"I believe that we can all agree... that was intense..." said Jason.
"Couldn't agree more." said Piper.
"Absolutely." said Leo.
"But there is one fault. Poseidon is a God, he will heal and will want revenge on Odysseus. He can still do all of the threats he said." said Frank.
"He can, but he won't." said Percy.
"How'd you know?" asked Will.
"I know we've only seen Poseidon twice in the whole musical so far but I think I understand what he is thinking."
"You're siding with him?" asked Reyna.
"No! Of course not! I just mean that I understand who he is as a person. He is a man, or God, who believes in a certain way of life and that is ruthlessness for him but it would be different for every God/Goddess."
"Like Athena's is that to be a warrior you must use your wits to win." said Annabeth.
"And Ares's that as long as you go out and fight, no matter what the outcome is, you just fight." said Clarisse.
"And Zeus's is that pride is a terrible thing." said Thalia.
"Exactly," said Percy. "Poseidon's initial goal for Odysseus was for him to embrace ruthlessness, not for him to die, that was later on. He already achieved what he wanted, Odysseus did embrace ruthlessness and now he's won. Why bother to keep on fighting when you've already won the war? If however, Odysseus tricked Poseidon rather than fighting, be probably would have drowned Ithaca and everyone in it."
"Ah, I get it." said Grover.
"Thanks, Percy." replied Frank.
"You're welcome." said Percy.
"On a separate topic, did you notice the prophecy thing?" asked Nico.
"Yeah!" said everyone.
"'I see you draw your final breath' was in 'Get in the Water' when he went down the sea floor." said Hazel.
"How does that even work? The pressure would have squashed him." said Annabeth.
"Don't question it, if we began to question the logic of EPIC: The Musical, we would all still be in the Circe Saga debating the 'it's been twelve long years thing' in 'There Are Other Ways'." said Frank.
"Agreed." said Hazel.
"And 'I see a man who gets to make it home alive but its no longer you' is in 'Six Hundred Strike'." said Thalia.
"Yeah, we were all so scared it meant that Odysseus would die but instead its his personality and character that changes." said Piper.
"Gladly, that-" started Hazel.
"Stop!" shouted Leo.
"What? Why?"
"Don't jinx it! Five more songs is enough time for him to die! Don't!"
"I'm confused..."
"It's complicated, Hazel. We'll explain it to you later." said Annabeth.
"So, now do we start discussing the songs?" asked Jason.
"Yeah!" said Frank.
"I'll go first," said Grover. "I thought that the saga was... mixed in reactions. It went from sad, to funny, to serious, to fear, to... well, whatever 'Six Hundred Strike' felt like."
"Yeah, I think we all agree on that." said Percy.
"Anyways, my favourite song was probably 'Dangerous' because-"
"No! I wanted to say that! Let me say the reason why!" shouted Leo.
"Oh... okay..."
"My favourite was 'Dangerous' as well because... Hermes!"
"I don't think that's a reason..." said Frank.
"Debatable."
"You know what? My favourite is 'Dangerous' as well, so I'll just give an actual reason-" started Reyna.
"I think that it is a suitable reason but continue."
"Well, out of all the songs in the Vengeance Saga, this one was more fun to listen to - a kind of a break from all the chaos."
"I agree, however this song seemed way more serious than 'Wouldn't You Like'." said Hazel. "He seemed way more relaxed with Circe than here with Poseidon."
"I think it was because of their different personalities, it was as if Hermes knew that as long as he had the moly, he'd be alright, but Odysseus needs every skill he has as Poseidon doesn't have a specific object as a weakness." said Frank. "To add on, I'd also like to say that 'Dangerous' is my favourite."
"Oh, yes! I completely forgot! Me too!"
"Yeah, I think we had a good discussion about 'Dangerous' but I believe we should go back to Grover." said Percy.
"Thank you," said Grover. "For my least favourite, I think that it had to have been 'Not Sorry For Loving You', it was too sad!"
"Cheers to that." said Leo.
"Yeah, it was absolutely depressing! The poor woman has been stuck on that island for centuries all alone and when she finally had someone to love, he just went away." cried Piper.
"It must have been terrible, thinking that you knew someone for seven years only for him to just leave when he got a chance." said Jason.
" I dislike the song as well, but maybe for a different reason..." said Thalia.
"What do you mean?" asked Leo.
"Forgive me, but I don't think I feel much remorse for her anymore." said Thalia.
"Me too." said Annabeth.
"What?!" shouted Leo. "Why?!"
"I think that I as well as Annabeth have felt quite pressurised in the moment and we wanted to trust what you were saying." said Thalia.
"I have, but now that we both have put some thought into it... it just doesn't feel right." said Annabeth.
