Dinosaur King: Family of Sauria
Chapter one: Battle of History!
65 million years ago, Earth was a lot different. There's no lions, tigers or bears. No whales, elephants or even humans. The creatures that rules this world, are the Dinosaurs. Carnotaurus head towards the lake to drink, Pteranodon flies over the forest where herd of Triceratops walks through, and the family of Acrocanthosaurus are patrolling their land.
But they suddenly, run off as the bigger and meaner Acrocanthosaurus arrives, scaring all Dinosaurs around him. A single Ampelosaurus was eating some plants before it realizes a predator is nearby as Acrocanthosaurus snarls deeply. Ampelosaurus runs away as Tyrannosaurus Rex arrive, challenging Acrocanthosaurus.
Two large predators moves in circle, facing each other as they roars. Then they charge and head-butt on each other. The T-Rex tries to bite Acrocanthosaurus' neck but the Acrocanthosaurus dodge and grab the T-Rex by the neck and spin the T-Rex around a bit before slam it on the nearby boulder, injuring the T-rex who's collapse and weakly lay there as the Acrocanthosaurus went off. The weak T-Rex stare up into the sky just as the flash of light appears...
THUD
The brown, spiky-haired boy groaned and rubbed his head in pain after fallen of his bed.
"How'd that happen?" He asked himself, "Guess I fell asleep."
He shook his head to wake himself up before climbing back into his bed. In it was a book about dinosaurs at he centre. In fact, there was dinosaur merchandise, from figures to posters, all over his room. He got into position and continued to read. "A giant meteor crashed into the earth, causing all dinosaurs to become extinct."
As he flipped the page he noticed something outside his window. It was some small bright light.
"What's that? Maybe it's a meteor!" He said as he ran onto his balcony to get a better look.
The light kept descending in a shaky manner, like it was being controlled by a computer mouse, before crashing in a forest not too far from the mansion.
After taking a few minutes to process what happened, the boy quickly bolted out of his room. He approached a door leading into another bedroom before rush in. Laying on his bed, is another boy with blond hair.
"Rex, get up!" Boy said as he shakes Rex faster and harder.
After few shaking, Rex madly woke up, "What is it, Max?"
"You aren't going to believe it! I saw a meteor!" Max said with excitement.
"What?" Rex asked.
"I have to wake up Zoe! She'll flip out!" Max said as he rush out, "Hurry! Get dress!"
"This better be good." Rex muttered before he got out of his bed to get dress.
(Dinosaur King Into Theme)
After waking Rex and Zoe, Max Sauria lead them to the forest he saw the asteroid land. He was currently wearing a red sleeveless t-shirt with a yellow collar that was also a hood, orange jeans, red sneakers, and red fingerless gloves on his hands. His outfit also showed his love for dinosaurs as he had a black fanny pack around his stomach with a dinosaur tooth on it. But his most notable feature was the visor on his head with a glass shade and a pair of horns like that of a Triceratops that lit up.
Behind him was his adopted brother; Rex Sauria. The blond was wearing a blue jacket over a white t-shirt, brown jeans, and blue sneakers. He also wore a dinosaur tooth like his friend, only this one was around his neck. He kept it as something personal and almost never took it off as it was all he had of his birth parents he never knew.
"You know I'm not a morning person." A female voice said after a yawn. She was their adopted sister, Zoe. She was wearing a black t-shirt with a red and yellow vest over it that exposed her midriff, shorts of the same colour as her vest, and yellow and green sneakers. Her hair was pink in the form of pigtails. She also had a pair of goggles on her head which doubles as cameras, though she almost never uses them.
You see, Max, Rex and Zoe were orphans when they were babies, with Max's parents died in the car accident during their anniversary, while Max was with a babysitter, Zoe's parents died in the truck accident at their vet/house while she was at the nursery school and her older sister is at a sleepover, and Rex was found in the forest near the dinosaur fossil with no parents or any family members. During their time within the orphanage, they love Dinosaurs so much, they formed their club; the D-Team.
However, because they love Dinosaurs more than anything, no one wants to adopting any of them. But then, one day when they were four, a man who's a Palaeontologist for dinosaurs, came, saying he was looking for Dinosaur loving children and adopting all three of them along with Zoe's only family member left; Reese. Since then, they live, sleep and grow together under the care of their new father. Anyway...
Rex was also very tired, but Max had his hopes high. Searching his pockets, he pulled out a golden badge with a D on it. He held it up in the air to show his siblings, "Come on, guys. You remember what this badge means right? D-Team. You guys took an oath, and the D-Team is all about adventure."
"Yeah, unless that adventure starts before breakfast." Rex replied in his smart-ass tone.
Max turn to glare at his brother, "You'll regret saying that when we find that meteor." He was hungry too, but for once in his life, something came before food.
"I'm hungry too, Max." Zoe said, "And Joy won't be happy if she finds out tha-" She stopped and noticed something odd. "Hey Bros, look at this."
The two boys backed up and saw what Zoe was looking at. A good portion of trees had been either knocked down or had their tops removed. All except one with a hole in the middle.
Max saw this and ran towards it, "I told you guys! This must be where the asteroid landed!" Max said with a smile on his face as he leaned in and lit up his visors.
"Be careful, Max. It could be dangerous." Zoe warned.
The spiky-haired boy simply turned back with a smug look on his face, "Exploring dangerous stuff is what the D-Team is all about. D for danger."
Rex rolled his eyes, "Dumb also starts with a D, and so does dead." Then he and Zoe started to look around for anything else.
