"For most warriors, the best way to live is on the battlefield and to die an honorable death. That's what Fury believed in before getting into Sledge's crew, much like Battle Beast as both alien felines seem to the way of being a warrior. Each of them faces their trials and acknowledges themselves as fighters, they thrive off the battles they engage in and survive from. Too much of Mark's knowledge of his species the Viltrumites were warriors that valued strength and dominance in almost everything, similar to Spartans and gladiators that seek a fight or state their presence. For someone like Battle Beast it was both an honor and a wish for him to battle one of them, so learning about Mark's true identity after injuring him was. He demanded to see him, so when Allen found a way to track him down after searching threw out the galaxy. The white lion made his terms to see the boy and fight the red lion that stood against him, now it was time to see if there was a warrior spirit in the boy and Fury."

Space-Unidentified Planet

Right at the surface of the alien world was Mark who was standing by Fury's side as the two were staring at Battle Beast getting tense flashbacks of when he almost killed the two. Sledge on the other side was itching for a rematch as well use his new power to stomp on him repeatedly, however, Allen couldn't allow it since he and the coalition needed it if they were going to survive the Viltrumite empire. The air fell silent to how tension was raising curious to see who would make the first move or attempt to start the fight.

"Do you think that's all natural or he worked out? Cause that kitty is something."

Poisandra asked Allen which got her boyfriend's attention as Sledge looked confused by that question since he lost much of his muscles before turning into a young adult. While that seemed like a random question, Mark and Fury looked at Beast to see what his intentions were for the two of them.

"You may try to act intimidating boy, but I know that you seek questions. That has no meaning in a battle of warriors!"

Battle Beast shouted to Invincible as it was the same look that he gave him during the fight at Machine head's building back on earth. Turning his attention to Fury, he took a sniff in the air smelling how he's progressed with his training and desire for a fight.

"The feline seems more confident in his skills than you are. Is this what I was promised when I learned about you being a Viltrumite? Disgraceful."

Bantering at both Mark and Fury for that there was a difference between the two as this earned Battle Beast a growl from Fury as he was getting irritated from the conversation. Mark looked to Fury to see if he could handle it, not saying a word the young adult moved away from Fury as the lion cracked his neck along pulling out his sword.

"If we're going fight. Answer me this, why not the half breed? Why fight me."

Questioning Beast since from how he was discussed with Allen, the white lion desired to combat this empire that has conquered countless worlds and thousands of soldiers. It made no sense for Beast to challenge one alien lion again, the white lion merely gripped his golden mace and brought out a long broad sword by his side preparing for combat.

"You are the only one that has what it takes to fight for blood and honor. Standing with these weaklings only weakens you, I wish to see if you are the same lion as before."

Briefing him about why he seeks a fight with Fury than Mark since the human half breed wasn't like the rest of his species. When he saw the anger from Fury's eyes and electricity powers that day, the white lion knew that out of all the beings that he saw on earth. Fury seemed like the only one that seemed willing to give him the fight that he desired for so long. The two slowly walked around in an intimidating manner as well glaring at one another waiting to see which of them would attack.

"Did Beast confirm this as just a challenge or a fight to the death? Because of the injuries that I looked up from the fight involved."

Wrench asked Allen about what the deal was since he was the one that tracked the white lion. Though he was interrupted by a roar from the two alien lions as they rushed at each other clashing blades with each other. Watching from the sidelines was Sledge and the others observing the fight as the two were able to withstand each blow. Going at it with blade and claw the pair didn't lead up as they tried to kill one another, Allen remained silent as the deal involved seeing which of them would submit. While the two engaged in their fight Sledge was focusing on another issue, Spellbinder. Who was standing on his side watching the fight in silence.

"Hey cyclops, does the deal also include Spellbinder? Cause that bird is worth a lot of money."

Asking him since it could be a good time to take him down and collect the bounty since it had seemed they could travel to several planets that would accept the bird. Though the shadowy alien merely chuckled at the sightseeing his former captors in this weakened state and Fury about to lose his life.

"All that matters right now is Thokk honoring his word. With him adding the coalition we might be able to withstand the Viltrumites."

Allen described to the group how while Battle Beast seemed like a heartless monster who was eager to draw blood from whoever stood in his way. Yet there was a desire in him that sought out only the strongest, Mark remained silent seeing that this felt rather easy.

"What's wrong? Don't think my guy got this? Trust me Fury might be easy to anger but the bastard is always willing to fight no matter the reason."

Sledge asked him if he was doubting Fury's skills in fighting Battle Beast as the two were continuing their fight. However, Mark didn't know what he was filling there was an off feeling surrounding the area. Back at the fight, both lions engaged each other as they clashed blades once again staring at one another with their fangs bearing for intimidation.

