Chapter 14

Mansion

In an expansive mansion that belonged to one of the noble families in Hell, the Goetia Family to be exact, a lone figure was sleeping in a colorful but currently unlit beyond a few windows providing natural light when she suddenly awoke to the sounds of something breaking and the screams of a woman. Groaning upon hearing the sounds, the figure got up revealing to be a bird-like demon with dark feathers and bright pink eyes. An odd combination, but one that somehow worked to make her somewhat attractive in demon society.

Bearing an unsurprised and bored expression, the demon female placed some earbuds on and powered up her Hellphone. Turning it on, she soon choose a song from her phone and played it, turning up the volume to the max so that she didn't have to endure the screaming and breaking of furniture as much as she possibly can. With that done, she got to get dressed for what would probably be a very shitty day for her.

After a few minutes, she was dressed up in a pink dress with yellow stars all over it. Over that dress was a black feathery shawl around her shoulders with a pink choker around her neck. To finish it all off, she had black leggings, black heeled boots, and a black beanie with a pale yellow tiara design on it. Not attire you would expect from someone amongst the noble families of Hell, but the girl did not give a damn about any of that now. Today was going to be a shitty day for her and she didn't feel like dressing up what Hell society deemed appropriate for noble women like her. With a sigh, the demon female got out of her room and straight towards the yelling and furniture breaking as it was located where the kitchen was in this blasted mansion. Well, the one on the floor she was on anyway.

Walking to the kitchen, the bird demon heard the screaming and throwing of items get louder as she approached the kitchen, making her realize that it was all in the Kitchen. Groaning at this news, the bird demon nevertheless went onward to the kitchen, wanting to get a coffee to start the shitty day she was about to have.

Arriving at the kitchen, the female demon wasn't too surprised to see two other bird demons yelling at each other. Well, the female one was. And, to the annoyance of the first demonette, those two demons were her parents.

The other female one was a white feathered avian demon with red, ruby-like eyes that were currently showing rage and anger at the only avian male in the room. Her massive black and white dress with puffed-up sleeves and feather trimming was, honestly, quite beautiful if a bit too big for the recent arrival's tastes. Finally, she had black finger-less gloves that showed off her sharpened talons and massive black brows that were appealing.

While the recent arrival began to make herself a cup of coffee and grabbed a cereal box from a cabinet, the white-feathered demon picked up a servant, an Imp, that was unfortunate enough to be around the kitchen during this time and threw it at the male avian demon, who dodged in time, screaming out if he wanted to fuck the Imp servant.

"Of course not." Said the only male avian demon as he raised his arms in defense while his eyes were big with fear. The avian demon was currently wearing a burgundy night robe that was barely covering anything despite being tightly knotted around his waist. His gray-blue feathers were ruffled and messy as a result of a poor night's sleep or something else that the avian females didn't want to think about at all. He was tall and slender, with a white, heart-shaped face that had a small black beak, making him resemble an Earth owl. He had two pairs of almond-shaped red eyes, one set atop the other, with no visible irises or pupils on any of them.

"You are a goddamn embarrassment!" Yelled the white-feathered demonette as she finally had enough of seeing the man that was currently boiling her blood at the moment. "I'm not spending another moment looking at your pathetic, Imp-sucking face!" With that she marched out of the kitchen, destroying things the moment she left, cursing the male at the same time. Sighing in both relief and exhaustion at her leaving, it was then that the avian male realized who had entered the kitchen.

Upon realizing this, the avian male lit up and spoke in a cheerful manner.

"Good morning, Octavia! Did you sleep well, my owlette?" Asked the avian male as he addressed his only child. Octavia Goetia. The sole child of Stella and Stolas Goetia. Upon hearing the question, Octavia gave her dad a minor glare while slamming down her cup of coffee, irritated at the stupid question.

"Is that a serious question?" Asked Octavia sarcastically, annoyed with her father. Upon hearing that, Stolas frowned a bit as he went over to the fridge so he can feed the house plant in this kitchen.

