Chapter 60 – What dragons do in the dark
Somewhere on Melemele Island – the Alola Region….
While the nights in Alola were cooler than the days, they were still extremely muggy. The only relief was when the cool sea breeze would blow, refreshing the skin beneath the fur. On nights like these, Hunter preferred to sleep outside of the tent, away from his parents. Lying on his back and staring up at the stars.
Although Cameron and Lucario were only a few feet away in their tent, Hunter still felt…alone. There was a small empty space in his heart, that made itself felt most often at night.
He knew it reflected the fact that, when they'd been travelling together, he and Ashachu had used to sleep together. Now they were apart, Hunter mostly slept alone. Although Growlithe really liked to play with him during the day, he refused to sleep in the same bed as him, usually opting for his Pokéball… And so, Hunter was by himself.
Earlier that die, when he had thought he had been about to die at the jaws of Drampa, he had felt it. That deep longing in his heart for his once best friend. He couldn't deny it to himself. He still had feelings for Ashachu. In his heart, he was still in love with him… Even after everything Ashachu had done.
"Oh, why Ashachu," he asked the universe. "Why did you have to do it. We were so happy together. What was so important about that Sneasel. About Team Rocket. That you would wreck everything we had."
The fondness in his heart quickly turned to anger again. The images of Ashachu and Blade together, or Ashachu painted black, Ashachu beside Team Rocket on that dreaded machine. And of course, when it seemed Ashachu was going to do that to Geyser. To…He sighed.
"How can this be so hard," he wondered. "Even after everything you did, I still love you. I want for things to go back to the way they were. But whenever I think of you. I just get angry. It's so confusing."
He sniffed, and felt a single tear escape his eye and soak into his fur. It was warm against his cheek.
"And maybe it's my fault too. I shouldn't have pushed you out of my life. I should have tried to be more understanding. Tried to work through our issues. Dad said we needed a break but…Now that I've had one. Now that you're not here. I-I really miss you."
He was surprised at just how much his train of thought had opened the wound in his heart. His tears flowed freely now, falling diagonally down his cheek on onto his jaw. He tasted their saltiness as he licked them off with his tongue.
"How could I have let Ashachu just walk away. After everything we shared together. He was my soulmate. And I let one incident ruin it. I know what he did was wrong. And hurtful. But…I shouldn't have pushed him away. Oh Ashachu. Will we ever be together again? There's so many things I need to say to you."
Hunter's eyes were now so full of tears, that the stars and sky above him and started to shimmer. He raised a paw to brush them away, before taking a deep breath. "And after I stop feeling sad, I know I'll just feel angry about everything again. I can't just keep bottling this up, I need to talk to someone about it. I'll talk to dad tomorrow. For now, though."
He got to his paws and stretched. "May as well go for a walk, seeing as I'm not going to get any sleep."
[Pokémon]
Meanwhile in the Kanto Region…
Dragonite was no stranger to pain… A keen and powerful battler and a former gym leaders Pokémon, injuries and hurt came with the territory. When Shadow had frozen him solid, it had felt like being stung by a thousand Beedrill.
This morning, however, was different. If Dragonite had ever been in as much pain or felt as bad as he did when he awoke, the bright sunshine assaulting his eyes, he wasn't able to recall the occasion.
Every part of him hurt. His arms and shoulders ached from having spent so long hanging on the Flygon-shaped pole. He had a splitting headache; his mouth was dry, and he felt nauseous. As if he might throw up at any time.
"Ahhhh….What in the name of Zapdos' thunder did we do last night," Dragonite asked himself as he slowly sat up. Immediately he wished he hadn't. His head span the urge to throw up became violent. He put a claw over his mouth and took a deep breath. "Ah man. Feels like there's a Pikachu in my head, constantly using thunderbolt. Cut it out, Pikachu!"
Speaking of Pikachu, as he sat up, he noticed Ashachu…lying flat on his stomach, across his tail. "Huh…What the. Oh, Arceus what the heck did I do last night." He squeezed his eyes shut, the memories of last night slowly surfacing in his mind….
The previous night…
…It could have been a few minutes. It could have been an hour. It could have been several hours. Dragonite was unsure exactly how long he'd been stuck on this blasted Icy pole, but it was far too long.
