Chapter 5
"Hey you ready to hit the beach? Wait! You brought your board right?" Alex raised a perfectly manicured brow at her cousin. "Of course I did. It was the first thing I put in the garage when I got here." Sam grinned at her. "You gonna surf wearing that?" She laughed as he looked at her pink mini dress. "I have my suit underneath. What about you nerd?" She looked at his green shorts and black t-shirt. "I just surf in my shorts. I'm good."
They headed downstairs opening the door and Alex was opening the garage as Twister was walking up the driveway. He was also wearing shorts, brown, with a blue t-shirt, and a towel hanging around his neck, carrying a red surfboard. Alex turned her head to look at him. "He looks really good in shorts." She thought. "You guys ready to hit the waves dude?" He asked Sam with a big grin, showing his perfect teeth. "Just gotta grab our boards." Sam pulled out his tan longboard while Alex went to grab hers from the corner where she had it set. "That's your board?" Twister asked when he saw it. "Yeah why?" "It's sweet!" It was hot Pink with a mural of waves right in the middle. "Thanks." "Guessing pink is your favorite color?" "You guessed right." She answered with a laugh.
He walked over as she turned around and he saw how her dress v'd down to her breasts. He realized he was staring and quickly pulled his eyes up to hers. "Uh, you want me to get on top? I mean get it on top, the board I mean. Or in the back? Or something?" Alex giggled at the way he stumbled over his words and how his face turned slightly red. "In the back would be great, thanks." Sam looked at the two and rolled his eyes but smiled.
Twister didn't usually get so tongue tied around girls anymore. He, Sam, and Otto both had become three of the best looking guys in Ocean Shores and always had girls chasing after them. Sam was interested in one girl and ignored the rest, and Otto loved the attention and went out with a lot of girls, not really sticking with one. But Twister, even though he acted like a bad boy and was repeatedly asked, really didn't go out often, sticking with just hanging out with his small group of friends. Seeing him act so goofy made Sam laugh. He knew guys found his cousin good looking and expected it to happen, however, he was surprised that Twister, who never seemed interested in anyone, now looked like he was interested in Alex.
After they got all three boards loaded into the back of the SUV, Alex got behind the wheel, the other two climbed in, and they headed down to the beach. After parking, they jumped out and the two boys pulled their shirts off. Alex looked at Twisters' tanned well defined abs and muscular arms, noticing a tattoo across his chest and on his left bicep. "Wow!" She thought. She thought Twister was gorgeous and pretty sweet despite his tough guy look. He saw her looking at him and smiled, unaware of the fact that his grin made her pulse race. "What?" "Um, just wondering if anyone needed to wax their board." She answered quickly. The boys both shook their heads. They grabbed their boards and towels from the back when Alex's phone started buzzing. "It's my mom. You guys go ahead and I'll meet you down there." "You sure?" "Yeah, it'll just be a few minutes."
The two boys walked down to the water. The sky was clear, there was a warm breeze, and the waves didn't disappoint. Seeing a lot of their classmates and a few friends the guys waved as they walked over. Several girls were staring at the two good looking guys and called out to them, "Looking good guys." "Hey Trish." Sam said when they got over to a couple of girls standing on the sand drinking bottles of water. The girl with straight brown hair that came down past her shoulders, looked at him and gave him a big smile. "Hi Sam." The other girls standing with her were looking at Twister. "Hi Twister." One said with a giggle. "Sup?" He replied. "Is that a new tattoo?" The other asked, staring at his arm. "Got it a couple months ago." "It's really hot." "Thanks." He answered casually. "How was your weekend?" Sam, still smiling, asked Trish. "It was so sweet! We went ziplining."
"Hey dorks." Twister saw his brother and his friends, Pi and Animal standing there holding their own surfboards. "Hey ladies." He said with a grin. "How was the road trip? Did you like any of the schools you checked out?" Sam asked, knowing the three had been looking at colleges and just got back the day before Alex moved in. Lars shrugged. "I'm thinking about Nevada State. What are you weirdos doing?" Twister rolled his eyes. "Gonna catch some waves. Duh!" The other two girls with Trish looked at each other. "We were just getting ready to head back out right Kayla?" "Totally!" "Are you going back out too Trish?" Sam asked shyly. Trish smiled up at him. "Yeah." "Let's go grab our boards."
The three girls walked away just as Alex walked over carrying her board, a pair of polarized sunglasses sitting on her head and her hair blowing around her face from the warm wind. "Hey guys this is my cousin Alex." "Dude, no way! You're the one the twisted one was hanging out with?" Alex laughed. "In the flesh." "You ready to hit the waves?" Sam asked her. "Just need to put on some sunscreen."
Alex pulled her dress over her head and everyone stared. She was wearing a turquoise bandeau top that had a large peephole cutout in the middle of her breasts and cheeky bottoms that highlighted her perfect curves and showed just a hint of her smooth backside. Sam groaned as the other four boys' mouths dropped open. "She's smoking hot!" "Definitely!" "Guys, that's my cousin. Gross." "She's not our cousin man." Alex, unaware of the conversation happening behind her, pulled out a bottle and began rubbing it on her arms and legs. She looked over and saw Twister standing close by. "Hey, can you do me a favor?" "Anything." He answered quickly, making her laugh. "Will you just get my back for me? I can't reach." He took the bottle from her, putting some on his hands, and began to rub it into her shoulders and back. As he spread it on her lower back, right above her butt, he felt his pulse quickening. She turned back around with a smile. "Thanks." "Anytime!" He said with a wink causing her to blush slightly.
The three other guys watched in envy. Lars swore, "Man I should've been standing closer." "You're telling me. Your brother is one lucky s.o.b" Pi replied as they still stared, watching Twisters hands moving slowly on her tanned skin.
The other three girls ran back over carrying their boards. They stopped short when they saw Alex. Sam looked at them smiling. "This is my cousin Alex." Trish smiled, walking up to her. "I'm Trish. This is Sherry and Kayla." She said, referring to the two girls behind her. Alex gave them all a bright smile while she put her sunglasses on. "Nice to meet you." "Girl that suit is hot!" Kayla told her, making Alex laugh. "Thanks. You guys all heading out on the water too?" "Heck ya!" Lars said as he and his friends grabbed their boards. Twister was still standing, his eyes on Alex. "¿Qué me está haciendo?" (What is she doing to me?)
The teens all paddled out towards the waves and sat on their boards. "How long you here for?" Sherry asked Alex. "I just moved in actually." "Sweet! What grade are you in?" "I'm going to be a junior." "Hey us too!" "Yo check out this sweet move." Lars yelled, making the girls look over. He was riding a wave doing a superman pose before wiping out. Twister groaned. "Leave it to Lars to try to impress the girls." "Well come on Twister, show us your moves." Alex said, winking at him. He froze, "Oh, uh.." "While you decide, I'm gonna hit the waves." She told them as she headed out. She rode the wave effortlessly and as she got to the top, she did an aerial landing flawlessly. "Crap dude you see that?!" Pi yelled as the group cheered. Twister wasn't listening. He had his camera trained on Alex and his mouth open. "Ella es increíble." He said to himself. (She is amazing)
"Where'd you learn to surf?" Trish asked when Alex came paddling back. "We lived by the beach for the last few years." "Right on girl." Kayla looked over and saw all but Sam still staring. Giggling she turned to the other girls. "Well if they're gonna sit there with their mouths open, let's ride." The other three agreed and started heading out. Trish called over her shoulder, "You guys coming or what?" The boys scrambled to catch up, and the group spent the next couple hours surfing and enjoying the perfect day.
