The dueling pod lowered allowing Yasuha to walk out. The opponent met him in the middle and handed him two-star chips and two cards from his deck. "Ten dueling chips." He locked the chips into place on his glove. "Good luck." the opponent said shaking his hand.
"Thanks." He turned around to greet Tsushima. "Here you go." He handed her the cards. "How's your deck coming?"
"Finished…" She smiled, Sitting on the ground.
He followed as she started revealing her deck.

A bush from behind interrupted them as it started rustling, turning to look around two bulky men appeared. "Well, Well…" One of them grabbed Tsushima by the hair causing her to drop her deck and scatter it everywhere. "You two have been a pain in our bosses backside!"
Tsushima tried to get his hand off but was thrown on the ground instead.
"He wanted us to take you in, but since this is a tournament maybe my twin brother and I can rough you up a bit in dueling."
"No one gets passed us." The twin snickered. "Huh… What do we have here!?" He chuckled looking at Tsushima's scattered cards on the ground. "What a pathetic deck!" He laughed as Tsushima quickly gathered her cards together.
Yasuha stood up with his deck in hand. "I'm not too keen on bullies… let's get this duel over with, so the only thing going to your boss is your failure."
"Huh… you'll pay for that!" He growled with his fist in the air.
The ground shook as the dueling arena rose from the ground, four platforms lowered allowing the four duelists to get on and rise to the top. "Duel!" They yelled in unison.
"I'll…"
"The way this will work." Yasuha interrupted. "I will go first, then your twin brother on the left side will go second. Tsushima will go after him; you will go after her. I can only attack your brother, you can only attack Tsushima!"
"What…"
"That's fair!" The other brother said.
"One more thing!" Yasuha extended a finger out in front of him.
"What's that?!"
"We each share the same 2000 life points!"
"What… that's not fair, we should get 4000 life points!"
Yasuha chuckled before laughing aloud.
"What are you laughing about!?"
Yasuha clinched onto his chest as two dark hands reached out of Yasuha's back and grasped onto his shoulders. Pushing down on Yasuha he groaned and held the platform for support, a large dark shadowy figure appeared from his back and hovered above him, its eyes burned red along with a mouth that cracked open as a black mist-like substance flowed down and covered the arena, and a tail underneath attached to Yasuha's back.
"Huh!" The brothers shouted in shock.
"Chaos match!"Tiberius said aloud, he flew toward the middle of the side of the arena. The ground shook again as walls started shooting out of the ground, before they knew it, they were inside a castle."Welcome to my castle!"Tiberius laughed.
"What's going on?" One of the twins said.
"You opened your mouth!" The other yelled.
"Rules! Every damage you take equals one thousand damage; if it succeeds one thousand damage it goes to the next one thousand, each life gain equals one thousand, if it succeeds one thousand it goes to the next one thousand. We each start at 10,000 life points. The person or persons who lose, lose their life!"
"Ah!" The Twin screamed. "Get me out of here!" They shouted, jumping over the pod.
Shadowed fingers wrapped around their bodies as Tiberius picked them up."Surrender is not an option!"
The brothers screamed as they were crushed, lowering their life points. Letting go the brothers were dropped back in the pod where they caught their balance.
9000 – 10,000
"Duel!"Tiberius chuckled.
"My turn…" Yasuha said. "I play a card in face-down defense position and end my turn by placing a card facedown."
"My turn!" The twin on the left said, placing a brave face on.
"I play a card down in face-down defense position and place another card down facedown, I end my turn by activating Raigeki."
A dark cloud formed below the ceiling before striking the facedown defense position, Kuriboh cried out before exploding into pixels.
"My turn." Tsushima's voice shook. "I activate Mooyan Curry, I choose Yasuha and myself to gain 200 life points, I place a card in facedown defense position and end my turn."
The castle behind them grew bigger as its walls became thicker as it gave them the rest of the life points of eight hundred.
9,000 – 11,000
"Hey, no fair!"
"Rules!"Tiberius shouted."You're in my world!"
"My turn!" The brother said sternly. I place a card in facedown defense position, I then activate chain energy. Each player must pay five hundred life points per card to normal summon, special summon, set, or activate cards from their respective hand, I end."
"My turn!" Yasuha said.
"I activate dark hole!" He held the card in the air. A large vortex opened below the ceiling as all the monsters were sucked into it and pixelated. "I then play Cannon Soldier in attack position!"
Tsushima's rose on her necklace glowed bright red as rose pedals grew below the two's feet. The pedals came together, covering them in a protective bud as they gained life points.
9,000 – 12,000
"You're cheating!" He pointed toward her.
