Scene changes to Olympus
Father, God King
"The amount of respect." said Thalia.
"Yeah, everyone is afraid of Zeus." said Jason.
"Even his favourite child." said Nico.
"Well, I wouldn't think Athena was the favourite-" started Clarisse.
Everyone stared at her.
"Yeah, she is." said Clarisse.
Rarely do I ask for favours
"Why does that sound like every child when talking to an adult?" asked Will.
"It does," said Thalia. "It really does."
"Hey!" said Jason.
"Sorry, lil bro."
"I'm sure Estelle will be like that to you, Percy." said Annabeth.
"Yeah, Paul and Mum will be all 'No, Estelle' and then she will be running to me..." laughed Percy.
"But you will say no."
"Why would I? She's my lil sis."
"Percy, if she asks for you to show off your water abilities to her friends will you do it?"
"It will be fun..."
"Percy!"
"Come on! He can just tell them that it was fake." said Reyna.
"And break their little hearts..." started Percy.
"Percy!" growled Annabeth and Reyna.
Now, I'm knocking on your door
With hopes to save a friendship with one who's a prisoner far from home
Odysseus
Divine intervention, is that what you seek?
"So divine intervention is not okay in that world as well?" asked Hazel.
"And look at the way Zeus is yelling at Athena! She's my favourite as well!" said Frank.
"But that would make Hermes so cool!" said Leo.
"That's true... the way he gives Odysseus moly was very brave." said Will.
"But Demeter will be mad..." said Grover.
To untie apprehensions that were placed on that Greek?
You are playing with thunder for a man full of shame
"Hey! He's taking all of the glory from Hephaestus!" yelled Leo.
"How come?" asked Percy.
"It's 'you are playing with fire' not 'you are playing with thunder'!"
"No, I don't think it is." said Jason.
"I agree." said everyone.
"Oh, come on!" shouted Leo.
But if he's worth the risk of going under, why not make it a game?
"The fact about the Gods using us as 'games' is very relatable." said Reyna.
"It is." sighed Hazel.
"The Wind Bag, Circe's way of going in bed, and now Zeus! They think that everyone is so weak!" growled Thalia.
"At least here we have some sort of power with fading," said Percy. "But they don't."
Convince each of them that he ought to be released, and I'll release him
Who's them?
Apollo
Apollo appears
Everyone stares at Will.
Hephaestus
Hephaestus appears
Everyone stares at Leo.
Aphrodite
Aphrodite appears
Everyone stares at Piper.
Ares
Ares appears
Everyone stares at Clarisse.
"Oh this is going to be fun..." smirked Annabeth.
"Oh no..." said Clarisse.
Hera
Hera appears
Everyone just looks in disgust.
"I hate you!" shouted Percy.
"Months of my life gone!" growled Jason.
"I hate cows now!" shouted Annabeth.
Or me
What do you say?
"Does anyone else hear some words in the background or is it just me?" asked Leo.
"Yeah, I do." said Grover.
"But what is it?" asked Reyna.
"It sounds like 'sito sanctu'." said Thalia.
"That's Latin." said Hazel.
"For 'in the holy place'." said Jason.
"Well, they are at Mt Olympus so it makes sense." said Annabeth.
Great
Very well
Eh
Alright
Groovy
Bring it
Apollo!
Everyone looked at Will to see his reaction to this part whilst the God of music sings.
"I hope this is good." said Will. "My father is the God of music."
"I'm sure it is." smiled Nico.
You all know I'm a fan of catchy songs
"Yes we do!" said everyone.
"And I love his voice!" said Piper. "I've never heard Apollo sing before but this was just as I've imagined it."
"I agree." said Jason.
So with so many sirens gone, I think Ody's in the wrong
"Another Ody?" laughed Piper.
Everyone knew that was going to be said so they didn't reply but just carried on.
"It's not a good reason though." said Will.
"Yeah, he had to kill the sirens." said Frank.
"That's the thing about the Gods, they all have different opinions. Someone will be angered during the process." said Reyna.
"Yeah, like Poseidon was angry at Odysseus for not being ruthless but now Apollo is angry at Odysseus for being ruthless." said Thalia.
"The Gods are hard to please." said Hazel.
They were trying to do him worse
All he did was reimburse them
Now they'll tread with caution first
"But the sirens are dead! How are they meant to tread with caution if they are already dead?" asked Will.
"Well, it warns other sirens." said Annabeth.
To live another day and sing another verse
"Wait, if Apollo is the God of music and everything they do is sing, wouldn't that make him the top God?" asked Hazel.
"Maybe?" said Annabeth.
"Or maybe... umm." started Thalia.
No one knew what to say so they decided to forget Hazel even said a question and continued listening.
