Note: This takes place at the end of "The Good, the Bad, and the Godly" and was added into the AO3 version of Grim Adventures of Lincoln and Lucy.
Minisode - A Nice Reward
There was a knock on the door, "Lincoln? May I come in?" Eris asked from outside.
"It's open." Lincoln told her.
Eris opened the door and walked in, "Lincoln! Oh, and hello Lucy."
"Just pretend I'm not here, everyone else does." Lucy remarked.
Eris looked genuinely concerned, "Oh Lucy…that sounds horrible."
Lucy shrugged, "I've gotten used to it. It's fine."
"What do you need now, Eris?" Lincoln asked.
Eris cleared her throat, "Lincoln, I didn't thank you for all your help today."
Lincoln shrugged, "Yeah, I know, nobody around here really thanks me much for anything."
"Allow me to thank you properly…hmm, it's cramped in here." Eris looked around the linen closet which served as Lincoln's makeshift bedroom.
"Yeah, there isn't much I can do about it. I'll have to wait until Leni moves out to get a proper room." Lincoln told her.
"That could take a while, I heard mom saying something about her repeating senior year." Lucy added.
Eris pulled out one of her bronze apples, "How about I do something to make it happen faster?"
She dropped the apple onto the floor, and Lincoln's bedroom started to get roomier. Lincoln and Lucy watched in awe as the linen closet became the size of a hotel suite.with a king-sized bed, a wall-mounted TV, several shelves for Lincoln's comic books and video games, a big comfy couch, a walk-in closet, and even a private bathroom with a toilet and bathtub.
"No way…." Lucy gasped out.
"Did you just renovate the entire house with your apple?" Lincoln asked, "I think we're breaking zoning laws or something!"
"No need to worry Lincoln, this is one of those 'bigger on the inside' things." Eris told him.
Lincoln quickly left the room and the house to look at it from outside. Sure enough, the Loud House itself looked exactly the same, and nobody looking at it would've noticed something had changed. Lincoln ran back into the house and into his room and gave Eris a hug, "Thank you! This is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me!"
Eris smiled, "It's the least I could do!"
Leni then walked in, "Hey Lincoln, what's the rush?" she then noticed the much bigger room, "Wow! Have you always had a room this big?"
Eris coughed, "Oh, I just helped Lincoln clean up the place a little, a clean room certainly does wonders!"
"Oh yeah! That reminds me, Lincoln says you're staying in my room, so we better go make it comfortable. You were really mean about space the last time you were there." Leni started to walk out of the room.
Eris followed her out, "Leni that wasn't…well, I won't be as mean this time around."
The door shut, leaving Lincoln and Lucy alone.
