A/N: Hey guys its Chaos back with another chapter, sorry for the late uploads but hey were here now.

"...Kill…Them" A familiar brunette boy mumbled in a daze

'...en'

"I'll kill them all.."

'...Eren'

"...Every last one of them…I will kill every single one of them"

"Eren!"

Eren Yeager was quickly woken up and on alert when he heard the voice of his best friend Armin. He sat up and looked around to see both Armin and Mikasa beside him. From the looks of things they were all inside a different district inside the walls that wasn't Trost. He also saw a lot of the fresh new cadets were here as well, considering he was alive it must have meant he survived the Titans invasion in Trost. However, that didn't make any sense, he should be dead shouldn't he?

"W-what happened?" Eren asked out confused

"Oh thank god, I'm so glad you're okay Eren" Armin said as both him and Mikasa came to hug the still dazed and confused Eren.

"Um yeah but…what's going on?...what happened in Trost…and…and…how do I?" Eren said as he looked at his arm and leg that was supposed to be bitten off, instead they weren't and were working perfectly as Eren brought his hand to his face.

"It's a long a story that may take a while to explain" Mikasa said

"Besides you probably won't even believe a word they say if they were to tell you what happened" A voice made itself known to the group. Eren looked ahead to see Jean walking up to them with a calm expression on his face.

"Jean? Just what the hell are you talking about?" Eren asked, annoyed, why won't they just tell him what's going on, what could be so unbelievable that they are having a hard time explaining to him. Jean was about to speak until the voice of Mina cut him off.

"Hey guys I have a bad feeling, I think we should follow where that soldier was taking Asta" Mina said

"Really, are you missing your boyfriend already?" Connie teased as he walked up to her

"H-h-he's not my b-boyfriend, I just have a bad feel of what Captain Woermann wants with Asta" Mina said with a bright blush sport her face

'Mina's alive, so is Nack and Milieus' Eren thought to himself looking up ahead to the members of his team 'Though who is Asta?'

"I'm with Mina, I too am feeling pretty anxious on what they want with Asta" Milieus said walking beside Mina

"Yeah I can't deny that that" Connie agreed scratching the back of his head

"Yeah me too" Sasha nodded with Jean also having an expression of agreement

"Ok I'm tired of no one answering my questions, what's going on? What happened in Trost and who the hell is Asta?!" Eren stood up yelling his annoyance. Armin was the first to speak as he was possibly the best to give the shortest and simplest summarization.

"Just relax Eren I'll tell you, *sign* To answer your questions in the simplest way possible, this Asta person essentially saved all our lives by incapacitating all the Titans in Trost and helping seal the destroyed gate.

When Eren heard this, he naturally had a look of disbelief on his face. Just one guy was capable of taking out all those Titans in Trost, not only that but he somehow found a way to seal the destroyed gate in what Eren assumed to be in a couple of hours. This all sounded too good to be true, can such a person like that exist? Maybe Armin could be exaggerating a bit and got some help from some other soldiers, but that still left the question on who exactly is this guy?

"No way…are you bullshitting me?" Eren asked in shock, with Armin shaking his head. Eren was about to ask some more questions but didn't get the chance when Mina's voice was heard.

"Guys I don't mean to be impatient or anything but can we please headout already?"

"Alright alright we'll go and see how your boyfriend is doing?" Jean said, causing Mina to glare at him with a blush on her face, but she didn't say anything as she and some other cadets started to follow the direction that the soldiers took Asta. Eren wanted to ask more questions and was definitely annoyed that he was interrupted but for now he decided to follow the others with Armin and Mikasa behind him, plus he was actually curious on what this Asta person looked like. The cadets quickly made their way to Asta location as for the ashen haired boy he wished that he were in better circumstances as of now.

Asta's POV

'This is insane, I was just trying to help them, they don't need to act all hostile towards me do they?' The magic knight thought to himself almost mentally signing as he looked ahead of his surroundings. He was currently standing in front of a wall with a good number of soldiers surrounding him as they kept their distance from him. They all had their swords pointing towards him as many of the soldiers adopted expressions that were a mixture of fear, anxiety, nervousness and some of curiosity. Just at the top of the buildings ahead of Asta were also canons that were pointing towards the ashen haired teenager.

At the very top stood the person known as Captain Kitz Woermann and beside him stood some other soldiers as they looked at Asta with suspicion filled in their eyes.

