Down below in the base, Kurono was still holding Aizawa hostage. He sensed something, "It can't be. There's no way you're losing, is there? Kai, I've watched you ever since you were young. You've always put a tremendous amount of effort into preserving the dignity of this organization. To bring honor and glory back to the yakuza. If you fail today, then I'll take the finished drug, along with the serum, and see your plan through. For the Hassaikai, and for you, Kai!" He pulled out a blade to stab Aizawa.

But suddenly a spear went through his arm. Kurono turned to see Amajiki standing there, his hand was that of a swordfish spear. "You're Kurono, right? I know how your powers work, so don't even try to use it on me. Take him."

Two policemen came in to arrest Kurono, while Amajiki was holding up a wounded Mirio.

Tsuyu hopped up behind Amajiki, "Suneater! Thank goodness. I'm glad he's OK."

Amajiki asked, "Froppy, what's happening?"

Tsuyu answered, "Deku and Phantom are fighting!"

Up above, Izuku was standing nearby the fallen Chisaki, Eri still tied to his back. Phantom landed next to them, "Are you two OK?"

Eri smiled, "Danny Phantom. Thank you."

Izuku asked, "Eri, are you hurt…."

But suddenly her power started to get out of control, hurting Izuku. Phantom felt the energy coming off of Eri, but realized he wasn't being affected by it. He looked down and saw the ring glowing fiercely. "The ring. It's blocking Eri's power from hurting me."

Eri's Quirk energy reached Chisaki and separated him from the henchman he was merged with.

Phantom had an idea, "Maybe I can contain it." He focused the energy of the ring through his hand and raised it towards Eri, sending her energy to block her Quirk's power. "Eri, listen to me. Don't let your power control you."

But Eri couldn't control it. Phantom focused hard to keep Eri's power contained.

Ochaco saw Chisaki flying through the air and jumped up to grab him. She used one of the moves Gunhead taught her to subdue him on the ground.

Ryukyu asked, "What's the situation?"

Ochaco answered, "Nighteye's in a safe place thanks to Phantom. We've ordered civilians to evacuate the area. Deku and Phantom beat Chisaki, but something seems off."

Meanwhile, Eri was starting to cry, "Please, don't die. I can't control it. Please, help me."

Phantom looked over and saw that Amajiki brought Mirio up and Tsuyu brought Aizawa up to the surface. He shouted, "Mr. Aizawa! You need to erase her Quirk! I can't keep her power contained for much longer!"

Tsuyu helped Aizawa lift his head towards Eri. He activated his Quirk and erased Eri's Quirk, stopping her power in its tracks.

Just then, Phantom heard, "Time out!"

TIme stopped and Clockwork appeared next to Phantom. "Well done, young Phantom. You've chosen to wear the ring and proved that you have control over it. I am very proud of you."

Phantom smiled, "Thank you."

Eri looked over and saw Clockwork, "Danny Phantom, who's this?"

Phantom realized, "Wait, I gave one of your medallions to her. That's why she can see you."

Clockwork chuckled, "I know. Because I know everything. Young Eri, know this. You will learn how to control your Quirk one day. But for now, get some rest."

He turned his hand intangible and pulled out the medallion just as Eri passed out.

What Phantom didn't know was that Izuku heard what was said as him being close to Clockwork's medallion made him immune to the time stop.

Clockwork turned to Phantom, "You can rest now, too, young Phantom. You kept your promise and saved her. The ring can be put away for another day."

Phantom nodded as he took off the ring and put it back on the necklace around his neck. He started to feel tired, "That's a trip."

Clockwork smiled, "You'll get used to it in time. Now, farewell. Time in!"

He disappeared and time moved forward again. Phantom slumped to the ground and transformed back into Danny. Eri fell forward but Izuku caught her on his back.

Ochaco sighed, "It's over."

Amajiki smiled, "Thank goodness."

Danny turned to Izuku, who was panting and cradling Eri. Danny said, "Well done, Izuku. We did it."

Ryukyu looked around, "We have a lot of seriously injured people here! We need ambulances! Quickly! Check to make sure we didn't miss any victims. The League of Villains may still be nearby! Search for them!" The police went right away and found the rest of the victims and the rest of the henchmen.

Izuku handed Eri off to one of the ambulances, "She got a fever after she passed out."

