BGM: Zora's Domain (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom)

"What the heck happened here?" Yang asked.

"After the Upheaval, our domain has been polluted by this toxic sludge that appeared seemingly out of nowhere." Yona explained. "It's been slowly killing us. What you see here are the ones who are on life support. The others…" She paused, not wanting to finish her sentence.

Weiss's eyes widened. "How many?"

"Too many to count. If we don't do something soon, our very livelihood in Hyrule may soon go extinct."

Weiss clenched her fists. "Where's Sidon?"

"Up at Mipha's Court. He and Neptune are doing everything they can to put a stop to this, but they're nearly exhausting themselves."

"Then we'll give them a boost." Weiss said.

"Please do. The sludge had made its way over in town."

"Wait, what do you mean-"

They heard growling as they turned around to see Zwei snarling at some sludge that was moving toward them, and before anyone could say anything, the sludge suddenly started rising and created sludge-like Grimm.

Mud dripped down off of their sludge brown-like bodies with their eyes being a sinister black color with crystalized bones sticking out of the goopy mess.

BGM: Under Siege (Hyrule Warriors)

"Grimm born out of sludge?!" Impa said in surprise as Weiss immediately jumped in, bringing out her Biggoron Sword and cut through them, but as she did, some sludge splashed up and hit Weiss in the cheek.

"Agh!" Weiss yelped, using water magic to get it off of her to reveal a light burn mark. "Don't let the sludge touch you! It's acidic!"

"Acidic?!" Winter said in shock as more sludge Grimm approached, forming in the shape of Beowolves as Weiss quickly pushed them back with a torrent of water, where Impa quickly made some clones as they quickly threw down some kunai where they exploded upon contact, sending the sludge flying everywhere and making a path for them.

"You guys go get Sidon! I'll hold them off!" Yona said, water forming in her hands. "They're up at the peak!"

"You got it!" Weiss nodded as they ran off as both Schnees launched magic at the sludge monsters that tried to get after them.

As they ran up toward Mipha Court, several Lizalfos with Shock Arrows aimed at them, but suddenly the sludge overtook them and covered the Lizalfos, resulting in them screeching in agony and melting them to the point that not even their bones remained.

"Where's Vah Ruta when you need her?!" Weiss wondered as Terrako and Penny fired a few lasers to explode the acidically sludged Grimm as some sludge tore away trees and made them fall, but Yang jumped in and punched the trees to reduce them to splinters to clear the path.

"There's too many of them. We need more water!" Penny said.

"Working on it!" Winter sent a torrent of water their way, where up ahead a Silver Lynel came charging at them.

"That's all we need!" Raven growled, but surprisingly, the Lynel leaped over them and landed behind them, pulling out a blade as he faced the sludge head on. He let out a roar toward them, basically telling them to "Go".

With a nod, they kept running as the Lynel swung his blade at the never ending sludge as it formed into mud-like Grimm where they surrounded the beast. The Lynel let out a roar and slammed its blade to the ground, creating an explosion that blasted away the sludge, but more kept coming and quickly overwhelmed the Lynel.

However, he grabbed the sludge, not caring that it was acidic as he slammed it to the ground and breathed fire to dispose of it, but it would soon prove to be in vain as it dogpiled on the Lynel, starting to melt him as he tried his best to fight it off until the acid proved to be too much.

With the heroes, they quickly made it to Mipha Court where Sidon and Neptune were using their water magic to desperate push the sludge back that was raining down like a waterfall.

"Ah, hello everyone…!" Sidon said as he spotted them. "We're a little busy…"

"Why isn't Vah Ruta taking care of things?" Weiss asked.

"Apparently Ruta's been shut down. Next thing we knew, sludge started coming out of nowhere and started poisoning everyone!" Neptune said. "Dorephan's in his hideout resting from his acid burns, but he's not doing so hot…"

"Where's Ruta?" Weiss asked.

"Just down in the reservoir where she was bathing before things went south-"

Weiss immediately sprang into action, running off toward the peak with Winter right next to her.

"We have things under control… I think!" Sidon exclaimed.

"Go on ahead, we'll keep it busy!" Neptune told them as with a nod, they ran after the sisters.

Weiss ran past Mipha's statue, giving a nod of respect toward her before she made it to the edge, seeing Vah Ruta in the reservoir and covered in sludge.

Weiss took a step back, taking a deep breath as she turned to Winter. "You ready?"

"Ready when you are."

With a nod, Weiss got in a stance and ran off as she jumped into the air and dove toward Vah Ruta with Winter behind her. Weiss immediately activated Farore's Wind, her dragon wings popping out as she flew toward the top of Vah Ruta and going inside of her with Winter creating an ice slide for the others to slide on in.

Weiss gracefully landed inside and ran toward the control panel, washing away any muck that was in her path until she ran down the stairs.

Suddenly, before Winter could join in, a wall of muck rose up between them. "No!" Winter unleashed a torrent of water that didn't make the wall budge. With a deep growl, she ran outside and quickly made glyphs to go around.

A giant glob of muck fell from the ceiling as Weiss immediately pulled out Crescent Rose, pumping it as a creature emerged from the muck.

Mucktorok.

It let out a screech and manipulated the muck to make it bigger as it proceeded to grow into the size of a muck-covered Hinox.