"Hmm." Said Stolas as he tried to figure out a way to start up a conversation with his only daughter. He remembered the days when Octavia was just a child. Back then she loved to be around him and was always thrilled to spend time with him. Now, she absolutely despised being around. She shut herself out from both him and Stella constantly. She always was in her room doing whatever teens this age do for fun and entertainment. And, to top it all off, she never calls him dad affectionately anymore. It hurt Stolas that he had such a cold relationship with his only child and he wanted to fix that while he still could. Thinking about what to do, Stolas saw that she was listening to something and decided to try that. Music was, after all, a shared passion between her and him. "What's that you're listening to, my dear?"

"This song is call called, "My world is burning down around me." Said Octavia, disturbing Stolas a bit given their current situation with each other. And that increased as she went on. "It's by, "Fuck you dad." It's a band."

"Oh, how charming." Said Stolas as he grabbed a piece of finely cut meat for his plant, now completely disturbed. Closing the fridge door, Stolas went over to his massive demonic plant and fed it the meat. As it chomped on the food happily, Octavia asked if Stolas and Stella were done screaming at each other for the day.

Stolas was about to respond to the question when they both heard more screaming from Stella followed by more of their furniture being destroyed, which answered the question quite well for them.

Clicking his tongue, Stolas wondered how to not only reconnect with his daughter but also get away from the house so that he doesn't have to deal with Stella potentially maiming him or worse. Wondering what to do, Stolas then suddenly remembered something from Octavia's past and he smiled a great big smile.

"You know what I haven't done in a long, long time." Said Stolas as he approached his daughter with a big smile on his face. "I haven't taken you to your favorite place in all of Hell! Why don't we go to Loo Loo Land!?" Upon hearing that, Octavia looked at her father in both surprise and annoyance. Mostly the latter.

"I'm not five anymore, dad." Said Octavia with a deadpan look along with a near-dead tone of voice as well. Stolas wasn't deterred by this, however, and continued to speak wholeheartedly.

"You always were so happy when I took you to Loo Loo Land." Said Stolas with a happy expression on his face. "Why don't we head there again? Have a day. Just the two of us." While Stolas was excited at the prospect, Octavia wasn't.

"I'd rather kill myself." Said Octavia, wishing for whatever higher deity, be that God or any demon in Hell above her father in status, to prevent her dad from taking her to an overrated kid's park in the Greed Ring that was just a rip-off of Lucifer's more popular, and safe, amusement park, Lu Lu World. Unfortunately, no one was coming to save her.

"There you go!" Yelled Stolas, not noticing or caring about his daughter's attitude to the idea of going to Loo Loo Land. "Anything is better than staying in this house. Now, I'll arrange our security."

"Security for a theme park?" Asked Octavia as she watched her dad go towards the telephone offered to him on a plate by an Imp Servant. The very same one that her mother used as a projectile against her father in her rage.

"We're rich and we're hot." Said Stolas as he looked at his daughter while he walked away. "People want us for our money and our bodies!"

"Our money maybe." Said Octavia as she mentally prepared herself for the stupidity that will ensue today. She should have just stayed in her room and waited until her parents were out of the kitchen.

"Speak for yourself, princess." Said Stolas, knowing that there was plenty that just wanted him for his body. "Now, I'm calling the only man that can fuck me!"

"What?" Asked Octavia in horror and disgust. Both at her father's infidelity and the fact that he was probably calling the person that was responsible for the shitty life she had right now.

"Who can protect me." Said Stolas, correcting himself. "Being part of the Goetia Family is rather valuable, you know." Upon hearing that, Octavia just groaned as she placed her beanie over her eyes. She really regretted not staying in her room now.

As her dad called his little fuck buddy, Octavia thought of someone and wondered if she should pay them a visit after this soon-to-be shitty day.

Later

Loo Loo Land

Greed Ring

After a few hours, Octavia and her father along with their protection arrived at Loo Loo Land. Upon seeing the amusement park, Octavia couldn't help but cringe at the sight.

She hated this place. Sure, she used to love it when she was a child, but that was when she was more innocent and naïve than she was now. Now, she can see the corporate bullshit and shame that came with Loo Loo Land. Not to mention the stupidly expensive merchandise and rigged games. And then there was the robotic clown that always made her cry as a kid. Fuck, she hated that fucking clown. How the fuck did her dad not understand the trauma that she endured of Loo Loo Land because of that fucking clown back when she actually liked to be here, she will never know. And judging by the happy expression her dad had, along with the Loo Loo Land attire he was wearing, he still didn't get it.

