The Brother and the Fathers

Draco cleared his throat, he looked at Rodolphus, "Was Aunt Bella my father's lover?"

"Hardly, I am not perfect, and have done my share of bad things, many forced on me. But I don't poach, neither looked for other witches. Your father is like me. So I believe your father, the Black sisters played twisted games. Had I known, I would have killed Bellatrix. She said she was afraid I would blame her for being barren and kill her , that was what your mother told me; it was a lie. I would have killed her, true, but not for that. I would have because of what she did to my child. I think the truth is different, I believe she was afraid that Snake would want my child as his bride, and Bella only loved him." Rodolphus moved closer to Hermione.

"My dear child, I can see, the truth is that we have been toys played by two nasty witches. Come with me, you will not be safe around Draco. You know why I tortured you? She said that she would make sure my someone rapes my brother again. He is not well; he is a shadow, lost the will to live. Bella was clever, made me wear gloves, saying not to touch a Mudblood. Had I touched you, I'd have known." Rodolphus kept his eyes on Hermione.

"Raped uncle Rabastan?" Draco asked, "how?" Draco looked ill.

Yes, raped by nasty wizards; it broke him," Rodolphus hands clenched, more than once. She also…sorry my dear." He stopped seeing Hermione's distress.

"I know, I heard about it." Hermione didn't tell him the truth; she had seen the rape. It was awful. Narcissa stood behind smiling.

Everyone was quiet.

'So, Draco the answer is no, both Lucius and I are loyal. We grew together, as brothers, and competed for a Black sister, and it wasn't neither your mother nor Bella. We had joked that we could share her. Not really joking; we wanted to do so, and made the mistake to talk about it in front of Bella and Narcissa. I still do, I mean love Andy and wish to be with her. What your father said must be true; I believe him." He looked at Lucius.

Draco slumped. He decided to come clean, hoping Rodolphus would take her away. "Dad, mother asked me to follow you. She said she needed to talk to you, and you wouldn't see her. I Floo and told her where you had gone. I knew she meant to harm Mud, sorry, her. It wont happen again."

"No, it won't because I will be merciless," Rodolphus growled. Lucius, we can either make a big scandal, or we can share our daughter. Her children will unite the houses, think. I don't want her to suffer. As for Draco, if anything happens to her because of him, I will hold you responsible. Though I think we should tell the truth to others, as scandalous as it will be, the truth is always better. Otherwise we are open to blackmail." Rodolphus said.

Hermione cried, "No, don't do it; don't want people to know she was my mother and threw me right after I was born, naked, inside a rubbish bin."

Draco was still in denial, not believing his mother would do such a terrible thing . Another thought occurred him, what if he was a Lestrange, no, not possible, there were things he could do, rooms he could enter at the Manor because his blood.

"It wasn't your fault," Draco told her. "Maybe my uncle is right, you were the victim, my Godfather says your best weapon against your enemies is the truth." It was strange, a feeling of kinship was growing, and he wondered how could this be. The idea of someone hurting her was bothering him. He thought he might kill whoever hurt her, even if it was his mother.

Hermione thought for a minute, Narcissa might want to tell someone like Skeeter. She saw Draco with different eyes, she remembered how sad she felt for him when he was hiding. He was bitter, true, but it would seem there was hope.

Lucius looked at her, it was her decision, but he suspected the Lestrange would never give up. It was true they had been like brothers until the two baddies set their claws on them. The idea that his child was the heir to two fortunes appealed to him. But he was only willing to go so far. His love for her was unconditional, he had never touched her before, it was Malfoy Magic. His heart ached remembering all that he had allowed to happen to her. Regardless, he would set his conditions.

"I want her here; her life is here not in France." Lucius demanded.

"We have a home here, but in deference to my parents, she could see us part of the year. You know we have passages, it would be quite easy, she could move at ease, it is but 10 minutes. She could come for tea, spend the day, and such." Rodolphus proposed.

"Passages? 10 minutes to France? Nah." Draco grinned.

"It is like a Port key, but better, between us, and the other properties we own, which allowed the sisters' game," Lucius grimaced. "The passages were made hundreds of years ago, a secret of a few families. We were not the only ones. You had not been told because you are not old enough, but, now, you know. They are still used, but the byways can only be used by one belonging to the families, by blood or by marriage as well."

