I.M.P. office

Moxxie

"Why? Why am I forced to work for that idiot?" Thought Moxxie as he loaded a crossbow with an arrow. Once loaded, he aimed the crossbow at the picture being held by the secretary/daughter of his boss. A tall and lanky Imp by the name of Blitzo. Grumbling at the thought of his boss again, Moxxie prepared to fire the crossbow while recalling his past employment with his relatively new boss, Blitzo, who for some reason preferred to be called Blitz instead of Blitzo.

It's been several months since he married Millie. Since then, taking his father's advice, they found employment with the founder and boss of I.M.P. To Moxxie's utter surprise, they were hired almost immediately. Just like that. They just said that they wanted to be employed for I.M.P. and Blitzo instantly hired them. No questions were asked about their experience in the killing. No question about previous work experiences or references. Not even a question was directed at why they wanted to work for him. He just hired them right then and there. When Moxxie asked Blitzo why he just insulted him and said he should be grateful for getting a job that easily. All with a big smile on his face. A big, goofy smile.

Deciding to not kick a gift horse in the mouth, Moxxie and Millie accepted Blitzo's kind offer of employment. Thus, they became members of I.M.P. Unfortunately, it only took the first day of the job for them to learn that they were only the only employees of I.M.P. besides a gray and silver Hellhound female named Loona, who Moxxie later learned was the adopted daughter of Blitzo.

Okay, Moxxie was a bit nervous upon seeing that they were the only other employees of I.M.P., but Moxxie put his thoughts to the side. I.M.P. was a recently made company, after all. It made sense that they were the only employees of the company. Unfortunately, that nervousness soon increased as time went on.

First off, Moxxie learned that Blitzo was a completely inappropriate and unprofessional boss. The damn Imp for a boss always made crude and offensive remarks against Moxxie whenever he got the chance. Whether it be for his work ethic, his masculinity, or his…penis, Blitzo always finds a way to piss Moxxie.

Then, as if that wasn't enough, Blitzo always finds a way to put blame on Moxxie whenever something goes wrong for them or the company, like money or management issues. Both of these are to be blamed on Blitzo himself as he runs the company like it's a game that's not meant to be taken seriously.

And finally, as if the first two things weren't bad enough, he constantly stalks Millie and him whenever possible. The two can rarely ever have a true moment together alone because of their boss. He's always around, video recording them whenever they're having a romantic moment together, stalking them when they're just going about their daily lives. And even watching them sleep. More than once Moxxie found Blitzo on top of their bed, a smile on his face while he stared at them sleeping.

It absolutely drove Moxxie off the rockers that he had a boss like Blitzo. He would have quit the moment he learned he did all those things if it weren't for two things. One of those was Millie. She, to no surprise of Moxxie, loved their new job. Not only did she get to kill, but she get to do it for money and on mortals. Either of which she did before. And, for some odd reason, she actually liked their boss' weird and unhealthy stalking habits on them. She was also fine, somewhat, with their boss' insults towards him for reasons that Moxxie couldn't understand. Though she did have a limit as both Moxxie and Blitzo found out when Blitzo crossed that line. When he asked this about Millie when it first happened, Millie assured Moxxie that Blitzo will come around to him eventually and that he was only trying to get under his skin. Eventually, he'll stop and come to respect Moxxie as the good employee he is. Until then, she'll keep an eye on him whenever he goes too far and then acts when he does as well as comforting Moxxie whenever he feels down because of his boss' words. Assured by his wife, Moxxie stayed with I.M.P. despite the treatment. Though, to be honest, he would have still stayed in I.M.P. even without Millie's assurances and comfort around. That was because of his dad, Mordekaiser. It was his dad that gave Moxxie and Millie the knowledge of this job. He was the reason that he had to deal with Blitzo and Loona, who was probably the worst secretary that Moxxie has ever seen. Granted, he didn't see many of those in Hell, but he was sure she was up there with how lazy, insufferable, and selfish she was. Even if this was Hell.

