Chapter 82 The One Who Rebelled
I don't own Kamen Rider Kabuto or My Hero Academia
Shinji was now hanging out with Momo at the dorms with both sitting down at the couch.
"Shinji, i've been seeing that Eri and Stella have been getting along." She said.
"Yes, she always wanted a friend and Stella is almost her age." He said.
He was glad Eri now has a friend that can be with her.
"I also think hanging out with you Shinji has been a good experience." She blushes a bit.
He looks at her. "I can see your trying-"
"Hey!" Mina appeared behind the couch surprising them.
"Mina!" They said.
"Why are you getting so cozy together?" Mina narrows her eyes at Momo.
"I was just getting along with Shinji." She said.
Shinji sighs as Mina argues with Momo.
"I'll be going." He goes off.
The two looked at him. "Okay."
He changes into Kabuto and goes out to train.
"Better find a place. Those girls really need to be friendly than compete with each other."
Later at the forest Kabuto was training alone and he throws many punches into the air.
Someone watches him from a distance and was curious.
It was a extremely tall man, muscular, with a sharp jawline and side-swept fringe style dark-brown hair. He wears a sleek, form-fitting dark shirt, paired with a tattered yet elegant draped sash over one shoulder. His hands are wrapped with handwraps. For his lower body, he wears loose, practical pants. Finally, for footwear, he wears sturdy sandals.
The man watching is none other than Prometheus.
Prometheus has been observing the young hero for a while and his skills are great, almost reminding him of his friend.
Kabuto senses someone and looks back to see the man.
"Who... Who are you?" Kabuto said.
Prometheus placed a hand on his own chest, "I'm Prometheus."
"Prometheus? You mean the greek titan?" Kabuto said.
"That is correct." He nod, "And I've been seeing you for a while, as you battled through many rough battles."
"I see. Why come to the world of mortals?" Kabuto asked.
He looks up. "I've always been curious about the world and it's Heroes. The new generation of Heroes that are there to protect others."
Until he then frowned, "But then I saw some heroes have abused their powers, tarnishing the title."
"But i'm still sure some Heroes are good. Like All Might." Kabuto said.
"All Might... I did hear he was such a great hero, like my friend." said Prometheus looking up.
"Yes. He kept fighting despite his power vanishing." Kabuto said.
"A true hero at it's finest." nodded the god.
"My friends I have faith they are true Heroes too." Kabuto added.
"We shall see... They're still learning after all." said Prometheus.
"But why was I the one that caught your interest?" Kabuto asked.
"I saw potential in you. As you seem to be trying to make others be better."
"Oh yeah. Many quirkless are looked down upon others and I wanted them to know they can be great Heroes too." Kabuto said.
"That's good inspiring others to become strong heroes, is what a true hero is." said Prometheus.
"Thank you." Kabuto said
Kabuto was still stunned he's meeting a actual god.
"I wish to see more. If you need to learn more about being a hero I can assist." Prometheus said.
"Well thanks."
Kabuto wonders what could have made Prometheus to come to the mortal realm. There must be something more than just seeing the heroes but he's not going to annoy him about that.
"I will watch over your friends. Since they might have the potential to be heroes. The one with the explosive attitude might seem mean but I can see he has a good heart at least." Prometheus said.
"Yeah Bakugo is always with a short temper."
Kabuto already got used to him, he just wished he tonned it down more.
"But I can say Izuku has the best potential."
"Ah yes, your green haired friend. I saw him do his best trying to break through the one with fire and ice. He chose to help someone instead of just winning a fight." Prometheus smiles.
He can see that young Izuku has the potential, he wishes for him to go down the right path of a true hero.
"Give them a chance, my friends can be great heroes. I've seen them and they have good hearts as well." Kabuto said.
Prometheus nodded and it seems he cared about how his friends are seen more than just himself.
"I will have to leave now. But I will stay in touch." Prometheus walks away.
Kabuto stares at him as the god leaves the area. It wasn't the first higher being he saw, but it was interesting seeing one from history appear before him.
"The others won't believe this. But if Prometheus sees that humanity can still have great heroes now it can be good."
He looks up and if the gods are like mad or something then it's the future generation of heroes that can show them what it means to be true heroes.
"I better go back, maybe the girls calmed down more." He walks back.
He then takes out a phone and sees a picture of Brandon. He still visits the guy after the battle last time. Since he was not a bad kid. He just needed someone for him.
"I just hope I can help you Brandon."
He kept going back to the dorm as theres still many other things he had to do. The comics are still out there and he heard Bakugo and Shoto have to do they're tests again to get they're licenses.
"They better get them, or i'm coming after them if they fail again."
Kabuto will make sure to teach them a lesson since he doesn't like dealing with idiots that can't do a simple job.
"As my father would say: Always try your best. Even if you fail once you can rise again."
Note: Heres a surprise, a different Record of Ragnarok character, Prometheus appeared here being the only one from the series of Ragnarok without being a mortal or Buddha, since he cares about humanity.