Max ignored him and searched through the hole when he suddenly noticed something, "What the?" He muttered as he grabbed the object, "Hey, guys, I think I found it." Max called out to his siblings.
Max soon pulled out the object, or rather objects. They were rocks, but not ones of an asteroid. Max looked at the rocks closer, "One seems to have a lightning bolt on it, and the other has a symbol of fire on it." He said as he kept on switching looks between both.
Rex noticed somethings on the ground and picked them up, "I found something too, but this one looks more like wind while the other one has what looks like mountain."
Zoe also happened across two of the weird-looking rocks, "This one has a symbol for grass and the other one has symbol for water."
All six rocks had some kind of switch on them. Max took notice of this first and messed around with the one on the lightning stone, "I wonder what this thing is for." He asked himself as he turned the knob.
Suddenly, Max was engulfed in a glow that constantly switched from yellow to red. He was so surprised by this he hit his head on the tree when trying to pull his head out. Rex and Zoe's stones started glowing too, engulfing them in a white/purple and green/blue glow respectively. The glowing lasted for a few seconds before it disappeared.
Zoe got frightened and backed up a bit, "What was that?"
"I don't know." Max said as he rubbing his head.
Just then, Rex notices something nearby. It was a capsule in the shape of an egg. It was already opened and inside were two cards. He grabbed both cards to look at them better while his brother and sister came up. All the cards had pictures on them. However, one had a yellow outline while the other had a grey outline. Rex grabbed the grey card and looked at it better.
The picture on the card were picture of a Dinosaur, "It's a Carnotaurus." Rex said as he flip the card around and see something on the back, "It had the same wind symbol as one of the stones."
"Really?" Zoe asked.
"Maybe it means they suppose to be put together." Max said.
Decided to see if Max is right, Rex rub the cards on the Wind Stone and soon, a bright light appeared. Once the light disappeared, a dinosaur appeared in front of them.
The dinosaur was a thin bipedal. It was completely dark blue, minus yellow stripes along its side and horns on its head. And all over its side were little bumps. Also, its arms were laughably short, even by dinosaur standards. However, it had the rare four-fingered claws to make up for that somewhat. It's was a Carnotaurus.
The 'Meat-Eating Bull' stared at the kids. Who, in turn, were in shock before they screamed and quickly ran behind the trees, hoping the Dinosaur would go away.
Max was the first one to snap out of the shock, "I-i-it came to life!"
"Rex, do something!" Zoe said as the Carnotaurus started approaching them.
"I'll try doing the reverse of what I just did!" Rex said as he mess around the stone as a Carnotaurus is right on top of him and his siblings.
Before anything could happen, Rex decided to twist the knob on the stone and suddenly, the Dinosaur glow white before disappear and the card land near Max.
Max pick up the card, "I don't know how you did, but I think you turn it back into a card."
"What happen?" Zoe asked.
"Must have been a hologram." Rex theorized, but was having his doubts.
"I doubt it!" Max said with a huge smile as he points at the damaged trees, "There's no way a hologram knocked down those trees! That Dinosaur was so real!"
"But how?" Zoe asked before look at her stones, "Cause of these?"
"Let find out!" Max said as he hand the card to Rex, "Bring it out again!"
"Are you out of your mind, Max?!" Rex asked in shock, "That was Carnotaurus! A Predator!"
"So, you can just send it back." Max said, "Besides, don't you want to see a real live Dinosaur?!"
Rex open his mouth... before close it and went in deep thought, true it's a carnivore, but there's no way he'll miss the chance to see a real live Dinosaur.
"Alright." Rex said as he prepares to rub the card on the Wind Stone, "Get ready to run in case I couldn't send it back."
Rex rubbed a card, but this time in the opposite direction. It glowed again, but this time a lot less, and it didn't form the large animal from before. Instead, it appeared in much smaller, chibi-like form.
The kids stare at the tiny Dino, before Zoe was able to gush at how adorable it looked, "Oh, how cute is it!"
Rex step forward before knee down, "...Hi...?"
Suddenly, mini Carnotaurus leap up, forcing Rex to fall back, and chew Rex's jacket.
""Hey! Don't chew my jacket!" Rex said as he tries to pull the Carnotaurus off, "Joy work hard on that!"
"He either like you or wants to eat you." Zoe said.
"Well, I'm not going to be someone's lunch!" Rex said just as the mini Dino starts chewing his hair, "OW! Don't chew my hair!"
TAB, TAB, TAB, TAB!
Hearing the foot tabbing, Max, Zoe and Rex after finally pull Carnotaurus off, quickly stood up and slowly turn to meet a firm glare of a long blue hair and golden eyes woman with curvy figure and large breasts, wearing maid outfit.
"Hi Joy..." Kids said nervously.
"I made breakfast and you were not at the table like you suppose to." Joy said before she notices the mini Dinosaur, "Is that... a miniature size Carnotaurus?!"
"Well..." D-Team said...

Elsewhere, a Tyrannosaurus, turned around and roared at few Dinosaurs. In fact, there's only Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Apatosaurus and Parasaurolophus, within a roman style coliseum. The dinosaurs snapped, roared, and even bit one another while people watched the carnage, cheering. Sitting on a pedestal was a small, and old, white-bearded man with woolly eyebrows and barely any hair on his head, wearing a lab coat. He was guarded by two grey robots who had spears and a symbol on their chests. The symbol was a red omegaish-shaped A with a large dot in the middle. Around the man were six other individuals who all wore outfits with the same symbol.
As the Dinos fought and the people cheered, the man gave an evil-sounding laugh. However; this was nothing more but a simulation on a computer, but the old man was still laughing at the results.