Seeing her dad put on a Loo Loo Land hat and gesture for her to come along to the theme park, Octavia groaned before following her dad and one of the Imp's protecting her and her dad. The other two close behind.

Looking at the Imps protecting her and her dad, Octavia noticed that one was female and the other two were male. All of them wearing black suits and pants. Mentally rolling her eyes at their chosen attire, she refrained from making a sarcastic remark about their attire being effective clothing for bodyguards and just prepared herself for the cringe and annoyance she'll feel today because of her dad's insistence on coming to an overrated kid's park, thinking it'll help repair the rift between her and him. When in reality, it'll probably just do the opposite and widen it further.

Meanwhile

Moxxie

"I never thought that we would be here so soon." Said Moxxie as he escorted Prince Stolas' daughter into the theme park. An oddity of a job considering his profession as an Assassin, but when Blitzo got a call from their strange investor, aka Stolas, asking them to be his bodyguards while he took his daughter to a theme park in Greed. A very odd request, one that made Moxxie raise an eyebrow in confusion. Why Stolas wanted to take his daughter to such a cheap theme park when there were better and somehow cheaper ones, not to mention closer and safer for nobles like them, than Loo Loo Land.

Millie had asked that they go to Loo Loo Land at least once after they got married. Though Moxxie was reluctant to go there even once as he had checked the prices of even the most basic things in Loo Loo Land, of which he was absolutely appalled with how expensive they were, they were unable to afford to because their jobs didn't pay them enough for them to afford to go to Loo Loo Land. Not unless they wanted to skip eating or pay rent for some time. Damn Blitz and his inability to be financially responsible.

So, when they were told that they were going to Loo Loo Land at the expense of Stolas, Moxxie was confused while Millie squealed in joy as she finally had a chance to return to one of her favorite childhood places to go. Thus, despite Moxxie confusion at hiring assassins as bodyguards, I.M.P. picked up Stolas and his daughter, Octavia, from their palace and traveled to the Greed Ring from Pride. The trip would have taken days of preparation, but thanks to Stolas, they managed to get entry to Greed on one of the heavy-duty express elevators for vehicles and heavy cargo, and they managed to arrive quite quickly. Enough that they can spend the day there and be back in time for more work tomorrow.

"Same here!" Squealed Millie as she looked all around the theme park, amazed that everything was as it was when she was a child all those years ago. "I can't believe we can be here! This place is so amazing! My parents always took me and my siblings here whenever we could afford it!"

"And how often was that?" Asked Octavia, can't believe that someone actually loved this place that was above the age of five. How can anyone love this place and be in their twenties?

"Every three months or so." Said Millie with a smile, acting as if that wasn't a bad thing considering Loo Loo Land's outrageous prices. "Sometimes earlier if we had a really good harvest or we won some competitions that had money as a prize amongst things."

"Un-fucking believable." Said Octavia as she rolled her eyes and proceeded to walk away from her escort. Millie was a bit offended at the princess but decided not to do anything stupid. Headstrong as she was, she wasn't stupid enough to attack the daughter of a demon prince. Especially when he was literally a few feet away from her.

"What's her deal?" Asked Millie, causing Moxxie to shrug.

"I'm guessing she doesn't like this place because of something that happened at another theme park?" Said Moxxie before going over to a gift shop and seeing the outrageous prices for even one novelty cup. "Though the prices here don't really give it a good image. I mean, that much for a novelty cup that you're only going to use just one?"

"Because it's Loo Loo Land!" Squealed Millie, her enthusiasm returning. After she said that, Blitzo walked up to them with a novelty cup in hand. Taking a sip from his recently purchased cup, Blitzo spoke up.

"Listen to your hoe, Mox." Said Blitzo as he fist-bumped one of Moxxie's arms. "How about we take shifts." After saying that, he took off his sunglasses and gave his employees a smirk. "Why don't I take the first shift so that you two can have a little fun." Upon hearing that, Millie squealed out in joy before grabbing Moxxie and carrying him somewhere.

