"The outlaws that Sledge had captured weren't exactly the common criminals that terrorized a town or kidnapped someone from a family in exchange for money. What Sledge went after monsters that destroyed planets, made themselves dangerous across several parts of the galaxy as well were worth a lot of money. That's what he captured, along lost when he arrived to Earth when his ship broke apart and crashed into the surface. Now seeing three infamous ones that signed on with Machine Head and with a group of other well known villains. Felt like a nightmare since all eight of them would be fighting him and the others."

Machine Head's penthouse

Outside of the penthouse everything seemed normal to the people, nothing bad going on along of things seemingly normal. However, inside of the penthouse was a bloodbath. Watching the sight of the battle, both Machine Head and Isotope were looking over the rather amazing battle right in front of them. From Invincible dodging the electricity blasts from Kursk, the Russian electricity man. Titan dodging the attacks of Battle Beast, who was swinging his golden mace at him. While the three monsters were handling the rest.

"Ha! Can I host a fight or what? When I'm done with all of your jokes I'm going sell you to the highest military bidder. Might make you into weapons or some shit."

Machine head shouting as Sledge was dealing with both Bone and Slammer, who were both attacking him with large spiked bones from wrists. Who tried to stab Sledge, while on the other side was Slammer who was throwing a ball and chain at him.

"For fifty years you've kept me on your ship! And out of all that time, I've though a hundred ways of killing you and ripping your bones out of your body."

Bones informing Sledge as he continued to lunge towards Sledge, while getting caught in Slammers chain. Pulling with full force, the warden monster threw him across the ground. While that was going on, Fury was handling the walking Furnace and living magma man as he avoided getting burned.

"Why do you have the same being with fire powers? Isn't that being you know. Pathetic!"

Announcing to Machine head as the crime boss order the two to fry him, firing a combine assault of fire at Fury. He leapt out of the way and continued to attack them, on the side was Gold Digger who was being thrown across the side by Tether. Who throwed him at Spellbinder as he threw his feathers at him which pierced his chest right threw.

"Traitor. You should be fighting Sledge not working for him, your just as pathetic when we were on that ship."

The bird like criminal stating as Gold Digger threw several coins in his face which exploded. Forcing Spellbinder to move back, he used his pickaxe on the man's pink tethers as he breaks free. The battle continued to go on as well become more violent, leaving the large white lion to grab him on the side and smash his face into the ground.

"I'm gonna have Battle Beast grind you up and use you to pave my driveway."

Threatening him on how Machine Head would have the lion tear him apart, as he continued to pound away Titan into the ground. Sledge used his blaster to handle the other villains while going to Mark's side seeing how he still had trouble with the electrical man.

"You should go help your man there, I got static freak here."

Offering to help him out as he grabbed the yellow suited man as he begun punching him in the face making sure he was going stay down. Mark rushed to Titan's side, but soon saw the furnace man trying to burn him.

"No!"

Shouting in anger as he tried to rush him, however he was trapped by Slammer as his chains kept him imprisoned without breaking free. Soon enough he got attacked by one of the other living fire men as he burned him. Seeing his teammates being overwhelmed as well taking a lot of punishment, along him getting burned at the same time. There was something building up in side him, in which in a sudden snap. He let's out a explosive yell to the entire room.

"You guys are fucking dead!"

Announcing to the attackers as he looked at the prisoner creature and busts free from the chain. Grabbing it, he hurls Slammer towards him and arm lunges him to the ground. Looking at the magma man, he tried to attack him. However Invincible rushed right threw him making him into a puddle. Looking at the others who was shocked at the sudden violence, he was ready to go all out.

"Who's next?!"

Demanding a question from them as he suddenly feels a whack to the side of his head. Looking above him, it was Battle Beast as he snarled at possibly a chance for a real fight.

"Hello, boy."

Greeting him as he gripped his weapon tight as he saw how Invincible got up, looking at the anthromorphic lion. He begins punching his face multiple times as well using all his strength to go against him. However, it didn't even make him bleed. Delivering a strong left hook, Beast sent Mark to the stairs seeing how he wasn't what he was cracked up to be.

"Weakling, this fight proves that your not the strongest in the..."

Before he could talk, he felt a blast from behind him which made Beast stumble. Looking behind him it was Sledge as he hits the side of his chest willing to handle him face to face.

"You want strength? I'm the definition shit for brains!"

Announcing to Battle Beast as he charges right at the lion as he was able to stop the charge, and used both hands to hit Sledge's back. The force from the combine fists made him hesitate, as well shutter from the strength of the creature. While it was formidable for Sledge to handle him head on, it still didn't prove he was stronger than him. Doing the same attack again, Beast sent Sledge to the ground as well making it crack. Machine head, was enjoying how the fight was ending.