Honestly, he loved his dad. He truly did, but he sometimes wondered if his plans were more trouble than they were worth. Particularly this one. Mordekaiser had wanted Moxxie in I.M.P. so he can spy on the Goetia family, but so far, he hasn't made any headway on that. The Goetia responsible for lending Blitzo the Grimoire in the first place never once arrived at the office, likely to avoid creating a scandal for their family. And Blitzo always left by himself to deal with the Goetia, thus Moxxie had little to no chance of gaining priceless information on the Goetia family that his father can use. All he knew was that the Goetia that gave Blitzo the grimoire was actually Stolas Goetia. A rather odd member of the Goetia family with a strange fascination for Imps.

Sighing again, Moxxie wondered if this plan was just a way to teach Moxxie more lessons or to solidify his support of his father's plan to take over Hell. If it was, it sure was working because he absolutely despised Loona and Blitzo at the moment and would like to send a giant dead bird after them to eat them whole.

Now, to be fair, he was only thinking this because of the treatment he endured from both Loona and Blitzo. Both of them seem to take a sick joy in insulting him and making him feel insecure about himself. Millie assures him that they'll eventually come around to him or he grows to tolerate their antics, but Moxxie wasn't sure. They seem pretty dead set on making his life a misery at work.

A small and petty part of him wanted to tell his dad about them. To make them change their attitude towards him because of his dad, even if he would disapprove. And also to get a kick out of their reactions upon learning his dad was the ruler of another afterlife and had possessed a fighting force beyond count. And intended on killing Lucifer to take over Hell and change it for the better. Fortunately, both for him and for his boss and his Hellhound daughter, he refrained from doing that. It wasn't really worth the time of his dad for him to go and make Blitzo and Loona treat him with more respect. And it was actually degrading of him to go and use his dad's power and authority to make Loona and Blitzo be more polite to him. That would make him too much like the spoiled brats of the royal demons in Hell and those that abused their authority for the hell of it. And his dad wouldn't approve of that. No sir. Thus, he refrained.

Sighing as he thought of his dad, Moxxie took aim at the picture of a family that Loona was holding up before firing. Hitting what he was supposed to hit in the picture, the mother with a baby in her arms. The arrow went straight through her head, ripping the picture, before embedding itself on the wall.

"Nice shot, honey!" Yelled Millie as she looked at her husband in excitement and approval. Millie had changed her appearance quite a bit since they became employed in I.M.P. She had cut her black hair shorter to a messy bob-style cut so it wouldn't get in the way when she worked. She now also wore a black crop top with golden buttons where the straps of her top meet with the rest of the attire. She also had a black choker on her neck with black fingerless gloves as well. Finally, she wore torn-up black pants with black footwear that doesn't cover her toes. When Moxxie asked what's with all the black, Millie just shrugged, claiming she liked the color black.

While Millie was encouraging her husband's shot, Loona, their resident Hellhound and secretary, just rolled her eyes while texting on her Hellphone.

"Yeah, great work, pencil dick." Said Loona sarcastically as she texted, not looking up at all. "You shot a piece of paper. Great work." Millie pouted at Loona while Moxxie sighed.

"Still don't see why we have to kill the mother. What did she do?" Asked Moxxie as he felt a pang of guilt at the thought of them killing the mother of a family. "I mean, the client wants the mother dead and we have to respect the client's wishes, but why does she hate this woman so bad that she's willing to ruin a family?"

"No idea." Said Millie as she shrugged, not having a pang of guilt at ruining a family like Moxxie was having. This was what she and Moxxie signed up for after all. To kill people in the living world for those that want vengeance or something like that. Nowhere in the job description did it say that they won't ruin families or kill innocent people. In fact, there didn't seem to be any restrictions at all on who they can kill. Blitzo seems to only care about one thing from his clients and one thing only. Their money. Well, that and also stroking his ego as Millie recalled that one Sinner that came and managed to get a discount from Blitzo after she stroked his ego regarding his love of horses and himself. Spoilers, they got conned out of some good money because of it. "Must be pretty serious as the client is still talking to Blitz. Maybe behind that good and caring mother lays a bitch of a woman?"