Fastened, with his own ice beam no less, to ice-flgyon's wings by his claws, there was nothing supporting him except his arms. This meant the weight of his torso and tail was pulling down on his arms, and on his shoulder.
Within a few moments his arms and shoulders were aching, and his wings were feeling numb. Within an hour or so (or likely less than that) his muscles were on fire. And there was no way to stop it. No way to relieve the pressure on his shoulder.
Dragonite tried use his feet to push himself up, taking some of the weight off his shoulders, but even using his toe claws, he was unable to find perches on the icy pole, and he quickly slipped back into the uncomfortable dangling position.
To make matters worse, the weight of his lower body pulled at his chest, making it harder for the poor Dragonite to breath…
"Seriously Flygon, you JERK!" He cried out. He had been moaning out for quite a while now. "What was the point of this."
The Dragonfly like Pokémon standing in front of him giggled, a mischievous grin spread across his small muzzle. "heh-he…Well you said you wanted to try this after watching it happen to Goodra!"
"I distinctly remember I said the opposite," Dragonite said through gritted fangs. He then proceeded to let out a whine of suffering.
Flygon licked his lips mischievously. "Poor Dragonite," he said in mock sadness. "I bet whichever way you twist, turn and position yourself; you can't find a more comfortable position. You're stuck like that. Unable to relieve the pressure."
Dragonite shot him a dirty look. "You bastard!"
"Ah! Now is that anyway to speak to your boyfriend," Flygon simpered, fluttering closer to Dragonite and putting a claw on his chest.
"Is this any way to treat your boyfriend," Dragonite growled back.
Flygon licked him on the cheek. "You remember the rules Dragonite. Winner gets to dominate and decide what to do with the loser. You won and got to use me last time. Don't you remember." As he spoke, his claw trailed down the Dragon's body, across his chest and stomach to the inside of his thigh.
In spite of the situation Dragonite smiled. "You liked that, you dirty bitch."
"And I'll teach you to love this." Flygon pressed himself a little closer, now using both of his claws to trace Dragonite's scale.
Normally this would be enough to excite the Dragon, but in his current position it didn't quite have the same impact. Sure, he could feel the tingles of pleasures over his scales as he always did when Flygon touched him. But it wasn't the same. The sensation dulled by the pain in his arms and wings.
"Arceus damnit," Dragonite cried, wincing again. "Flygon this feels like someone's trying to pull my wings off. LET ME…"
"What in the name of Moltress are you wailing about!"
An angry roar made both dragon's look up, and Dragonite temporarily forget his pained and pleasured state. An extremely irritable looking Charizard came lumbering out of his cave, his claws raised, his tail blazing brightly and his mouth slightly open showing his fangs.
"Oh Charizard," cried Flygon.
"What's the matter," Dragonite added. "You seem tense."
"I'll tell you what's the matter Bagon-brain," Charizard growled. "You've been out here screaming at the top of your lungs for the last few hours now. Ashachu and I are trying to sleep, I can't get any rest when every time I fall asleep, I hear your irritating voice…Oh." He stopped as he noticed Dragonite's predicament, the expression on his face changing from one of anger to surprise and incredulity. "What in the distortion world is going on here?"
"Errrr." Flygon and Dragonite each exchanged looks and made awkward noises. Flygon blushed a little – Dragonite's face was incapable of going redder.
Charizard coxed his head, raising the ridged above his eyes. "Well?"
"Chari," came a soft squeak from behind, as Ashachu scurried out of the cave, and climbed up Charizard's leg, along his back and onto his shoulder, where he rubbed an eye with his paw, yawning, "What's all the roaring and growling about."
"Ask this pair of Bagon-brains!"
"What are they doing?"
Flygon smiled mareepishly, his face practically glowing at this point. He raised a claw and rubbed the back of his head. "Uhm…You two are boyfriends, right?" When Ashachu and Charizard both nodded, he added, "Well…Am I to take it that when you mate, it's. Well… Pretty vanilla."
Charizard's scowl deepened. "And what's that supposed to mean?"
Ashachu let out a small yawn, cover his maw with his paw, only vaguely aware of what they were talking about. Were they talking about mating? Or food? As he yawned, sucking the cool night air into his mouth and nose, he became aware of a scent. A strong, heavy musk, subtle at first, but which quickly overwhelmed his senses.
