Broken Team. Leah finds her way.

Opening up in a dimly lit room, I'm standing there sitting in a chair.

Me: Alexa, the Head of The Table. Being betrayed by Leah, her Right Hand Woman. Alexa now being unconscious, Team Maelstrom has lost it's leader for an unknown amount of time. How will the team react? And in case you don't remember. I'm Izaiah Zero, not Blade Zero.

Alexa is lying unconscious as Eveline is cuddling up to her.

Me (narrating): Eveline, the girl who's only origin is a lie, the girl that everyone finds cute.

Eveline sits up and yawns. She stretches and kisses Alexa's forehead.

Eveline: Love you, Mama.

She gets out of the bed and leaves her room. Eveline walks downstairs and finds Lincoln and Lisa sitting on the couch.

Lisa: If my calculations are correct, we are going to lose around 3 members by the end of today.

Lincoln: If only we were stronger. We could've helped her.

Lynn walks inside after her early morning workout.

Lynn: Alright! I'm pretty sure that I'm able to destroy that I can destroy a neighborhood.

Lincoln: That's not enough Lynn!

Lynn: Hey, At least I'm training and not lazing around doing whatever it is you're doing.

Lincoln: I'm trying to figure out how we can stay as a team without a leader. But a single-minded idiot wants to talk about how she's confident that she can destroy a neighborhood now!!

Lynn: Watch your mouth, Stinkin' or you can be put back into that squirrel suit.

Lincoln: You did not just go there.

Lynn: But I did. What are you going to do about it, Stinkin'?

Lincoln stares at Lynn with a raging fire behind his eyes and he launches himself at her. Linka appears and catches him before anything could happen.

Linka: Stop this!

Lincoln looks at Linka with a glare and tries to push past her. He's met with an equal force from her and he soon stops.

Linka: We can't be fighting against each other. We have a world to worry about and for some, they have multiple universes to make sure are safe. If we start then we'll be divided. Do you think Alexa would want that?

Lincoln (In a low tone): ...No...

Linka: Good. Now apologize to Lynn.

Lincoln: WHAT?!

Lynn lets out a small chuckle.

Lynn: You heard her. Come apologize to big sis.

Lincoln lets out a growl and he looks at Linka.

Lincoln: You can't be serious.

His fingers twitch, subtly that no one seems to notice. Electricity flows through his fingertips. His left arm gets surrounded with hot red fire and his right arm gets surrounded with metal. The three's eyes widen and Lily Zero walks into the room.

Lily Zero: How's everyone doing-What the fuck?!

They turn to her and see her eyes have widened like saucers. She shakes her head and gives Lincoln a big smile.

Lily Zero: Someone's been training.

Lincoln: What. Do. You. Want?

Lily Zero: Grouchy.

Lincoln: Well, maybe cause our leader is unconscious and probably won't wake up, years after we're dead!

Lily Zero: We can tell her that you guys-

She gets cutoff as she dodges a blast of lightning and fire. She looks at Lincoln with a serious face.

Lily Zero: What was that for?

Lincoln: Stop joking!

Lincoln launch's a fireball but it gets swallowed by a weird black and red, slimey substance.

Lynn: What was that?

Eveline (With a demanding and near divine voice): ENOUGH!!!!!

Everyone in the estate immediately rushes to the living room and sees Eveline standing with some kind of mold emitting from her. Upon noticing this, Grace slowly walks up to Eveline.

Grace: Hey, Evie. Don't be mad, upset? Are you upset? We can get through this, just don't murder people.

Eveline doesn't move and Grace digs into her pockets and pulls out a big bag of Swedish Fish that causes Eveline to look at her and the mold around her disappears. Grace starts to lead her to the kitchen.

Grace: Just follow Auntie Grace.

Once the two are gone everyone looks at each other confused.

Lori: What was that?

Inumuta: I guess that Eveline must have some kind of superpower over mold. Some kind of weird mold. Its extremely fascinating, actually.

Annahbelle: I've never seen anyone with such powers over mold or any type of fungi.

Yuzuru: Question: Could this be due to her being created by some kind of ultimate being?

Lana: I don't think that's-

Annahbelle: That could be right?

Lana: Wait, really?

Annahbelle: Yeah, I don't think a lot of us know her origin and I'm pretty sure if she was a normal human, she couldn't do that by herself.

A bright purple pillar of light breaks through the ceiling and Cassidy emerges from the pillar as it disappears soon after.

