"It's a New Year, with the city settling back to it's normal state. Things seemed to be going alright, more or less of how Mark was feeling. Since he thought that he'd have his dad here, but he hasn't thought about him for a while. More or less that recently with the alien crew that's been here, they've adjusted to the living styles of Earth. Especially Poisandra, to which she was enjoying a lot of time with Eve since she seemed like the only sensible female on the planet. Along making pink a menacing color for people she fights, but right now. She was using her abilities for something else important."

Forest-Morning

Outskirts away from the city as well any people, was the forest. To which there in a large hand made tree house was Atom Eve, who had apparently made this her new home due to how she wanted some space from the city. Waking up from her sleep, Eve looked out in front of the plains of the forest.

"Another day, another way to try and save the world instead of fighting."

Talking to herself as she got up from her bed as well saw herself in a short sleeve shirt and some boxers. Looking at herself in the mirror, in which she placed on her usual hero attire for work.

Telling herself as she walked over to collect some beans she had brought with her before coming to the forest. Grinding them up as well trans mutating it into coffee, she made sure it was nice and warm to wake her up. Pulling out her phone she checked up on the news of the Astronaut landing that had happened. Which showed both Invincible and Fury helping the ship land safely at the station.

Congratulating the half Viltrumite for getting back to earth as well seeing that the astronauts survived the ride. Right now she hadn't seen him much after the fight with his father, seeing that it was a emotional turn for him. Sitting back on her bed she begun to plan out her day with events, such as checking out the forest for dead plants as well see if there was any crops that needed to grow back.

"Busy day it seems."

Eve telling herself that she was going be busy, more or less how this should let her use her powers to regrow everything back and help out the people who spent months trying to grow back plants.

"Hello!"

Asking her for a lift up, in which Eve groaned seeing how it be weird for a heart shaped teenager and her cat sidekick to be here. Using her powers to make a wooden staircase, letting the two up as well not thinking she'd get guests here.

"Girlfriend? Really?"

Thinking to herself as Eve had hanged out with Poisandra a few times since they seemed to have several related things such as looking good in pink. Along that they know how to fight, plus they knew how to relax when nothing was going on. Making it up to the tree house, Poisandra showed a smile to Eve and walked over hugging the orange haired girl.

"Poisandra, I. Didn't exactly expect you to visit me. As well have, snacks."

Sounding rather awkward since she didn't expect anyone to visit her due to how they were busy with their own problems. Along that the hug lasted for a few seconds before Poisandra let her go before placing some of the snacks around her room.

"Oh please, when I heard about some of the people on the web about their homes and plants being 'saved'. I knew it had to be you, also. I wanted to see you, and give you something for that hard work. A girl should treat herself with a job well done."

Poisandra stated as well acting like a popular girl with gifts, however for Eve. She could tell Poisandra was being serious since all this stuff was for her, which made her blush a bit at the gifts.

Curio speaking out as well eating some cupcakes, but Poisandra stopped him before he could finish his sentence. Eve, looked at Poisandra with a look as well decided to grab one of the treats that she was given to and soon sits upon her bed.

Responding back of how like herself, she had a crush on Sledge in which Eve was curious about that. How could someone who seemed positive as well smile all the time, be with a armored grunt like him. Smiling at the sight of her curiosity, Poisandra decided to explain her relationship.

"Ok. So before being here and looking, normal. Sledge noticed me after I did my usual singing routines back my home world, a rather sweet planet with all kinds of colors and cute things."

Starting off of how she became girlfriend to a intergalactic bounty hunter, before Eve could try and stop her. Curio sat by her side making the bed bounce, as well offered her a muffing as Eve saw how he wanted her to explain the story. Taking the gesture, she listen to Poisandra's tale.

"He came to my planet after hunting a crazed chef who loved cavities. But still, when he saw me sing. He did everything to get my attention, flowers. Candy, as well even Curio."

Expressing that Sledge did everything for her, as well got her incredible gifts in a effort to be with her. Eve, remembered that feeling. Having been treated like a queen, as well being loved.

"You should give this talk to Rex. Maybe it'll knock some sense into him."

Responding to Poisandra due to how Rex cheated on her with Dupli Kate. Which she told her and no one else, Poisandra. Nodded as well said nothing seeing how she was right to leave him and not go back after he tried to apologize.

"Oh hell no, I'm giving this to you because I know. You like Mark, because he's trying to do good. And has to do so much to prove himself, as well how to use his abilities."

Poisandra stated that she was like him, having to prove themselves to the world that they could use their powers in ways others wouldn't understand. And that they both had problems that neither of them could handle alone. Eve, remained silent about what she said as well soon noticed her hands being held.

Making a joke as both girls laughed at the sentence, along that the idea of Eve claiming her was something she didn't thought of it after the fight with Omni man. Going right up to Mark, looking at him straight in his eyes and admitting that she liked him.

"Please. That stuff doesn't happen, besides. He's just got back from Mars. I think he needs a break."

Suggesting that with how the trip back from Mars had took, it be best that he get some peace and quiet. Poisandra, merely rolled her eyes at Eve's consideration seeing how she wanted to take it slow.

"Honey. Both he and Sledge get wrecked and almost broken from half of the fights they've been in. Plus, you need to say it. Better now then later."