"But, is she?"Tiberius asked."Continue playing!"
"My turn!" The other brother growled.
"I activate Harpie's Feather Duster!"
"I activate Gift of the Mystical Elf which gains us 300 points for each monster on the field!" Tsushima said.
9,000 – 13,000
A duster flew above the back row of Yasuha and Tsushima dusting them into the graveyard. "I place a card in defense position…" He groaned as a yellow substance jumped on his face and drained their life points before jumping off.
Tiberius wrapped his fingers around him and squeezed the remaining life points.
8,000 – 13,000
He growled and slammed his fists on the platform. "Why didn't we gain points?!"
"You sure are a whiner!"Tiberius said, reaching down he picked him up again and squeezed. He screamed as he fell back in the pod.
7,000 – 13,000
"I… I think you broke my arm!" He groaned, holding his arm as he lay in the pod.
"My turn!" Tsushima said through confidence.
"I play a card in facedown defense position…" The yellow substance jumped toward her but was stopped by the rose bud which protected them, gaining them life.
7,000 – 14,000
"I draw!" The other brother growled.
"I set a card in facedown defense position…" He groaned when their life points were drained.
6,000 – 14,000
"I draw!"Yasuha said.
"I activate Fairy Meteor Crush and place it on Cannon Soldier! Attack Cannon Soldier!"
Cannon Soldier aimed its cannon at the facedown defense monster and fired, man-eater bug jumped out and attack Cannon Soldier causing it to explode into pixels before exploding into pixels itself.
The brother groaned and held his arm as he was attacked by chip damage.
5,000 – 14,000
"My turn!" His hand shook as he grabbed a card using his hand with the broken arm.
"I place a card in facedown defense position…" He screamed as they lost more life points.
4,000 - 14,000
"My turn!" Tsushima said.
"I place a card in facedown defense position…" The buds protected them as they gained life.
3,000 – 15,000
"My turn!" The brother said.
"I place a card in facedown defense position." He screamed as he lost points.
2,000 – 15,000
"I activate Just Desserts!"
A giant hand came out of the card and reached for her face but was stopped by the rose bud. Gaining them more life points.
2,000 – 16,000
"You're not that smart, are you?"Tiberius chuckled.
"Shut up!"
Tiberius continued chuckling before laughing aloud. Reaching down he grabbed the twin and squeezed him. The brother screamed as he crushed him even harder.
1,000 – 16,000
Landing on the platform he held his ribs as his breathing grew raspy.
"I draw!" Yasuha said.
"I activate Dark Hole!" He held the card in the air, causing another large vortex to appear below the ceiling as all the monsters were sucked up, and exploded into pixilation's.
"I play Cannon Soldier in attack position!" He felt a feeling of warmth as they gained life.
1,000 – 17,000
"I play a card facedown and end my turn!"
"My turn!" The brother said.
"I play a card in facedown defense position!" He screamed as Tiberius dropped him back on the platform, breaking his legs. "Brother!"
0 – 17,000.
"We lost… we'll leave… you alone now."
Laughter filled the air around them. "The game ends, when I say it ends."
"We have no life points!" He shouted.
Tiberius laughed again. "Perhaps you need to be persuaded!" He grabbed his brothers body.
"Leave him alone!" He yelled as his brothers limp body lay on Tiberius's fingers. "Brother!" He yelled as Tiberius bit off his brothers top half and dropped the remaining back in its pod. "Game on!"
The brother's lower lip quivered as he looked at his brothers lower half laying on the floor of the pod.
"Let's play!" Tiberius shouted.
Tsushima shook her head. "I…"
"Play the game!"
She gulped and drew a card. "I… I play Electric Lizard into attack position and end my turn."
0 – 18,000
"My turn!" The brother said.
"I place a card facedown; and end my turn!" He looked at the board as his brothers cards went static before disappearing.
"My turn!"Yasuha said. He placed a card in facedown defense position before ending, along with his life points raising.
0 – 19,000
The opponent growled and drew. Looking at his hand he placed his hands on the platform and looked down. "I can't do this!" He said as tears fell on the platform.
"You'll ruin the cards by doing that!"Tiberius chuckled.
"Come on, man!" He screamed. "How much longer!"
"When I fill like it."
"My brother is dead!" He croaked with sadness.
"Not my problem!" He poked him on the head.
He growled and slammed his hands on the platform. "What's the use! I activate just desserts!"

"You are a poor, poor little man, aren't you?"
"Shut up!"
The opponent screamed as Tiberius crushed his body.
"Stop it!" Tsushima yelled.
