Upon entering the common room Harry looked around and found Neville sitting off to the side looking saddened about something. Walking over Harry took the seat next to Neville.

"I seen you earlier Neville. I am sorry I got sidetracked by Malfoy. Did you need me for something?" Neville looked over and saw Harry sitting next to him.

"Yeah. I need to talk to you about something that has me confused," Neville said taking a letter from a robe pocket. "My gran sent me this the morning after the maze. In it she said that she wanted to speak with both you and I about a family matter. I'm not sure what she means and it has me confused."

Harry sat there thinking about what he knew of Neville family line, or at least the Longbottom line anyway. It took a minute before it clicked in his mind, the Longbottom line were descended from Sir Percivale, a man who swore house loyalty to the house of Pendragon in blood.

"I might know what it is about. Let your gran know that I would be willing to meet with you both as soon as we arrive at Kings Cross the day we head home." Neville simply nodded then rose and headed off to write to his grandmother. Harry then pulled out the slip Madam Bones gave him and read:

I'm cunning and ambitious, with a thirst for might,

My colors are emerald green and silver bright.

My founder was a parselmouth, a snake his friend.

Resourcefulness and self-preservation I commend,

With a serpent as my crest, where the truly great are blessed.

I can change shapes and forms at will,

From a teacup to a quill.

With a flick of my wand and a spell so bright,

I can alter matter with all my might.

Smiling Harry now knew the location of his next challenge and it involved Transfiguration. Putting the not away just as Ron walked up.

"Hey Harry you up for a game of chess?"

"Not today, Ron. I am also still waiting on your apology in regards to the Slytherin students. If you cannot apologize then I am afraid our tattered friendship has come to an end. I will give you till the leaving feast to apologize, if you have not done so by then do not bother to sit with me on the train. I will also be writing to your father about your breach of etiquette and subsequent refusal to apologize to not only me but to the individuals that was speaking to." Ron's ears had turned red during Harry's talk and had kept getting redder as Harry continued. As Harry finished Ron's face, neck, and ears were all rivaling his hair for which was redder.
"You know what this tournament has turned you into a self righteous prick. Take your apology and stuff it up your arse. Don't ever step foot in the Burrow again, you traitor." Ron screeched before storming out of the common room. Harry just shook his head and headed to his dorm room. Harry caught sight of Hermione looking nervously between Harry and the door out of the common room.

"I will always be your friend Hermione. I can no longer be friends with Ronald. If you wish to remain his friend that is your choice. But do know that if you do, I will not hang around while he is around." Hermione nodded then turned back to Lavender, Alicia, and Katie. Harry nodded before climbing the stairs to rest and spell his trunk before dinner. Laying in his bed Harry thought about everything he had done in the last week. He had introduced himself to everyone but the Ravenclaws in his year. He had started the process of helping the children of Death Eaters, who wanted out a way out. He had at least three more locations for the final task of the Triwizard Tournament. He had helped Hermione to stop and think about why things were different in the magical world compared to the non magical world. He had spoken and befriended Neville, the last descendant of Sir Percivale. He had spoken with his second mate, Daphne, who confused him most of the time with her reactions. He had even asked Hermione out on a date, and knew he needed to think of something for that. He had also managed to keep the fact that he knew his heritage from Dumbledore.

"Hey Harry it's time for dinner," Dean said from the doorway. Harry nodded and got up, putting his outer robe back on he followed Dean down the stairs. Hermione was waiting for him and smiled upon seeing him. Harry walked over and took her hand in his.

"Ready for dinner?" Hermione just nodded and the two walked out of the common room hand in hand. "After dinner I have to do something for the final task. I'll see you in the common room, but if it's after curfew I will see you in the morning, okay?"

"Thats fine Harry. I understand having to deal with the treasure hunt for the tournament. I'll walk back to the tower with Neville, if that's okay."

"That would be fine. I have no issues with that, just please be careful of Ron." Hermione nodded and the two sat and ate dinner sharing small talk about school work and classes. After dinner was over Harry watched Neville walk with Hermione back to the Gryffindor common room. Harry then turned and headed down to the Slytherin common room. Daphne caught sight of him and just raised an eyebrow at him, but otherwise said nothing. Harry waited until all the Slytherins had entered the common room before looking around the corridor. Just down from the entrance was Professor McGonagall with a chair, a table, and a book. Walking over he looked to the professor.

"Your task is to transfigure the book into a chicken, the chair into an animal of equal mass, and the same with the table." Harry nodded before turning the book into a chicken. He the transfigured the chair into a Marabou stork. And finally after casting a couple of mass determination spells turned the table into juvenile manatee, which he then sprayed with the water charm to keep it moist. Turning back to the professor he simply raised an eyebrow. Professor McGonagall just looked at him with wide eyes, knowing the other than the book and chair Mr Potter should not have been able to transfigure the table as she had casted an anti-transfigure spell upon the table. "Mr Potter, how did you manage to transfigure the table? It had a spell upon it to prevent it from being transfigured."
"That would explain why I had to cast a simple finite upon the table before I could determine its mass." McGonagall just nodded her head and passed him both a curfew pass as well as his next clue. "Thank you Professor. Have a nice night."

Harry then turned and walked away heading back to his dorm for the night.

"Albus, something is wrong with Mr Potter." McGonagall said as she barged into the headmasters office. Albus simply looked up at her and waited for her to continue. "He was able to remove my anti-transfigure spell from the table, then he cast a spell to determine the tables mass before turning it into an animal I have never seen before."

"May I see you memory of this event Minerva?" McGonagall nodded and removed her memory before placing it in the headmaster's pensive. Albus then entered into the memory and watched Mr Potter preform the three challenges for the task. Once he left the pensive he sat back in his chair thinking. "It would seem that Mr Potter gained the knowledge of the Mass Determination spell from somewhere. I know that that spell is not taught here, nor is it in any of the books in the library. Have any of the others been by to preform the challenges?"

"Yes Mr Diggory was given that clue first, and Mr Krum has been by. Neither one of them were able to transfigure the table." Albus nodded before looking out the window. "Albus what does this mean?"

"I am unsure my dear, but I am worried about Mr Potter learning about his heritage from beyond Peverell. It would not do for him to find out about the lies that have been passed down from Morgana La Fey. I fear it would destroy him to know that his blood is tainted with the dark arts." McGonagall nodded before leaving the office. Albus rose from his desk and walked over to the balcony. "The castle is our grandmother. I will not fail the house of Leodegrance. The Pendragon line will end."

Albus then turned and sent a spell at the sleeping paintings, before also casting a spell at Fawkes. He ignored casting a spell at the sorting hat before heading off to his room to sleep.

"Misty I have need of you my dear." The hat called quietly. A house elf appeared with a silent pop. "I need you to take me to the young king. It is a matter of life or death."

Misty grabbed the hat and popped away reappearing in the fourth year boys dorm room. She placed the hat on Mr Potters bed without waking him, drew the curtains, and popped away.