"Hey there seems to be some mistake here I'm not your enemy-!" Asta was about to step forward but the yelling of Captain Woermann stopped him in his tracks

"Don't you dare move! If I suspect anything slightly suspicious you will be executed via cannon fire, do I make myself clear!?"

Now Asta was pretty confident he could dodge the cannonballs fired at him with easy, hell he could probably tank the hits and not even have a scratch on him but these were scared and don't really understand who or what he is, giving them an incentive to attack would probably make them listen to reason a lot more harder.

"Yeah…I understand"

"There are questions that I'll ask you, failure to answer or if I detect any lie would result in execution via canon, do you understand?!" Captain Woermann yelled

'Execution for not answering a question is a bit much isn't it' Asta thought to himself but he nodded in understanding.

"Reports say that a mysterious flying person with an odd appearance has been encasing Titans in various materials, you seem to fit that description. Reports have also stated that you are responsible for sealing up the destroyed gate of Trost with Glass. The question I ask is who are you and how are you able to do this strange phenomena?

Asta held in a groan as he was really getting annoyed having to answer the same questions over and over again but he answered nonetheless.

"My name is Asta I'm from the Clover kingdom and what I did was use magic to immobilize those giants"

Upon hearing that answer many of the soldiers muttered to themselves in scepticism and disbelief. Being able to use magic sounds like something that you would hear in fantasy books, however what other explanation could explain what this person in front of them was doing.

Asta then noticed some familiar Ki signatures and looked ahead to the side to see Mina, Jean, Armin, Connie, Mikasa and the other cadets looking at what was transpiring. He couldn't entirely make out their expressions but from the looks of this it seemed that they were concerned for his current predicament.

"There is no such place known as the Clover kingdom here and Magic? Do you honestly expect me to believe that?!" Woermann questioned the ashen haired teen.

"I'm telling you is the truth, I mean how else would I be able to fly then or immobilize those giants?!" Asta asked as many of the soldiers did think to themselves that what logical reason besides magic could be the cause of this person's abilities.

"...Fine then if that's how you want it, let's say you are telling the truth, what exactly is your purpose here to begin with?!" Woermann asked as his patience was getting very thin with the magic knight

"Look I don't entirely understand how I got here in the first place! I'm just trying to find a way back home, I was flying to see where I was until I noticed people being attacked by those Titans. So I did what I had to do, immobilizing the giants and saving who I can!"

Some of the soldiers began to murmur to themselves again, wondering if they could really trust this person. While it was true that he prevented a lot of casualties, his strange abilities and origin made him unsettling. The cadets observed the situation with varying degrees of worry on their faces.

"So that's Asta?" Eren asked as he looked at the ashen haired teen that was being cornered by the soldiers. He was perplexed by the appearance of the magic knight. He didn't entirely know what to expect but he didn't expect to see a boy with half his torso covered in some crystal blue like substance.

"Yeah that's him" Mikasa confirmed

"We have to do something, we can't just leave him after he saved our lives" Mina spoke up

"*sign* don't be reckless Mina there is nothing we can do in this situation. If we were to go there right now we would be putting ourselves in on death's door" Jean signed stroking his hair.

"But-"

"I think he'll be fine Mina, I mean you've seen what he's capable of" Reiner reassured her walking closer to the view.

'He can fly, manipulate wind, create large quantities of glass, ice, metal and manipulate stone. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more abilities we aren't aware of, but what's really important is how exactly we deal with him. If we're lucky we could try to convince him to join our side…but I think that may be the least likely outcome to happen.

Killing him is the best way to make sure Paradis doesn't have a strong ally. Perhaps poison could be the best method of disposing him' The Titan shifter thought to himself as he continued to observe the scene

"I don't even think it would lead to that point, so far Asta hasn't really done anything that seems suspicious that would warrant an execution " Connie said with a few of them agreeing.

For Captain Kitz Woermann he didn't say anything as he continued to look at Asta for a few seconds until he finally spoke.

"So…are you saying you're an ally of humanity?"

"Yes, yes I am!" Asta's voice boomed as Captain Woermann continued to look at him

"...I see…in that case you would have to come with us to meet the council and the remaining commanders. Abilities that you possess would be greatly beneficial in destroying the Titans." Captain Woermann said, his voice sounding less hysteric. It looked like things were going to be settled peacefully without any issues, unfortunately Asta said something that would quickly increase the hostility towards him.