"I guess." Said Moxxie as he thought about it. Their newest client, a sinner by the name of Mayberry, had asked them to go and kill a human woman by the name of Martha. That was all she said to them. She must be talking to Blitzo about the reason why. Honestly, that left Moxxie a bit unnerved as to why she did that. It's not like she needed to worry about them changing their minds about killing this Martha character. They don't know her. Well, Moxxie had some reservations, but his loyalty to his father was keeping him from doing anything to get him fired from this job, so there were no issues with him. Mordekaiser wouldn't be too pleased to hear that he got fired from I.M.P. because he didn't want to kill a woman he didn't even know.

Still, as Millie said, there may be something hidden about the woman they're going to kill. She may be a cheating whore or secretly a mass-murdering psychopath. In either case, Moxxie was more than willing to kill such people. Though it seems that would not be the case. What with the woman just telling Blitzo about the details of the job and not the rest of them? Although that could simply be her being professional.

Sighing as he readied to fire another shot from his crossbow, he was about to fire it when Blitzo suddenly opened his door, appearing with the client who had a smile of satisfaction on her face. Blitzo was about to say something, but because he caused a loud noise to occur with him slamming his door open, Moxxie accidentally fired the arrow in the air. The fired arrow ricocheted everywhere in the room until it hit the table where Blitzo's recently purchased demonic eels were located in their fish tank. The table wobbled at first upon being hit, but it soon gave way and spilled the fish tank and the eels to the ground. Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, the eels caused a fire, which caused the fire alarm to go off.

"God damn it, Moxxie! I just bought those eels!" Yelled Blitzo, caring more about the eels and not his employees or the fact that his office was on fire now.

Sometime later

It took a while, but the fire department arrived to take care of the fire in the building. Unfortunately, by the time they arrived, the eels were dead. Blitzo was pissed off by this but was even more pissed off that Moxxie just made them look like clowns in front of their recent client. Now he had to assure her that they can do the job or else she'll want a refund and Blitzo hated giving refunds. So, he decided to do something he equally despised. Giving her a deal.

"Bye!" Yelled Blitzo with a smile as a taxi took Mayberry away from the building where they rented their business. "We'll get that shank in less than 24 hours or else your first kill is free!" Moxxie was about to ask when they started doing that deal when he realized it was made because of him and what he just did. Whimpering a bit as Blitzo glared at him with anger, Moxxie slid behind Millie as she looked at Blitzo.

Gritting his teeth in frustration, Blitzo asked if the fancy book they got from the Goetia family was still intact. Both to do their job and to ensure they all don't die horrible deaths when the Goetia family realizes their book was destroyed and it was because of them. Mainly Moxxie.

"You mean the only way for us to get to the living world?" Asked Loona while texting. She soon stopped texting in order to pull out the thing that Moxxie was here for. A Goetia family grimoire. A magical tome of great and destructive power that his father desired. If Moxxie was the fool he was, he would have taken it right then and there. Fortunately, he wasn't and knew that would just get him killed by either Loona or Blitzo. Despite his incompetence in managing their company, Blitzo was a skilled fighter. Really good if a bit crude and raw in skill. "Yeah. Right here."

"That's why you're my favorite, Loonie." Said Blitzo as he gave the Hellhound puppy eyes for saving the precious book that they needed for their company to actually function. He then pulled out a doggy biscuit for his adopted daughter. "You get a treat now."

"Ew. Gross." Said Loona, disgusted and a bit offended by the doggy treat. Seeing that she wasn't going to take the treat, Blitzo decided to eat it for himself. Much to Loona's disgust. "You're so gross!"