Rodolphus made a scary sound, both dark wizards were at a boil point, knowing they had been played for years. The idea made them feel used. And it would seem they had a strict loyalty code.

Hermione was not sure, she didn't trust Rodolphus, but no, she changed her mind. His eyes were caring looking at her. As for Lucius, she still held his hand. A strong hand, cool and firm, it calmed her. She sat stuck to him. Particularly after Rodolphus sat next to her. Looking at him, he was also the prettiest of them all. The sisters had good taste.

"And my parents? I love them; they have been good to me." Hermione wanted assurance that her parents would be close to her.

Rodolphus answered without hesitation, "I hold them in the highest esteem. I accept there are good and bad Muggles, and I know you would never accept me if I were who I used to be." He smiled. Hermione was shocked, he was honest. "I want them to tell me everything since day one, perhaps meet my parents. Maybe they can share the memories of your childhood and save them on vials to be seen on the pensive. We also have one. The more I know, the more I want to do something to Narcissa."

She looked at Lucius who raised his hands, "Your call my dear, and Draco, you are already the oldest Black male, yours is the house of Black, and a great part of the Malfoy estate. You have the right to live at the Manor, it has happened many times. And last but not least, you are my beloved son."

Draco was quiet.

"I don't know," Hermione's eyes filled with tears, again, "my mother tortured me and threw me in a rubbish bin, people will know, it hurts."

Both wizards held her hands, Rodolphus opened his arms, and she let him hold her. He shook, anger or joy, who knew. Then Lucius held her and kissed her cheeks. Both wizards smiled, happily. Hermione found it strange.

Draco stayed back, wondering what if it had been him.

"But why did she trick Rodolphus if I had his blood? She could have Color-vario me." Hermione wondered.

"I have the answer," Lucius reasoned, "Rodolphus said it, the Dark Lord had already said the first female from either Rodolphus, or I would be his wife, but he wanted a Malfoy. Bella couldn't share her beloved. So, my dear, what do you want?"

"But how are we explaining I have two fathers?" Hermione asked.

Even Draco knew the answer, "Family magic, in neither house there cannot be more than one outside witch. If there are two brothers, they would share the witch, and the child would have some of both. More of the first to impregnate her, and there would be no rivalry between wives. A special charm is used, which many consider dark magic. Sisters usually married and went with their husbands. We can say something like that happened, because of Bella's motives. Nobody has to know all the details, all we need is the Wizengamot send Aurors to check the passages."

"I agree, great thinking. You are not at fault, neither are we. Thus, Bella and Narcissa will have to be unveiled, otherwise we could be in trouble. Draco if you see your mother, tell her to stay far away. When the divorce is final she will be taken care off. I will not bring her to the MoM, unless she doesn't stay gone." Lucius looked at his son.

Rodolphus intervened, "Don't speak up for me, I will consult with my parents. I want Narcissa punished. What they did is beyond objectionable, abandoning a magical newborn baby in a rubbish bin. I don't know how they look, but I will go and see one."

Lucius pointed at Draco, "Talk to her, but you will not go alone; Drexel will go with you, from now on, if you meet alone with her, you will go away. I will not have one of my children conspire to kill the other; it would be a first"

"So?" Rodolphus asked Lucius. "Do whatever but keep me informed. And my dear, will you come with Lucius in a few hours, after Narcissa clears? My mother cannot travel well, Bella's doing." His face seemed made of stone, "I don't want to elaborate. I believe you will be surprised when you meet my mother. I was tricked by your coloring, I was a fool. Rabastan said it more than once wondering if you were related to us. I wish I had listened, Bella did. She called him an idiot, hating him because he disliked her so much."

Lucius pointed a wand, revealing Hermione's eye color and the dark wine strands.

"Thanks, even prettier," Rodolphus said, and sat next to her and kissed her cheek. "Will you come my dear child? You would make us all very happy."

Hermione shrugged her shoulders, "Yes, why not?"

Rodolphus grinned and caressed her cheek, "You are perfection, my dear. I feel different, hopeful, and just good."

Hermione also felt connected to him, how much had she changed in hours.