"We got to try my favorite ride!" Yelled Millie as she led Moxxie to said favorite ride. Stunned, but alright with his wife's enthusiasm, Moxxie asked her where it was. Rather than telling him, Millie pointed to a massive roller coaster that had all manners of twists and turns in the ride. And to top it all off, the entire ride lit up in green flames the moment it went down the final hill of the ride and into a hole, which made Moxxie assume the ride wasn't over yet. Upon seeing this, Moxxie let out a single sentence.

"Oh crumbs." Said Moxxie as he was led to the ride by his wife. This was going to go well.

Meanwhile

Mitna Rachun

"Keira, it's time that we test our new denizens." Said Mordekaiser from his throne. Keira, who had been summoned by her lord awaited her new orders. Privately, she had wondered what it was about before coming to her lord. Now she knew and awaited what she was to do. "More than enough of them have been spawned from the pits to warrant a need to see if improvements are needed for the next batch. Thus, I wish you to take a few to Runeterra and test their abilities in combat. We'll handle other concerns here or in Hell once I find an opportunity to do so without endangering our goals there."

"Very well, milord. Where shall I take them?" Asked Keira as she looked at her lord, ready to accomplish whatever task he had in store for her. What he said next, left Keira a bit stunned.

"I wish for you to take a handful of Niskaru to Ionia. Specifically the Navori province. Some parts of that province are under the control of Noxus and what better way to test my new warriors than testing them against those that have claimed my bastion as their own." Said Mordekaiser.

"Am I to only attack the territories belonging to the Noxians?" Asked Keira, her voice calm, but Mordekaiser can sense the hatred and anticipation at hunting those that had murdered her kinsmen and caused her to become what she was now.

"If you desire." Said Mordekaiser. "I see no reason to attack Ionians. They are a fierce people when rattled, that I have no doubt, and their magic and land are interesting, but I have no desire to wage war on them. There is no need to attack them. If you wish to do so, then you may at your discretion. If there is nothing else, you may leave. The Niskaru picked for this task are awaiting you at the top of the pits."

"Thank you, milord." Said Keira, silently thankful at his verification of whether or not she was supposed to attack her own people or not. With that, Keira began to leave to gather her Niskaru so they can depart for Ionia. As she floated away, Keira thought about Ionia and wondered how her people will see her now that she was a spirit that was now a servant to the Revenant that brought about the empire that caused so many Ionians to lose their lives and their land to be forever changed.

Meanwhile

Moxxie

"Just keep doing that, Mox." Said Millie as she patted her husband while he threw up in a trashcan, a result of him being unable to hold in his lunch during the ride. Behind the married couple, a family of Imps walked by them, giving them a glare while covered in green barf. A result of Moxxie throwing up during the ride.

Patting her husband's back, Millie felt a little bad for Moxxie. It was her wish for them to go together on her favorite ride. In her excitement at once again riding it, she completely failed to see Moxxie's nervousness and uncertainty about doing this. Biting her lip, Millie apologized to Moxxie about the whole ordeal, to which Moxxie waved his free hand to say it was no big deal.

"It's alright, Millie." Said Moxxie as he looked at his wife, a bit of barf on the corners of his mouth, causing Millie to wipe them out with a napkin she found on the floor. "Heard that it's common to barf on your first roller coaster ride. I can see why now."

"You're first? Your dad never took you to an amusement park?" Asked Millie as she tilted her head in surprise. She thought that Moxxie's dad would at least take him to one. Like Lucifer's Lu Lu World in Pride.

"He never really liked the idea of amusement parks. Always saw them as a waste of money, time, and resources." Said Moxxie as he recalled his thoughts of what his dad would think of amusement parks. He was pretty sure he got the right idea, just needed to add a bit more violence to it. "Plus, I never really liked the idea of amusement parks myself. I was pretty much on my own in terms of finances and my destiny after I turned ten. At my own request and I'm pretty sure that my dad had his friends keep an eye on me at all times. Even when I'm sure I was alone."

"Really?" Asked Millie. She heard about Moxxie being alone to do what he wanted after he turned ten years old, but she never imagined his dad would go to those lengths to keep an eye on his son. He must really care for him if he did that.