"I still remember what you did that day. Hurting my boss made me feel like a fighter and a kid who had his ass handed to him by his father. I used to fight to be stronger, and now? In I very weak and shitty way, I'm fighting to make sure bastards like you don't him or anyone again!"

Giving Battle Beast an explanation about how the fight affected him that day and allowing him to learn about his hidden power. His yellow eyes charging with electricity and charging his blade, he pushed the white lion off him forcing Battle Beast to keep his balance. Looking at Fury he saw the horned lion planting his feet into the ground and holding his one handed sword tightly while showing his electricity powers. This earned him a laugh from Battle Beast as he seemed invested in the fight.

"That's it cub. No holding back, no giving up. Not like that Viltrumite who almost won showed his true strength before knowing what real power was. No mercy!"

Roaring at him eager to attack Fury as the lions rushed once again preparing to see which one of them would survive the blow. Just as they were going to get serious and kill one another, there was a ghastly groaning sound coming from Spellbinder as his hands were casting a dark glow as he was focusing on something sinister. Taking his chance, he conjured a black mist that turned the ground black as well covering the rest of the area in shadow. The others noticed the shadowy bird working behind the scenes as Invincibles didn't take any moment but to act. Flying right at him like a speeding bullet, a fist came right out of the shadow knocking him right into the fight between Fury and Battle Beast.

"The hell is this treachery?"

Beast questioned what was happening since he didn't see it coming and how the young Viltrumite was in between the two. Looking over they saw how Spellbinder seemingly a power boost had just like the others, except for this matter he desired to use it against them.

"For the past year, I've been nothing more than a pet to that cat who used my teleporting powers to find new fights. As well frightened of getting eaten by him if I screwed up on not finding him good fights to satisfy him."

Spellbinder tells them about his partnership with Battle Beast on how it was more of being his servant. Seeing the anger in his eyes at being mistreated, Sledge could tell he seemed easier on him than Thokk. The two lions stopped fighting noticing from the shadows were beings emerging from the ground, it was aliens from different parts of the galaxy that either had weapons or had large claws and fangs with murderous intent in their eyes.

"I plotted my revenge for you Sledge when I figured out how to master this new power I got. However, I decided to wait until the right moment to get all of you together. So, I can have my friends tear you apart."

Introducing them to several aliens and creatures that Battle Beast had fought and several that he managed to bring along for this occasion. The others seemed surprised by the turn of events and that Spellbinder hid an entire army that was eager for a fight. Sledge having enough of this decided to run towards Fury and the other two who were staring at the group ready to attack them. Allen didn't expect this and could tell this might ruin any chance of Thokk joining the Coalition against the Viltrumite empire.

"I guess this fight is on hold until we get things figured out?"

Wrench asked Allen if this challenge was going to be on hold as the cyclops nodded thinking that it might be likely that they would have to handle this betrayal. Heading over to join Fury and Beast, the team looked at the reinforcements that Spellbinder had amassed and was about to send them off right at everyone.

"Wait!"

Poisandra shouted to everyone since it was a lot for her to take in seeing how the moment was about to get hostile in the next few minutes. Confused by the candy like a female on what she asked of them, one of the aliens that Spellbinder brought along decided to go right toward her. It was quickly snuffed out by a shot from Sledge who killed the attacker in an instant.

"No one interrupts my girl, what were you saying Poisy?"

He asked his girlfriend about what she was suggesting as Poisandra looked over to Wrench as she whispered something important to him. The blue robot looked confused by her request and thought it felt like a last minute request. Pressing several buttons on his gauntlet, the ship began to act up as well revealing several rockets at the side aiming right toward Spellbinder's group.

"If we're going have this cliche type of fight with us fighting a group of random psychos and monsters. We should at least have entertainment!"

Shouting into the sky which had everyone confused by her optimistic tone as the ship that Cecil gave them began to charge up the missiles. Spellbinder and his men got confused by what she was planning along with Battle Beast since it was annoying him on how he wanted to start his fight. However, Mark heard about this from Eve that when she started a performance the results would be unpredictable and would go in their favor.

"Now, let worry fall away. No fear allowed to stay. My dream is now your wish and my hope never ending. When clouds build up inside, my song can clear the sky. You know we're invincible, everything is alright!"

Singing out loud as the ship fired off its missiles into the air that exploded in a colorful manner catching everyone off guard. Taking the chance everyone decided to rush at Spellbinders group without holding back. Mark leading the charge as he collided with one of the larger aliens as he sucker punched one of them in the face starting the fight right away. Meanwhile for Poisandra, she was using her heart shaped axe to defend herself while continuing to sing.

