Rocks. The first thing entering Danny's mind, as Richard and he slowly walked towards the entrance of Pewter City, was rocks. They were everywhere. There was even a platform made of rocks. A man was standing on it, with a carpet on the ground. He was selling, you wouldn't believe it, rocks.
"I get that some cities specialize in a special kind of food or maybe flowers, but rocks? I wouldn't want to live here", Danny stated.
He half expected a little growl, only to remember Charmander and Squirtle were safely in their Pokéballs. They had agreed they would keep their Pokémon inside their Pokéballs when they entered a larger city, to avoid accidents or missing Pokémon.
Richard nodded. "The Gym Leader uses Rock-types as well. Any idea on how to deal with that?", he asked.
Danny sighed. "I have no idea. I can't use Beedrill or Charmander, those Rock-types have the advantage. That leaves me with Abra."
"If we're being honest, I don't think Abra is up for the task", Richard said.
Danny sighed. "Yeah, you're right. I need to come up with a good strategy. I don't stand a chance type-wise."
A loud cry intervened with their thoughts. It came from behind them, near the edge of Viridian Forest.
"That sounded like a person," Danny said, a bit panicked.
A second cry followed, this time it was more animal-like. Like a Pokémon.
"Someone or something is in trouble, let's go help!" Richard ran back, followed by Danny.
Between the trees they could see a little boy, standing on a large rock. He was holding a Cubone in his arms. When the two trainers came closer, they saw why the kid was so afraid: the two were surrounded by Grass-type Pokémon. None of them looked friendly.
"Please, help me!", the boy continued his screams of fear. Cubone cried for help as well. The Grass-type attackers hadn't noticed the newcomers just yet and continued their attacks. They tried to grab the boy with vines and drag him down. And they were slowly succeeding.
Danny felt blood boiling inside him. "Charmander, come out!"
At last, the wild Pokémon realised they weren't alone anymore, but before they could move Danny had ordered Charmander to use Ember on them.
The embers Charmander spit from his beak hit a few Grass-types and scared many more away. Only two Pokémon were brave enough to stand their ground: A Bellsprout and an Oddish, both of whom attacked back.
"Charmander, dodge that Vine Whip!" Bellsprout's attack missed, but the Acid attack Oddish had used did hit and made the fire lizard fall down.
"Are you okay, Charmander?", Danny asked. Even though he was angry with those two Pokémon, the care for his Pokémon was of more importance.
"Danny, Charmander can't handle both of them!" Richard said and released Sandshrew from its Pokéball.
"Richard, what are you doing? Sandshrew is weak to the Grass attacks?", Danny exclaimed, a bit panicked.
"But strong against Poison-types", Richard winked, to which Danny could only react with a smile. That Acid attack from Oddish would barely scratch Sandshrew.
"Charmander, use Ember again! Focus on the Bellsprout."
"Sandshrew, use Rollout."
Both attacks connected and gave the wild Grass-types trouble. Bellsprout took the hardest hit but was more than determined to continue. Oddish was hit with a Rollout that made it fall, but not hard enough for it to stay down. But one thing was sure: neither of them could take another hit like that.
Both got ready to attack again.
Danny and Richard looked at each other and nodded in understanding. "Charmander, grab Bellsprout's vines!"
"Sandshrew, block the Acid attack!"
"Charmander."
"Sandshrew."
"Take them out!", they ordered together.
Both Pokémon charged forward and bashed into the Grass-types, knocking them out.
Richard quickly ran towards the boy.
"Are you okay?"
The boy wiped away some tears. "Yeah, we're fine. Thanks for saving Cubone and me."
Richard waved it away. "Don't mention it, what happened?"
"Those Grass-types ambushed us while we had our daily walk. I guess we wandered off into the forest a bit too much."
"I'm sorry it happened to you. Hopefully, they won't come back again. It was good training though, right Danny?"
"What did you say?", Danny asked while walking towards them.
Richard shook his head. 'Never mind. We are heading towards the Pokémon Center. I guess you are heading to Pewter City as well?"
The boy nodded.
"Well, tag along then", Danny suggested.
"What did those Pokémon want with you anyway?", Danny asked while walking into the city.
Pewter City wasn't much smaller than Viridian, but it wasn't as busy. People didn't seem to be as friendly and cheerful as the people of Viridian. It's almost like their behaviour mimicked the rocks they hold so dear, cold, and distant. So while they walked, no-one greeted them or even acknowledged they were there.