"When this dinosaur stadium is complete, my ultimate goal will finally be realized! Yes! And the name Dr. Z will go down in history!" Dr. Z said before turn to woman next to him, "You'll take care of that, won't you, Zira?"
She has violet hair, brown eyes but has a eyepatch on her right eye, and medium size breasts, wearing brown shirt with A-symbol on her right chest pocket, black pants and shoes, white lab coat and monocle on her left eye, "Of course, Dr. Z."
"Excellent!" Dr. Z said before ask, "But why are there only few Dinosaurs out there? I want a lot more than that!"
"Relax, Dr. Z." Zira said, "Those are only prototypes. You know, testing thing."
"Then I suggest you testing faster!" Dr. Z said, "I don't want to be King of only few Dinosaurs."
"I know. You want to be King of ALL the Dinosaurs." Zira said.
Dr. Z responded by giving off an evil grin, "Yes. But I don't want to be the king, I will be the king! I'll be the king of all dinosaurs!" He proclaimed as fire went off in his eyes and behind him in his mind.
Suddenly, the screen changed and a tall, spiked blue-haired man wearing a dark red overcoat appeared. On both sides of his face were long, red tattooed stripes that looked like scars.
"Doctor, sorry to interrupt, but I should inform you that the tests were completed." Man said, "I would like you to join me after the next test."
"Really Seth?!" Dr. Z asked, "Excellent! I'm on my way!"
"Very Good Doctor. Over and out." Seth said before hang up.
"Let's go!" Dr. Z said as he left the building, follow by Zira.
(A while later)
Dr. Z and Zira arrive in the chamber where Seth is.
"Here they are, Doctor." Seth said as he reveals duplicates of Stones that D-Team found, "Now, we can summon any Dinosaurs if the test is successful."
"Perfect!" Dr. Z said as he take the Wind Stone duplicate and pull out a Dinosaur Card with Wind symbol on the back before rub the stone on it...
Then with a bight light, a dinosaur appear, roaring loudly before Dr. Z turn it back into the card. Then, rub the card in the other way and the chibi-like Dinosaur appear.
"Test success." Seth said as he pick up one of the devices.
It was a small, flat black device with small yellow antennas that had a screen and buttons on one side, and the symbol on the other. Then Seth put the Fire Stone duplicate inside the device before put another stone duplicate in another device.
Suddenly, another Dinosaur appear out of nowhere, and scares anyone but Seth.
This Dinosaur has black back and magenta underbelly with yellow zigzag line along the flank that separated the black colouring from the magenta colouring. Arms and Legs are black. Its head is shaped like a Crocodile, with a small crest between its eyes. This dinosaur is Suchominus.
Dr. Z rush off with Suchominus run after him.
Outside at the beach, a short, fat, blue-haired man with a slightly red nose, was fanning a green-coloured, curly-haired woman who taking a sip from her drink.
"Somebody help me!"
They turned and saw Dr. Z getting chased by the dinosaur, "I got a Suchominus on my tail! Help me!"
Said dinosaur gave a snap that the doctor just narrowly avoided.
Off to the side, two kids were watching. One was a boy wearing a matching brown shirt and pants, boots, a hat with goggles on them, and a belt that had the A-symbol on it. The other was a short pink hair girl wearing only a simple dark pink outfit with the symbol in the middle. As they were watching, the girl held same device from before, in her hands.
The girl had a look of amusement on her face while her brother looked more concerned, "How long should I let her go?" She asked her brother.
"I think you should call her back now. I don't think Grandpa finds it funny." Boy said.
"Help! Go away! You don't want to eat me!" Dr. Z said as he run around the beach with a 'Crocodile Mimic' right at his tail, "I mean, just look at me! I'm all skin and bones! Go for Ed! He has more than I do!"
As Dr. Z and Suchominus runs around, the girl push the button and the Suchominus after couple of glows, turn into her chibi-like form.
Dr. Z didn't see what happen, stills rushing around covering his rear end, "Help! I don't want to be Dinosaur's launch!"
Then, the mini Suchominus leap on Dr. Z like a dog, allowing doctor to see his 'attacker', "It's you, Tsunami?!"
Just then, Short man, woman and Zira who just arrived, tries to hold back their laughs.
"What are you laughing behind my back!" Dr. Z asked.
"Nothing!" Short man, woman and Zira quickly said.
Then Tsunami sudden, bite Dr. Z's hair!
"Hey! Let go of me!" Dr. Z said as he tries to pull Tsunami off.
"Grandpa!" Girl call out as she giggles, "Tsunami thinks your hair is special kind of fish to eat."
"Oh yeah?!" Dr. Z asked, "Well it's not!"
"Stop it right now!"
Everyone turn to see a brown-haired maid wearing an apron arriving, "Why don't you pick on someone your own size, Dr. Z?" Maid asked, "Now leave little Tsunami along."
Tsunami in a bit of fear, release Dr. Z's hairs and run off.
"Dr. Z, I'm so shock!" Maid said before quietly add, "You know that's not my best side." She point at Dr. Z's rear end... which has a hole on his pants, revealing his underwear with a maid's face on the back!
Dr. Z's face is glowing red as he covers his rear end, "Then which side do you prefer, Helga?"
"I prefer my left side for your backside." Helga said before turn towards the two smug looking kids, "Now then, Rod! Laura! I'm going to assume your studies are completed?"
The kids slowly shook their heads shamefully, "No."
"Then get back to work!" Helga said in angry ton.
"OK!" Kids said in nervous.
Helga then turned to the man, woman and Zira. The trio tensed when she looked at them.