"What do you expect, he's a Charizard," said Dragonite with a giggle.
Charizard folded his arms and tapped his right foot claw on the ground angrily. "You're pushing it Bagon-brain."
Dragonite let out a chuckle followed by a wince. "You couldn't cause me more pain than Flygon here already has."
"Oh, for the love of Mew…ZARD!" Charizard opened his maw and blew a jet of fire at Dragonite, melting the ice around his claws, and enough of the pole to cause it to finally break under his weight, and Dragonite to fall flat on his back.
"Ahhhh, thank Arceus," Dragonite cried as he lay on the ground. "I don't think I can move my wings."
Flygon let out a disappointed sighed. "By vanilla I mean….err…" he briefly bowed his head and buried it in his right claw. "How in the name of Zekrom do you explain this…" Before raising it again and continuing, "By vanilla I mean, is everything you do kind of…ordinary. In terms of mating."
Ashachu, feeling more awake now, blushed at this question, and couldn't help but giggle. It was quickly dawning upon him just what Flygon was talking about and just what he and Dragonite had been up to, even if it wasn't Charizard.
"That is not your business," he growled, flicking his tail in irritation.
For some reason, this made Dragonite start to laugh. "Hee-hee…Come on Flygon. You know what Charizard's are like."
Charizard rounded on him. "And just what's so funny, Dratini-breath."
"Ohh burn…For most Charizard, their cute little forepaws aren't long enough to reach their slit, hehehe. So poor Chari here can't get himself off…hehehe. Unless another Pokémon reached down there and gives them a good rub."
"Okay that's it!" Charizard snorted, a stream of white smoke billowing from his nostril. He raised his claws and marched over to Dragonite.
"Charizard. No." Ashachu tugged on Charizard's neck trying to stop him, though his effort was in vain.
The fire lizard placed a foot claw on Dragonite's chest and pressed his face close to the other dragon's. "I've had just about all I take you Bagon-brain. You are without doubt the most annoying, antagonising dragon type I have ever…"
In spite of the fact that Charizard was standing on top of him and spitting smoke and embers into his face, Dragonite continued to grin and giggle at him. "Hehehe…That's why you lot are such hotheads isn't it. I met SOOO many Charizard's when I was Raihan's Pokémon. And all of them could count on their claws the number of times in their lives they got to blow their load."
At this, Ashachu had to stuff his paws in his maw to stop himself laughing, and Charizard…
"One more word out of you, and I think I'm going to…Wah!"
Flygon came up behind Charizard and, being careful not to get burned by the flame at the end of his tail, grabbed hold of the fire lizard, wrapping his arms around his middle, and gripping his muscular chest with his claws.
"What the…" Charizard gasped by the mystic Pokémon's sudden…it wasn't an attack. It was something…else. Flygon's claws slid around his chest, drawing circles as if caressing him, "and his body was pressed close against Charizard's back. "Get off me!"
Charizard stumbled backward, trying to shake Flygon off him. This probably had the effect that Flygon has been intending, as he took his foot claw off Dragonite's chest, allowing the other dragon to scramble to his feet.
Or perhaps that wasn't the intention…For Flygon continued to cling to him, resisting Charizard's attempts to shake him off. He even went as far as to kiss Charizard on the neck. Licking the scales about halfway between his shoulder and his cheek.
"Oh, you sick…" Charizard managed to reach behind him and grab a hold of the green antenna on the top of Flygon's head, pulling on it hard.
"Ow ow ow." Flygon let out a squeal of pain, his body slackening, and slipping off of Charizard. "Ow ow. Groudon's claws Chari, let me go!"
Ashachu just clung to Charizard not entirely sure what to make of the situation and was trying hard not to laugh…or fall off Chari's shoulder.
"You two aren't just loud and annoying," Charizard growled. "You're also a pair of Pokémon perverts."
Far from causing any sense of shame in the two of them, Dragonite laughed, raising his paw, and saying, "hehe, perv and proud."
"Could you please let me go now," Flygon squeaked. "Your claws really hurt."
Charizard released Flygon and he collapsed onto the ground, reaching up with his claws to feel his antenna, making sure they weren't damaged.
