Naruto was tapping her foot desperately on the ground. It was five past eight and Jiraiya was yet to come.
He wasn't obliged to come, he was a Jōnin after all. But Naruto was having a hard time...
Her bladder had been full for hours, and she couldn't bring herself to go to the bathroom like this. Naruto was a pupil of Jiraya, but doing business as his own mother…that would be too much. Jiraiya might just have a seal to keep her in autopilot when she needs to change clothes, pee or poop.
Still, Naruto was jumping like a frog, clutching her lower abdomen and squeezing her thighs together.
"Come on, Pervy Sage... where are you?" she muttered, glancing around the empty training ground. The moonlight cast long shadows, making everything look eerie and unfamiliar.
Her body was not cooperating. The pressure was unbearable, and she could feel her resolve slipping.
"Just a few more minutes... he'll be here any second," she told herself, trying to hold on.
"Hey, Kyuubi," she addressed the fox. "Little help here?"
"Pull down your underw—"
"Hey?!" Naruto snapped. "I mean can you—"
"Even if I could, why would I?" The fox chuckled.
Right, that makes sense. It's not like they are friends or anything.
She was sweating now, her legs trembling from the effort.
Hopefully, Jiraiya wo—
A warm damp feeling washed over her legs. Naruto froze, eyes widening in horror.
"Oh... no..." she whispered, looking down to see the evidence of her loss of control spreading over her clothes and the ground beneath her. Her legs tickled slightly as the urine descended. Her sandals were wet, underwear heavy.
She felt a mix of shame and frustration welling up inside her. This body was smaller, weaker, and now it had betrayed her at the worst possible moment. What if Jiraiya showed up now and saw her like this?
As if on cue, she heard the sound of footsteps approaching. She quickly turned away, hoping to hide the mess.
"Kushina? Sorry I'm late, I got caught up with something," Jiraiya called out as he entered the training ground, looking around for her.
Naruto's face flushed with embarrassment. She had to think fast. "Uh, no problem, Pervy Sage!" she said, trying to keep her voice steady. "I just—uh, tripped and fell into a puddle. I'm fine, though!"
Jiraiya raised an eyebrow but didn't press further, although his nose twitched, a clear indication that he saw through her lie. "Alright. What's so important that you had to meet me here?"
Naruto took a deep breath, trying to regain her composure. "It's about seals. I need your help with a... special project."
Jiraiya's curiosity was piqued. "Seals, huh? What kind of project are we talking about?"
"Can we keep this a secret?" Naruto asked, shifting uncomfortably.
Jiraiya nodded. "Sure."
"I am…from the future."
Jiraiya gave her a blank look before bursting out into laughter. "Oh, that's rich! Tsunade warned me you were a prankster, but this takes the cake!"
Naruto's face turned serious. "It's not a prank. I'm telling the truth."
Jiraiya wiped a tear from his eye, still chuckling. "A good joke, Kushina, but I have important things to do."
Just as he was about to leave, Naruto called out, "Wait! I know Sage Art!"
Jiraiya stopped in his tracks, turning back to her with a smirk. "Nice joke. But I really have to go. The Second Shinobi War is in full swing, and I have a meeting to attend tomorrow morning."
Naruto took a deep breath. "I know Senjutsu. Give me a few minutes, and I'll show you."
Jiraiya sighed, looking at her with a mix of impatience and curiosity. "Fine. But make it quick. I don't have all day."
Naruto nodded, sitting cross-legged on the ground. Her dress was wet with urine, making it extremely uncomfortable to sit, but she ignored the feeling. She closed her eyes, focusing on gathering natural energy.
Jiraiya watched with bored eyes, thinking about how her village and family had been destroyed a few months ago and almost forcefully made a Jinvhuriki. Maybe she wasn't exactly mentally stable.
Just as he was about to call her out after 10 minutes, he noticed a change around her. The air seemed to hum with energy. Nature energy began to gather around her form, and her eyes snapped open, revealing toad-like features.
Jiraiya's eyes widened in shock. "What... how...?"
Naruto stood up, her body still radiating the power of Sage Mode. "See? I wasn't lying."
Jiraiya stepped closer, examining her carefully. "This... this is Senjutsu. But how? You're just a kid..."
Naruto smirked. "Told you. I'm from the future. I learned it from Pa."
Jiraiya's mind raced. "From Pa?"
"Yep," Naruto then brought her hands together, creating an unstable, but okay-level Rasengan. "See this, I learned it from you."
"What? But I don't even know what that is…" He tried to touch it, but she stopped him.
"It's called Rasengan," Naruto said as the Rasengan faded. Damn, her chakra control was worse now. "My dad made it…"
"Who? But isn't he…" Jiraiya gave a vauge look.
"Not Kushina's dad," Naruto sighed. "My dad,"
"But you are Kushina, aren't you?"
"Well…uh, I am… her son."
"Huh?!"
Naruto gave him a quick rundown.
"This... this changes everything. How far in the future are we talking?"
"About thirty years," Naruto said, dropping out of Sage Mode and feeling the exhaustion wash over her. "I need your help to get back."
Jiraiya rubbed his chin, still processing the revelation. "Alright. Let's talk. What is the Geezer Sage's name?"
"Uh…Gamamaru?"
"Hmm. What is the worst thing about Shima?"
"Her forcing to eat those stuff." Shep shuddered. "It's a torture, 'ttebane!" She froze for a moment. Perhaps verbal tics were physical rather than mental?
"Good. Now, tell me something only I would know. If you really are my student then you should know something."
"Uh… your Katakana letter 'T' is bad and…"
Jiraiya's eyes widened. "That's the handwriting I use for my literature. You really are student because if I ever have one, I would make them read my manuscript…"
"Told-ja'. Now, I need to get back to my own time." She explained. "As Naruto."
"Uh…I may be a seal-master, but I am not exactly too good at it. Think it this way: I am the best among worst."
She looked disheartened, looking at the grass.
"But hey, we'll figure something out." He quickly added. "But first, let's get you out of those wet clothes. Can't have you catching a cold. Besides, you stink."
Naruto blushed, realizing how ridiculous she must have looked. "Yeah, that would be nice." Then she snapped her fingers. "But do you have something that would seal my mind when… you know… I am in the bathroom or taking a shower…?"
Jiraiya gave her a blank look. "No, not unless you want to fry your brain."
"Then how am I supposed to—"
"Listen, are you a pervert?"
"Uh…some people do call me that, but no."
"Good! You're a ten year old kid!" He laughed. "You've barely got anything to see!"
"I guess…"
As they headed back, Naruto couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and excitement. She had finally found someone who could help her. With Jiraiya on her side, she might just be able to find a way back to her own time and body. Until then, she would have to navigate this strange new world and keep her true identity a secret.
Jiraiya was already deep in thought, muttering to himself. "If you're really from the future, there's so much we can learn. So many things we can change..."
Naruto nodded, feeling the weight of his words.
As they walked through the village, she felt a sense of hope. It was a strange and challenging situation, but she was Naruto Uzumaki. She had faced tougher odds before, and she was determined to succeed.
