All with a few simple words, laughs and a lot more Mirabel Valentina Rojas was something else and Miguel knew it but the young musician knew that ever since he met the raven haired Beauty not only had he got her as a best friend but a love to last more than a lifetime. Which was all a gift in itself and what led to this moment you may ask, Well that's still a mystery.
Right now he was secretly admiring her from afar as she played the most beautiful version of 'La Llorona' he had ever heard on the piano he really shouldn't be entranced by her voice but yet there he was standing like a complete idiot at that beautiful melody.
He obviously knew how talented she was. Sure but it had been five years and he'd never heard her sing and that he had he can honestly say that he has fallen more in love.
Pablo and Daphne were over the moon that their baby girl was singing and letting go of expectations finally. Her ability to change slowly was doing something wonderful for herself and now she had more confidence and control over her life not bottled up bieng stuck in the same place forever knowing she was finally free.
Imelda smirked looking over at her grandson knowing that he had fallen for Mira even harder and how she had changed his life in over five years, to be fair she has changed all their lives in an instant . It has been Amazing she surely liked to show her imagination and so many other things beyond what they ever thought possible.
Imelda did feel like she had a daughter again ever since meeting her she felt more comfortable and connected as it reminded her of Daphne and herself when they were younger and now it felt like their lives were complete.
"Enjoying the view Mijo?" Imelda chuckled looking up from her work
Miguel shook his head and turned to Imelda not knowing he was bieng watched and he turned red with embarrassment.
"I don't know what you're talking about ". He denied
"You know you can't lie to me or yourself I've never seen you like this before and it's very clear you're in love ". Imelda made her point
"I know that". Miguel sighed
"I don't think you do". Imelda sighed smiling
"Watching your eyes light up whenever Mira's around you every time is something we treasure we've seen your friendship turn into this and it's beautiful ". Imelda smirked
"Sounds bold coming from you". He joked
Imelda lightly slapped his arm at the joke and tease he made.
"I know because I had it with your Papá Héctor and still do it's really rare to find your best friend in this world and then to fall in love it's one of the greatest feelings in the world". Imelda smiled thinking of all the memories she made with her Héctor and still continues to do so
Miguel knew his grandmother had a point and he did see how much they loved each other but he didn't know they were best friends before any of the romantic things happened he found that surprising considering how strong and fiery his Mamá Imelda was.
"I don't think she'll wants this she's gotten her heart broken so many times that she shuts her heart out and besides it's me I would be surprised if she felt the same way". Miguel said
"That may be so but you've had 5 years of trust and loyalty built up in a friendship and that's more important than anything maybe she's wants this she's just Afraid to ask". Imelda shrugged
"Not to mention you've loved her since the moment you met and I get that; moving on from a friendship is risky but you'll never know unless you try and I have a feeling that this is something that shouldn't be let go so easily I've seen how happy you make her and how much she loves you." She adds
"You think?" Miguel turned to Imelda
"I know Mijo the look in her eyes is undeniable ". She stated clearly
Miguel was grateful for the advice she gave although he wasn't sure it would work considering if this worked they would move on to something more intimate and romantic things ( Not that they weren't uncomfortable with it.)
Miguel never thought he'd find someone who loved him with all strength she had and how creative, Talented and beautiful she was and so so sweet and crazy. Adventurous at heart yet that comforting love she had was addicting she had a way with his heart and soul and yet he didn't want to get away from her.

"Miguelito Mijo earth to Mijo?" Coco called waving her hand to get him out of his daze
Miguel shook his head and then turned to his Mamá Coco.
"Huh, Lo siento I was uh-" He drifted off forgetting what he was doing
"I was asking if you're okay that's all you look a bit red in the face". She pointed
Miguel immediately covered his face embarrassment and sighed. He then looked directly to where Mira was no longer at the piano but putting shoe boxes away so they stored just in case of emergency or getting mixed up.
Coco looked to where he was looking and then smiled she thought it was perfect and so precious she smirked softly at how red he was turning .
"Stop staring just Stop". He mumbled to himself
"I don't think That's going to work". Coco chuckled
"You think? Mamá Coco I look like a red tómate I look like an idiot". Miguel said
Coco smiled and sighed knowing she was right in the first place knowing he loved her from the very start and now he was flushed and flustered every time he thought of Mira .
"She's turned me into the biggest fool". He mumbled softly
"I know I see it in your eyes how much you love her". She put a hand to her phantom heart
Miguel sighed he knew he was smitten and that was driving him crazy. He felt his heart beat so loudly In his chest wherever she came near and yet time stood still as she watched her work with their family, God forbid if anything happened to her he would take a bullet for her.
"She needs to know". Coco sighed
"What? No this is crazy none of this would ever happen ". Miguel shook his head turning to his grandmother
"Not unless you gather the courage to ask Mijo ". Coco smiled
"Yeah it's not working ever". Miguel sighed
Coco smirked and walked away as she watched him turn red. Miguel couldn't think straight all of those idiots don't know what Mirabel is capable of they all call her the darling seamstress or the raven haired beauty and they were right but she was so much more than what they saw Miguel was the only one who saw all of her.
Every part of her personality her strengths and weaknesses and how much she worked hard for the life she wanted he was just lucky to be apart of It.
Unknown to him she was smirking watching him behind that songbook of his just so she didn't see how red he was turning.
As he came into the workshop putting extra leather away Mira smiled and sighed as she put away the sewing needles as she looked at him turning red a light blush across her cheeks and she couldn't help it.
"Keep going like that Migue you might as well turn as red as the cover of your songbook ". She snorted softly chuckling
He turned to her completely confused.
"Que?" He answers
Julio, Oscar and Felipe were watching as they worked and they smiled at the games the two played .
"Something tells me she's gonna catch him off guard ". Felipe whispered
"No doubt ". Julio says
"Like She always does I mean with the piano earlier I saw him just watching her with love and he looked smitten". Oscar points out
Meanwhile Mira was testing him she put down the box and smiled at him and he smiled back.
"Estas bien?" Mirabel Continued
"Si I just…" He drifted off
"You're all red in the face". She pointed to him
Miguel immediately turned away and sighed muttering to himself and Mirabel giggles softly at how he looked flustered.
"See What did I tell red as your songbook ". She had a sing song tone
"Someone's caught your eye ". She teased
Mirabel went back to her job smiling a light flush swept across her cheeks as she worked.

He let out a heavy sigh and chuckled watching Mira work from scratch as he looked at her with such stars in his eyes