"Phew, I'm glad we could come to an understanding, though I can't exactly have those giants get killed." Asta said casually. Upon hearing this the soldiers turned towards Asta in confusion and alarm.

"What? What do you mean you can't exactly have the Titans get killed?!" Woermann yelled out in confusion "You say you're an ally of humanity but you're going to kill the Titans, explain yourself!"

"Oi calm down would you, I'm getting there!" Asta said, although that seemed to have made Captain Woermann's mood even worse as he looked ready to give the command to shoot Asta on sight.

"I can't have you or anyone kill the Titans because those man-eating giants are humans!" Yelled out leaving everyone to hear. The moment those words left Asta's mouth there was nothing but pure silence, various soldiers having looks of disbelief, scepticism and horror.

Back with the cadets, Eren upon hearing what Asta said had various expressions written on his face, but the main one that was notable was anger, anger at the audacity for Asta to say Titans are people. It did make sense, afterall it was the Titans that drove him and his friends out of their home, it was the Titans that led humanity to near extinction and it was the Titans that led to his mothers death. For this stranger to claim these mindless monsters are humans felt like a spit in the face on everything Eren had experienced throughout his life.

"What the fuck is this guy saying" Eren growled glaring at Asta "Does he seriously expect us to believe that Titans are human beings?!"

Upon hearing this a lot of the cadets were actually hesitant to answer much less agree with Eren. Even Armin and Mikasa didn't want to believe what Asta was saying but when a guy displaying supernatural abilities tells you something it's pretty hard not believe what he's saying.

"E-eren, not that I 100 percent believe what he's saying, it's just…what if he's telling the truth?" Armin asked

"What?" Eren asked shocked written all over his face

"All I'm saying is we should consider what he's saying. I mean what reason does he have to lie, if Titans really are humans this changes everything we understand about our enemy, such as who or what is creating them?" Armin reasoned with his childhood friend. Eren wanted to refute what Armin was saying but he did make a good point, so for now the brunette held and just continued looking at the scene with a glare.

"Are you trying to make a fool out of me!, do you honestly expect me to believe those abominations are human beings!" Woermann yelled hysterically at the ashen haired teenager.

"Hey I know it sounds crazy to you but-"

"ENOUGH!, the Titans are mindless monsters and have brought nothing but death and destruction onto humanity, yet here you are saying you can't have them be eradicated because you claim they are people?!" Woermann asked rhetorically as he was huffing and puffing.

"Captain Woermann, while it's hard to say if this person is trustworthy I do think we should take into consideration what he's saying" A female soldier known as Rico Brzenska said to the frightened captain.

"Don't be fooled by him! Anyone that would prevent the elimination of the Titans is an enemy to mankind. As a matter of fact for all we know he could be the one that orchestrated the attack on Trost working with the Armoured and Colossal Titan!" Woermann said as fear once again reigned on the soldiers as they had their weapons ready to attack Asta.

"Wait now hold on! I'm in no way working with the Titans and I have no intention of harming anyone!" Asta yelled defending himself but it didn't seem like the captain was going to listen

"A likely story, as I said before, anything that I deem suspicious would lead to your execution, your confirmation of defending the Titans is an indication that your are a threat to humanity" It wasn't looking good for Asta as the cadets now had alarmed expressions on their faces, even Eren. Despite him thinking Asta was insane to believe that Titans were people he didn't want to actually see him die, especially hearing that he is the reason a majority of his friends are still alive.

"I will ask you this one more time, are you an ally to mankind or not?!"

"I told you before, I am!" Asta said with his hands raised trying to show that he was not a threat. There was silence for a few seconds until Captain Woermann raised his hand indicating for the cannon to be shot at Asta.

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

The sound of a cannon was heard throughout Trost as the cannonball was sent directly towards Asta. The place Asta was standing was covered in smoke as no one could see Asta but a majority of the soldiers thought that he died when the cannonball hit him.

"T-they didn't actually kill him did they?" Sasha asked nervously

"N-no t-they couldn't ha-"

"HEEEEEEY!, would you just listen to me for a second! I'm just trying to help you here!" Almost everyone that heard Asta's had their eyes widened to hear that the ashen haired teen was still alive. They looked ahead to see the smoke cleared and instead of seeing Asta's corpse they saw him standing with a purple barrier in front of him. Upon closer inspection there were remaining scraps of the cannonball that seemed to have hit the barrier laying on the floor.