"Yeah. I only learned about it when I turned eighteen." Said Moxxie, recalling a conversation he had with his apartment owner back then. He was stunned to hear that he was an agent of his dad, but was even more stunned to hear that he had been ordered to keep an eye on him while he forged his own destiny. As much as Moxxie was a bit disappointed that his dad kept an eye on him even after he told him he was allowing Moxxie to forge his own future, more of him felt comfort in him doing so as it showed his care and love for Moxxie. Even if he would claim otherwise. And truth be told, it wasn't like he was actually interfering much other than being lenient on rent money and Moxxie using the apartment's services, of which he was good. Most of the time anyway when former girlfriends and boyfriends weren't around to mess things up. He had moved away from the apartment with Millie in order to be closer to I.M.P. The landowner told him that the apartment was always available when he needed it. While Moxxie was grateful for the offer, he really needed to be close to I.M.P. Especially with how Blitzo was in doing…everything. "Dad really cares about me."

"I'll say." Said Millie with a smile. "My parents should really meet him. I bet he's going to blow them away with how rich and connected he is." Moxxie chuckled at what Millie said, knowing that was true. She just didn't know how true that was and how he'll deal with her parents regarding their treatment of Moxxie. He really should be there so Mordekaiser doesn't go do anything that will make them look bad to Millie's family.

"Anyway, I never really liked amusement parks myself. The mascots always creeped me out. Like that guy." Said Moxxie pointing to an Imp in a worn-out Loo Loo Land mascot suit currently being shamed by Octavia, who looked disgusted at the mascot. "That guy is likely a pedophile. I just know it."

"Uh…you got a point." Said Millie, having never actually liked the mascots either. Even as a child. "Anyway, let's spend some more time having fun before Blitzo decides to put us in charge of protecting the Goetias!"

"Can't argue with that." Said Moxxie with a shrug. "Just no more roller coasters. I don't think my stomach can handle it." Millie giggled at that before leading Moxxie to some carnival games. Unbeknownst to them, Stolas was being manhandled by a bunch of Imps looking to either kill him or hold him for ransom given his royalty status. This caused Blitzo to shoot one of his assailants, killing him and forcing the rest to flee. All the while, Stolas was laughing and smiling, eager to be a damsel in distress for his beloved Blitzo. Octavia, meanwhile, was groaning and glaring at her father in disgust.

She then watched as the Imp dragged Stolas to the tent that had the fucking robot clown that she hated with Stolas flirting with him all the way. Groaning again, Octavia followed them, hating this trip more and more as time went on.

"I'm definitely going to him after all this is over." Thought Octavia as she entered the tent and found a seat that was far away from everyone else, of which there were surprisingly few children to watch the show. Blitzo sat Stolas next to her, causing Octavia to grab the bag over her father's head so he can watch the show. Sure enough, the moment she did remove the bag, the show started, and out came her childhood nightmare, a robot by the name of Fizz. A robotic replica of the real Fizzarolli, who worked for Asmodeus, the King of Lust himself.

Frowning as the robot started talking, Octavia mentally prepared herself for a real shit show as well as cursed her father for making her put up with this shitty day.

"My friend wouldn't have me put up with this." Thought Octavia sullenly as robo-Fizz started the show with his robotic band of various terribly maintained and decaying robots that were playing various instruments. "Why can't I have him as a father over my own?" Looking at her father in disappointment as he started to clap and enjoy the show, not noticing at all his daughter's frown or how disappointed she was at him for dragging her here. Sighing loudly, Octavia felt even more disappointment as her father either ignored her sigh or just didn't notice to playfully clap at the show. Feeling something sting her eyes, Octavia wiped them only to realize they were tears. Looking again at her dad, Octavia felt her heart break even more when she noticed he was focusing more on the show and not on her. Seeing this caused something in Octavia to snap.

"That's it!" Yelled Octavia as she got up, causing Stolas to look at her in surprise. Before he could do anything, she slapped the stupid Loo Loo Land hat off his head and ran out of the tent, tears gathering in her eyes.

"Octavia!" Yelled Stolas in concern and worry, going after his daughter. Blitzo, upon seeing this, began to go after them when robo-Fizz spotted him and started laughing.

"Is that you Blitzo!?" Yelled robo-Fizz as he stopped the show abruptly, causing protests from the few kids in the tent. Robo-Fizz ignored them as he focused on Blitzo, who glared at the robot.

"The O is silent!" Yelled Blitzo before shooting at an Imp that was running to Stolas with a knife.