He growled and dropped the opponent. He screamed as he fell out of the air and slammed back on the pod.

Tiberius held out his hand as the opponent's deck disappeared, seconds later Tiberius disappeared, and then the castle.
The pod lowered allowing the two off. "What was that!?" Tsushima pointed at the arena.
"I don't know."
"How do you not know!"
"I'm trying to figure out the cleansing rune myself! What about you!?"
"Me!"
"Yeah… I… Tiberius just saved your life!"
Tsushima slapped him in the face, hard. "You are exactly like Mr. Masashi!"
Yasuha shook his head. "I'm done." He said before walking away. "You're on your own!"
"I don't need you!" She yelled as he walked off into the woods.
Yasuha groveled as he walked through the woods. "Having trouble with your girlfriend?" A man asked.
Yasuha looked around, shaking his head he continued walking when he didn't see anyone. Feeling dread, he stopped walking. "She's not my girlfriend, wherever you are!"
"Turn around, and you'll find out."
He growled and turned around. "What do you want?" He asked the boy he fought from beforewearingthe crosswitha "U" on top.
"Until today, I thought I was the only one with a cleansing rune… now two, and possibly three." He held three fingers up. "Are in existence."
"What do you want?"
"I want to see how far the runes can go."
"I don't!" He growled. "Mine killed three people!"
"I'd gladly take it off your hands." He smiled rubbing his hands together.
"Pass! I am not going to allow you to use the power to kill everyone that offends you!"
"You assume too much."
"I assume too little!"
The player looked around toward the sky. "It's getting dark… do you have a place to lay low?"
"I'm guessing you do."
"You would guess right…" He held his hand out. "Names, Naririo Hidenji."
"Yasuha Hatoshi." He shook his hand.
"Come on… I'll show you, my place."
Tsushima sat under a tree as it grew darker, every second it got darker it brought more cold air causing her to shiver. Hearing some rustling and twigs snap in front of her, startled her, looking around. "H-Hello?" She said nervously.
She gasped when two people quickly ran toward her, placing a bag over her head she screamed when they picked her up and ran away. "Put me down!" She screamed, kicking and struggling, trying to get free.
She felt the ground shake before they put her on her feet. She fought as they grabbed her hands and feet but was eventually overpowered when she felt four cold cuffs latch around them, the bag was taken off her head and replaced with a collar. She was then raised in the air toward the dueling arena. "Let me go!" She tried getting out. She shrieked in pain when electricity flowed through her body, spasming she became paralyzed before gaining control again. Breathing heavily, she fell on the floor of the pod.
Hearing two more pods rise toward the arena, standing up she found two skinny men smiling at her. "The boss isn't being nice." One of them chuckled.
"I…" She spasmed out as electricity traveled through her body, blood trickled down her nose, ears, and eyes before she gained control. "Please…" She screamed as she was shocked again.
"Let's duel!"
"One vs two?" Her screams interrupted her as she was shocked again.
"No talking unless spoken to, or if it's your turn, like what a woman should do!"
"Let's make the Life points…" The other brought out a wire and plugged it into the platform, the screens glitched before going to 100,000 on both sides. "More fun we have with you." He chuckled.
"I draw!" One of the guys said. "I play Axe Raider in Attack position and end my turn by activating heart of the underdog and placing four cards on the field… Your turn." He chuckled at Tsushima.
She swallowed and drew a card. "I… I draw, I place two cards on the field, and then activate Red Medicine." Red Medicine appeared on the platform, it started boiling before slowly changing to black, screaming her life points drained, drastically. "What's happening?" She asked as she watched her life points lower, 90,000, 80,000, 70,000… She started getting flashbacks from slapping Yasuha. "No, I'm sorry!" She screamed holding her head. 50,000.
Yasuha sat down on a rock, shaking his head. "I can't believe that."
"Thinking about your girlfriend?"
"She's not my girlfriend!" He said sternly. "I help her build a deck, and then blames me for rescuing her from two thugs trying to kidnap us."
Naririo chuckled and shook his head. "Women."
"You can say that again."
"Those thugs have been coming after me ever since I got here." He reached behind some rocks and pulled out a duffle bag, opening it revealed it to be filled with cards.
"Woah!" Yasuha exclaimed. "May I?" He pointed toward the bag.
"Be my guest." He zipped it back up before throwing it at him.
"This is incredible!" He looked through the cards. "I've only snatched a couple of decks from those guys. Who are they anyways, and who is this Mr. Masashi?" He asked looking up.
"Don't know… but whoever he is, we need to be extremely careful. The thugs are getting more and more dangerous as we speak."