If that's true, release him
"He isn't even going to stand up for his argument?" asked Grover.
"Knowing Apollo, he is either
Hephaestus!
"You all are in for a treat!" smiled Leo.
"How do you know? This is your first time watching this as well." said Percy.
"I just know, It's in our blood, the awesomeness!"
Trust is not given, it's forged
"'Forged'" quoted Leo. "See? He has the humour."
"Yeah, it's just like yours." said Jason.
"Thank you!"
"That wasn't a compliment..."
Why should I give him my support?
He sacrificed his own cohort
"What's a cohort?" asked Piper.
"It's a-" started Annabeth.
"No, no, no." said Thalia. "Let's let Leo answer."
"Oh, umm... it means..." started Leo.
"Yes?"
"A fort?"
"No! It's a military unit!" said Frank. "A cohort is one tenth of a region."
"We could have had more fun, Frank!" said Thalia.
"I hate the children of Zeus, they suck." grumbled Leo.
"But that's based on the Roman military, they are Greek. What's going on?" asked Annabeth.
Did you forget they failed to listen?
He was betrayed and then imprisoned
"But Odysseus betrayed them first at Scylla's lair." said Leo.
"No, it was the crew first. They opened the bag back at the Ocean Saga, remember?" asked Annabeth.
"Oh, yeah..."
But if you make the right decision
"What is the right decision though?" asked Clarisse.
"To save Odysseus of course." said Annabeth.
"Or does he deserve to be with Calypso for eternity? He has done so much in order to make it back home and did a terrible amount of deeds, maybe it was his destiny to never be happy."
"Wow, Clarisse, I always think you have some dumb Leo response but I'm wrong each time! You are doing great in this. Good job." congratulated Nico.
He can still build a future with those who miss him
"Telemachus deserved this!" shouted Will.
"And so does Penelope!" shouted Frank.
"I just want to see all of them as a family again." said Hazel.
Fine, release him
"He doesn't seem that convinced." said Percy.
"To be fair, it would make sense for him to be acting like this. Hephaestus has trust issues after Hera." said Grover.
"Don't we all have trouble with Hera?" asked Jason.
"Yeah, we do."
Aphrodite
"Woah, look at that beautiful voice." said Reyna.
"My mother always seems to want to flex." sighed Piper.
"Guess she's the same in both worlds." said Annabeth.
Your little high and mighty Odysseus
Claims to love his mother
But let her die of a broken heart
"That is sad..." said Nico.
"At least when our mothers died, they didn't die with unfinished business." said Thalia.
"Her last wish was to see her son, and it didn't come true..." said Jason.
"I hope this doesn't happen to my Mum, she always sacrificed so much for me and to have her die would me being with her..." said Percy, upset.
"Don't worry, Percy, Sally's strong." said Annabeth. "She'd do anything for you."
"And that's probably what would get her killed..."
He was busy fighting
More like busy spiting
"Oh! A comeback!" screamed Hazel.
"Guess she really is the same in both worlds." said Percy.
"Yeah, Mum always stands up for herself... especially if Athena is involved." said Piper.
The cyclops
Let him feel the pain that his mother felt and rot
"That's... deep." said Will.
"Yeah, even for me." said Nico.
Wait
Athena uses quick thought on Aphrodite
Please reconsider this
"Cheating?! That's not my mother!" said Annabeth.
"Yeah, using her abilities to convince Aphrodite is just plain... cheating." said Jason.
"Guess she really wants Odysseus free." said Frank.
"No! No matter how bad the situation is, she would never stoop so low!" shouted Annabeth.
"Maybe there's an explanation-" started Grover.
"No! There isn't! Aphrodite has a good point and she's ruining it!"
Really Athena? These old tricks?
Ares appears
Ares uses dark quick thought on Athena
Ares!
Ares, Ares
"Dad?" asked Clarisse.
"Oh, this is going to be very good." smiled Annabeth.
"What's with the sudden change of mood?"
"You said from the beginning about Athena, now it's my turn to judge."
"Oh no..."
What kind of sick coward
Holds back his power
"Yeah, why does he?" asked Clarisse. "He always seems to be using wit in order to win his plans, he's such a coward!"
"At least he knows how to use his brain!" shouted Annabeth.
"I think I prefer Annabeth vs Clarisse over Athena vs Ares." said Hazel.
"Yeah, this is going to be fun..." smiled Reyna.
"Or one of them is going to die." said Percy.
While his friends get devoured?
He didn't even fight Scylla
Didn't even try to kill her
"He was talking about how he wants to become the 'monster' now yet he is too afraid to fight Scylla!" shouted Clarisse.
"Well, you couldn't fight Scylla so you should shut up!" shouted Annabeth.
"Well he said that he would do anything to get back home-"
"And he will."