"Ohh! Just like the audience when you told your lame-ass jokes here!" Said robo-Fizz with a smile, causing Blitzo to harden his glare. The two then began to exchange insults and crude remarks at each other before Blitzo started to shoot at robo-Fizz with a mad smile on his face. Thus, a massive shooting started in Loo Loo Land. Again.

While all this was happening, Moxxie was yelling out curses as he was trying to win a stuffed prize for his wife at a rigged carnival game. He eventually caught on that the game was rigged and proceeded to do what his father likely would have done in this situation. Shoot the carnival game owner dead for having a rigged game before giving Millie a choice of the prizes, something she was absolutely thrilled with. Not caring about the legality of her husband's choices. It's Hell after all and he paid enough money to the dead game owner to actually pay for three of the stuffed things she wanted.

"Oh, I love these things, Moxxie!" Yelled Millie as she hugged the stuffed things of some sort of animal in Hell while Moxxie collected the money he was robbed from the now-dead carnival game owner.

"They do look appealing, I won't deny that." Said Moxxie as he looked at the things that Millie has in her arms. Before he could add any more, Blitzo suddenly crashed into the carnival game stand via the roof, surprising the two of them.

"Sir!" Yelled Moxxie in surprise while Blitzo recovered.

"Oh hey, guys!" Yelled Blitzo with a smile before getting up and glaring at an approaching robot, robo-Fizz, who had lost most of his paint from a sudden wildfire in the amusement park. A result of his fight with Blitzo. "You guys looked over Stolas and his daughter. I got a little unfinished business to attend to." Seeing the seriousness of his voice, the two Imps left to go find their client, hoping he wasn't in any trouble. As the sounds of fighting returned as Blitzo and robo-Fizz went at it again, Moxxie thought of Stolas and wondered where the hell he was.

Octavia

"I'm out of here." Said Octavia as she threw a rock into the window of the Imp bodyguards' van, breaking it, and allowing her to enter the driver's seat. Uncaring about the glass all over the seat, Octavia looked around for the keys. Seeing none, Octavia groaned before hot-wiring the van to start. It took awhile, given she has no idea what she was doing, but Octavia got it started and began to drive the van out of the parking lot. She was just about to take off when she heard yelling.

"Octavia!" Yelled Stolas as he saw his daughter take off in I.M.P.s' van. Panicking at this, Stolas was about to do something when several unknown Imps began dogpiling him, allowing Octavia to drive away uninhibited. Watching as his daughter drove away, Stolas felt rage in his stomach and soon he began to turn into shadows and began systematically ripping apart the Imps that dared to get in the way of him and his daughter. Their screams and pleads for mercy went unanswered as Stolas, a mass of shadows and red eyes ripped them apart with what they did. It only lasted a minute, but Stolas was done and reverted back to his usual self.

Dusting himself off, Stolas then looked in the direction of where Octavia left and panicked. His daughter driving by herself!? What if she got into an accident? What if she got lost? What if some punk in Greed took her to take advantage of her? What if…

His thoughts were scrambling his ability to do anything or even notice his surroundings. Something Moxxie and Millie noticed when they got close to him.

"Uh, sir." Said Moxxie as he looked at Stolas looking in the direction of where Octavia left. "What happened?" That question caused Stolas to grab Moxxie and Millie while he glared at them.

"Where were you two!" Yelled Stolas as he glared at the two Imps under the employee of his Blitzy. Gulping, Moxxie and Millie looked at each other, wondering what to say without getting them killed.

Ionia

Keira

"We will hunt here." Said Keira as she led her group of Niskaru, six in total, to an area that she knew was infested with Noxian patrols. Through information from a Noxian officer that had died recently in the borders between the territories of the Navori province held by Noxus and the people of Ionia, Keira had the Niskaru and herself teleported to an area that she knew was crawling with Noxian patrols that were constantly on the lookout for Ionian resistance members crawling in the area or Ionians attempting to escape from Noxian held territories.

Her plan was simple. In this area, a heavily forested area with rocky terrain and plenty of places to hide, they can strike on an unsuspecting Noxian patrol, and the Noxian occupational forces will think it was just an Ionian resistance cell that destroyed the patrol. Not demonic beings from Mitna Rachun and a spirit of hate and vengeance towards the Noxian people. Thus, the secret of Mitna Rachun will be kept until it was far too late for the Noxians to do anything regarding the return of Mordekaiser. Her master.