"You guys are worth every cent. Seriously, I should hire you for life with how you handled these morons."

Praising the villains on how brutal they handled the five, to which the three outlaw monsters looked at Sledge and the two others and decided to stomp on them multiple times. Fury, getting back up saw how they were circling around him. Before all eight could attack him, Machine Head was detecting something.

"Wait, I'm getting something. What the hell?"

Getting confused about what might be going on, to which there was a sudden thump. Right above the wall it exploded showing the Guardians of the Globe. The six heroes leapt out of the wall and landed by Fury's side, in which they saw the large fight happening and the others hurt.

"Cecil got an anonymous call. We came here as soon as possible."

Robot informing them as the villains gathered up together looking at the new opponents, the heroes quickly rushed the villains beginning their fight. With each one handling a opponent, Sledge. Was able to get out of the crater Beast made for him and see Mark barely breathing. Trying to get to him, Spellbinder was in the air swooping down right at him.

"Sledge! You had this coming for a long.."

Right as he was about to attack him, Sledge elbowed him to the ground seeing how he had no time for it. Continuing to make his way, he trembled to the ground still weak from the attack Beast gave to him. Fury on the other hand was doing his best to stand from the numerous enemies that was coming his way.

"Come on! I'll take you all down!"

Shouting out to the group as Fury joined the Guardians in a epic charge towards the villains, with the heroes displaying their own fighting styles against them. Fury, went directly towards Battle Beast as they clashed weapons with each other. Holding their ground, the alien lion could see the fighting spirit in him.

"You have the eyes of a warrior, but do you have the strength?"

Battle Beast asking Fury as he head butts him making Fury move back as the two feline warriors continued to battle it out, the others were handling the other villains as it appeared both sides were evenly match. It continued more as Sledge was going drag Mark out of here, however. Before he could he was blasted to the side by Bones, both he and Slammer looked at him seeing how he had fallen.

"The fearsome Sledge, now become a babysitter. The mighty have fallen."

Slammer stated as the two tried to get the jump on him, however Sledge punched both of them at the throats making them unable to breath. Standing back up, he saw the Guardians needing assistance as Battle Beast had knocked Fury across the wall. Firing off several rounds into him, to which Mark saw from how Sledge was helping him recover from the attacks.

"Using a blaster, pathetic."

Beast stated while taking them one by one, until he reached up to Sledge and grabbed his arm. Breaking in half, the bounty hunter yelled in pain as he was tossed to the side. Mark, saw how the hunter protected him as he was close to the door. However, Beast grabbed his leg and pulled him close so the boy could look at him.

"I was promised this world had worthy opponents, however. Your death, will be a act of mercy."

Stating to him as the others watched at how Mark was unable to stand back up, the others tried to get up due to the injuries they had. However, Battle Beast plunged his mace into his chest making a large hole straight into him. The others saw this horrific sight in which they didn't know how to react, Black Samson. Who's suit was damaged removed it as he decided to attack him.

"Black Samson retreat!"

Robot warning him as the non powered man didn't listen as he tried to use whatever strength he could muster to face this formidable enemy. However, Battle Beast grabbed him by his right hand and crushed it. Yelling in pain, the lion tossed him to the side breaking his bones. On the side was Monster Girl who was being attacked by Kursk and Spellbinder who saw the gruesome sight.

"No!"

She shouted as she back smashed the man and punches the bird creature in the face, charging at Battle Beast. She was able to strike him in the nose making him bleed a bit, however with each savage punch. He was able to grab her by the throat, squeezing tight the lion looked annoyed. Spinning her around, he leapt into the air with her doing a piledriver onto the ground. Seeing how he had the advantage, he grabbed to two rocks and smashed her face which her blood splattered across his face. Robot, looking at the sight had his eyes glow in which he delivered a energy blast from his chest.

"No!"

Announcing as he fired it at Beast's arm making a wound on it, moving away from Monster Girl. He could see the other Guardians picking themselves up, he only laughed at them of how they were going to try again. However, Fury. Looking at the sight of his friend, as well the other heroes who helped them in a fight that wasn't there's, made something awaken in him.

"Someone skin this cat already, I'm getting tired of.."

As Machine head was about to give a order to kill Fury, the electricity in the room begun to flicker. The guardians noticed the display of energy as Fury was somehow absorbing the energy surrounding him. Showing his claws and sword, the other Guardians stood by his side ready for one last assault.

"I'm, so. Fucking, irritated."

Fury spoke out as he lets out a savage roar as it made the four young adults charge, Rex pulled out several small items which he detonated as well threw to Dupli-Kate. As she multiple and hurled them at the Furnace being as it made a hole in it's armor making him fall. Kursk rushed at them but Fury grabbed his throat and absorbed his power. Biting his neck, he hurled the energy villain outside of the window. The others took down the remaining villains as all that was left was Battle Beast and the three Outlaw monsters.