"The frankfurters will be ready for dinner in twenty minutes." Helga said.
"Yes Helga. Twenty minutes." The trio repeated in frightened monotone.
Helga nodded and went back to work. After she left, the three gave a sigh of relief and relaxed.
"Frankfurters again?" The woman asked, placing a hand on her racing heart, "If I have to eat them one more time I'll burst."
"It's either that or her bratwurst." The short man said.
"Who's the worst?!" Dr. Z said, offended by their words he misheard, "Helga may be a bit crotchety, but she's also got a sweet side! And just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean the rest of us haven't!" He yelled at the three, pointing a finger at them in an accusing manner.
"I seen enough of Helga." Zira said, "And I only have one eye." She point at her only eye.
"Excuse me?" Seth said as he arrive, "Now that everything is calm..."
"Oh right, Seth my boy! Can we use the Stone copies for the Time Machine?" Dr. Z asked while covering his rear end, hoping that Seth didn't see his underwear.
Seth looked indifferent and gave his answer, "I'm afraid not. Even if I lower the copies' power level to match the real Stones' and I managed to fix the Time Machine, the copies are still too powerful to use on the machine. We might have to remodify the machine itself."
"How?" Rod asked, "Those parts might not exist in this time period and we're stuck here."
"Yes, that is a good point." Dr. Z said, stroking his beard before began to change the topic, "More importantly, we need to find my dinosaur cards that got scattered all over the world when that time machine broke. None have appeared in the time we've been on this island, but they'll have to show up eventually."
Just then, Dr. Z noticed something with his grandkids. Mainly that Laura was holding something in her hands, something that was his, "Well, what's this I see?! Were you using this on Tsunami earlier?!" He said as he pointed a finger at his granddaughter.
"Well, it's only a test run, Grandpa." Laura said, trying to give off a cute look.
Dr. Z snatched the device from her hands, "This isn't a toy! It's a complicated piece of equipment for doctors!"
Just as he finished, the screen on the device started blinking red, "Huh? What's this?" Dr. Z asked as he started pressing buttons, showing a map of the world with two blinking dots on Japan.
"It means a card's been found, Grandpa." Rod said, looking at the screen with the others.
Dr. Z had an evil smile on his face, "I knew it would work! Now let's go find that card!" The fire in his mind returning once again.

Meanwhile, Max, his siblings and their maid, just arrived back at the mansion and were showing their discovery to their dad. Right now, they're outside at the backyard.
"Let me get this straight, you kids, found real live Carnotaurus?" Their dad asked.
He has dark brown hair and brown eyes. He wears olive shirt, blue jeans, whitish grey Safari vest, brown boots and dark brown Australian style leather cowboy hat. His name is Dr. Chris Sauria; the world's known Palaeontologist, and the D-Team's adopted father.
"Yeah, Dad." Rex answered as the mini Carnotaurus is exploring around, "Ace is so real. Even I couldn't believe it till now."
"Ace?" Chris asked.
"That's what Rex named him, Daddy." Zoe said, "Since Ace means 'Number One', and he's a first live Dinosaur we discovered."
Dr. Sauria looked down at the capsules containing a leftover card, "So, a card turned into a Dinosaur. And what about this card?" He asked as he picked a card up.
"We don't know, Dad." Max said, "Rex found it along with Ace. Do you know?"
"To be honest, I never seen this before." Chris said, "I might be the world's known and greatest Palaeontologist, but this is the first time I heard small Dinosaurs pop out of cards."
"Actually, Daddy." Zoe started, "It was a full-size one."
"Really?!" Chris asked in excitement, "Where? Where? Where?"
"Dad, calm down." Rex said as he pull out the Stones, "You just need to use one of these rocks and Ace gets big."
Chris grabbed one of the stones with the Wind symbol, and turned the knob... "Nothing's happening." He declared, "Are you sure that's what did it?"
"Let me try, Dad." Rex said as he took back the stone and turn the knob.
Soon, Ace turned back into his card and into Rex's hand. He swiped it across the knob and soon, after a bright light, Ace reappeared in his true form.
Everyone screamed in both excitement and horror. This lasted for about a second before Rex turned Ace back so he wouldn't step on anyone. He slid the card back into the small form and everyone was able to get their hearts to slow down.
"Now that's a great discovery!" Dr. Sauria said before he add, "But I think for now, we should keeps this our family secret."
"Why's that, Dad?" Max asked.
"Well, you know I'm very kind and respectful Palaeontologist." Chris said, "But if words spares, there'll be someone wanting to use this for profits or evil. So, we tell no one. Understand, kids?"
"Yes Dad/Daddy." Kids said.
Just then, two people exist the mansion.
One is a blonde hair woman with glasses, a green shirt that was covered by her lab coat, and brown shorts. Her name is Reese Sauria.
And other one is a tall, black-haired man wearing shades, wearing brown pants, orange shirt and black shoes. His name is Zander; Reese's boyfriend.
"Father, have you renovated our house without informing us?" Reese asked.
"Of course not, Reese." Chris said, "Why?"
"We think you should come and see what we found." Zander said before he and his girlfriend lead Dr. Chris and the kids with Ace in Rex's arms, towards the stairway that goes to the basement/laboratory.
When they arrive in the lab, Zander and Reese then, lead Reese's family towards the left side of the lab where on the wall, is a door.
"That door wasn't there yesterday!" Chris said.
"That's what we think you would say, Sir." Zander said, "It like, just appeared out of nowhere."
"But how?!" Zoe asked in surprise.
"Maybe it appeared when we found these stones." Max said.