"I don't know, they just came after me for some reason", the boy answered. "I'm Salvadore by the way. When I turn 15, I will go on a journey myself and officially capture Cubone." Cubone nodded in approval.
"Nice to meet you, Salvadore. I'm Richard and this is Danny."
"So, you want to be a trainer?", Danny asked.
Salvadore nodded heavily. "For sure! It has been my dream for as long as I can remember. Two of my brothers are trainers and they have really strong Pokémon. I hope that, someday, Cubone and I will be as strong as they are."
Danny smiled. "Going on a journey was one of my biggest desires as well. If you keep pursuing that dream, I'm sure you'll achieve it in no time. How old are you now?"
"13, so only two more years of waiting." Salvadore's voice grew excited.
"Then I might even have to battle you", Danny said with a wink. "Do you mind if I register Cubone in my Pokédex?"
Salvadore's eyes widened. "You have a Pokédex? Wow! Sure, you can register him."
A Ground-TypePokémon, Cubone. Cubone has earned its classification as the Lonely Pokémon from its usual attitude of caring only for itself.
"That doesn't sound like your Cubone", Danny said.
"I know. But Cubone and I have learned to take care of each other. That's what makes us such a good team."
Richard looked from Salvadore to Danny and back and thought to himself that these two boys didn't differ that much. Both were enthusiastic and shared a close bond with their Pokémon.
"We're going to eat something, do you want to come along?", Richard asked.
"We are?", Danny asked disappointed, preferring to go towards the Gym immediately. He was quickly silenced by Richard's looks.
"Thanks for the offer, but I think my older brother is getting worried." Salvadore waved goodbye and started walking into a different direction. "Bye, and thanks again for saving me!"
Danny and Richard decided to have a quick dinner. It had been a long day for the two, but Danny still hoped he would be able to challenge the Gym. His hopes were quickly crushed when he ended up facing a closed door.
"At least we know where the Gym is", Richard said, but Danny wasn't in the mood.
Richard got a bit annoyed. "Why do you want to battle already? Isn't it nice to enjoy the cities you visit along the way?"
"Yeah, I guess, I'm just nervous for the Gym. Best to get it over with as quickly as possible." Danny hated to admit it, but the Gym had crossed his mind the second he saw Pewter City. He wouldn't have minded getting lost some more in the forest, even though he knew it was only delaying the inevitable.
And if what he remembered from the games was true here, he was up for a tough task. Usually when he picked Charmander in the games, he made sure to capture a Nidoran or Mankey along the way. But he hadn't seen either of them.
"I'm sure it will be fine", Richard said to try and make Danny feel better.
They spend their evening wandering through the abandoned streets of Pewter City before going to bed. Danny had trouble falling asleep. He was in a constant half-sleep state in which he saw the same thing happen over and over again: his Pokémon getting defeated by Brock.
When he woke the next day, he realised he did sleep a few hours, but it wasn't nearly enough in his opinion.
"This guide says there are two major places of interest in this city. You got the Gym and the Museum of Science. I'm quite interested in the last one."
"Guide?", Danny asked surprised. "Where did you get that?"
"I bought it in Viridian when you were running like crazy to find Abra."
"What!", Danny screamed a bit too hard and other customers looked strangely at them.
"I thought you were looking for Abra?", Danny continued with a softer voice.
Richard's cheeks grew red. "Well, I was, but when I saw this, I knew I had to buy it. It's for the both of us, you know?"
Danny waved the argument away. "It's fine. Does it say anything about Brock's team?"
Richard shook his head. "Just that he used Rock types."
As they ate their breakfast, waffles with strawberry jam, they noticed several people sitting with their heads in their hands. Nurse Joy seemed to be extremely busy as well, seeing someone else had taken their order.
"I wonder what happened", Danny wondered out loud.
A guy, possibly in his early 20s, overheard them.
"It's Brock", he said. "They are all trainers that lost to him."
"That can't be right."
"Sadly, it is. I tried to beat him with my Nidoran and Bulbasaur. Geodude was no problem but his Onix… Man, that thing wrecked through my team like a train."
Danny felt a cold hand close around his heart. What the hell am I doing, he thought. If that guy with a Bulbasaur couldn't beat Onix…
The guy sat down next to Richard, who was clearly not too fond of it.
