First off…welcome to 2025! And belated happy Valentine's day!

My apologies for the late update. In what was supposed to be a monthly update turned into a three-month hiatus as I got entangled in office work whilst having some situations with my personal life, hence I got delayed in working on my fanfics given that I am juggling in working of 20 fanfics of different series.

But now things have stabilized and here is the new chapter.

With that out of the way…many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter, which the current story arc is ongoing, and here the Bishamon arc is about to reach its conclusion…and this would answer the question on whether Midoriya has the means or the answer in defeating the Darkstalker that is possessing Muscular…

Ch. 19: Samurai no noroi part 4

At the Metropolitan Police Department, located within Musutafu…

All Might, Tsukauchi and Tsuragamae were watching the secret live footage of what is happening inside the auction building where they witnessed what is happening inside, including Muscular getting possessed by the samurai armor and sword, and there All Might is in disbelief at witnessing such a possession and seeing how Bishamon killed the several businessmen by ABSORBING their life forces and in turn the businessmen involved in the underground auction turned into shriveled, dried corpses, making it look like a scene from a supernatural HORROR movie, and Tsukauchi was also at loss as he gets to see a SUPERNATURAL SITUATION, which Sansa also expressing shock at seeing this as well.

"No way…"

"This can't be…"

"Unbelievable .."

"I never thought I'd see something like this…"

"Me neither…"

"And that wasn't a Quirk activity…"

"Then that was a supernatural activity…?"

"Looks like it…"

"No doubt about it…"

Tsuragamae watched the live scene carefully with consideration and came to the conclusion that he would have to send some men to the auction building to assist the pro hero and the UA students there as he felt that the situation might not be able to contain properly, which Tsukauchi and All Might asked if he is sure about this, yet the police chief said that there is no alternative as the raiding pro heroes and the interns are facing a difficult situation there.

"Chief Tsuragamae…"

"Are you sure…?"

"Yes. This is the best call I could make."

"…"

"The situation has to be contained. And we can't have it spread to the city "

"I…see."

"He may be right."

"There's no other alternative."

While All Might was unsure, he reluctantly relented as he is worried for Midoriya's safety, and Tsukauchi also relented as he feared if the possessed Muscular escape the auction building and go on a rampage it would cause numerous casualties to rise in unprecedented levels, and there Tsuragamae told the called ordered every available personnel to head towards the auction building and contain the situation, which the police personnel members nodded in acknowledgement.

"Yes sir!"

Meanwhile, the scene shifts back inside the auction building, where you can see that Midoriya is standing still as he was somewhat frozen in shock at what he just witnessed, as several orb-like energies are loitering around, going after the terrified wealthy businessmen as the orb-like energies are LEECHING the victims' life force and sent it to Bishamon which further empowered him.

He saw the businessmen slump to the floor, all turned into dried shriveled corpses that made Midoriya feel like watching a SUPERNATURAL HORROR MOVIE, and there he was snapped out of his shock as one of the Wild Wild Pussycats members use her Quirk and produced a barrier made of soil, which blocked the orb-like energies and there Mandalay told the remaining businessmen to head for the exit, which they nodded in acknowledgement.

"Yes, ma'am!"

Meanwhile, Hawks and Yoroi Musha confronted Bishamon and drew their weapons as they carefully approached the supernatural samurai, knowing that they are facing someone who is different from Quirk-based villains and that they are facing something that is SUPERNATURAL in nature after seeing how Bishamon killed the victims without shedding blood.

And given the fact that the samurai armor POSSESSED Muscular and turned him into a supernatural samurai, the two pro heroes came to a decision to kill the possessed Muscular given the gravity of the situation.

"Musha…we may have to go all-out."

"I reluctantly agree."

"This guy is beyond restraining and beyond saving."

"Not to mention he has become…a SUPERNATURAL."

"Since we're on duty…and the gravity of the situation…we'll have to do this as a means of self-defense."

"Right."

"So let's do this."

"Okay."

However, Bishamon told the two pro heroes to leave as he only has business with Midoriya, and as Hawks asked what does Bishamon want with Midoriya, the supernatural samurai grinned as he said that Midoriya owe him payback for SPOILING HIS FUN during the forest training camp raid with the League Of Villains.

"That's your reason?"

"Yeah…nothing more, nothing less…"

"Sounds very petty to me…"

"Not for me. And I want to HAVE FUN with that boy now I got the power to match his Quirk…"

"Don't you have anything else to do?"

"No…except killing Midoriya in cold blood."

"Then you'll have to get past us."