"Well, if these stones can turn cards into Dinosaurs, it might be so." Dr Sauria said, "Did you two had a look inside?" He asked to his oldest daughter and her boyfriend.
Reese and Zander shakes their heads.
"Well, since we're all here, let's take a look inside." Chris said as he heads towards the mysterious door.
Then, he sees a scanner by the door and place his finger on it. It scanned his fingerprint before the door opened up and let him and the others in. What they saw was amazing.
It was a large control room mixed with a gym and study office. There was a panel that had many slots in them that were large enough to place the cards inside. And there was also a large window. The everyone looked out the window and were surprised to see a huge simulated room that looked just like the earth during the dinosaur days. It had grassy plains, rivers, forests, beaches, a huge lake with a waterfall, and enough space for what looked like a whole herd of dinosaurs.
"What the...?!" Max asked in surprise before turn to Rex, "Rex, turn Ace into a card."
Seeing what Max had in mind, Rex recall Ace before placed his card in one of the slots. Immediately, Ace materialized full-sized in the large room and began to look around. Everyone watching Ace wondering around.
"I'm going to say, Max might be right." Rex said, "I think the Stones created this place right after we found them."
"But why?" Zoe asked.
"If I had to guess." Chris said, "I say, if there are any more Dinosaurs cards out there somewhere, we get them and release them into that place so they can feel like they were back in their world."
"But if that's the case, how would we feed them?" Zoe asked, "Especially carnivores."
"I don't think we need to worry about that." Zander said as gestured to three different troughs, "We have troughs for plants, meat, and fish-eaters."
"I see." Chris said.
"There is also a separate area." Reese revealed.
"This is so cool!" Max said with stars in his eyes, "It's like our own dinosaur museum or zoo!" Max said.
"Or more like wildlife preserve." Chris said, "Like in Africa."
"But why?" Zoe asked.
"Good question, Sweetheart." Chris said, "And something tells me, we're about to find out soon enough."

Back at the island: Seth, Dr. Z, Zira, the short man and woman from earlier, looked at a digital map of the earth.
The woman, known as Ursula, was now wearing a red jumpsuit that had a hole around the naval, a burgundy-coloured cloak, pink gloves that exposed her fingers, and red high heels. Her A-symbol was on a choker around her neck.
The short man, known as Ed, was now wearing overalls, brown gloves, and an almost matching t-shirt with the A-symbol on it.
Seth currently was typing on the computer below the map. He then looked up to check the accuracy that the map had compared to what he got, "A card appeared about 1,500 miles north of here."
"Perfect." Dr. Z declared, "Alpha Gang, prepare to deploy for our first dinosaur roundup mission." The doctor announced to the trio, "Take Tsunami and Typhoon with you. You'll need some reptilian power to capture that Dinosaur." He said with a devious smirk on his face, "Now don't let me down!"
"You can count on us, sir." Ursula declared as she and the others saluted their leader.
"And while you at it, see if you can bring some fossils." Seth said.
"Alpha Team, out." Both Zira and Ed shouted together as they got ready for travel.
They were heading for Japan

Night fell over the city as Chris, Zander and Reese began to experiment on the stones Chris obtained from his children after send them to bed. They're in Sauria's basement/laboratory which the D-Team nicknamed it; Dino HQ, for their imagination Dino adventure.
Right now, Dr Sauria, his oldest daughter and her boyfriend, were in the centre of the lab, easily identified by a large object giving a glittering glow, working on decoding the chips.
"Accessing data and awaiting user input." An automated voice from the computer said. "Fossil reclamation currently in progress at station 2098."
Chris had his arms crossed as he looked at the large TV screen across from the computers. It was showing the blueprints of a handheld device that the stones were being inserted into.
"Any updates on the translation devices, Reese?" Chris asked.
"Nothing yet, father." Reese said without turning away from screen, "But hopefully, this unit will be able to decode whatever is in the chip on that stone."
"Master?" Joy asked as she arrive the lab while carrying the tray with three cups of coffee, "I have to ask; what makes you think it's the dinosaurs thoughts that are stored in the stones? What part of your research led you to that conclusion?"
Chris look down at six stones, which currently were plugged into the large, glowing rods, "Good question, Joy. Here's what I believed; these stones were created roughly 65 million years ago, roughly the time Dinosaurs became extinct. My analysis shows they're admitting some form of consciousness. It would seem the Dinosaurs minds were compressed into these tablets just as they were on the verge of extinction, and then embedded with chips for decoding purposes! I don't know who invented it, but the chip contains a system that turns Dinosaurs into cards. But that leads us to one question; why turn Dinosaurs into cards and for what purpose?"
"That's two questions, father." Reese said.
"You know what I mean." Chris said, "The point is, I don't know how, but someone had went back in time, towards the age of Dinosaurs and turned them into cards and now, Ace was found in our time and there may be more Dinosaurs out there. And whoever turn them into cards might be here as well."
"You think that person will come for Ace?" Zander said.
"That, I don't know, Zander." Dr Suaria said, "And to be honest, that's what scares me for my kids."
"Well, hopefully, once we finish those devices, the kids might be protecting." Zander said.
"How, I wish you are right, Zander." Chris said, "How, I wish."

In the Pacific Ocean, the Alpha Gang was currently in a monster-like submarine, heading for the coast of Japan. A periscope raised up to check their surroundings, "Destination dead ahead." Ursula announced.
She was currently sitting in the back of the three seats, in a short of leader position, while Zira and Ed operated from the front. Next to Ursula's seat, are Tsunami and Typhoon in their chibi-like forms.
"According to my calculations, we should arrive in few hours." Zira said.