Cassidy: Where is he?!

Lily Zero: Where was what?

Cassidy: The person that I need answers from!!

Kotori: Calm down and explain who you are looking for.

Cassidy takes a deep breath and looks at everyone. In the kitchen, Grace is scanning Eveline's body looking for how Eveline was capable of creating the mold from earlier.

Grace: You gotta be special. No one can create mold like that and have an aura that's that powerful.

Eveline: You say something?

Grace: Oh, nothing.

Grace lets out a sigh of relief and her eyes widen once she spots something. She leaves Eveline who's eating the bag of Swedish Fish and rushes to the living room.

Grace: Guys! You won't believe what I found!

Grace almost falls over as she comes to a sudden stop. Her eyes widening at the sight she sees, everyone is laid out, bleeding and heavily injured, some look to be near death.

Grace: What the fuck?

A blood trail leads upstairs and Grace looks back to the kitchen where Eveline is, making a decision she puts a barrier around Eveline and she coats her right hand with destruction energy as she makes her way upstairs. She makes sure everyone in the living room won't die before she goes to the second floor. She realizes where this is taking her and she immediately runs, following the trail. She makes it to a door where the blood trail ends. She sees Lincoln, motionless, and looks a bit more pale. She crouches down and starts to heal Lincoln. She looks at a message on the wall and reads it out loud.

Grace: "I know you weren't here, Grace. So I left you with a broken team. I'm going to need your leader for a bit."

Grace stands up and opens the door seeing Alexa is gone and she starts to panic. Feeling heavy breathing behind her, Grace turns around only to end up getting hit by a fist. Lincoln's body falls forward and there is more of the message. "And I need you too."

Somewhere else.

Leah wakes up and sees black ooze dripping from the ceiling.

Leah: What the fuck is this?

A soft, sweet, and hypnotic voice speaks to her.

???: Leah. Oh Leah.

Leah: Who's there? You don't want to fight me!

??? lets out a soft laugh.

???: You can't even hurt me. You can't even see me.

Leah hears footsteps from behind, she turns and sees, no one. Leah summons a ball of death energy.

???: You nervous?

Leah: Kinda, yeah. Who are you? Where are you? Where am I?

???: So many questions for such little time.

Leah: Little time? What are you talking about?

Leah looks around until she sees 10 glowing, red and gold eyes above her.

???: I will tell you this. That girl, Eveline. Watch out for her. She's...unstable...

Leah: Unstable? What do you mean by that?

???: I'm simply stating the fact that you don't know much about Eveline.

Leah: My guess was that she was created from Blade.

???: Blade? (Lets out a sigh and mumbles to herself) You're half right. But it wasn't Blade's powers.

Leah: Does that mean?

???: Yes. She was created by Izaiah Zero.

Leah's eyes widen as she takes in that I created her and not Blade. She looks up at ??? who starts to tell her more about Eveline and her origins.

At the same time.

Opening her eyes, Grace feels chains around her wrists.

Grace: What the?

She stands up and pulls on her chains. She looks and sees Alexa chained to a wall.

Grace: Lexi!!

A cold-hearted laugh echoes through the room. Grace turns and sees Cassidy emerge from the shadows.

Cassidy: She's not gonna wake. Tis' a pity. Wanted to see her reaction to what is gonna happen.

Grace: What's gonna happen? Why do you need her? Why take me?!

Cassidy: Cause I need you both, sweetheart. I couldn't find Leah, so you were the next choice.

Grace: Why would you ever need Leah? And why was I the next choice!

Cassidy puts Grace in a time prison.

Cassidy: I need to find the truth. Truth about myself and maybe more. I just know that I need to summon Izaiah.

Grace: The truth?

Cassidy: When Blade was alive, you had more questions than answers, right?

Grace nods.

Cassidy: Then this might be the only chance we ever get to knowing the truth. I'll find out more about my bastard husband.

Grace: But why does that involve us?

Cassidy: Because, I need love, life, and death. The three key elements to a mortal life to even have a chance at summoning him.

Grace: I'm...no, you BITCH!!

Cassidy: It's the only way.

Grace coughs up saliva as the time prison around her disappers. She drops to a knee and feels Cassidy putting some kind of mark on her forehead. Cassidy walks up and puts a mark on Alexa's forehead too. Walking towards the center of the room, an altar appears and Cassidy starts saying s chant that Grace doesn't understand. After she's finished, Grace gets knocked out as a bright golden light shines across the room.