"Impressive, but there is no honor in killing weaklings. When you grow stronger cat, I will come for you."

Talking directly to Fury as he grabbed Spellbinder and forced him to make a dark mist appear, striking his sword into the ground. He destroyed half of the entrance in a electrical blast, however. He missed, Battle Beast along Spellbinder escaped. As well the other two monsters, getting frustrated with this he lets out a angered roar. Seeing the fight over, Machine Head thought it be best to leave.

"Well, I did expect this to happen, Isotope let's go."

Announcing to his second in command as he looked over to see him gone, unable to question where he headed off to. Rex rushed up to him and delivered a solid punch into his face making him go unconscious. The others, looked at their fallen seeing how they needed immediate medical help. Robot, looked over to Monster Girl as she reverted to her child like form. Holding her close, Fury saw how the battle shook everyone.

"This, this isn't honor."

Fury telling himself quietly as he didn't realize how gruesome it was, a real battle. Not like he had with Sledge and the others, this was. Something graphic, Mark. Coughing as Sledge who passed out from the blood lose feeling sorry he had to stand in the way. Looking upwards, he thought he saw something flying above them.

"Dad..."

Question the sight thinking that he saw his father watching over them, his eyes become blurry as well how he soon saw a helicopter flying over him. It was GDA, in which several of it's doctor's and security rushed in to help out the fallen heroes. While everyone was getting help, Fury stood there at the center unable to process what has happened. Walking over to Mark, he kneels down to him feeling like he failed him and Sledge.

"No, we need him. Get him and the others to the lab now."

Spoke out Cecil as he was here to check up on the heroes, along of going towards Machine Head who he removed the chip from his head. As things were being handled, Sledge looked at Mark being taken on a stretcher. While for him, was still unable to stand as Fury walked over and helped him up.

"Come on, let's get you back on your feet before Poisandra murders me."

Informing Sledge of how if she saw him like this, she blame Fury. The GDA soon took the injured back to the choppers as well to be taken to a hospital to have their wounds and injuries treated.

GDA Hospital

Being taken back to base, the wounded was placed in different rooms so they could be treated. Sledge, was right now in a room with his armor off as well strapped up to a monitor to check on his vitals. Along of how his hand was right now bandaged up, slowly waking up. He looked around seeing himself in the room along of noticing how he was out of his armor.

"Shit. I got de armored."

"Noticing how had only patient clothing, while checking around the sight. He noticing his hand a bit twitchy, looking at it. His arm was in a cast which was making sure it wouldn't fall out of place. Suddenly he heard the door open which showed the director, Cecil. He the look on his face was a mixture of grateful and upset.

"Can't say I'm surprise that you survived, but from how Robot explained. You protected Mark, so this treatment is your reward."

"Then how come you look like your pissed off."

Sledge questioning that while he did a admirable job trying to get Mark out of there, the old man still look upset with him. Pulling out the same microchip that Machine Head within his head, placing it into his phone. It allowed him to see a video of what was happening, especially with the four monsters that weren't in the GDA files.

"Apparently they said you imprisoned them, and how with your appearance and scruffy attitude. Your a bounty hunter."

Figuring out Sledge's occupation as he wasn't just some grouch of a alien, the green scaled alien said nothing seeing how it was the truth. Cecil, didn't know how to handle this discovery seeing that instead of four aliens that seemingly weren't tough. There could be others that were on a ship he was piloting. Sledge noticed Cecil could send him back to prison along the others with this discovery, however he turned to him.

"How many contracts have you accomplished. Without needing your crew's help."

Questioning him on his occupation when he didn't crash to earth, there had to be several jobs he had done. Sledge, merely raised his eyebrow towards him seeing how that sounded like a question. Cecil could tell he may have handled them without any problems.

"We've talked to Wrench about the people who had in your custody. And will be keeping a eye on them, so make no mistake. If you ever hide something me, you'll wish being in prison was the safest place to be."

Informing Sledge on how while they would keep tabs on the outlaws that landed on the planet, he would make sure there would be no more lies between each other. The two kept quiet as the director left Sledge's room, as the hunter was left alone in his room. Having no type of window or anything to distract him. Soon enough, the door opened up again. Looking at who was there, it was Mark who was in a wheelchair with his parents by his side.

"Hey ugly, don't look so well."

Mark telling Sledge as it was a friendly gesture to him, as the alien got the manner in how greeted him. His mom rolled him in as the three looked at how the alien had helped him during the fight.

"Thank you, it's not much for what happened to you. But thank you for protecting our son."

Debbie thanking him for what happened during the penthouse brawl, it had been a while since someone had thanked him for something. He just think it wouldn't involve helping out a another person.

