Chapter 21

Showdown at Cremation Creek Part II

The Cocoon

It wasn't long before the guests began scrambling to their escapes, with Naruto and Vespertina joining up with Brock, while Hank was hanging from a pillar in fear, with Brock trying to get Hank to find his brother, with Naruto and Vespertina helping him herd the guests out.

Though it wasn't long until everyone had escaped, Phantom Limb then reappeared on the monitor once more, though made a comment about Sheila being irrational due to her gender, "Wait, d-did that asshole just made a anti-equality sexist remark, I mean, come on, everyone who aren't sexist knows that women can do what men can, though, they can do it better due to being able to do it while wearing high heels." Naruto exclaimed, having witnessed this by his own mother as evidenced, with Brock agreeing since he was proven it during his first "meeting" with Molotov.

Hearing this, Vespertina gave Naruto a quick kiss on the cheek for standing up to the sexist dick, only for David's followers to become traitors, with the black suit wearing one screaming enough to send Naruto and Vespertina into a wall, knocking Naruto out for a bit since he used his own body to protect Vespertina, with her trying to wake Naruto up, missing David being turned into a pack of cigarettes, with Brock and Monarch taking on the pair, but it was pretty obvious that the Monarch wasn't physically strong, since the traitor used his bowtie to knock him into Brock, allowing the duo to escape.

Brock quickly woke up, giving him enough time to help Vespertina to wake his son up, as well as catch the Monarch before he tries something stupid in order to get his wife, Sheila, back from Phantom Limb.

"Dammit! I can't believe that I didn't anticipate those asshole's powers, well, let's get this rescue on the why, so, dad, what's the plan." Naruto complains about his lack of foresight, but quickly moves on in order to figure out how to save Sheila from the sexist jackass.

Soon everyone was scrambling into battle stations, with Naruto and Vespertina looking into the inventory and armoury, where Naruto had a quick look at a spare set of henchmen wings, though what he saw surprised the two, though Naruto then had a smirk on his face at an idea he just thought up for the wings, with Vespertina getting a little turned on at the look.

It wasn't long before the cocoon took off with the helicopter wasps chasing after it, all the while Naruto was working on his project, with Vespertina dabbing his brow of any sweat he gained from his concentration, as well as trying to keep his hand steady from the flying cocoon's rocking as it dodges the blasters from the helicopters.

Though Brock soon began his speech, though it turns out the henchmen's wings could actually allow them to fly, but due to only attack the Venture Compound they didn't even know about that function.

With Hank wanting to help out, but Brock put his foot down, where Naruto just came back with his finished project, "Hey dad, lose those outdated wings and put these on!" Naruto quickly exclaimed, with Brock doing so, only for the wings to change form and look like a pair of angel wings.

This surprised Brock, where he then looks at his son questionably, with Naruto answering, "Turns out, these things have a "camouflage mode" that allows for stealth missions, so, after some tweaking, I made you a pair of "Icarus" wings, from your led zeppelin album, figured you'd want that instead of butterfly wings." Naruto states with a cheeky grin.

Brock was so excited at the thought that he gave Naruto a big squeeze, practically choking him in his big arms, "That is so AWESOME! Alright let's go!"

With Brock putting Naruto back down, allowing him to catch his breath, with Vespertina patting his back, henchmen 21 came up to him, "Hey, do you think you can tweak my wings, I think I'd look awesome with some devil wings." He requested from Naruto.

"(Ahem!) S-Sorry, I only had enough time to sort out my dad's wings, but if we survive this you'll have to have a look through your manual or something just to have an idea on your outfit's functions." Naruto answered, after getting back to normal, with 21 whining about not knowing about these things.

Later

It wasn't long before Brock was pushing the henchmen outside, allowing them to fly, with Naruto and Vespertina coming up next, with the woman holding a gun, though Brock noticed something, "Hey Naruto where are your wings!?" He couldn't help but ask.

Naruto just smiled, "Actually, I have my own way to fly." He then wrapped his arm around the woman's waist, causing her to gasp slightly in surprise, where Naruto then jumps out of the hatch, causing Brock to quickly look out side.

"(WHISTLE!)"

"(RRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!)"

Where during the fall, Naruto put his fingers to his lips and whistled loudly, where before everyone's eyes his motorcycle roared into view, jumping into the canyon after Naruto, where Naruto grabs the bike, only for the front and back wheels to split apart and have a blue light emanating from them, suddenly Naruto and Vespertina had stopped falling, where Naruto drove the now flying motorcycle to the hatch, where he father was and gave the man a cheeky salute and grin, with Vespertina sitting back-to-back on Naruto's bike, who then blew Brock a kiss.