"Here, let me take a look." Dragonite moved steadily over to Flygon and took a hold of one his antenna in his claw, before licking it.
Charizard let out a low sigh and rolled his eyes. "Look. I don't give a damn what it was you were doing out here. But if you wake me up again with…whatever this is…I'll flame the pair of you!" He then pointed a claw at Dragonite. "And if you ever call me a hothead again, I'll shove a Pikachu up your butt!"
Ashachu, who had been laughing pretty hard up to that point, gave his boyfriend and scowl and whined, "hey!"
"Figure of speech," mumbled Charizard, folding his arms again.
"So…What exactly was it you were doing," Ashachu asked, straightening himself up on Charizard's shoulder, His fits of laughter and caused him to double over.
"Don't ask," Charizard growled. "I don't want to know."
Too late for that – Flygon launched into an explanation. "Well, you see little chu, Dragonite and I…In addition to vanilla mating, Dragonite and I like to…experiment shall we say, with each other's bodies. To test the limits."
"We play a game," added Dragonite. "As part of our training, we battle each other, and, as a prize, whoever wins gets to dominate the other and decide what to do with their body that night."
Charizard groaned and slapped his forehead with his claw. "Oh, you have got to be kidding me."
"Hey, it was his idea," said Dragonite, pointing a claw at Flygon.
At this an embarrassed smile crossed the mystic Pokémon's muzzle, and he looked down at the ground, drawing circles in the grass with his foot. "I had a big crush on Dragonite, but he was soooo obtuse to it."
"Oh, I was not," Dragonite said dismissively with a wave of his claw.
"You were too," Flygon retorted "I don't think I could have made it more obvious that I was flirting with you, but whatever I did, you never caught on. In the end I got sick of Dragonite not getting it, so I decided to be more direct. And challenged him to a battle with the winner…"
"Getting to dominate the other," Dragonite finished the sentence.
"And we've been doing that ever since."
Ashachu felt his tail twitch and tingling throughout his body. The idea was seemed somewhat enticing. Stimulating somehow. He found that he was…There was no other words for it… turned on…Excited by even this small amount of information that he knew, and he yearned to know more.
He wasn't sure what about the story interested him so. The combination of the energy of battle, the spirit of competition and the thrill of the mating and dominance. Or perhaps it was the memories that it stirred… Of being restrained on the ground and tormented as the price for losing a battle to Meowth….
Or perhaps it had something to do with the heavy scent of musk that hung on the air, invading Ashachu's senses with every breath he took, causing him to feel light headed and aroused. He was also just starting to realise something he hadn't before….
These dragons were particularly impressive specimens… large and muscular, the scales glinting erotically in the moonlight, hiding firm muscles beneath.
Charizard shook his head and grunted, "Like I said. A Pair of Pokémon perverts." Though glancing up at his head, Ashachu thought he noticed his lips curl into the hint of a smile as he spoke.
That might have been something Flygon noticed too, because at that moment he sidled back up to Charizard, rubbed his body against the fire lizard and whispered seductively, "You know, you shouldn't knock until you've tried it. C'mon, why don't you and your boyfriend put your bodies on the line. Challenge Dragonite and I."
Ashachu wasn't entirely what made him do it – it just seemed like too good am opportunity to pass up. And much to Charizard's chagrin, he blurted out, "Yes!"
….
Dragonite rubbed his temples, struggling to remember what had happened after that. Annoyingly, his mind had gone blank. Oh well, perhaps the memory would come back to him later. For now, he needed to deal with his more immediate problems.
Not wanting to wake Ashachu, he slid two claws under his belly, and very slowly tried to move him off. There was an unpleasant squelching sound as he did so, and he felt something pull out of him. To his surprise, he noticed a white stain covering the scales around his tail hole.
"Uh-oh." His eyes went wide in shock. "Did Ashachu and I…Did I really get…By a Pikachu. Lugia's storms! Where are?"
Dragonite raised his head and looked around, noticing Flygon and Charizard laying on the ground nearby. They were both deeply asleep. He set Ashachu down on the grass beside him and stood up. Immediately he regretted doing so, as soon as he was on his claws, he felt a wave of nausea.
"bwah…" He double over, gripping his stomach with his claws and throwing up all over the grass. "What in the distortion world is wrong with me? Unless….oh shit!"