After he was gone, Lucius's dogs came in to greet Hermione. They whined, wanting to sit on the couch, on top of her. Draco was guffawing, "Keep them down, you are tiny, and they will squash you." Lucius also chuckle agreeing.

It was true, but they were quite large. She obliged and petted them. Then Lucius took her hand. "Let us go to your rooms; your things should be there. We can eat in a little while."

"So soon here?" She was surprised.

"Magic," he whispered and chuckled. The dogs fought to walk next to Hermione making her giggle, they were huge.

The day had vastly improved, and was even nicer the portraits greeted her, "Everyone, a witch, a Malfoy."

She grinned and greeted them, every portrait did the same. "The portraits of my parents, and many others before, are special; a Necromancer painted them. So, occasionally we talk to one of them." Lucius explained.

He stood by one. The wizard looked a lot like him.

"Who is this young beauty?" The portrait asked.

"Father, it is my daughter." Lucius explained.

"A daughter? I didn't know. Tell me later, what is your name darling?" He asked.

"Hermione!" She smiled.

"A witch, so very pretty. Come back soon; if you come around this time, I'll be here. Son, take care of her. Witches are the most precious. Remember my sister, poisoned like your brother. We have many enemies; and keep her at home as long as you can, we want to see her. Please be watchful." He looked worried.

As they walked away, Lucius' eyes were bright with tears, "That was my father. He was here," he squeezed her hand.

The word spread, Hermione filled with a strange emotion, of belonging. "A witch—a beauty— she is ours—"

"Let's get ready, after I show you around and eat something little. I expect the Lestrange will have more food than we can eat." Lucius told her.

When she saw her rooms, she couldn't get over; they were as big as a house; the walls were covered with book shelves. The furniture was exquisite. "I did not have enough time to make the room as I wished. We can decorate it together. I must confess, I wished for a daughter, Malfoy witches are powerful, we had a couple of enchantresses. We can fill the bookshelves together. I do have a small gift, on the bed." Lucius said .

She opened the box, a key.

"The key your vault, we will go later. We need to go and get some appropriate jewels for you, my dear. My mother was petite like you, so we should look at her robes. They are exquisite, they were on her family for centuries, made with rare silks, encrusted with gems and more. Narcissa wanted them, and to alter them, but my mother made me promise not to give them to her." Lucius looked sad, wanting to say something else.

Remus the Heir

Meanwhile Remus was at the Greyback fortress, distressed to see the place. It made Malfoy Manor look shabby, a palace out of a story book.

"Why the werewolf if you have this? And why let me go hungry?" Remus was upset.

"I was out of it until a few days before the battle. When your mother came." Fenrir explained. He had taken Teddy out the perambulator and was carrying him.

He saw his mother, she was younger than him just like Fenrir. "Mom, you look younger than me. You look wonderful." His mother grinned.

Fenrir chuckled, "When did you look at the mirror last, you look like you are maybe twenty or so."

His mother took Teddy from Fenrir. She held Teddy, "My grandson," she said kissing Teddy.

"And mine," Fenrir say kissing him. "Let me hold him, too many steps." Remus grinned, seeing the tug of war for Teddy.

As they walked pass the fierce warriors, standing on guard, bowed, many grinned when they saw Teddy. They admired his blue hair, imagining a blue pup. Remus heard them, "Imagine a blue pup, our tiny prince, I cannot wait to see him."

Fenrir said, "Let us go and have you meet my father. I hope, never mind." He smiled wistfully.

"I think Teddy needs a mother," Remus said, wanting to tell them about Hermione.

Moony interjected, tell him we need a wife, a mate. Remus rolled his eyes, the evil wolf didn't want to mourn Dora.

"I know," Fenrir said.

"We will help you raise him," both Fenrir and his mom said.

"Son, do you have someone in mind. Do tell." Fenrir said.

Remus decided to tell the truth. "Yes I do, but maybe not possible."

"Why is that? You are wealthy and in reality, you are a prince. You will learn, we come from the blue world. We will talk later." Fenrir looked puzzled.

"She is Lucius' child, and you know him." Remus looked hopeless. Now he had money, but he was a wolf.

A/n I will continue the story as I republished the hacked stories. I will as long as there is interest. No one reviews and I have no idea if the story is liked or not be well.