"Goodie…you might provide some entertainment…"

At the other side of the soil-like barrier, Midoriya's three classmates, Yuga Aoyama, Mina Ashido and Toru Hagakure discarded their disguises and joined Midoriya and asked him what should they do, which Midoriya reluctantly told his three classmates to evacuate as he deduced that stopping the supernatural samurai is beyond their capacity given how he kills his prey by just sucking out their life forces.

Aoyama, Ashido and Hagakure were unwilling to leave Midoriya behind but the latter said that at least he could lure the possessed Muscular away from here and head somewhere with no people yet the trio reiterated that they are not going to leave him behind and get himself killed by sacrificing himself selfishly.

"No way, Midoriya!"

"We can't leave you!"

"And we're going to help!"

"But…"

"We're classmates! And friends!"

"And friends stick together!"

"So we work things out and stop the villain whether possessed by a supernatural or not!"

"…"

Suddenly the soil-like barrier was slashed and that both Hawks and Yoroi Musha were thrown back and the four Class 1-A members stared wide-eyed as they saw the two pro heroes laying on the floor and suffered severe injuries due to being slashed by Bishamon, and there the supernatural samurai pointed his sword at Midoriya and goaded him to accept the challenge.

"Hey, Midoriya…let's get this show on the road…"

"Are you really obsessed in killing me, Muscular?!"

"Of course…it's my way of life…and my favorite hobby."

"Fine. I'll take you on!"

"Alright!"

"Brace yourself, you murderer…!"

"Hah! Make sure you give me a good show!"

"Then brace yourself!"

Felicia rushes through and stood in front of Midoriya, intending to protect him as she is bracing herself as she is about to face a rather grave challenge as a pro hero, seeing that Bishamon is not a pushover and how dangerous he can be up close. She then saw Hawks and Yoroi Musha sprawled on the floor, gravely injured and bleeding heavily as well as seeing the dangerous sword slash wounds on their chests.

Felicia then whispered to Midoriya and told him that she would distract Muscular as long as she could and that once an opening is found Midoriya would have to disarm Muscular and then aim for his face and then remove the helmet before landing a powerful blow that would knock Muscular unconscious, which Midoriya nodded in agreement, seeing that there's no other alternative at the moment.

"…and that's the plan…"

"Okay…"

"We'll do this precisely as we won't get a second chance."

"Understood."

"So I'll get his attention and see if you could Dona sneak attack."

"Okay."

"Alright. Let's do this."

"Got it."

Aoyama and Ashido whispered to Felicia and said that they also wanted to help, and Felicia reluctantly relented and told the two what they should do, and the two Class 1-A members nodded in agreement and said that they would stick to the plan so that Midoriya would land the decisive blow to stop Muscular.

"Can I trust you on this…?"

"Yeah."

"Then stick to the plan and we might win."

"Okay."

"Good. Let's move."

"Right."

With that, Ashido and Aoyama uses their Quirks and began to distract the possessed Muscular, but using Bishamon's powers he started to levitate and prepare to use the two orb-like entities to absorb the life forces of the two UA students but Felicia did a mid-air rolling attack which somewhat distracted Bishamon, and there Midoriya uses a Smash with 45% output and the blow was quite sufficient to rattle the possessed samurai.

Aoyama did a full-charge navel laser blast which struck the hand of Bishamon, causing him to lose his grip on the samurai sword, and there Midoriya went into action and uses Blackwhip to bind the possessed Muscular, which Midoriya managed to hold him down, and there Mandalay telepathically told Aoyama and Ashido to THROW EVERYTHING THEY GOT at the possessed Muscular.

"Pinky! Can't Stop Twinkling! Go for it!"

"Okay!"

"Go full blast!"

"Okay!"

"Don't stop till he drops!"

"Got it!"

As Ashido and Aoyama unleash their Quirk attack on their target, the samurai-armored Muscular was initially stunned but he grinned as he somewhat enjoyed it as he felt that it would be one-sided if his opponents wouldn't pose any challenge, and seeing that the two UA students were putting up a good fight, he is pleased and decided to REPAY them.

He broke free from the Blackwhip and quickly grabbed the sword and stabbed Aoyama on his navel, causing the UA student to scream in pain as he was stabbed quite deep, causing Ashido and Midoriya to stare wide-eyed in horror at seeing their classmate getting harmed by the bloodthirsty Muscular.

"AAAAAAIIIIIEEEE!"

"Aoyama!"

"I've been stabbed!"

"Oh no! Aoyama!"

"Hang in there!"

"We got to get him out of here, Midoriya!"

"Blast it…!"