"Yeah, I agree that she has a motif to do what she did, but it doesn't make it right. She trapped Odysseus there for a long time."
"And she was pushing herself onto him, like... a child. A very dirty child who wants everything to go her way."
"She's a wonderful person! How dare you!" screamed Leo.
"Our Calypso is good, even I agree on that, but this one may not be." said Annabeth. "Actually, no, she might be, it just depends, we only have had one and a half songs about her, it would have been better if we also had Odysseus's perspective on his time there."
"But suggesting that he was about to jump... I'm gonna say it wasn't great." said Thalia.
Leo was angry and sad and he wanted to bring his emotions to the surface but he knew they had a point. Everyone gave him some time to cool off before discussing next, but after a while, he came back and without further discussing the topic, Jason started talking.
"So... my favourite song was Charybdis." said Jason, breaking the silence.
"Oh that was epic!" said Percy. "Apart from the... ending."
"The part with Poseidon about to show wasn't that great but it was nice to see some hope in his eyes and a smile on his face to finally see Ithaca as well." smiled Annabeth.
"I agree, it was truly magnificent to see that smile on his face."
"And the song was also so full of energy!" said Jason.
"Yeah, he wasn't going to let her ruin his chances of returning back home." said Will. "It was truly my favourite one!"
Everyone then looked at Nico.
"Why is everyone staring?" he asked.
"You're the only one who has been quiet this whole saga reaction." said Will.
"Fine..." sighed Nico. "I honestly don't have a favourite song (though 'Dangerous' is a close one), but I absolutely hated 'Six Hundred Strike'! My father would never allow anyone to leave the Underworld in any world and definitely not six hundred!"
"Are you really still holding onto that?" asked Thalia.
"Of course I am!"
"Well, you'll be glad to know I also didn't like the song-" started Reyna.
"See!"
"But not for those reasons." she finished.
"Ugh!"
"I just... I'm not happy with Odysseus becoming the monster..."
"How could you not?!" demanded Clarisse.
"Oh, Clarisse, we forgot about you." said Will.
"And normally it's me being forgotten." said Nico.
"'Six Hundred Strike' was perfect! He did what Poseidon wanted him to do! How do you not love that?!" asked Clarisse, ignoring the couple.
"It's just, we all loved the old Odysseus, Percy believes me, right?" asked Reyna.
"I agree with that, but I stand with Clarisse." replied Percy.
"What?!" asked everyone.
"I just... agree..."
"But why?" asked Piper.
"It's just, Poseidon got what he wanted and it was just also really cool with the crew forgiving Odysseus and helping him defeat Poseidon."
"That is really cool... I agree with that, actually."
"Yes!" laughed Clarisse.
"Oh, come on!" grunted Nico.
"If it helps, I didn't like that song either." said Will.
"I mean... I guess..."
"Well, what was your least favourite one, Clarisse?" asked Annabeth.
"Oh, this saga was great. I loved all of it."
"Well, I still think that Odysseus becoming the monster isn't great, but you do make a compelling point." said Reyna.
"I don't have my least favourite song..." muttered Hazel.
"Yeah, same." said Frank.
"What about 'Not Sorry For Loving You'?" asked Leo.
"Oh, that song speaks for itself." said Hazel.
"Yeah, Calypso got what she deserved, she told her part of the story and now we all feel empathy for her, or most of us do."
"And Thalia?" asked Percy.
"Oh... my favourite is actually 'Get in the Water'..."
"W-Why?"
"I don't know... it was just very compelling and it just gave of the vibes Poseidon needs."
"Oh... okay."
"Changing the subject!" interrupted Annabeth. "Last saga next..."
"Yeah, how far have we come." said Nico.
"From not wanting to be here at the beginning to missing it." said Hazel.
"Okay... last saga... here we come." said Percy.
Author's Note: Apologies for not posting in so long and it will likely be like this for a while now. I am quite busy this time so please understand! I will however try and post as much as I can but for now, it will be random when I post! Also, I'd like to add that I don't hate 'I'm Not Sorry For Loving You' and that I just wanted to give different perspectives to different characters. Originally, it was only supposed to be Percy on here by the name 'Percy Jackson listens to EPIC: The Musical' but I added different characters to add more perspective to the story and that's the whole reason. I did the same thing with 'Open Arms' and I also want to make some changes to Eurylochus and make some people like him rather than everyone hating him. To wrap up, I made this fanfiction to show many different opinions on EPIC and I didn't want to just say my personal opinion hence some people will like something, others will hate on so I just wanted to say so!
anaklusosdude16 - Yeah! He said something about some scenes about different characters e.g Scylla and Circe origin, Hermes getting the Wind Bag from Aeolus etc
