6 weeks following Carrie's Prom humiliation & disappearance from Chamberlain, Maine altogether, All the students of Thomas Ewen Highschool, including those who tormented Carrie the worst: The Mortimer Snerds, had all their graduation ceremony cancelled, their graduation certificates and grades retracted, and even their applications to colleges and universities refused, once the news of all they had done spread throughout the state.
Police departments throughout the state begin searching for Carrie following her disappearance, linking together as much information as possible, trying to locate Carrie's last known whereabouts, even residence of Chamberlain, try searching every possible place Carrie could have gone… until news comes back to them, that Carrie was last spotted near Crystal Lake in New Jersey…
A Search party, consisting of: Sue Snell, Tommy Ross, Rita Desjardin, Henry Morton, and several others, go to New Jersey, searching for Carrie, asking locals if they'd seen her, or any intel on Crystal Lake, where they all learn the legend of Jason Voorhees…
