Author Note: The reason why Kushina is not in a Genin team is because she is a Jinchuriki and if you read Minato's oneshot manga, then you must know how they kept her under strict monitoring. It was wartime and the Second Great Shinobi War began because every village or nation wanted to gain power. Sending the Kyuubi Jinchuriki out in a war time is reckless.

Home: Part I

Naruto and Jiraiya were seated at Ichiraku Ramen, the most beloved ramen stand in Konoha. The bustling sounds of the village and the tantalizing aroma of freshly cooked ramen filled the air. A week ago, Jiraiya had dangled an irresistible carrot before her: if she could answer all his questions about Sealing Arts correctly, he would let her eat as much ramen as she wanted. Today was the day to make good on that promise.

"Oi, Old Man…eh…Teuchi! Prepare your best miso ramen in tons!" Naruto declared with a wide grin. "'Cause Pervy Sage will be paying for 'em all!"

Teuchi, the kind-hearted owner of Ichiraku Ramen, chuckled at Naruto's enthusiasm. "You got it, Kushina!" he replied, giving her a thumbs up.

"Don't get so cocky, brat," Jiraiya smirked, a mischievous glint in his eye. "You need to answer all my questions correctly first."

"I'll whizz through it, dattebane!" Naruto said confidently, puffing out her chest. She glanced at Teuchi, who was already busy preparing a pot of his finest miso broth.

"Alright, let's get started," Jiraiya said, leaning back in his seat and folding his arms. "First question: What is the fundamental principle behind a basic sealing technique?"

Naruto tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Eh… the fundamental principle is to convert chakra into a physical form and then use it to create a barrier or to store objects or energy within a designated space…?"

"Correct," Jiraiya nodded. "Next: What are the key components of a sealing formula?"

"There are three main components," Naruto began, "the inscription, which includes the specific kanji and symbols; the medium, which is the surface on which the seal is inscribed; and the chakra source, which powers the seal."

"Good, good," Jiraiya said, clearly pleased. "Now, tell me the difference between a binding seal and a barrier seal."

"A binding seal restricts movement or action of the target, like the Five-Pronged Seal. A barrier seal, on the other hand, creates a defensive or containment barrier, like the Four Violet Flames Formation," Naruto explained, her voice brimming with confidence.

Jiraiya's questions grew progressively more difficult. "What is the purpose of the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style?"

Naruto hesitated for a moment, then answered, "The Eight Trigrams Sealing Style, designed by Ashina Uzumaki, is used to contain powerful entities, like a tailed beast, within a host. It allows for a controlled flow of chakra from the sealed entity to the host."

"Impressive," Jiraiya admitted. "Now, how does the Dead Demon Consuming Seal work?"

Naruto swallowed hard. Her father had died using this. "The Dead Demon Consuming Seal is a forbidden jutsu that summons the Shinigami. The user sacrifices their own soul to seal the target's soul within the Shinigami's stomach, effectively trapping them for eternity."

Jiraiya nodded, a hint of admiration in his eyes. "Alright, what about the formula for the Sealing Technique: Phantom Dragons Nine Consuming Seals?"

Naruto's brow furrowed in concentration. "The formula involves intricate kanji for 'dragon', 'consume', and 'phantom'. It's designed to drain the target's chakra and life force into the user. The seals are usually placed on the target's vital points."

"Excellent," Jiraiya said, clearly impressed. "Now, can you explain the mechanics behind the Sealing Technique: Cursed Tongue Eradication?"

Naruto blinked. Ah, Sai was… "The Sealing Technique: Cursed Tongue Eradication is a complex seal that prevents the target from revealing certain information. If the target tries to speak the restricted words, their tongue becomes paralyzed, and they experience intense pain," Naruto explained, her voice steady.

Jiraiya's questions continued to probe deeper into the complexities of Sealing Arts. "How does the Five Elements Unseal work?"

Naruto's eyes sparkled with determination. "The Five Elements Unseal is a counter-seal technique that uses the five basic elements—fire, water, wind, earth, and lightning—to disrupt and nullify another seal. It requires precise chakra control to manipulate all five elements simultaneously."

Jiraiya leaned forward, clearly enjoying the challenge. "And what about the Four Symbols Seal? How is it different from the Four Red Yang Formation?"

"The Four Symbols Seal is a basic seal used for a variety of purposes, including sealing objects or chakra. It's formed by combining two Four Symbols Seals to create a stronger seal. The Four Red Yang Formation, on the other hand, is a high-level barrier technique that requires four users. It creates an impenetrable barrier, usually for containing a powerful entity or protecting a specific area," Naruto answered confidently.