Midoriya was shocked by this and went forward, delivering a STRONG SMASH at 80% output and the blow was sufficient enough to send Muscular careening backwards, but because of the Bishamon armor he was able to cushion the blow, and there the Bishamon-powered Muscular grabbed Midoriya, and there the two spirit-like orbs went behind the One For All user and touched him, and there Midoriya screamed aloud in painful agony.

This is because Muscular, using the Bishamon armor's spiritual powers, began to suckle out Midoriya's life force and is starting to drain away the younger boy as the latter screamed out in pain while Muscular is starting to relish at this malevolent feeling.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha!"

"AAAAAAAAARGGGGHHHH!"

"I finally beaten you!"

"AAAAAAAAARGGGGHHHH!"

"Now I'm satisfied!"

"AAAAAAAAARGGGGHHHH!"

"And I'm going to suck you dry!"

"AAAAAAAAARGGGGHHHH!"

Suddenly something unexpected took place, where a flying object appeared to be flying and struck Bishamon on his face, slicing him, and to his surprise, Bishamon felt a very sharp pain which caused him to release his hold on Midoriya, and the flying object went towards Bishamon and struck him again, causing him to back away as Felicia and Ashido went and check on Midoriya, who is clutching his chest in pain while having difficulty in breathing.

"Midoriya!"

"…"

"Are you okay?"

"Hang in there!"

"…"

"Everything will be okay!"

"Stay with us!"

"…"

The other Wild Wild Pussycats members were applying first aid treatment on the wounded Aoyama, and there they saw what the flying object is, in which it appeared to resemble a broadsword with a 'mouth' near the edge. It appears to have eyes and is known to emit an aura on its own. There the broadsword seemed to primarily levitates behind a man that just arrived at the scene of the battle.

The man appeared to be of foreign descent, sporting a long hair that is tied in a braided ponytail; his body bordering between slim and muscular; his attire consists of what looked like an upper tights-like long-sleeve shirt which covered only the left portion of his body; he wears what looked like a long skirt that only cover the right portion of his legs; then wearing a huge beads that is wrapped diagonally on his chest.

The man appeared to be 6'4 in height and his body's built appeared to be slim-looking though it had some muscles and he is only wearing sandals. The man is identified as Donovan Baine, and there he glared at the samurai-armored entity that is possessing Muscular's body, and the latter is pissed off at Donovan Baine for his interference.

"Damn you!"

"…"

"Who the FUCK are you?"

"…"

"Why did you interfere in my fun?"

"…"

"You'll pay big time!"

"…"

As the samurai-armored Muscular lunges forward, Donovan raised a hand and there Muscular was telekinetically halted and then Donovan's broadsword levitated and head towards the possessed samurai and did several sword strikes before striking Muscular's face, and there something unexpected took place, in which the samurai armor glowed brightly before Muscular was VIOLENTLY ejected from the samurai armor.

As Muscular struggled to get up and reach for the samurai armor Donovan smacked him hard on the head and the villain was knocked out, and there Donovan took out a huge sack and puts the samurai armor and sword inside the sack before proceeding to walk away, though Felicia asked who is he and how was he able to force Muscular out of the armor, only to be told that he cannot give a definite answer as he himself is also a SUPERNATURAL.

"Wait…who are you? How were you able to…"

"I cannot answer that for now."

"Huh? Why?"

"I'm just like you."

"Eh?"

"For we are the same. A Darkstalker."

"What…what do you mean by that?"

"You'll eventually find the answer."

By then the rest of the raiding pro heroes and interns came and saw what was happening inside, and there they saw Donovan walking past them in a silent manner before Mandalay urged the others to call for ambulances, and several minutes later medics and police arrived, where several criminal clients in the auction were rounded up whilst the other pro heroes were searching for Chisaki and the three League Of Villains members, as the latter four have already snuck out of sight when Donovan appeared.

Hawks, Yoroi Musha, Aoyama and Midoriya were taken to Central Hospital where they underwent medical treatment and thankfully they would recover in due time as the doctors await Recovery Girl's arrival.

Hope you liked this chapter, as the current story arc is filled with tension as Bishamon, who is currently possessing Muscular's body, is having an night killing several businessmen and now Midoriya is forced to face him even as his three Class 1-A classmates are willing to stand by Midoriya…

Midoriya and Aoyama were the only UA students to get injured after the Muscular-possessing Bishamon harmed them as he is attempting to drain Midoriya's life force due to Muscular wanting to kill Midoriya.

Thankfully an unexpected help came, which turns out to be another Darkstalker, who turn out to be Donovan, and there he was able to force Muscular out of Bishamon's armor before taking the armor away…