"I'm Joe by the way."
Both Danny and Richard were visibly uneasy, but that went over Joe's head.
"What kind of team will you be battling Brock with?", He asked Richard, but the latter shook his head.
"I'm not the one doing the battling, he is", Richard pointed towards Danny.
"I don't know. I think the Pokémon I've had for some time, that are used to battling with me."
"Smart", Joe nodded slowly. An awkward silence followed. Neither Danny nor Richard knew how to, or if they wanted to, continue the conversation. Luckily for them, Joy saved them.
"Joe? Your Pokémon are all healed up."
Joe made a thankful gesture and walked up to her.
"Go, go, GO!" Richard and Danny quickly made their way out of the Pokémon Center, Richard with waffles in his hand. When Joe turned around, he noticed they had left. He shrugged his shoulders and walked up to another trainer.
While Danny had to sneak back into the Pokémon Center to get his Pokémon, Richard started looking for the Gym. It took him less than five minutes.
"It couldn't be more obvious what type this Gym uses", Richard said to himself.
The entrance was completely made of rocks and above the structure was a massive, square-shaped rock. On it, the name of the Gym was carved. PEWTER GYM.
Richard admired the stonework when he heard the massive door open.
"Hi there, you must be here to face the Gym Leader", a guy stepped outside and walked towards Richard. "My name is Forrest."
"Hi, I'm Richard", Richard said as they shook hands.
"Well come on in and the battle can begin", Forrest said, but Richard shook his head with a wide smile.
"I'm not the challenger, my companion is. He's at the Pokémon Center right now."
While speaking those words he could've sworn he saw Forrest somewhere before. He looked awfully familiar.
"Is it possible we met before?"
Forrest shook his head. "I don't think so, maybe you met one of my siblings? I have a lot of them."
"That must be tough, living with a lot of siblings", Richard wondered.
Forrest nodded. "Sometimes it is, but we also have a lot of fun together. Anyway, if you aren't the challenger, I'm afraid I have to ask you to wait, the next one is already approaching. Wow, he's going fast."
Richard turned around and saw a guy running towards them quite fast. When the figure got closer Richard realised it was Danny that was closing in.
"That's the companion I told you about", Richard said with a laugh. Forrest started to laugh as well.
When Danny met up with them, he, just as Richard earlier, noticed the familiar face.
"Hey Salvadore, didn't expect to see you here", he said. Suddenly a light bulb went on in Richard's head.
"That's it! You look a lot like a boy we just met, his name was Salvadore."
Danny was looking confused at the two until he realised the guy standing before them was a bit older than Salvadore was.
Forrest smiled. "Well, I understand the confusion. He is one of my little brothers."
"He's a nice kid", Richard stated, to which Forrest could only nod.
"Yeah, he's the most adventurous of all of us. Well let's get your challenge on the way, shouldn't we?"
Danny felt a stone in his stomach but nodded nonetheless.
"Great, follow me."
Forrest led them through the large door. The inside of the Gym was filled with rocks. Columns were standing near the walls. The ground had a path caved out, which they followed to another door.
Forrest hammered with his fists on the door. "Brock, a new challenger!"
"Another? Where do you keep finding them?" It was a jovial voice on the other side of the door. The doors opened and a guy, roughly 25, walked out.
He looked at both Danny and Richard from top to bottom and back. He noticed both had a belt with several Pokéballs on them.
"Welcome trainers. My name is Brock, and I am the Pewter City Gym Leader. I understand one of you wants to challenge me?"
Danny stepped forward.
"That will be me, I'm Danny. This here is my friend Richard."
Brock nodded. "Awesome. I see you already met my brother Forrest; he will be the referee of the battle. It will be an official Gym battle, but he will explain the rules once we stand on the battlefield."
"We also met one of your other brothers, Salvadore", Richard said, to which Brock reacted surprised.
"Are you the two that he told me about? The ones that saved him from a group of wild Pokémon?"
Both Danny and Richard nodded.
Brock's face split into a smile. "I'm glad I got to meet the two of you. I can't thank you enough for saving my little brother. I will accept your challenge, even though I would love to just give you the badge like this as a sign of my thankfulness."
Danny shook his head. "I want to deserve it, sir."
It caused Brock to smile again. "I'm glad to hear that. Let's not wait any longer. Oh, and you can call me Brock."