"Well he needs a deity to help him win his battles."
"And he succeeds when he gets that help."
"Yet he still needs one! He can't do anything by himself!"
"It was Apollo who killed Achilles in the war, not Hector. Everyone needs help from divine entities."
"Well Gods were on their own sides and would do anything to win, Hector never asked for any help."
"And it is the same in this case. It's called 'God Games' for a reason."
"But he sacrificed his crew to get back home to both Zeus and Scylla. He would do anything to get back home and never try himself, he always plays it safe and never takes any risks."
"That's a good thing! Less risks, more safety."
"That hasn't been proved so far, has it?"
Annabeth kept quiet.
"See? Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves, Annabeth." declared Clarisse.
Hides inside a wooden horse to get the job done
Never handles things upfront
"Never upfront." mocked Clarisse.
"He tries..." started Annabeth.
"Face it, Annebeth. I won this battle, and so did Ares."
"No..."
"Yes!"
Pathetic and weak like his son
"They are really pathetic." smiled Clarisse.
"No, they're not." said Annabeth.
"You really can't accept defeat, can you?"
"Because I am not defeated. Odysseus does what it takes to survive and so do you... you would do anything to win! Everything you've said about Odysseus... is the same for... you."
"W-What?"
"The reason I didn't win that battle is because you think you do the right thing and no one can change an opinion. If you think you're doing the right thing... so is Odysseus."
Clarissse was speechless.
"Checkmate, Clarisse." smirked Annabeth. "Your streak is gone."
Athena uses quick thought on Ares
Hold your tongue now!
His son's my friend
And tell your lover that a broken heart can mend
"But she's his mother!" said Piper.
"Yeah! This is not some heartbreak from a few weeks old crush, she died!" said Jason.
"But that isn't his fault, he wanted to get back home and he did everything in his power to return." said Annabeth.
You want more bloodshed?
Then set him free
To get back to his homestead, he'll make everybody bleed
"That's true with his new personality." said Reyna.
"Yeah." agreed Thalia.
Ugh, release him
Hey baby
Hera!
"Can we skip this bit?" asked Percy.
"I wish we could." said Annabeth.
"We're able to pause the songs, why can't we move it forward?" asked Jason. "It's just a normal remote after all."
Annabeth tried to move it forward but it didn't work.
"We're just going to have to listen to it." sighed Leo.
"Ugh!" said everyone.
So many heroes
So many tales
Give me one good reason why yours should prevail
"That is a good point though..." said Frank.
"Yeah." said Hazel. "Athena wants Odysseus to be free but if she was on the podium instead, would she want to release him?"
"Just be quiet, Zhang and Hazel, we hate her, remember?" asked Leo.
"Yeah..." said Frank and Hazel.
He's got the mind of a genius
Try harder
He's pretty skilled with words
You can do better than that
He's kind of funny?
Eh
"Have you noticed that's why SHE wants Odysseus released, not why Hera should release him." said Grover.
"And all of those qualities remind her of Zeus." said Jason.
"And she hates Dad." said Thalia.
Never once has he cheated on his wife
Release him
"Now the image is gone." said Reyna.
"If only this happened in the real myth." said Frank.
"What do you mean?" asked Leo.
"He's just another Greek, even though he cheated on Penelope with Circe and Calypso. He even had kids with them"
"What? Calypso has a child!"
"Two." said Annabeth.
"She never told me!"
I've played your game and won
Release him
You dare to defy me?
To make me feel shame?
No one beats me, no one wins my game!
"He acts so much like a child." said Hazel.
"That's just what he is, a child." said Percy.
"He's thousands of years old." said Annabeth.
"Yet he never aged."
Thunder, bring her through the wringer
Show her I'm the judgement call
The one who makes her kingdom fall!
Zeus throws his lightning bolt at Athena
Athena falls to the ground, bleeding badly
"Mom!" shouted Annabeth and started crying.
Even more tears came out that at 'My Goodbye'.
"Annabeth..." said Percy and hugged her.
Is she dead?
"Please don't be... I love you, Mum." said Annabeth.
Athena recalls all of her good memories with Odysseus and Telemachus
Athena rises again
Let him go, please
Let him go
Annabeth wiped her tears and felt happy again.
"I forgive you." she whispered.
Author's Note: I have a big project prepared for 'Wisdom Saga' so stayed tuned for that! It will be the best reaction to the whole saga I ever wrote! I spent a lot of time getting it ready straight from the beginning of writing this and I'm so ready to share this. 1st of December.
Bookwarrior12 - That's great!
anaklusodude16 - It's here now :)
Zinovia - Thank you! When I first started reading fanfictions, I noticed some people just don't write anymore even when the stories are so good!
RexTheBest - Yeah!