Making a strong suggestion she admits her feelings to Mark before another ridiculous and dangerous mission comes up that will have Mark in a body bag. Heading over to one of her bags, Poisandra pulled out a new set of clothes as well a makeup kit.

"Which is why, I came here to help you hook up with Mark. Now, I won't go overboard like those human housewives. And want to know if your ok with this, otherwise we can go like our bland selves and see our men and just talk."

Poisandra stating that if she was going help Eve become presentable in getting her hero boy toy. It be good to look amazing and have him look directly at her, Eve. Still felt nervous about this 'makeover', in which she could see how the female alien wanted to be sure if it was alright.

Eve stating and agreeing with the makeover as both Poisandra and Curio clapped their hands at the girl making her choice. In which both aliens made sure they were going make her look beautiful for Mark, as well make sure he notices her.

Back in the city

Within the city where things had become normal, Mark wanted to take his mom somewhere nice so she could feel better after Nolan left them. In which he had to find a way to get her out of the house, he decided to take her to a restaurant where they had live singing.

"There wasn't any need of doing this Mark, I'm fine."

Debbie telling her son of how while everyone was able to be recuperate from Omni man's betrayal. She however dealt with it the most, seeing how he was her husband. And believed he loved her, only to find out it was a lie.

"Of course mom, I just thought that since I got back from almost being shot at by Martians. I could do something nice for you."

Mark telling her of how after returning back to Earth with the astronauts and Fury, the first thing he wanted to do was hangout with his mother and try to get her out of the house. Debbie, could see how he was being honest and that he was paying for the food as well everything else.

Explaining about his reason of being here, in which the three as well the rest of the people within the restaurant noticed the owner coming up on stage. As he was going make a announcement to the people as a spotlight soon shined upon him.

"I hope everyone is enjoying their time at the 'Maestro's Plaza'. And the food your having, because right now. I've gotten a request for a couple of singers, so. If you want to come upon the dance floor. Give it up for 'Cupid's Vixen's."

The announcer reading off the name in which had everyone curious about who would be singing for them, looking at the stage. The curtains soon moved away showing that of a shocking sight. it was both Eve and Poisandra having a eighties style clothing. Along of Curio, who looked like a human who was by some drums. Everyone as curious about the sight in which the patchwork monster begun to hit the drums.

Both girls singing at the same time which made a upbeat rhythm come up, along of having most of the people interested in the song. As well how they were going along with the song. While for the others, watched the pink and orange duet continue their song.

They sang as both of them had both guitars as well playing it at the same time. Sure enough they were able to get several people off from the tables and to join on the dance floor. Poisandra, gave a wink to Sledge seeing how this was her idea of bringing Eve here to see Mark.

Singing first as well having the people go up with their dates and dancing together in perfect sync. Debbie, herself felt her foot tapping to the song not knowing why. In which Mark looked at Sledge seeing how that this was possibly due to Poisandra's abilities.

"I'm dripping with alchemy, shiver stop shivering. The glitter's all wet, you're all chrome."

Eve singing in which she allowed herself to flow with the music, to where soon enough. She used her powers without no one noticing to make the restaurants disco ball light up, with several colors making it go wild as it made everyone cheer for the two.

Repeating themselves as everyone was soon shaking their heads to the song. Soon enough, Debbie having following the beat soon joined them. As well smiling at the music being played, Mark wanted to feel embarrassed by this. Though seeing his mom enjoying herself, was something he hasn't seen in a while. Eve, noticed Mark in the room as well by Sledge, which she got nervous as she continued with the performance.

Making sure everyone was hearing them in which the crowd cheered for the three, sure enough. Mark and Sledge decided to participate, though at the moment. Poisandra had the crowd move to side letting Eve walk to the dancefloor to see Mark.

"Looking glass, take the past. Shut your eyes, realize."

Poisandra singing to the crowd making them listen as well follow her instructions, Eve. Walked down the stairs and walked to Mark, in which both teens didn't know how to feel.

Continuing her song as both Mark and Eve were right close to each other, as the both feeling their hearts pumping fast. Sledge could see this as a moment between them, in which he decided to take Eve's guitar so she could be with Mark. With the song going on, both Mark and Eve tried to get close as well dance together. Soon enough, their expressions went from anxiety to enjoyment. As they both let the music guide them, as well tried to not get to close with the dancing but enjoy themselves. While for Sledge, got up on stage trying to play the guitar with his girlfriend.

Finishing the song seeing how that the whole crowd was cheering for them, while for Mark and Debbie. Merely chuckled a bit at how this was all of a sudden, more or less not even how they would think about this happening.

"Was this her idea?"

Eve telling Mark as the two noticed how they were holding each others hands. In which they didn't know whether to let go, in which the two merely smiled at each other. On the side was Debbie, who saw the sight of the two young adults holding hands. Which reminded her of Nolan and herself, in which it made her miss those times. While for Sledge, he chuckled at his girl for helping out the two get together as well having fun in the process.

"Can we get something to eat now?"

Curio asking the two in which Sledge merely groans at how the patchwork monster decided to ruin the moment, while Poisandra smiled seeing how her plan worked. Seeing that while Mark may be a masked hero, he needed someone to set him on straight. Along that he would need some comfort for the struggles that he might have to face.