A detective came up to him, "She's safe. She just needs a hospital. You both do."

Danny stood next to Izuku, "Yes, sir."

Izuku saw Nighteye being loaded into an ambulance. He ran over, Danny on his tails. Izuku shouted, "Sir Nighteye! Can you hear me? There's something I've been meaning to tell you."

Nighteye muttered, "Midoriya. Fenton. You both twisted the future. You both did the impossible."

Danny smiled, "Told you we could."

Izuku added, "Sir. About All Might. He said he'll live. He told me he couldn't face you, but you have to see him again!"

Danny said, "All Might does want this."

Izuku shouted, "You have to pull through!"

But Danny noticed the look in Nighteye's eye. He knew that Nighteye didn't have long in this world.

The paramedics took Nighteye away.

Ryukyu came up to Izuku and Danny, "Midoriya, Fenton. Many people were hurt today, so this really isn't the time to celebrate. But, thanks for all you two did."

The police loaded up Chisaki and the rest of the henchmen to take to a villain hospital to be treated before going to jail. On route, however, a truck got in front of the main police van and Shigaraki was standing on top of it.

Shigaraki smirked underneath his hand mask, "In shogi, the point is to take out the king, right?"

Dabi opened the door to the back of the truck and said, "It's not exactly that simple."

Mr. Compress was on the phone with Toga and Twice, "Indeed! They're here, just as you said. This was the fastest route from the yakuza headquarters to the nearest villain hospital. The stage is now set! Thanks for letting us know. You're so efficient, Toga. You deserve a round of applause."

Toga replied, "Jin's the one who reminded me to call. I got a little distracted watching Izuku. Sorry we're not there, so you have to get your hands dirty."

Mr. Compress said, "Just the one hand, my dear."

Toga replied, "We couldn't get the girl at the center of their plan, but we're pretty sure you'll have no problem intercepting the finished product. We also watched the cops as they loaded everybody up and I didn't see them take anything. Even if you don't get what we're after, kill them! Oh, by the way, tell Shigaraki that I got some of that ghost boy's green blood. There was plenty on that floor where Chisaki hit him." She held up a vial of Phantom's ectoplasm, grinning at the fact that at least part of her mission was successful."

Mr. Compress hung up then said, "Shigaraki, before you get distracted by this, Toga was at least successful at obtaining some of Phantom's green blood."

Shigaraki smiled, "Good, now I can focus on the task at hand."

Dabi shouted at Spinner, who was driving, "Hey, lizard! Stop weaving! I get motion sick."

Spinner shouted back, "Don't call me lizard! The name is Spinner!"

Dabi shouted, "Shut up and focus on driving."

Spinner muttered, "What would Stain say about this? Is attacking the police in line with his desires for a true hero society? I'm not so sure he'd approve."

Shigaraki heard him, "It's a necessary sacrifice, Spinner. I'm counting on you."

Dabi shot a fire blast at one of the police cars, but it was blocked. That's because a pro hero, Snatch, blocked the fire with his sand attack.

"The League of Villains!" Snatch growled. "Thugs with a grudge against this world."

Shigaraki sighed, "Of course they sent a hero with them. What a pain. Spinner, slow down!"

Spinner did so and Shigaraki jumped onto the police car once he got in range.

Snatch blocked him with his sand, "You may be able to disintegrate whatever you touch, but that won't work against sand!"

Shigaraki replied, "Yeah, you've got a point."

Dabi sighed, "He's getting pretty famous."

Mr. Compress grinned, "Shigaraki is only a misdirection. A little slight of hand, if you will." He tossed out one of his marbles, which transformed into a boulder, flipping the police car. "Now, watch carefully as the police car flies through the air! No trickery or wires involved." Both he and Dabi stepped out of the truck.

Shigaraki jumped onto the hood of the police van and broke through the windshield, grabbing the wheel so that the van would topple sideways.

Snatch saved the policeman from the car. Dabi walked up behind him, "So predictable. Heroes always prioritize innocent lives."

Snatch put the policeman down and turned to Dabi, "We've been finding burnt corpses all over the city. That's your doing, isn't it?"

Dabi chuckled, "So the boss isn't the only one people talk about. That's nice to hear."