Brock led them through another set of doors, which brought them into a large, empty hall. The ceiling was really high up.
"This is the Gym Leader's side, if you walk to the other side, your challenge can begin," Brock explained. "Is this your first Gym battle?"
Danny nodded.
"Well as a Gym Leader I adjust my team to the number of badges you have", Brock explained quickly.
For a brief second Danny thought he escaped the Onix, but quickly realised Joe probably didn't have any badges either.
Once Danny had reached his part of the field, Forrest pushed a small button that was located on his referee stand.
The floor opened and the battlefield was lifted up. It was filled with rocks, which was no surprise.
"This will be your battlefield," Forrest announced. "Both trainers can only use two Pokémon, but only the challenger is allowed to switch his Pokémon. Are both challengers ready?"
Brock nodded. Forrest turned to Danny, who slowly nodded as well.
'This is it', he thought.
"Alright then. Challenger, send out your first Pokémon."
Danny took one of the Pokéballs off his belt.
"Abra, I choose you. Show them what we can do!"
Brock smiled. "Let's start things off easy. Geodude, give our friends a good first impression."
When the Rock-type came out it looked at Abra with arrogance, while the Psychic-type was more than ready to battle.
Geodude, the Rock Pokémon. Geodude has incredibly high defensive power, making it virtually resistant to any physical attacks.
Danny put his Pokédex back in his pocket. 'So Geodude is really defensive, I need to find a way to get past it', he thought to himself.
Brock didn't allow him much time to think.
"Geodude, use Rollout."
The Rock-type curled together and started rolling towards Abra.
"Abra, dodge!"
Abra was out of the way right before Geodude would hit him.
Danny felt sweat sliding down his forehead and neck. So much for a warm welcome into the Pokémon League. It was tough from the start. Brock's next words confirmed it.
"Geodude can roll all day", he smiled.
"Keep dodging it Abra", Danny commanded.
The difference between the two battlers was clearly visible. Brock was enjoying the battle. The tactics, the nervousness of the rooky trainer against him. It was fun for him. Danny, on the other hand, wasn't enjoying it at all. He was too nervous to enjoy it.
The battle had become more like a bowling game than an official Gym battle. Geodude kept rolling around the battlefield as if it was no hard task, which it probably wasn't. Abra was having more and more trouble escaping the Rollout attacks, as they came from all different kinds of angles. Brock clearly had all the strings tightly in his hands.
Richard was sitting on a bench nearby and witnessed with horror how Danny was losing the Gym battle. He knew that if Abra went down, which shouldn't take long if things kept the current pace, he would be left with two Pokémon that were weak to the Rock-type.
The course of the battle changed when the inevitable happened. Instead of rolling directly toward Abra, Geodude rolled onto a rock with high speed, causing it to be bounced back into Abra. Brock's smile grew while Danny watched helplessly as his Pokémon blasted into a rock on the field.
"Abra!", Danny called in distress. He felt a tremble of pain going through his body as he watched his friend down on the ground.
Geodude stopped the rolling and looked at the Pokémon laying before it.
"Finish it off with a Tackle attack", Brock ordered.
Danny was frozen. His thought had disappeared, and he felt like he was falling. He opened his mouth, but no command came out. Just a soft "Abra..."
Abra wasn't panicking though. It had taken damage, but it had taken large amounts of damage before while training with Marcel. There was only one thing left to do. To teleport away.
Geodude blasted into the rocks, confused to see its opponent wasn't lying unconscious before it.
"Where did it go?", Brock asked in the same confusion. He hadn't heard Danny give an order at all. His lips did move though.
Abra's disappearance brought life back into the young trainer. He didn't know where Abra was, but once the Psi-Pokémon would be back, he knew what to do.
But the Psychic-type had no plan on where to return, so he just returned levitating above Geodude.
"Abra, smash Geodude into the ground with Psychic!"
Presented with a clear order, Abra did as he was told. Geodude lost all control of its body as a blue aura surrounded it. The next thing it felt was the hard floor.
"Now, Teleport away again!"
The roles had changed: Geodude has gone from the hunter to the hunted. Abra kept appearing and disappearing around the Rock Pokémon, which made it slightly confused.
When Danny saw Abra appearing above Geodude, he knew that was his sign. "Abra, use Psychic!"