With the two taking off to help fight off the helicopters, with Naruto using his front guns for the attack, while Vespertina watched his back, using her rifle to shoot at anything that may target Naruto.

Seeing this, "SHOW OFF!" Brock yells out, but chuckles at the sight of Naruto being cheeky.

It wasn't long before the bullets start to fly, though Naruto heard over the radios that Hank had "joined" in on the fight, causing Naruto to groan, "Of all the stupid, irresponsible... (grumble!)" He then takes his axe off his back and throws it at one of the helicopter rotor, causing it to fall out of the sky and explode, then holds his hand out and recalls his axe back to him, with Vespertina watching his back for him.

Though Naruto then calls Brock over the radio, "Oh yeah dad, there's another function that your wings can do, just be grateful that you're wearing goggles." Where Naruto then tells brock to press the button hidden underneath the left strap, causing Brock's wings to spread out more, forming a more eagle-like appearance, making Brock fly faster as if he was an eagle.

"There you go dad, now you'll be able to divebomb just as fast as any eagle, though it'll be up to you how you use that function."

"Naruto, you are getting a raise in your allowance!" Brock exclaimed over the radio in extreme happiness.

Though Vespertina was puzzled by this, "Doesn't he know about your devil's luck in gambling!?" She asked over the roar of the winds, though Naruto's response was putting his index finger to his lips, signalling to keep quiet about that, causing her to giggle at such a thing.

Everyone continued their fight against the helicopters, with Hank getting in a lucky shot.

Though while Naruto and Vespertina were shooting, the woman yelled out, "IS IT WRONG THAT I'M GETTING TURNED ON BY THIS!?" Shooting her rifle.

"IT'D BE WRONG IF YA DIDN'T BABE!" Naruto yells back, taking out a helicopter with his twin guns.

"Naruto! Ya do know you both just said that on an open comm, right!?" Brock yells out to the couple over the radio.

Hearing this, the two could only say one thing together, ""DAMMIT!"" While taking their anger and frustration out on the helicopters, though their exclaim had caused the whole group's moral to rise, due to how funny such a thing was, with some being a little jealous that Naruto was getting "along" with Vespertina.

"NARUTO! WHEN THIS IS OVER, YOU'RE GONNA HAVE SOME EXTRA FUN TONIGHT!" She states, making Naruto pause for a second, then starts grinning in a crazy fashion, where then then grabs his axe once more, charges it up with enough energy, where he then swings it, causing an energy wave to hit the spinning blades of three helicopters causing their rotors to freeze over and crash to the rocky floor below.

Though it wasn't long before the helicopters were taken care of and Sheila was rescued, though Phantom Limb had escaped, with David Bowie returning, showing that he wasn't killed.

"Welp, bad guys taken care of, (hey!), I meant the OTHER bad guys! everyone is safe and sound, SHEILA! HAVE A FUN HONEYMOON, DON'T TELL ME WHAT YOU DO ON OUR COFFEE TIME, BUT JUST TELL ME IF YOU HAVE FUN!" With the woman waving in agreement, "As for me, I'll see you guys back at the compound, laters!" With that he quickly took off, using the flying function on his bike to take off, with Vespertina on his back, having dropped the rifle to the ground and was now facing forward, which allowed her to hug Naruto from behind, though it wasn't long before she snuck her hands down the front of Naruto wanting to "hold on" to him for safety.

Though luckily having just missed Orpheus reappearing with a knocked out Dean, with Sheila explaining that she simply had coffee chats with Naruto, with nothing happening between them but polite conversations that she can't get from her "villain work" which, after hearing her explanation, the Monarch had decided to let it go and let her keep her coffee chats, since he knew better than to question his wife about such things.

As for Naruto, he was spending a few days with Vespertina in a hotel, where afterwards, he left her with a note stating how much fun he had with her and hope for a less chaotic time in the future, while leaving her $1000 to get herself something nice, seeing as he made sure she wouldn't be walking for the next few days.

There you have it, the confrontation between The Monarch and Phantom Limb, but with obvious differences, with Naruto showing off his flying function on his bike, and having fun at the end with Vespertina.

I hope everyone enjoyed this quick chapter, since there was a lot of gun fighting and other character scenes, which is why it's so short.