"My voice carries birds in flight with every note, they go higher and higher. See how I move with such grace, just like a dancer on the stage."

Moving gracefully around the people fighting as all around her were aliens battling one another. She was using her agility to help out with messing with the enemies and cutting up their weapons. Most of them were speechless at how fast she moved to only be silence by Sledge who tackled them to the ground.

"Your voice carries life within, calls me to action again and again. If you're hurt and you need me, I'll always be there, I swear. I'll always protect you."

Turning over to the side where she saw how Mark was by Allen's side helping out with the fight. Both of them had different fighting styles which included Allen being on the defense accepting the attacks from the enemies and sending it back. While Invincible was offense flying towards each of the attackers not holding back his punches.

"We'll have the chance to go to brand new heights. You and I, unstoppable when we're together. We can have it all, fire burns within our hearts!"

Shouting right towards them as the pair quickly flew up into the air and dived into the ground making a powerful shockwave sending the aliens back. Though some of them were able to resist the blow along quickly decided to cheat by growing large towering over the group. Luckily it was just two giants, however they soon began to stomp on them but missing due to the others quick movement.

"Now, let us go hand in hand. To a light that lies ahead. All of our hopes and dreams can bring happiness when we're in sync."

Stating to them as her voice encouraged the oddball group to continue fighting seeing how this was a fight unlike any other. Especially for Battle Beast as somehow through his hunger for fight and conquest, was being guided in another direction. Lending his strength towards the massive threat he rushed up from the leg holding his mace with both hands and took a massive swing at its face.

"I've always felt this warmth from you, no one gives affection like you do. You make me invincible when you're here by my side!"

Listening to her song and seeing how it was motivating him to fight, though the creature's head did a powerful headbutt right at the white lion. Falling to the ground he landed on his feet getting back into his fighting stance, watching the giant coming towards him. Fury came right by his side and plunged his sword into the bottom of its foot making the giant scream in pain before falling onto the ground causing everything to shake.

"Though this path has twists and turns. If I can walk it, there's so much I'll learn. I know it's the long way round. But there's no way I'm backing out now."

Her voice being shared across the battlefield as Wrench was doing his best to survive the chaos around him since there was so many things happening. The robot did his best avoiding getting shot at or attacked since he was never the warrior type but an inventor. An explosion came from behind him which caused Wrench to fly right into a batch of flowers that were seemingly planted. Though he managed to not crush them, along Poisandra enjoying the flowers around her as she didn't notice several attackers coming from behind.

"See all my flowers? I'll tend to each one. Don't care if I feel just a bit overcome. We're obliged to do everything we want or fester inside. Don't let this moment die, we've got to try!"

Telling him as she jumped right over her allowing Wrench to use his abilities since the flowers needed watering. Meaning there was water underneath the soil, taking his one handed axe out he hits the ground and focused on gathering any type of liquids within the dirt. Waiting for the right moment he was able to bring out a wave of water that washed them away sending them flying across several rocks right by the side. One of the other giants tried to stomp on him and Poisandra, except it was stopped by Sledge who was in his magna form stopping the other giant from attacking his crew.

"Soon we will see a brand new era dawn, the day will come. The world is waiting for someone to change the way it's done. We keep repeating our mistakes, the cycle's got to break. It's time to work through all the pain and be the ones to change. Let's reach as high as we can go!"

Continuing her song so that it helps keep up with motivation as well keep the fighting as Mark and Allen were in the air seeing the enemy giant attacking Sledge. Flying by the armored bounty hunter's side, they combined a punch which went straight threw the giant's head. Moving backwards from the force it began to fall right near the group, shaking the ground again Spellbinder saw his forces diminishing him as well being the last one standing.

"Now, has worry gone away and fears all been assuaged? My feelings may be strong but there's power when you have passion. When fog builds up inside, my song can clear your mind. Everything will be alright; you know we're invincible."

Calling out to how everyone was able to stand on their own without being overcome with the people around them. Spellbinder decided to take the chance and use his shadow abilities again to use several rocks and the bodies of the aliens he brought with and threw them at everyone with a feather. Right at Sledge's feet the body exploded which caused him to shrink back to his normal size, Poisandra noticed her boyfriend falling as she caught him before crashing into the ground.

"Now let us go hand in hand. To a light that lies ahead. Your wish is now my dream and my hope never ending. Even your weakness is unique. There's no one else like you, you're what we need Shine a light into the dark, be a beacon."