Brock swallowed. This was not the plan.
"Teleport away again!", Danny ordered.
This might be fun after all, he realised.
Both trainers were looking around to try and find Abra. Danny was the first once again and ordered Abra to use another Psychic. This time the Rock-type was blasted into a wall behind Brock.
"No defence can counter that", Danny cheered. "Good job Abra!"
Abra looked back toward his trainer and waved happily. That was a mistake. Geodude wasn't defeated. Quite the contrary, now it was pissed.
Without needing an order, it flew into Abra, blasting the Psi-Pokémon off the battlefield.
Abra got up directly and turned around.
"Psychic!", Danny ordered quickly.
Geodude was about to leap forward for the finishing blow, but Psychic stopped it in its tracks. Once again it was blasted into a wall behind Brock, all the way across the battlefield.
Abra stayed focused on the Rock-type until Forrest announced Geodude was out of the race, after which Abra fell to his knees and rested.
"Well, that was certainly impressive. I hope you realise those walls will be repaired with your money." Brock was joking, the League covered all damage done within the battle halls. Although existing craters indicated they were long overdue.
The noise the battle had caused attracted another inhabitant of the Gym: little Salvadore came running inside.
"Hey Danny, Richard!"
Brock turned around and looked angrily at his younger brother.
"Salvadore, this is an official Gym battle. Please, stay at the stand until the match is finished."
Salvadore nodded guilty and sat next to Richard, who smiled at him.
"Cubone is doing great", he whispered to Richard.
"Salvadore!"
"Sorry Brock", Salvadore said but turned back towards Richard. "Next time, we'll beat those Grass-types."
Brock sighed.
"Shall we continue?", He asked, almost desperate. Danny nodded with a wide laugh. All the tension he had felt leading up to the battle and during the first part of it was gone.
Brock nodded in relief.
"Well, I truly hope you brought more than just your Abra. Onix, it's up to you now!"
Danny's head quickly moved up to see the full extent of the Pokémon that was just brought in. Abra stepped back, while Richard gasped.
Onix was massive in every sense of the way. Now Danny understood why the ceiling was as high as it was. He knew Onix was large, but he never quite realised how large until he was facing it. Its head alone was as large as Danny was and it was staring him and Abra right in their eyes.
Onix, the RockSnake Pokémon. It tunnels through the groundwhich shakes when it raises its thunderous roar. It can move the ground at fifty miles per hour.
"We can't give up now Abra. Use Teleport again."
"Tail Slam." Brock understood within seconds that quick handling was of the essence here.
Being as large as it was, Onix wasn't very fast. However, its tail was close enough that it could reach Abra before the Psi-Pokémon fully teleported away.
Abra was smashed off the battlefield, right into the wall right of Danny. Abra fell down to his knees, stayed like that for two seconds, and fell to the ground.
"Abra is unable to battle", Forrest announced. "Both trainers are now left with one Pokémon each."
"Abra, return. You fought an amazing battle, now take a nice, long rest."
Richard held his breath. Which Pokémon was Danny going to use now? He saw Danny's hand go towards his belt. It wasn't Charmander, that much was sure. The ball Danny was grabbing didn't have the fire symbol. So, it was Beedrill, probably the best bet. Speed. That was probably the way to go.
Danny cradled the red ball in his hand for a while, until throwing it onto the battlefield. Emerging out wasn't Beedrill though. It was a Bellsprout.
Richard gasped for air, while Salvadore jumped up. Bellsprout itself was mostly shocked to see the monstrous Pokémon in front of him.
"Danny, how on earth did you get a Bellsprout?", Richard screamed.
Salvadore contributed to the confusion as well. "Isn't that the Bellsprout that attacked me?"
"Can you please stop interrupting?", That was Forrest.
Danny was overwhelmed by the response, although he did predict it would happen.
"I simply captured it, Richard. Yes, Salvadore, it is the Bellsprout that was attacking you, and Forrest, I would love to continue", he said with a smile.
Brock and Forrest shared a confused look, what was going on?
"Onix, use Tail Slam again!", Brock ordered in an attempt to get the battle going again. It closed the mouths of everyone, to Brock's relief.
"Bellsprout, counter it with Vine Whip!", Danny commanded after checking Bellsprout's moves in the Pokédex.