"W-what is that?" Rico asked in awe from seeing the purple barrier

"Tch it doesn't matter what it is, continue to fire at him!" Woermann said as several more canons were aimed at the ashen haired teen.

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

Several cannonballs were sent towards Asta but they were all met with the same result as they were destroyed the moment they made impact on the purple barrier.

"...are you done now" Asta said with an annoyed tone, he was starting to get irritated but he did his best to remain as civil as possible. The soldiers and Woermann were now panicking and looking at Asta in fear, their strongest weapons did absolutely nothing to the magic knight and if Asta wanted to retaliate right now there was nothing they could do.

"*sign* Is there anyone that is willing to listen to me!?" Asta exclaimed, this whole situation anyonned him and was thinking of just flying off to try and figure things out himself. Luckily his prayers were answered when a gentle aged voice spoke up.

"Perhaps this old fossil will be willing to listen to you"

Everyone turned around to see a bald old man with a grey mustache wearing the garrison uniform and a red sash walking up to Captain Woermann. This man was known as Commander Dot Pixis.

"C-C-Commander Pixis?!" Woermann squealed out in both surprise and relief thinking he would know what to do in this situation.

"I heard the reports as I was making my way here that an unidentified individual was flying around Trost immobilizing Titans and saving various people, I'm assuming that individual is you?" Pixis asked although it seemed more like a statement if anything.

'Hmm this guy seems important, maybe perhaps talking to him can get everyone to listen' Asta thought to himself

"Yes that's me"

"Hmm I see, tell me Woermann what exactly is the problem that led you to shoot at this gentleman?"

"Commander Pixis this person is a threat to humanity, he is defending the Titans and is saying complete nonsense"

"It isn't nonsense those Titans are real humans!" When Pixis heard that he had his eyebrow raised in shock but quickly returned to his calm demeanor.

"Really now? If what you're saying is true then are you able to provide proof" Pixis asked

"Yes I can show you" Asta said with a small smile "I can go get one of the trapped Titans and prove it to you right here right now"

"He can't be for real can he"
"There's no way we can trust him"
"How do we know this isn't some trick"
The various soldiers murmured to themselves thinking this was a bad idea

"Alright then show me your proof" Pixis agreed shocking Woermann and the other soldiers

"Commander we can't just let him go what if he-"

*WHOOSH*

In an instant Asta was already gone moving so fast barely anyone could register the speed, even leaving the commander in shock.

"W-wha? Where did he go?" Eren asked in bewilderment at the speed just displayed to him.

"It sounded like he was gonna get proof that Titans are humans using one of the trapped titans from Trost," Reiner said, narrowing his eyes at the location where the ashen teen stood.

'How's he gonna do that…perhaps…is he gonna do what I think it is' Armin thought to himself, widening his eyes a bit.

Less than 15 seconds passed and Asta was already flying back holding a 10 meter tall titan encased in steel with one hand. He landed to where he was once standing and gently put the Titan down. Considering the man-eating giant was encased in magic metal there was no way for it to actually get out, but that didn't leave the soldiers any less frightened and on guard. Even Pixis had to stay on guard in case anything were to happen.

"Are you going to present your evidence now?" Commander Pixis asked

"Yeah I'll show you that Titans are human right here right now" Asta said as his hand touched part of the exposed head of the Titan "Time Magic"

When Asta whispered those words his hand touching the Titan suddenly glowed blue as the Titans body began morphing. The creature suddenly glowed a bright yellow as the Titan started shrinking in size, the yellow glow fading out as all that was left was an unconscious human male that Asta caught in his arms.

Silence was all that was heard throughout the entire area, it was so noticeable you could hear a pin drop. No one could say anything at what they all just witnessed. A Titan once thought to be a mindless monster and just been turned into a human.

Pixis was left speechless, the soldiers had their jaws dropped and the cadets were in utter disbelief. What Asta did completely changed everything they understood about Titans for better or for worse. However for the 3 Marleyan spies that saw this their situation just went from bad to worse as Reiner could only think of 1 word that best described the situation they were in.

'Fuck'