"Then, prepare to surface." Ursula declared as she retracted the periscope.
"Aye-Aye, ma'am!" Ed declared as he pressed a button to raise the sub.
And it was at this moment he knew, he screwed up...
"NO, YOU IDIOT!" Zira cries, "NOT HERE AND NOW!"
Immediately as they surfaced, they were hit by a large cargo ship!
"I didn't say to surface yet!" Ursula yelled as the sub began to fill up with water due to the large head being removed.
"Go thing this is just a rental!" Ed said, trying to lighten things up.
"Why do I have to work with these idiots?!" Zira asked to herself as the sub began to sink beneath the water.

"Fetch, Ace!" Rex said as he throw a blue ball.
The mini Carnotaurus run after the ball and once he got it, Ace is starts chewing.
"Ace, don't chew that! You'll get sick!" Rex said as he chased his Dino to get the ball back.
From the side-lines, Max and Zoe watched the pair have fun. Both couldn't help but feel jealous.
"Rex is lucky to have Ace, isn't he?" Zoe asked as she rested her head on her hands.
"Yeah, and they've all really bonded. I can tell they're all gonna be great friends, brothers even." Max observed, "If all stones has the same purpose as Rex's Wind symbol, why didn't our ones come with a matching card?!"
"Maybe ours did, Max." Zoe said, "But they might have get separated somehow."
"What's in the water?"
Hearing the confused voice, Max and Zoe walked over to the balcony that looked into the ocean. From there, a really large black shape could be seen.
"It's coming right for us!" Man 1 said.
"What is it?!" Man 2 asked.
"I don't care! Let's get out of here!" Man 3 said.
People immediately began to start to back way before running from the large object. Zoe put on her goggles to get a better look at the object. She couldn't make it out specifically, but judging by the way it was moving there was more than one.
Rex also took notice of it and ran over to his siblings, "What's going on?"
"A pair of really large animals are heading this way." Zoe said as she raised the goggles from her head. "But I can't make out what it is."
Their answer was given when the water erupted. Out from the water came full sizes Tsunami and Typhoon, who gave loud roars to announce their entrances.
Typhoon has magenta with black patterns, arms and legs, and yellow stripes and horn. He's an Allosaurus.
"A Suchominus and Allosaurus!" Rex said.
"But something is wrong with their colours." Zoe said, "That's not natural."
With the Alpha Gang, Ursula and Zira had just resurfaced from the sub crash while holding onto some debris, gasping for air. "Aaah!"
"That was a wet entrance." Zira said.
"Where's Tsunami and Typhoon?" Ursula asked as she looked around for the mini Dinos.
They're right over there." Zira pointed to the two dinosaurs attacking the town.
Ursula smiled as she realized they must have been called out when the sub crashed and were already at work. Just then, Ed cried out. "Help me! I don't know how to swim!" The short, chubby man struggled his way over to the board Zander and Ursula were using to support themselves.
"You idiot!" Ursula warned him, "Don't grab on! With your weight, it'll cause this thing to sink back into the wa-" She wasn't unable to finish as Ed grabbed onto the end and made the board sink to the water.
Back with the D-Team, they watched as the two bizarre dinosaurs came out of the water, and they were looking right at them.
"How's those dinosaurs real and yet artificial?!" Zoe asked.
"We'll figure it out later." Rex said as Tsunami and Typhoon began to advance towards them, "For now... WE RUN!"
They all screamed as they ran away from the much larger, unfriendlier, dinosaurs that were now giving chase.
"Let's split up!" Rex said, "We can confuse them!"
But before any of them could, Typhoon leap over them and land in front! The D-Team turn to go other way, but Tsunami block them.
"What now?!" Max asked in fear.
Typhoon is about to pounce on the kids when something or someone got a hold on his tail and hold him back. He turn to see a maid is pulling his tail.
"Stay away from these kids, you oversize rude lizards!" Joy said.
"Joy!" Zoe said in worry and joyful.
Seeing an opening to escape, Rex turn towards his siblings, "Let's move while the Allosaurus destructed."
With that, the kids and mini Carnotaurus run under Typhoon, between his legs jus before Tsunami could bite them, causing her to colliding on Typhoon. That impact had case the Allosaurus to whip his tail, sending Joy flying towards incoming delivery van, and smash through.
Just then, Dr. Chris Sauria arrive, "KIDS!"
"Dad!" Max said as he and his siblings join him as Typhoon and Tsunami go back up.
"Ge behind me, kids!" Chris said as he had his children behind him, while pull out his telescopic stun prod, "I don't want to hurt you, but I will if I have to."
After he expand his prod, Chris tab the tip of he prod at Typhoon, shocking him a bit, but he quickly recover and bite he prod, snap it in half.
"...That didn't go well..." Chris muttered.
The Allosaurus and Suchominus were about to eat them, but Ace leap up and bite on Typhoon's nose. The Allosaurus swung his head around causing Ace to fly off into a tree.
"Ace!" Rex yelled in worry, to knocked out Carnotaurus.
Tsunami and Typhoon turn away from the Sauria family and began to advance towards their target.
"Ace, run!" Rex yelled.
"Rex, use this!" Chris said as he hand a device to Rex.
Rex took the device and looked at it, "What's this, Dad?"
It was a grey device: with a handle, many buttons, a screen, a knob on the back, and a slot with the same symbols as his stones.
"Reese, Zander and I designed this to work like your stones, but easier!" Dr Sauria said, "Use it to make Ace big and take out those bizarre Dinos. Here, read the manual!" He hold out a large book.
"Dad, there's no time with this!" Max said.
