4. A Note from the Author

Well, hey there.

I remember years ago, before I even started writing fanfiction, reading through a story and just devouring it. Then when it ended abruptly and had gone without years of edits, I would wonder why the author hadn't bothered to continue.

Now, ironically, I've done the same.

It's been a number of years since I have revisited this story, but I think I'd like once and for all to finish it.

Since I last updated, I've learned that life has a funny way of worming itself into the things you want to accomplish and making time blur. But, you know what?

It was the occasional email that one of you liked, followed, or commented on my story that kept it from fully leaving my mind. And so, it's for all of you that I'm back. And, I think too for the younger version of myself, who just needs to know how the story will end.

I'll try to keep my bio up to date with chapter progress, so check there if you want to know how it's going.