Bellsprout shook its entire body lose as two vines grew from his leaf-like arms. Onix' rocky tail and Bellsprout's vines collided mid-air and both landed on the ground again. Bellsprout was looking up at the large snake and tried to look intimidating, although that laughably failed.
"Onix, use Dig!" Onix went underground, leaving a huge crater in the battlefield.
"Bellsprout, watch out!"
The Grass-type felt the ground trembling underneath him and ran, but the emerging Onix took so much rubble with it, Bellsprout was launched into the sky.
"Bellsprout, use your Vine Whip."
This time around, the vines hit target, but Onix didn't seem to be damaged at all.
"I thought you would try another Vine Whip, you are vulnerable for Tail Slam. Onix!"
The Rock Pokémon made contact and slammed the Flower Pokémon into the wall, in the same spot where Abra had crashed into minutes earlier. Talk about a good aim.
Bellsprout jumped out but seemed quite damaged. Another hit might be the last. It was now or nothing.
"Bellsprout, use Sleep Powder!"
"No! Onix, go underground to dodge it."
All humans quickly covered their mouths and noses while the entire room was filled with the powder Bellsprout released. Onix inhaled a lot of it while making his way down. As a result, it fell asleep while half of its body was still above the surface.
Danny awaited a response from Brock, but when that stayed out, he ordered Bellsprout to use another Vine Whip. This time, the damage was visible. The two plant whips made their mark on the rocky exterior.
"Onix, wake up!"
The voice of its trainer went straight through the Sleep Powder and the Rock-type woke up. It crawled out of its self-dug hole, causing the entire arena to shake, and rose up. Its face had an angry expression.
"Tail Slam!", Brock yelled, feeling the tension rising.
"Bellsprout, dive down!"
Bellsprout looked at his new trainer with a weird look, decided to trust his call and dived down, just in time to not be hit by Onix' large tail.
"Now Vine Whip, one more time!", Danny shouted off the top of his lungs. He was shaking in excitement. Was he about to win this battle?
As Onix' attack made it turn around, there was no way it could avoid Bellsprout's vines. They hit on the back of Onix' head, making the Rock-type fall down with a lot of noise. The entire arena trembled when the snake made contact with the earth.
Everyone held their breath, waiting for Onix to move. But nothing happened.
"Onix is unable to battle, Bellsprout won. With that, the challenger is the winner of this Gym battle", Forrest announced, shocked by the results.
"Return Onix, you did an amazing job."
Danny ran onto the battleground, dodging some rocks on his way there, and kneeled next to Bellsprout.
"You were amazing!", he said while hugging the Flower Pokémon. Never having experienced something as this, Bellsprout hugged back joyfully.
"Now that was a great battle, despite the interruptions", Brock said, as he walked towards Danny. "I enjoyed it. I hope you did too."
Danny was still shaking but found that he did enjoy it.
"Here is the Boulder Badge, which is proof that you beat me in an official Gym battle. You earned it."
Danny took the badge in his hand and gazed at it.
My first Gym badge, he thought. I never thought this moment would actually happen.
"Thanks, Brock, it was an honour to battle with you", Danny heard himself say it, but his mind was on the badge, which was shaped like a rock. After all, how could it not?
"I'm the one who should be thanking you. You saved my brother and showed me you are a worthy trainer." Brock put his hand forward, which Danny gratefully shook.
Brock walked away. Behind him, he could hear Danny cheer. "He reminds me of another trainer", he said to himself.
Salvadore and Richard walked towards Danny.
"Congratulations, you exceeded my expectations", Richard said.
"You did really well!", Salvadore cheered, before kneeling next to Bellsprout. "And so did you. I'm not angry with you."
Bellsprout seemed totally different from before and even allowed Salvadore to pet him.
Later
"I still can't believe how you got that Bellsprout", Richard said. "Why did you capture it?"
"Well, we both agreed my team wasn't cut out to take on and defeat Brock. Bellsprout is a Grass-type and laid unconscious at my feet, it wasn't a difficult choice."
"And I didn't even notice …", Richard mumbled
Danny waved it away. "Now how about we visit that museum you would like to see?"
Richard nodded.
"But there's one thing we have to do first", Danny sped up and ran towards the Pokémon Center, which caused Richard to laugh.
With his first badge in his pocket and a new Pokémon on the team, Danny is more than ready for whatever comes next. More challenges await them, but together, they will be ready.