Snatch growled, "Have you ever thought about the families of those you murdered in cold blood?" He attacked Dabi, who countered with his fire. But Mr. Compress came in and turned Snatch into a marble."

Mr. Compress said, "That got pretty intense. But sand doesn't burn, does it?"

Dabi replied, "I'm pretty sure he could only turn his top half into sand, so he's probably dead."

Shigaraki walked behind the fallen van and pulled out Chisaki's bed. Chisaki was bound with ropes and his hands were in a secure cuff. Shigaraki said, "Tell me again who the next leader is going to be."

Chisaki muttered, "Did you come to kill me?"

Shigaraki shook his head, "No, I thought of something you'll hate even more than that. I hate you. Truly. You're too full of yourself."

Mr. Compress walked over and turned part of Chisaki's left arm into a marble, cutting off the rest of his arm from his left hand. "For the arm."

Shigaraki pulled out the bullet box that was confiscated from Chisaki, "Two little boxes. Which one holds the finished product? I'll just take both."

Chisaki muttered, "That's mine."

Shigaraki replied, "You know what I think, Overhaul? Someone so obsessed with erasing Quirks shouldn't have one of their own. Don't you agree?" He reached down and grabbed Chisaki's right arm, which started to decay. "If we don't cut that off, your whole body will turn to dust." He pulled out a knife and cut Chisaki's right arm. "Just like that, you're helpless. A weak, Quirkless loser. And all the fruits of your labors belong to me! Now you don't have a thumb to suck on. You're doomed to watch from the sidelines as your dream falls apart. Let's do our best!"

Just then, Spinner blared the horn of the truck, "Backup's coming! We gotta go!"

Shigaraki, Dabi, and Mr. Compress walked into the truck and Spinner drove away. Shigaraki said, "Next, it's our turn."

Chisaki screamed as his dream crumpled and he realized that he couldn't save his boss, who he had used his Quirk on to put him out of commission while he achieved his dream.

Over at the heroes' hospital, everyone that was injured was being looked after by the staff. Izuku was sitting with a doctor, who said, "I did a thorough examination, but other than your arm, there seems to be nothing out of the ordinary."

Izuku smiled, "Good to hear. Thanks a lot."

Danny was sitting next to him. The doctor said, "As for you, that injury Chisaki gave you seems to have healed up nicely. You'll have a small scar next to that other one you have on your chest, but other than fatigue, you're good to go."

Danny smiled, "Thank you."

Izuku then asked, "Please, sir, how is everyone else?"

Aizawa then popped his head in, "I can fill you in."

Danny turned around, "Mr. Aizawa, it's good to see that you're OK."

Aizawa replied, "Just needed some stitches. Now, come with me."

Danny stood up and went out into the hallway. As for Izuku, he paused for a minute. He knew that checking in on the others was his top priority right now, but the next thing on his list was to talk to Danny. He had seen and heard some things that weren't adding up and he was getting suspicious of his friend. He then stood up and followed Danny to the hallway.

Aizawa said, "Sorry I couldn't be with you two at the end, when it counted."

Izuku replied, "It's all right. Please tell me, how are all the others?"

Aizawa answered, "Kirishima's covered with bruises and lacerations from head to toe, but he'll live. Amajiki cracked a bone in his face, and he has some other minor injuries, but none of them should leave a scar. Fat Gum has a few broken bones, too, but he seems mostly fine otherwise. Luckily, the blade that stabbed Rock Lock didn't hit any vital organs, so he should make a full recovery."

Danny smiled, "That's good to hear. But what about Eri?"

Aizawa answered, "Still feverish and sleeping fitfully. She's being quarantined for now."

Izuku asked, "So does that mean I won't be able to see her?"

Aizawa answered, "You know, they made that call based on your description of what happened back there. She's got a dangerous Quirk and no control over it. If something provokes her enough to activate it again, I'm the only one who can stop her. You were only able to touch her because you kept destroying your body faster than she could rewind it, right?"

Izuku nodded, "Yeah."

Aizawa continued, "There aren't exactly a lot of people who could pull that off. And even if they were, who's to say how powerful she really is? We have no idea what her limits are."

Izuku sighed, "I know what you mean. If you hadn't been there to make her stop, I'm not sure what would've happened."