Smiling at him as she helps Sledge up as the group turned to Spellbinder who didn't waste any time pulling almost everything around him and hurled at the group. Everyone rushed right towards the black bird and avoiding the projectiles, Battle Beast seemed eager to try and take out the traitor, however he was struck by one of the aliens that had several spikes on its body. Except he was stopped by Fury who halted him from the attack, both lions looked at the bird now seeing that they could take him together. Seeing Allen and Invincible the two warriors ran at them and requested to be thrown at Spellbinder.

"Love, the feeling that I get. Every time I think of it. The dream that I once had still beats strongly in my heart. Say it once again, say it once again and again Everything is alright. When you're here by my side!"

Letting out a final note as the two threw both Thokk and Fury into the air as they flew downwards at Spellbinder. The black feathered outlaw decided to go all out and throw several explosive feathers at the pair, however they cut passed the feathers deliver a final blow. From Battle Beast's mace and Fury's electrical charged sword striking at the same time caused Spellbinder to let out a yell in pain which resulted in him exploding due to amount of energy that was given to him. The moment fell silent as the group had won the fight, however Sledge merely yelled annoyed at how the two destroyed Spellbinder.

"Damn it Fury! We could have gotten money from that bird."

Telling the red lion how they could have turn him in due to the bounty that was still on his head. However, the red lion merely shrugged his shoulders as he turned to Battle Beast curious if he wanted to continue the fight. The look on his face showed a displeased look seeing how he didn't expect to be betrayed by the feathered outlaw.

"This fight must be on hold. It has been disgraced, except for one thing. The boy not losing focus in the heat of battle. Especially with the two giants."

Responding to whole the situation had turned out and complementing Mark for not getting knocked down like before when he saw him on earth. Invincible nodded to the lion accepting the statement as the lion took out a device from his pocket and handed it to Allen if he ever needed to contact him. Walking away from the group, the white lion took a moment to observer the strange team that managed to survive through the fight.

"What can I tell you is that Viltrumites will not be easy like this coward was. I hope you live up to their expectations."

Warning them about how this surprise attack would mean nothing when they would all meet the alien race face to face. Going to his belt he activated a teleportation device sending him off wherever a fight was out there. This left them all with a frightened thought of if he was correct, would the Viltrumites put a much deadlier confrontation if they were ever to meet them? The only thing that they would need to question was if the Coalition that Allen was apart with could help them and Earth in the upcoming conflict that would test the planet and its fate.

Earth-GDA Base

It had become nighttime during the team's travel to accept the challenge from Battle Beast and the journey back was tough for them. Cecil took it in a different approach since when he was described about what happened during the confront. The director saw how this was a message to him that Earth needed to be ready, even if it meant going to certain lengths that would be disapproved. He was right now in a room walking back and forth as he was talking to a group that he called on for the occasion.

"Over the past year you've been on Earth and saw a lot happening. Betrayals from our own people, constant death and the likely hood of an alien empire coming down to end everything. But I know you don't care about it."

Talking to none other than Snide who had been authorized to become a secret member of Cecil's private team of aliens that involved outlaws from Sledge's ship. There were around four of them that was by his side, the first was Puzzler who had been outfitted with his own suit to show him aligned with the GDA. The two next to him was Plasmora, a female vampire that plagued several planets with her blood hunger and beauty. Next was Hunter, infamous for chasing down the most frightening of beasts and survivor of countless attacks from different empires. The last one was Bevil wing, a red insect woman that could control any kind of insect.

"Yet times have change, ow we have to make choices that none of us will like. My only question is this, what else is out there that might want to invade the earth."

Questioning the four about how with the journey's they had been on alone and then being captured by Sledge they might have heard from the travels in space. Snide, crossed his arms at how the human was questioning them about if there were any threats that he would attempt to attack the earth.

"That's just the thing Cecil, how far are you willing to go if you want to protect this planet?"

Questioning how devoted the human was in overlooking the safety of Earth and its people. Noticing the look on Snide's seeing a smile on his face knowing how he recruited the outlaws without telling Sledge or even Invincible, except there was more to this deceit as another man walked into the room joining the director and the alien outlaws. Sinclair, the man responsible for the cyborgs during the university incident as he gave the old man a nod about another matter that was happening in secret.

"You tell me?"

Responding back at Snide before the walls behind him begun to open up showing a staggering reveal of another room. The aliens took a look at the massive room where it was filled with several Reanimen lined up waiting to be activated. Checking out the zombified cyborgs on standby by made Snide merely chuckle in a sinister manner that showed how far Cecil would go to protecting the earth, even at the cost of making alliances with dangerous people with their own ideals.

"The song used was "I'm invincible" by Ado. All rights to the song belong to her and the writers behind it. On the plus side Season 2 is coming out next year! When season 2 comes out I'll get back onto the story, until then I hope everyone have a good New Year's Eve and great 2023."