Grumbling as she created a portal to where they needed to go, Loona left the Imps alone to do their work while she went and did…whatever she does when they were out working. Sighing to himself as Loona left while Millie and Blitzo went through the portal, Moxxie himself soon went in and saw that they were out in a clearing in a forest. Ahead of them was a two-story red house with a picket fence and hedges around it. Moxxie had to admit it was a fine-looking place to live. With the nearby forest gives a peaceful environment and the lake to the right of the house for anyone to swim in if they wanted. It was a really nice place to live. Too bad they're going to ruin it by killing the mother of the family.

Stealthily making their way to the side of the house, the three Imps took a peak at a window above them and saw their target. A blond, bimbo-looking woman handing out dinner to her family, which comprised of her, a boy and a girl, and a big buff man. Stunned at how happy they all looked, Moxxie felt a bit hesitant at doing all this, but he then remembered the lessons his father gave him when he was young.

Appearances can be deceiving. You never know when the tiniest of foes can actually be the deadliest of foes. Or if that beautiful woman that was thin and petite you saw yesterday was actually a dangerous killer that killed men many times her size and outmatched her in pure muscle strength alone. Keira was an example of that and, to a lesser extent, Morgana. Remembering those two women and how they could easily kill him if they wanted to, as well as his father's wishes for him to not compromise his job, Moxxie steeled himself as Blitzo spoke up.

"Okay, Moxxie. You want in on this kill?" Asked Blitzo with a smile as he looked at his employee. Stunned that his boss was giving him a chance to kill the target, Moxxie looked at him in surprise.

"You're giving me a chance to kill the target, sir?" Asked Moxxie in surprise considering how what happened literally under an hour ago and how pissed Blitzo was at it.

"Yeah, this one is simple enough for you to handle." Said Blitzo as he brought out a sniper rifle he brought with him that came from absolutely nowhere as Moxxie didn't recall him giving any telltale signs he was carrying a sniper rifle. "Just kill the bitch whore that our client wants payback for having sex with her husband."

"Okay." Said Moxxie, now suddenly not feeling any remorse at knowing the reason their client wanted the woman dead. Gulping a bit, Moxxie grabbed the rifle and aimed it at the woman while she was smiling lovingly at her husband. Feeling a slight tug at his heart at seeing such a lovely scene, Moxxie pushed it down by reminding himself that this woman had cheated on her husband with another man. As well as reminding himself that his father would be disappointed in him if he mucked up his job by letting his emotions cloud his judgment.

Once the woman was in his sight, Moxxie's tail curled up as he pulled the trigger. Blitzo and Millie both let out smiles as they heard the screams from the family Moxxie's bullet hit the woman clearly in the head and splattered her brain all over the dining room wall.

"Nice work, Moxxie." Said Blitzo with a smile as they all ducked under the window. "Now let's get going and get paid for a job well…" Blitzo couldn't say anymore when he suddenly received a bullet to his right arm. "AHH! A new hole! Scatter!"

Upon hearing that, the Imps all scattered to the winds, Blitzo running in one direction while Millie grabbed Moxxie and took off in another. In the meantime, the family of the woman they just killed made a giant size hole in their dining room wall and started shooting at the retreating Imps.

"You damn varmints are dead! You hear me! Dead!" Yelled the husband as he and the children went after one of the damned bastards that killed their wife/mom.

Later

Moxxie and Millie

Lake

"Oh, crumps. You think we lost them, Millie?" Asked Moxxie as the two hid underneath the wooden bridge that the family had near their home.

"I don't think they even went after us." Said Millie as she grabbed the knife she had in her mouth. "Must have gone after Blitz. Saw him leave for the forest."

"Oh no." Said Moxxie upon realizing that was likely the case. "We got to find him and help him out."

"Right." Said Millie as the two went out of the water and into dry land. They were about to wonder where to go when they heard gunshots. Realizing this, they went after where they heard the gunshots coming from. As they ran, Moxxie thought about Blitzo and how he better not be dead by the time they get to him. The guy was a prick and asshole to Moxxie, but he needed him alive. Both because he kept the Grimoire hidden from everyone but Loona and because he owed him a lot for all the abuse and frustration he caused Moxxie since he became employed in I.M.P. Well that and there was the distinct possibility that their Goetia patron will kill both Moxxie and Millie if Blitzo died. For what reason? Well…did just because he felt like it count?