Aizawa looked over to Fenton, "At least Fenton was there to make sure it didn't go completely out of control. But, it seems we don't know your limits, Mr. Fenton."

Danny chuckled nervously, "Yeah, neither do I." Izuku noticed the look on Danny's face, but didn't say anything.

Aizawa continued, "Teaching her control will be especially hard since her Quirk only seems to work on people. Maybe other things, too, but we don't know for sure. When you're training on live subjects, the danger is exponentially greater. Her emotional state will be a factor, too. With so many unknowns, it makes sense to keep her quarantined. For her sake, as well as others. In other words, we can't depend on the girl or her Quirk right now. All we can do is accept it. Now, come on. Some others have joined us."

He led the two boys to a waiting room, where All Might was standing along with Centipeder, Bubble Girl, and Recovery Girl.

Danny asked, "All Might, why are you here?"

Izuku added, "Along with Recovery Girl?"

Bubble Girl answered, "I asked All Might to come, because Sir always admired him so much." She started to cry.

One of the doctors who was there said, "There's nothing more we can do. To be honest, it's a miracle he's survived this long."

Recovery Girl added, "My healing can't help him, either. He's too far gone for me to save."

The doctor continued, "I'm sorry, but you should prepare yourselves. I don't think he'll live to see tomorrow."

Izuku was shocked, but Danny already knew, based on when he last saw Sir Nighteye. As a half-ghost, he could sense death.

All Might walked into Nighteye's room. He muttered, "I'm so sorry."

Nighteye heard All Might's voice, "Is that you, All Might? You feel like talking, now that I'm on my deathbed?"

All Might sighed, "I don't know what to say. I was wrong, I pushed you away, and now…"

Izuku rushed over, "Nighteye, hand in there! Please, you have to live!"

Nighteye said, "I've never heard you sound so penitent before, All Might. But I didn't resent you for what happened between us. I mean that. All I wanted was for you to be happy. And if you've decided to fight fate, then I…."

All Might interrupted, "You should be fighting it, too! Please, give me a chance to make up for what I've done."

Nighteye said, "There's nothing to make up for. I wanted to change the future. To keep you from being killed. I looked for ways to alter the fate I'd seen. I tried, but there was nothing I could do. And then today, Midoriya and Fenton succeeded where I failed. I believe that it might have to do with the energy contained in thoughts. The power of a vision so strong, it leaves no room for doubt, and strives for the desired future. It wasn't just Midoriya and Fenton. Everyone there truly believed that what they were fighting for could come to pass. Maybe what we saw today was the result of that energy converging on Midoriya and Fenton and being released. You've changed my thinking. You two have shown me the future isn't set in stone. And that's enough for me."

He turned his head towards Danny, "Fenton, come closer."

Danny did and he leaned his head in. Nighteye whispered, "You've proven that you are ready for the future that awaits you. If only I could have seen your future come to pass."

Danny smiled, then whispered back, "That's up to you. I know you don't have long. You get to choose where you end up in the afterlife. My parents chose to go to the great beyond. That could be your choice, but I think you know what the other choice is. If you choose that other choice, then I'll be seeing you soon, I hope."

Izuku was curious as to what Nighteye and Danny were whispering about. All Might had an inkling.

Danny stood back up as Nighteye sighed, "I do have only one regret left."

Suddenly Mirio burst into the room, covered in bandages. "Sir! Don't give up! Please, keep fighting! Don't die on me!"

Nighteye said, "Mirio. I failed you. This is my fault. If only I'd been there…"

Mirio interrupted, "Don't say that! You were always there, teaching me and showing me how to be strong! Everything I am now is because of you. Don't you see? I'm not ready! Please don't leave me!"

Nighteye raised his left hand and put it on Mirio's cheek. He used his Foresight to see Mirio's future. "You'll be OK. You're going to become the finest hero the world's ever seen. That's one part of the future that shouldn't be changed. Work hard and be sure to smile. After all, without joy and laughter to balance the sorrow, this world cannot hope to have…a bright…future." He then breathed his last and died.

Everyone in the room was crying hard. Danny leaked a few tears, then his ghost sense startled him. He looked around, only seeing everyone crying. He then saw a glimpse of Nighteye's spirit floating nearby, who nodded his head, then disappeared in a puff of green smoke. Danny put on a little smile as he knew what choice Nighteye made.