"You're not lying…" He slowly stopped speaking, looking toward the ground he jolted up. "Tsushima!" He yelled running out of the cave followed by Naririo.
"Tsushima!" The two yelled running through the woods. "Tsushima!"
The two stopped when they heard screaming coming from outside the trees, peaking out they found Tsushima holding her head while screaming. "Tsushima!" Yasuha yelled running out of the trees.
Tsushima felt her necklace heating up which caused her to look up, hearing Yasuha's voice she turned around. "Yasuha!" She shouted; her body suddenly stiffened up before she fell back as electricity ran through her body.
"Stop it!" Yasuha shouted.
The players laughed as they held the trigger. "Poor, Poor, Tsushima."
Naririo jumped in the fourth pod and rose to the arena. "Let's duel!" He shouted. "Me vs the likes of you!"
"Your funeral!" One of them snickered.
"Not mine, yours!" Naririos cross glowed black as the mist covered the arena. "I draw!"
"Ah… What's happening!?" The opponent screamed.
100,000 – 50,000
"I play Armored Zombie in Attack position."
"Ha Ha Ha… how do you expect to get past my axe raider."
"I don't!"
Axe raider cried as his attack lowered causing him to crumble onto the floor. "Ah! What's happening!?"
"Welcome to my world!" He laughed, his skin grew darker as Armored Zombie's attack gained Axe Raider's, now 3200, Attack!"
The opponent screamed as Armored Zombie sliced through Axe Raider, and then attacked him. Gasping he fell to one knee.
68,000 – 50,000
"I place two cards facedown, and then activate burning land and end my turn."
The other opponent gasped as it was his turn. "I draw." He whimpered. He shrieked as he was engulfed in flames.
63,000 – 50,000
"I activate Harpies feather duster…" A duster feather dusted the backrow of Naririo. "I place three cards facedown and then activate Nightmare's steelcage and end my turn."
A cage appeared, covering Armored Zombie. "I draw!" Naririo said. "I play Dragon Zombie in attack position and end my turn." Another cage appeared, covering Dragon Zombie.
"My turn!" The other opponent said. "Since I drew a normal monster…" He revealed Red-eyes black dragon. "I get to draw, thanks to Heart of the Underdog. I draw again." He revealed a second Axe Raider. "I activate Call of the haunted and bring back Axe Raider!"
The arena broke open as Axe Raider jumped out, landing it crumpled to the ground losing it's attack. "What… I play a card in facedown defense position!" A cage appeared covering Axe Raider.
Naririo held out his hand in front of him causing Red-eyes black dragon to appear in attack position; appearing, it immediately slumped down losing its attack. A cage appeared covering Red-eyes black dragon.
"I draw." Naririo said. His monster growled as they gained the attack stats. Armored Zombie at 3200, and Dragon Zombie at 4000. Naririos skin grew more and more darker until he became a bright green color, his flesh rotted along with his lips that cracked open revealing yellow bloodied teeth. His body became gaunt as his breathing became raspy. "I play another Armored Zombie in attack position and end my turn!" He growled. The ground broke open as a hand reached out of the arena, pulling itself out a zombie wearing samurai armor stood on the arena. A cage appeared, covering it, seconds later the cages disappeared.
"I draw… I activate Robbin' Goblin and Skull Invitation. I then place a card in facedown defense position and end my turn."
Naririo raised an eyebrow, holding his hand out in front of him Man-eater bug appeared in attack position before crumbling to the ground, losing it's attack. Armored Zombie growled as his attack grew to 1950. "I draw…" His hair became thin and started falling from his head. "Let's see." He looked at his monsters, and then at the opponents life points.
63,000 – 50,000
"Dragon Zombie attack Red-eyes… then, Armored Zombie attack Axe Raider… and then Armored Zombie #2 attack Man-eater bug." He looked up at his opponents who were panicking as there bodies shook. "You'll be fine." He chuckled.
The zombies growled as they walked forward. "Attack!" Naririo shouted.
The zombies screamed and ran and flew toward there targets. The opponents screamed as they watched their screens crack as they lost life points. "It's a first, negative 2350!" Naririo growled, standing on the pod. The opponents screamed as he jumped toward them. Blood curdling screams rang through the island.
Yasuha ran toward the pods as they lowered. "Tsushima!" He said in a panic. "Are you okay?" He tore off the electric cuffs, picked her up and placed her on the ground. "Tsushima!" He placed his ear on her chest trying to hear a heartbeat, rising up he placed his ear near her mouth and nose. "Come on!" He growled as he started doing chest compressions. She gasped awake, rolling on her side she started coughing.