"Normally, I would disagree about that." Rex said as he began frantically pushing buttons, "But right now, this is an emergency!"
Soon Ace vanished from the jaws of death, and into cards in Rex's hand, "Here goes nothing!" He slashed the card on the slot. In some short of other dimension wind began to come out of the slot as the screen showed a image of a wind. hen the Dinosaur began to transform.
Ace spun around in the air as his transformation began. His legs grew with a burst of wind. Little bumps all over his back grew, and the yellow horns on his head grew before his eyes glowed. he leapt forward and roared to signal its transformation completed.
In the real world, the Meat-Eating Bull landed after a bright glow of his respective stone colour came and went. He roared at the two attackers who only roared back. Sauria family looked around as the world's colour changed. Everything looked like it was painted on.
"What happened?" Chris asked.
No one had an answer for that.
At the same time, the Alpha Gang managed to crawl out of the water.
"I feel like a giant prune." Zira commented before they all heard three loud roars.
"Huh?" The Alpha Gang looked around and noticed the change in scenery.
"Tsunami? Typhoon?" Ursula asked, wondering their whereabouts now.
Alpha Dinosaurs circle around their target for the moment, before Ace charge towards Typhoon and knocked him back with his horny head. The fighting made its way to the streets as cars stopped and began piling on each other so they don't get crushed by the fighting dinosaurs. Eventually, Typhoon found an opening and knocked Ace back with his tail. Before Ace could counterattack, Tsunami tackle from the side, sliding him few feet away!
"ACE!" Rex said.
"That's not good." Dr Sauria said, "It's two against one. And one of two has size advantage."
"What do we do?!" Max asked.
Rex could only look down frustrated as Ace was beating up over and over again by Alpha Dinosaurs' feet. Suddenly, the screen on Rex's device, showing pictures of the two cards, began blinking red. It would seem all hope is lost...
"Guys!"
Or, maybe not... Sauria family turn to see Zander running towards them.
"Zander!" Zoe said as her sister's boyfriend arrive.
"What's going on?!" Zander asked before he notices Ace is being ganged up, "Ace is getting beaten up!"
"No. You don't say." Rex muttered.
"Oh, sorry." Zander said before he remember something, "But I found something that could help!" He fishing around in his pocket and pull somethings out, "These should help."
"How these Pokemon cards going to help?!" Max asked.
Zander look at the cards he's holding, seeing they are Pokemon cards!
"Whoops!" Zander said before putting he cards away, "Wrong cards." After a quick search, He found what he suppose to show, "Here they are!"
The Sauria family could not believe what Zander holding; two more Dinosaur cards! Max and Zoe instantly recognized them.
"A Triceratops!" Max exclaimed.
"And a Parasaurolophus!" Zoe exclaimed as well
As Zander flipped over the cards they noticed something. The Triceratops Card had a Lightning Symbol on the back, while the Parasaurolophus Card had a Grass Symbol, something Max and Zoe quickly noticed.
"Look, Zoe. Those markings on the back." Max pointed out to her.
"They match the stones we found." Zoe finished her brother's thought.
"I found them around the streets while I was shopping." Zander said.
"Perfect!" Chris said, "Great timing, Zander." He then hand out the same devices that Rex had, to Max and Zoe, "Here, you know what to do."
Max and Zoe nodding as they take the card and device each.
"Here goes!" Max said as he slashed the card on the slot.
A miniature version of the dinosaur was soon spinning in the air. First, its legs began to grow with lightning, then the horns on its head began to grow. Finally, its eyes flashed and the dinosaur spun around and roared. He was a quadruped. It was dark yellow, with a little white on his underbelly and under its legs, plus an orange stripe going down its back. There was a frill around the top of its head that had small bumps around it, plus one bump near the cheeks, and a mixture of yellow and white patterns on the inside. Its most noticeable features, however; were its horns above its eyes and nose. All long enough to make a person into a shish kabob. This dinosaur was a Triceratops.
As Rex, Chris and Zander amazed of he Three Horn Face dinosaur, Zoe slide the card against the slot, "We need your help!"
The little herbivore spun around in the air before its back legs grew with a burst of grass, then its forelegs grew, finished by a large cone-like shape on its head before the eyes glowed. The Parasaurolophus reared up on its back legs and roared signalling the finished transformation. It was mostly green, except for a whitish underbelly and green stripe on the back, the large cone on its head was a blue is green. It had four legs, but only two of them were legs 100% of the time, meaning it could walk and run on two legs. It also had a duck-like bill for a mouth, which was common for Hadrosaurs like itself.
Sensing something is up, Tsunami and Typhoon turn, only to be tackle by Triceratops and Parasaurolophus, away from Ace.
Seeing his friend weaken, Rex began pushing buttons, hoping for something to happen that could help him. Soon a card came out from the device, having a symbol matching the dinosaur it had on the card.
"We sill don't know what that card does, but Reese included it in your holder, just in case." D-Team's father explained, "Now seems like a good time to try it out."
"That remind me!" Zander sudden said, as he search his pocket for few seconds, pulling more cards which has the same outline colours as the one Rex holds, with different symbol; Lightning for one, and Grass for other, "These cards came with the Triceratops and Parasaurolophus. Try them out as well!"
Having no better ideas, the kids agree as they took one card each.
"Let's hope this helps." Zoe muttered hopefully, as she slide her second card through the slot.
Suddenly, the Hadrosaur glowed green, specifically her outlines while a large, pointy circle appeared on the ground directly around her, as leaves began to surround her body. The green dinosaur then roared as a tornado of green energy erupted from her mouth. The energy landed on Ace and soon he felt his strength back as he slowly got back up onto his feet. Ace gave a roar as he announced his return to the battle.