Meanwhile

Mitna Rachnun

Martha Pinkerton was, quite frankly, a bitch and whore that also had a monstrous family. Not only did she frequently have sex with multiple young men, many of whom had girlfriends or wives, but her husband actively encourages her to bring them to their home for dinner. The reason was that they were a Satan-worshipping family that was also cannibals. Thus, to feed their cannibalistic wants, Martha would seduce men, preferably young men, and have them come over to their homes for any reason at all. Mostly for either a good bite to eat, not knowing they were on the menu, or for more sex without their loved ones knowing about their affair.

It was then that Ralphie, her husband, would kill them and then he and Martha would harvest their bodies for food and whatever valuables they had on them when they killed them. It was a simple plan they had and one that worked fairly well for them for years. However, they hit the motherlode a few days ago when Martha had sex with the husband of an elementary teacher by the name of Matilda Mayberry. The bitch got so mad she went and killed her cheating husband, shooting Martha as well, before committing suicide. Martha, seeing the opportunity before her, created a fake sob story of the entire event. Much to her and her family's delight, it worked and they got a large sum of money from the local city as well as popularity. The people even called her a hero. The idiots. It seemed that Satan was smiling upon them.

Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse, somehow, and as her family was about to start their dinner, made out of their most recent victim, a gunshot was heard that broke their dining room window. The last thing that Martha remembered was a flash along with screams from her little ones.

Now, Martha found herself walking up in a bleak and empty room instead of her dining room. Looking around, Martha saw that the room she was in was empty of furniture with the exception of a well that was glowing. Getting up, Martha looked at the well and saw that it wasn't filled with water. Instead, it was some kind of portal of green and blue that swirled around.

"What in Satan's name." Said Martha as she saw this. She then saw something on her face and she looked at herself. To her shock, she found herself having blue skin and that parts of her body were but bones and blue mist. Before she could contemplate this further, she heard a deep chuckle that sent shivers up her spine.

"Another soul to add to my domain." Said Mordekaiser as the doors to the room that Martha was in opened and out came Mordekaiser along with Keira. "One that holds some strength to maintain her life amongst the living, unlike most that came from Hell." Turning around, Martha saw a giant of a man in dark armor approaching her with a young woman of short stature that had no legs, causing her to float, and was dark blue in pigmentation, much like her own. Seeing them, Martha put on a face of innocence and asked them why she was there.

"*Chuckles* Do not try that act with me or my followers." Said Mordekaiser as he summoned his mace, Nightfall, into his hands while Keira had her metal fragments appear behind her. "I know what you are really. I know what you did and I also know that you will serve me loyally." Upon hearing all that, Martha dropped her act and showed her razor-sharp teeth, and adopted a crazed look on her face.

"Oh well. Worth a shot." Said Martha as she felt her back with her hands for the knife she always had on her person. After finding it, she threw it at the large man in the blink of an eye. The knife went straight for Mordekaiser's face, specifically the opening of his helmet. Martha grinned as the knife hit her target but was astounded when all she heard was a metal twang instead of the sound of flesh being penetrated. She then watched in horror as some mist came out of the helmet and out came her knife. Chuckling at the attempt to harm him, Mordekaiser spoke.

"Impressive." Said Mordekaiser. "But you have a lot to learn about your new life." With that, Keira sent out her metal shards at Martha. Sending them out at breakneck speeds, Keira had them placed around Martha's neck or her heart, all ready to go right through the cannibal woman at their master's command. "I will abstain from reducing your soul to dust for that foolish choice of yours as you're not the first to make that mistake. However, I will give you only one chance to amend that. Swear your loyalty to me and only me. Do so and I will not only let you live, but I will also allow you to become something greater than you have ever been during your time amongst the living. I will even let you have your family here by your side with the same benefits as you will receive today. Perhaps even more if they prove themselves worthy of it. Do not swear fealty and I will still make use of you, albeit in you may not prefer. What shall your answer be?" Martha just looked at the giant of a man in contemplation.