Jiraiya nodded, his smile widening. "Last question: What is the significance of the Reaper Death Seal in relation to the Uzumaki clan?"

Naruto took a deep breath. "The Reaper Death Seal, or Dead Demon Consuming Seal, was created by the Uzumaki clan. It's a symbol of their…our mastery of sealing techniques and their willingness to make ultimate sacrifices for the sake of their village and loved ones."

Jiraiya leaned back, clearly impressed. "Well done, Kushina. You've answered all my questions correctly. Looks like I'll be footing the bill for your ramen feast."

Naruto's face lit up with joy. "Yatta! Thanks, Pervy Sage! Old Man Teuchi, keep 'em coming!"

Teuchi chuckled and began serving bowl after bowl of steaming hot miso ramen. Naruto attacked each bowl with gusto, savoring every bite. Jiraiya watched her with a fond smile, shaking his head in amusement.

"Don't eat too fast, brat. You'll get a stomachache," Jiraiya warned.

Naruto paused, her cheeks stuffed with noodles. "I'll be fine, dattebane!" she said, her words slightly muffled. She quickly resumed her feast, slurping up the noodles with unrestrained enthusiasm.

As they sat there, surrounded by the warm, comforting atmosphere of Ichiraku Ramen, Jiraiya couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. Despite all the challenges and hardships, Naruto was growing into a remarkable kunoichi, mastering complex sealing techniques and demonstrating incredible determination.

"Hey, Pervy Sage," Naruto said suddenly, breaking into his thoughts. "Thanks for everything. I know I can be a pain sometimes, but…I really appreciate it."

Jiraiya smiled, his eyes softening. "You're doing great, Naruto. Just keep pushing yourself, and you'll achieve your dreams. I have no doubt about that."

Naruto grinned, her blue eyes shining with determination. "I'll become the greatest Hokage ever, dattebane!"

Jiraiya laughed, raising his cup of sake. "To the future Hokage, then."

Naruto raised her bowl of ramen in response. "To the future Hokage!"

After finishing the ramen, Naruto looked at Jiraiya, her blue eyes clouded with an unusual seriousness. Everyone called her "Kushina" now, a name she had become almost too comfortable with.

"Pervy Sage," she began, her voice uncharacteristically subdued, "I wasn't in my mother's body at all in the past. I want to be Naruto once more by going back to my time."

Jiraiya raised an eyebrow, his expression shifting from curiosity to concern. "What do you mean, Kushina?"

Naruto took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts. "I had a friend… someone I need to save from the path of darkness. If I stay here too long, I'll mess up everything. The timeline, my own identity… it's already getting confusing. I'm starting to forget what it's like to be a boy. And I'm not… I'm not gay, dattebane!"

Jiraiya leaned back, stroking his chin thoughtfully. "I see. Well, we've been working on cracking the formula of Tobirama's Flying Thunder God technique. It's incredibly complex, but I think we're close. Your chakra as Naruto should be back in your own dimension. With that, we could send the essence of Naruto back into his own body in his own time."

Naruto tilted her head. "You think it'll work?"

Jiraiya nodded. "The Flying Thunder God technique allows instantaneous transportation across space-time. If we can channel your chakra and essence through it, theoretically, you should be able to return to your own timeline and body."

Naruto bit her lip, her mind racing. "But it's not enough. I'm getting too used to being Kushina—it's not healthy. I'm forgetting who I really am. I need to be Naruto again, not just for me, but for everyone back in my time."

Jiraiya sighed, understanding the gravity of her predicament. "You're already excellent at chakra control, Naruto. You've mastered Level Five Sealing Arts, which is no small feat. But you need to work even harder if we're going to pull this off."

Unbeknownst to either of them, a Root ANBU was hidden in the shadows, eavesdropping on their conversation. The ANBU's mask concealed any hint of emotion, but their mind was racing with the implications of what they had heard.

"Lord Danzo must be informed at once," the ANBU said emotionlessly, before vanishing into the night.

Naruto, oblivious to the lurking danger, looked at Jiraiya with renewed determination. "Alright, Pervy Sage. I'll train harder than ever. Let's get me back to my time and save Sasuke from the darkness."

Jiraiya smiled, a rare look of pride in his eyes. "That's the spirit, Kushina. We'll figure this out together."

The ramen shop, usually a place of carefree banter and hearty meals, had become the backdrop for a conversation that could change the course of history.