BGM: Boss Battle (Hyrule Warriors)

Weiss aimed Crescent Rose at the eye, aiming carefully and firing. However, a muck shield protected the eye as Mucktorok slammed his fist down at Weiss. She quickly put up a Nayru's Love to block the attack and then cut through the arm to slice it off.

However, as soon as she cut it off, the muck that landed on the ground rose up and wrapped around Weiss by the neck, pulling her to the ground.

"Hnnngh!" She gagged, trying her best to pry it off while her skin singed from the acidic touch. Mucktorok raised his fist to try and pound her into oblivion, but as he swung down, a glyph appeared above Weiss to block the attack and then a wave of water slammed into Weiss to rid of the muck.

Mucktorok turned, only to get sprayed by water courtesy of Winter as Weiss got up, coughing a few times before letting out a growl as she clapped her hands to create a blizzard to freeze Mucktorok solid, then Yang jumped in and delivered a mighty punch to shatter the mucky Hinox.

However, Mucktorok wasn't finished as he created fresh muck and proceeded to transform again, this time into a Lynel as it let out a demonic screech and charged ahead, but Weiss brought out her shield and parried him as she jumped back and fired a flurry of ice arrows into its head.

The Lynel punched the ground, creating a wave of sludge that headed straight for the Schnees but they both fought back with water to create openings and then combined their torrents of water together and swung it to slice through the Lynel's head to make it fall to the ground.

The Lynel then melted to the ground as the others swooped in as the muck proceeded to split into many piles before forming into a swarm of Keese, proceeding to dive bomb everyone as they quickly dove out of the way, though a few of them got grazed by them.

Weiss quickly aimed and fired at several Muck Geese, shooting them down as Penny and Terrako helped her out.

Raven got in a stance and slashed through all of them while Yang did a roundhouse kick to kick away some muck.

Winter snapped her fingers as lightning bolts rained down and struck the Mucked monsters as they formed back into one big pile of muck as Mucktorok reformed, proceeding to then transform into a shark and charged at them.

"Whoa!" Yang rolled out of the way as Mucktorok attempted to slap Zwei and Revali with his tail, but the both of them quickly out maneuvered him as Terrako aimed and fired, shooting Mucktorok out of the shark transformation and slammed into a wall where Weiss pumped Crescent Rose and peppered him repeatedly by pulling the trigger.

Mucktorok screeched as he formed giant muck wings and then flew out of Vah Ruta, heading back to where Sidon and Neptune were at.

As he flew past the duo, he proceeded to raise his arms up to create a giant ball of muck.

"If he keeps that up, he'll cover the entire domain with that sludge!" Penny exclaimed

Weiss immediately ran over to the pedestal and put her Purah Pad down on it.

"Come on, wake up, wake up…"

Suddenly, the lights turned blue as Vah Ruta bellowed once more. Weiss immediately flew up and landed on top of Ruta's head.

"Alright, girl. Aim your trunk at that little creep!"

Vah Ruta aimed her trunk directly at Mucktorok and proceeded to shoot out water, and together with Weiss's help, the volume was increased as Mucktorok threw down the giant muck ball toward them, but the torrent of water pushed it back.

A bead of sweat rolled down Weiss' forehead as the muck slowly pushed the water back.

"It's not enough…" Weiss whispered as she closed her eyes. "I'm sorry…"

Immediately, Vah Ruta bellowed loudly as the water pressure increased as Weiss opened her eyes, turning her head to see Winter adding her own power to it, and on her other side, Sidon had come over to help put.

"We got this!" Sidon smiled, giving a flashy toothy grin as a water ring surrounded Ruta's trunk before the water turned into a full blown water laser, cutting through the muck ball and struck Mucktorok, sending him flying straight for the floating islands above.

"Phew…" Weiss sighed in relief as Winter put a comforting hand on her back with a soft smile.

"Let's clean this place up!" Sidon exclaimed as Ruta aimed her trunk up and shot water into the air, causing it to rain all over Zora's Domain, washing away the muck, including washing away the muck all over Ruta.

Up above, Neptune had his weapon out and faced a Sludge Like, but the rain was enough to wash the sludge off and reduced it to a regular Like Like. With a smirk, Neptune proceeded to wail into it until it melted away to nothing.

"It may take a little longer for the water to be cleansed, but we should be safe for now " Sidon said. "However, I feel like we should visit our little friend and get rid of him before he comes back and makes even more of a mess."

"Right." Weiss nodded.

"By the way, Weiss. I'm curious. You seem a bit out of it, not to mention your arm has seen better days. Something troubling you?"

Weiss sighed. "You don't know the half of it."

"Well, I don't mean to pry, but perhaps if you're willing to-"

Suddenly, they started to hear a voice.

"Come to the Water Temple. Salem's minion must be dealt with, my brave Zora."

"...Salem, you say?" Sidon hummed. "Now who might that be?"

"The worst woman to ever exist…" Weiss responded.

"Oh? How bad is she?"

"We'll tell you back in town. We need to check on the others." Winter said.

"Right. Absolutely! My darling fiancee and my people are in peril!"

Sidon pointed his trident toward the Fountain.

"Onward!"

I'm legit surprised that we're getting a Switch 1 Direct tomorrow since the Switch 2 Direct is next week. This ought be fun.