"That was amazing!" Max said.
"I starting to think those cards are some kind of Move Cards." Dr Chris Sauria said, "But that brings more questions."
"Later, Dad." Rex said before turn towards his brother, "Max, let's try our cards!"
"Right, Bro!" Max said.
Rex went first, slashing his card through the slot.
The Carnotaurus began to glow white. Clouds began to form as a tornado soon came down over him. Instead of harming him, the tiny theropod roared and made the wind form a barrier around him. He then charged towards Tsunami, who had just recovered from being knocked down. But, before she could do anything, Ace grabbed her by the tail and tossed her to Typhoon, knocking them back to the ground.
"My turn!" Max said, slotting a card.
The Triceratops glows yellow, as the lightning clouds began to form around him. Suddenly, a strike of lightning landed directly on him. Instead of damaging him, the electricity circled around his body. He began to charge at Alpha Dinosaurs as they getting up. Lightning began running towards his front and formed a giant ball of electricity at the tips of his horns. Soon both the ball and Dinosaur collided with enemies and sent them flying.
The family and their friend could only watch the spectacles in amazement. This was something beyond their wildest imaginations. Both of the attackers landed near the dock they came in. They struggled to get up, but soon they both turned back into their cards. Once they were gone, the colour began to return to normal. Then, Ace, Triceratops and Parasaurolophus turn to each other. Parasaurolophus back away a bit in fear while Triceratops wave his horns for threat display.
"What's happening?!" Zoe asked.
"Ace is sill a predator and these herbivores are wary a bit." Dr Sauria explained.
Ace stare at two helpers before back off and lay down.
"What's Ace doing?" Rex asked.
"I believe he try showing them he means no threat." Chris answered, "If these wo can see Ace is no longer their enemy, they'll calm down a bit."
Seeing their strange predator is no threat for now, the Triceratops and Parasaurolophus did calm down a bit. But they'll keep an eye on him.
Just then, Joy who's upper body is stuck in draws, had arrive around, "What kind of Dinosaurs that has strange skin coloured like someone done makeups on them?!" Joy manage to slide the draws off and throw it away, "If these monsters harm one hair on any of their heads, Dino or no Dino, I'll turn them into reptile skinned boots!"
"Joy, over here!" Max said, got the maid's attention.
"Children!" Joy said as she runs towards others and hug the D-Team tightly, "You're alright!"
"We... won't... be... if..., you... squeezing... us...!" Zoe try to say as her and her brothers' face turn blue!
Quickly, Joy release her hug, allowing the kids to breathes, "Sorry, young ones!" Then she notices two new Dinosaurs, "New friends?"
"Hopefully... Zander muttered.
"But, where're those attackers?" Joy asked as she search for the Alpha Dinosaurs.
Zander point at where the two bizarre dinosaurs landed, "They're over there, just turned into cards."
Just then, Ursula came and grabbed both of the dinosaurs' cards, "Who do you brats think you are, screwing up our very important mission?!" She yelled at the kids.
"Your mission?!" Chris asked, "Who are you?!"
"We're the Alpha Gang!" Ursula declared.
"Your worst Nightmare of all Nightmares." Zira said, striking a pose.
"Even while you're wide awake!" Ed said, striking a different pose.
Oh, so Ursula!"
"One-eyed Zira!"
"And Ed! That's me."
"Do anyone understand any of that?" Max asked his family and friend.
"I think it's a threat, but I'm not sure." Rex answered.
Dr Sauria step forward, "If you are the one that turned Dinosaurs into cards, what's the purpose of this?!"
"Well, that's for us to know and for you and your brats to find out, isn't it." Ursula declared, before pointed a finger at them accusingly, "But if you brats, ever mess with us again, you will find out! Let's go" she grabbed her two partners and dragged them away.
"Wow, she's weird." Max commented.
"Who? The old lady?" Zoe asked before the 'old lady' returned.
"Excuse me?! Did you just say, old lady?! I'm not old! I'm barely in my teens!" Ursula said before her partners dragged her away to avoid any conflicts since they lost their big guns.
After the 'Alpha Gang' left, Max turn to his father, "Hey, Dad. What is this?" holding up his device.
"A Dino Holder." Chris answered.
"It's just like the stone?" Max asked as he examined the object.
"I bet it does a lot more than that." Rex theorized.
"That's right, son. The part that contains the stones is a translator. It can take the thoughts in the stones and put them into words like it does with the cards." Chris said, "We still haven't figure it out how yet."
"Hate to interrupt." Zander said, "But people will arriving soon. Don't you think you should you know, turn your Dinosaurs into cards or mini forms or something like that."
Realize their big sister's boyfriend is right, as the D-Team, after learning how, quickly turn their Dinos into cards and after checking no one is around or looking, swiping the cards the opposite way and each Dinosaur came back out in their chibi-forms.
Zoe kneel down and stroke her new partner, "You're so cute!"
Max kneel down near his own Dinosaur as well, "Hi, I'm Max."
Suddenly, Triceratops leap and starts biting and chewing Max's arm!
"Hey, ow!" Max said as he tries to move his new friend off, "Don't bite me!"
The family, maid and friend laughs. Suddenly, the screens began glowing as the kids were engulfed in a glow just like from the previous morning. The light also engulfed the Dinosaurs as well. Chris, Joy and Zander backed away a bit from the glowing kids and dinosaurs.
Unlike the last time, the kids now heard voices. All saying the same thing.
"Help us."
