The next day

Cassadine Compound

" Master, your sister wants to speak to you." The servant says. " Unless I am in a meeting, if she or her children want to see me do not announce her, are we clear?" Shiloh says. " Yes, master." They say. He opens the door and Elizabeth enters. " You look radiant, how can I help you?" Shiloh asks. " Things are not adding up with Ric. He had to have help because he was in Port Charles and I am sure when he faked his death it was to take care of my child but I want to know who his partner was." She says. " Observant as ever. When Ric was not raising Chloe he had a nanny but his partner was a combination of people. Of course, I have proof for you. Drew is brainwashed by your husband. He knew about your daughter and at first, it was to torture Jason because he is the biological father which we will get into how that happened. He sent clues about the child being Jason's but someone destroyed them and when everyone thought she was dead Franco stopped sending clues. Once he found out she was alive he made a deal with Ric because well they both hated Jason and used his twin to take care of Chloe but he never remembers. Once I found out Franco was a part of it I watched him and he finally slipped up when you disappeared and I confirmed my suspicions about him. I know this must hurt having men whose obsessions are more important than their love for you and your children but we are family and I know my methods were extreme but I did this for you so you could rid yourself of the dead weight in your life." He says.

Shiloh shows her the proof and it destroys all illusions she had about her husband. She once again picked a man who claimed to love her but his hatred and obsession against Jason was more important and yet Jason chose to leave. She has no illusion about Shiloh she knows he has an agenda but he has shown her the truth and returned her daughter to her when everyone believed her to be dead. For now, staying away from the people in Port Charles sounds like a good idea, as it will allow her to figure out her life and why she keeps making the same mistakes with different men. She has reached her limit and says " Since Franco wanted to play a game I want to play one too. I want him to believe I am dead and I want to see him spiral and see what his reaction is and then when he reaches rock bottom bring him to me." Elizabeth says. " My dear sister, she is a genius and a true Cassadine move. Your wish is my command. Any other requests." He asks. " I need to speak with Jason. I need to cut that cord as well. Set it up and as long as you assure me no physical harm shall come to him then I will stay." She says. " If those are your wishes I can agree. Once you are done and we set up your death I have someone that wants to meet you." Shiloh states.

May 2019

Toronto

It takes a month to set up everything and to make Franco sweat it out but they succeed and are waiting for his descent into madness. Jason relocated his family to Toronto since he no longer trusted anyone else to protect them after they lost Elizabeth and his children. His phone rings and he answers " Morgan." Elizabeth says " Hello Jason. I wanted to warn you that if you are in Port Charles and hear rumors of my death I am very much safe and alive. I found out something about Franco that has caused me to reevaluate our relationship. I found out that he knew that my daughter Chloe was alive and being raised by Ric. I am sure you heard of his death as well. That is very much true. Helena set up a fake death of another one of my children. I would get in contact with Drew and let him know he is brainwashed by Franco because he would give him a command and he would take care of Chloe and when he returns he doesn't remember. Someone used your DNA and impregnated me with Chloe. I am unclear who that is."

Jason says " We have a daughter together. Tell me where you are and I will come for you." Elizabeth says " Sorry Jason but no. I only said I am alive so that you do not mourn our children who are perfectly healthy I will send you updates and I will allow you to speak to Jake, Chloe, and Cam but if you ask them where we are I will end the call and no further contact. I am only doing this because they miss you but you made a choice and left them. I told you what would happen if you left and you didn't heed my warning. You probably thought I would accept it and forgive you and stay so that I would not separate Jake and Danny but as soon as I heard Anna tell you about Carly and Micheal I spoke with her that if you left willingly to make arrangements for us to leave. I know they were never in real danger but you fell for it."

" I came back the next day. I realized my mistake before I found out they were never in real danger. I came back. Our children need their father." Jason says. " Tell me did you tell Samantha that I am pregnant with our children." She asks. Jason sighs because no he has not. He was too busy trying to track her down. " No, but I will. " He says. " I see. If you never left then you would not have to come back. I have to protect myself from you. Your instinct was to choose your best friend who has hated me simply because I saved you. Tell me something, I am the only woman who has never put you in danger. Zander was never a real threat because let's face it he was an idiot and I am thankful my genes overpower his but you pick women who put your life in danger constantly. Was Lucky right? You are a dangerous junkie and you pick your addiction over your children. You told Sonny that you don't regret working for him despite everything he cost you. He never wanted me to have your child because, in his twisted mind, it had nothing to do with him. Think about it, Sam was his mistress. Carly is the mother of his children and wife again but I pose a threat because he could never control me and he is just as possessive as Carly he dared to date your sister who was similar to me but I never knew what the point was he stopped being my friend but when he did I was deemed a threat to him."

" You are right to an extent but I do not value Carly more than you and it has nothing to do with our children. I can understand why you feel that about Sonny. I would assume he started to feel that way when I did what I did when you went missing and was locked in the crypt." Jason says. Elizabeth is curious. " What did you do?" She asks. " I never told you because you know I don't brag. I went to the cops for help and Sonny felt that was a betrayal especially since it was Taggert. I went to AJ and Edward and I ripped that town apart for you. Now that I think about it, he didn't want me to tell you about faking his death. Of course, after that happened and you slept with Zander and I put your happiness above my own and let him live Sonny felt like you had too much power over me. I know you overheard what I said to Courtney but I lied to her technically. She asked if I ever loved you and at that moment I told her what I believed to be true. Just like you, I didn't realize my love for you until it was too late. I only helped cover up Courtney's role in your accident because Alcazar was involved and in his mind, you were collateral damage in his obsession with Carly, and killing him at that point would have started a war." He says.

" Why didn't you tell me?" She whispers. " Because I never want you to feel like you owe me and I was hurt so I let you believe the worst of me and it was to protect you from my life. I know you don't believe me but I really do love you. So if keeping your distance is the only way for you to find peace and get you to trust me I will stop looking for you as long as I know you are safe and healthy. I hope one day you will believe that." Elizabeth sees her children and decides to let them talk to him. She has some thinking to do. She opens the video feature and Jason pops up and he looks tired. " Give me time. For now rest, please. Our children want to talk to you." She says. She hands the phone to Jake and he waves to his dad. " Hey Dad, did Mom tell you about Chloe? I am so happy but I miss you."

Jason looks at his little girl who looks like Jake but she has her mother's curls and smile. " Yes," she told me. I am happy for you guys. Hello Chloe, nice to meet you." Jason says. " Mama told me that you are my Daddy. Do you want to be my Daddy?" She asks. Jason clears his throat and says " It will be an honor to be your father." Chloe says " I can't wait to meet you and show you my drawings and Mama said you like to read like me. I hope you can read my stories to me soon." After that Elizbeth just listens to the kids talk about different things with Jason and she is still conflicted.
