was an illusion?"
"Cause I'm not stupid!" He retorted back, remembering that if the villain really was that big, it would have a shadow to cast onto the sand. "It didn't have a shadow! So, you little brat...is taunting heroes a hobby of yours? Well?!" She looked up with terrified wide eyes, unable to answer as she backed away in fear. Because Katsuki looked SUPER PISSED that he didn't get to fight a real villain and that they tricked him. "Your cheap tricks won't work on me, cause I'm not like any hero you've met before! You're looking at the next number one, the guy who'll be better than All Might was in his day! The name's Katsuki Bakugo! I'm telling you right now, you picked the wrong person to mess with!"
Katsuma approached him anxiously. "Um, please don't yell at my big sister, sir!"
"Huh?!" Katsuki demanded as he turned around. Katsuma yelped in terror to see the look on his face. "You were in on this too, weren't you?! Come here!"
"Stop, they're just kids, Kacchan!" Izuku protested as he and Izuka held him back.
"Get your damn hands off me before I break 'em!" He shouted, moving his elbows into their chins.
"I'll break you before you even touch them!" Izuka yelled as the two knocked him into the ground. Part of her was annoyed at Mahoro doing this, yes, but that didn't mean she wanted Katsuki to possibly kill them...
"Just be glad it wasn't a real villain!" Izuku tried to reason with him, to no avail.
Mahoro ran over to her brother, grabbing his hand. "Come on!" She urged while the boy looked back at the three.
"This lame crap is why kids are such brats these days!" Katsuki looked up and crawled towards them. "Where do you think you're going, huh?!" He then let out a yelp as Izuku covered his hands. Izuka held back his arms as he struggled.
"We told you to leave them alone!" Izuku yelled at his childhood friend as the two kids got away.
"You think I care?! I don't take orders from you!" Katsuki screamed into their faces.
"Oh wait, I know!" Izuku then winced as he hoped he didn't get killed for this. He grabbed the back of Katsuki's head and Izuka's smaller ponytail. "I'm so sorry about this."
"Hey, what are you-" Izuku then pushed their heads together...to make them kiss. Izuka and Katsuki immediately looked at each other wide-eyed. The girl moved away with a scream as she backed away, her face completely red. Katsuki's was as well as he completely shut down, smoke coming from his head. He then fell to the ground and Izuka covered her eyes in embarrassment. Izuku looked down at Katsuki, who wasn't moving.
"I think he's out," Izuku stared down at the boy. Izuka took a deep breath and then looked up at her brother angrily.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" She punched Izuku in the arm hard and he yelped from the hit. He rubbed his arm in pain. "So it's too awkward already that we've kissed before, but it's okay when you force it onto us?!"
"Wait, you two kissed before?!" Izuku looked at her in shock and she flinched, pinching her nose and groaning.
"That's not the point..." She had almost forgotten she never told him about the School Festival kiss...
"Jeez, what's up with that Bakugo guy?" Mahoro complained while she and Katsuma were hiding, not knowing what happened. "Does he really think he's gonna be the number one hero someday? I mean, maybe if they were ranking based on who can act like the biggest jerk!"
Katsuma looked away with a small frown as he felt like she wasn't focusing on the fact that they even showed up. "I dunno, sis...he came to save us. And so did she, even though you two don't like each other."
Mahoro froze at the look on his face and then saw the Edgeshot pin over his bag. "...Do you really wanna be a hero that badly?" She couldn't help but wonder. He didn't respond and she turned away, upset that he was still focused on it. "I hope you don't. It's too dangerous. And besides, I know someone who's way cooler than any hero."
"Uh? You do?" He looked up at his big sister in confusion.
"Dad, silly!" She gave him a bright smile. "He's always looking out for us, you know? Protecting us from all the scary stuff out there," She took his hand as they got onto their feet. She then looked up at the sky with an optimistic smile. "That's what I want. For you to be cool like Daddy, not some dumb hero."
Even though she said this, he just...didn't feel the same way. And he didn't want to disappoint his sister, but he also didn't want to ignore his dream...