The offer was pretty straightforward. Serve him eternally and loyally or be reduced to a slave. That was basically it. Much as it sounded like it was an obvious choice, Martha wasn't going to be commanded by anyone. Not only was it against her principles to serve anyone but her family and herself, but it also went against what she believed in. Satan would never bow down to anyone, not even God. Why should she do something that Satan himself wouldn't do? Thus, against the better judgment of those that actually had a brain, she spat at the girl next to the big man. The spit phased through Keira and hit her hood. Instead of reacting like Martha had thought she would, Keira simply looked at Mordekaiser. Looking at Martha with some amusement, Mordekaiser simply gave Keira a wave of his hand.

Upon seeing this, Keira's metal shards went to work. At their master's command, the shards began to turn slice, and dice Martha until there was nothing left a big pile of "meat."

"So foolish." Said Mordekaiser as he extended out a hand and the "meat" of Martha turned into a liquidity substance that floated towards him. "No matter. You will still be of use. You will help forge the new regime for Hell." With that, Mordekaiser and Keira left the room to take their newly acquired material to the masons so they can use it to further advance their lord's domain. Exiting the room and the building it was in, the two were having an uneventful walk when they were set upon by a large bird-like creature made of metal and whose black beady eyes glowed green. Flying above Mordekaiser and Keira, the bird-like creature made of metal and souls screeched at them. The sounds it made would have the common mortal clasping their ears in pain at the sounds. But for the dead of Mitna Rachnun, they cared little. Even Keira, who held more "flesh" than most other denizens of the realm of the dead, cared little about the noises the bird was making. As for her leader and master, he was hearing the bird screeches, growing more and more interested in what it was saying, seemingly understanding what it was conveying. Soon, he spoke to Keira.

"Keira, we have a change in plans." Said Mordekaiser as he gave the liquidated remains of Martha to Keira, who used her own prowess in the magical arts to manipulate the liquid into a green ball. "We're bringing this soul to the incubation chambers. It seems that one of my projects has finally come to fruition." Upon hearing that, Keira couldn't help but feel a little pride for her master and lord.

"I'm glad to hear that, milord." Said Keira as she watched her lord depart for the incubation chambers in order to see one of his many projects come to fruition. A project that had been inspired by Hell like many other projects that had been started since they learned of Hell and have learned many of its wonders. Many of which they used to advance their own society. Usually in the arts of warfare. The project that Mordekaiser was going to investigate was one that was both an advancement of war, but also one that can advance the civil aspects of Mitna Rachnun as well. At least, that was Keira's hope. "May it be as successful as we hope it is and more."

"Indeed." Said Mordekaiser, having heard Keira. "For if this project is successful, then even the weakest of souls have a chance to serve beyond as mere, nameless, materials to be manipulated without care on who they used to be. Even those strong-willed that refused to bow or have proven to be unsuitable or unreliable to serve our empire yet are too valuable to be reduced to mere stone can still serve as loyal warriors to my domain thanks to this project. Yes. I must thank Hell for providing me with the inspiration for this project. This truly shows the value of Hell and other cultures, Keira. It's pitiful that such value is being wasted because of the incompetence and lack of an actual mind amongst the leaders of Hell."

"Indeed, though we should not underestimate them, milord." Said Keira. "Only fools underestimate their opponents, as my former owners learned the hard way." Mordekaiser gave a hum of approval to Keira for that comment, pleased.

"And the leaders of Hell will suffer the same mistake when we come to take Hell for ourselves unless they submit to my rule." Said Mordekaiser as he raised a freed clawed hand and clenched it hard as they approached their destination. "And they submit they will lest they fall to my latest creations. My Niskaru."