"I wish could have been there, I was dealing with this damn sea monster in London. As soon as I heard I rushed back here."

Nolan explaining why he wasn't there to help them out, Sledge. Merely nodded accepting that and how it would have been helpful to have a powerhouse like him there. Mark, felt still crappy about the moment seeing how he should have been better at handling the situation.

"I should have ended it, I could have."

Telling himself with how when he felt that sudden burst of strength when he saw Titan being hurt, he could have ended it. But it was gone when he got attacked by Battle Beast, Sledge. Rolled his eyes at how there was no time to feel sorry right now, he should be glad he was alive.

"You got sucker punched by a cat, let alone how I got my back almost broken. But, your alive. What about the others?"

Sledge asking about how during the fighting, both Black Samson and Monster girl got the worse of getting beaten. From the expression on Nolan's face, it seemed that they were still healing, and would have to remain here for a while in order to make a full recovery. Hearing something from outside, it might be a good time to head out.

"We're going be in the lobby, when me and Debbie came in. Some of your friends rushed in."

Informing him on the rest of his crew is here, Sledge could tell what he meant about that. In which the family trio made their way out, as suddenly coming in. Was Poisandra as she rushed right onto his bed and hugging him while crying at the same time. Curio skipped in to see them as Sledge could feel her tears on him.

"You stupid, stupid block headed jerk! Why didn't you tell me you came here?!"

Poisandra crying into his chest of how when she heard the news, she was going pass out from how the battle had done to him. Continuing to hug him, Sledge noticed that of Fury and Wrench not being here to check up on him.

"Where'd those ingrates are? I'm here having busted my ass protecting the kid and they don't see me?"

Asking either his girlfriend who was still holding him dreading what would have happen if he was destroyed. To the new member of the team Curio, as the big hated monster snapped his fingers remembering what happened.

"That old creepy guy burrowed Wrench when we arrived. And that angry car guy Fury is back at base. He looked sad."

Explaining how when Wrench came, the robot was dragged off seeing that with their secret exposed. He wanted to know who was on their ship when they crashed on Earth, and Fury? He didn't know why he was at base, along sad. He had the fight of his life, he should be enjoying it.

"Yeah, what happened anyway? I've never seen anyone hurt you before. That's sometimes my job you know."

Poisandra asking about the fight as well, while she didn't care for Fury's fighting desire or lusting for combat, she's never seen him upset about the fight he was in. Sledge, kept quiet about it as he might know the reason behind it.

"Because compared to the contracts we had, this made him see what a real fight was. And a stronger cat than him."

Summarizing how he and Fury had never been a fight like that before, along of how our of the entire beings in the galaxy that Fury had fought along side him. Battle Beast may have left a mark on him, something that he'll need to get pass if he was going smart stronger. As well Sledge seeing that there were stronger beings than him, which had him worried.

Machine Head's Penthouse-Night Time

With the building secure and only a empty office, both Bones and Slammer returned to see nothing left. Checking out the blood stains and the destroyed walls, they were lucky they survived it all.

"I still can't believe we came back here. As well should be far away now that Sledge saw us. And might be getting something to kill us."

Bones asking him of how while it was good to battle him, it wasn't exactly a good idea for them to be here. Slammer, remained silent seeing how he apparently was waiting something as the two turned around. They both saw Isotope teleporting in as Bones made a spike and was ready for anything, Slammer stopped him seeing how he wasn't here for a fight.

"Is he coming."

"Relax jail bait, he's coming. As well how it was good that you made the ominous call while everyone was busy getting their ass's kicked."

Isotope responding to him in which while the fight was going on, Slammer was given Isotope's phone which allowed him to call the GDA. Bones, was shocked to hear this as he wasn't inform about it. The doors opened which showed Titan, wearing a new suit as well had healed from his bruises. He walked out looking at the two monsters seeing how things had settled down.

"From now on, I'm going take over this business. As well mange whatever Machine Head did, the right way. And for the right people who need it."

Titan telling them on how he was taking over as well would do it in a professional way. They looked confused as he apparently was offering them a job for them to work for him. Before they could answer, they saw the elevator doors open showing Gold Digger. Who had a suit of his own who brought along possibly Titan's wife and child.

"Daddy!"

Calling out to him as she rushed over to Titan as he picked her up, smiling of seeing her again. Bones and Slammer could see what he meant by 'the right people'.

"What can I say Bones, when a offer to be apart of a organization and be protected. Can't say no now can you?"

Slammer asking his teammate as it seemed he was align with Titan, seeing that if Sledge was here and have a team of heroes on his side. It be good to have someone with the resources that could prepare for whatever might happen, seeing how there was no option. Bones nodded agreeing to joining this new underworld family as they would be making changes to the city, for the actual betterment of the people.