Giving out instructions to her minions, Keira watched as the Niskaru went to find places to hunt and hide in. Splitting into groups of three, the Niskaru went on their own while keeping close to the other group. Keira, meanwhile, left to do her own thing, having faith that the Niskaru can work without her constant guidance.

Moving to the sounds of a waterfall nearby, Keira floated towards it. All the while thinking about her past life and what she learned befall Ionia since her death.

Much has changed in Ionia and not for the better. Since her death, Keira learned that Noxus launched an invasion of Ionia fourteen years after Moxxie had been born. It was a grand invasion that show millions of Ionians perish and their magic and treasures plundered by the Noxians for their empire. Their land, their creatures, and even their children were taken from them. To be used for the Noxian war machine and were forced into servitude and loyalty to Noxus, no matter if they wanted to or not. It enraged Keira and increased the hatred she had for Noxus a thousand-fold. They had taken her innocence at an early age, robbed her of a chance to start a family of her own and experience love, and, perhaps worst of all, killed her entire family bar one during their invasion. When she learned that latter piece of information, Keira let loose a scream that, to this day, still echoed in her chambers. After calming down, Keira had sworn an oath to kill those that had killed her family in a terrible and painful way. So far, three of those had been traveled to Mitna Rachun. Each one loses their mind and becomes nothing more than brick for the death realm, much to Keira's disappointment. She hoped one of them can endure the revelation so she can reduce them to paste herself for the death of her family.

Mordekaiser was not pleased when he learned of this oath, finding it trivial and a waste of resources, but a promise and renewed oath from Keira to serve him forever enabled her to have this oath. But nothing more.

Floating to the waterfall, Keira thought about Mordekaiser and her loyalty to him.

Truth be told, many of her kinsmen would be disgusted if they learned that she was loyal to the very Revenant that brought about the creation of Noxus. Whether it be because of their emotions or because they believe it if weren't for him, then Noxus would never be in existence in the first place, many Ionians would no doubt despise her for being loyal to Mordekaiser. Indeed, even those from Ionia that were in Mitna Rachun were few in number compared to those that died in the Noxian invasion of Ionia. Their deaths were fair game to Mordekaiser as they died by Noxian hands or their allies. Many that survived the revelation of being in Mitna Rachun were reduced to puddles of souls when they realized how Mordekaiser was, however inadvertently, responsible for Noxus' creation. And that only continued as more Ionians came to Mitna Rachun for, even though the Ionian people still hold much of their land, there is still Noxians-held territories in Ionia and frequent clashes between Ionian resistance groups and Noxian soldiers ensured a frequent supply of souls arriving from Ionia to Mitna Rachun. However, despite the disgust of her people, Keira was still loyal to Mordekaiser for he showed he deserved that loyalty.

Since her coming to Mitna Rachun, Mordekaiser has shown his absolute dedication to these people. He kept his word to the letter. He gave praise where it was due. And he always shows a fair hand, no matter one's place in his empire. Never once has he given her reason to doubt her loyalty to him. And never once has he done anything to give her reason to believe he is like those that rule Noxus, even now. No, Mordekaiser was someone she can have faith in. Not like those in charge of Ionia, whose policies of peace have led to countless Ionian deaths at the hands of their invaders. Not like those that rule Noxus and pretend they actually care for their people. No, he was someone she can respect. That deserved her loyalty. If only her family can see that, but she'll never know as she knew that they didn't survive the revelation of arriving at Mitna Rachun. The arrival to Mitna Rachun broke them and reduce their minds, forcing them to become either building material for Mordekaiser's empire or creatures of war for Mordekaiser's army.

Feeling a slight twinge of where her heart was when she was alive, Keira thought of her only living relative left and wondered how she would react to all this. Their family fate. Her loyalty to the man responsible for Noxus becoming a reality. And her fate as a ghost.

Then, as if fate has some cruel sense of humor, Keira has an answer to that very thought. For, when she arrived at the waterfall, Keira did a double take when she saw that her only living relative was there, meditating.

Sitting on a rock in the middle of the pond made by the waterfall, lay a young woman in a meditation stance, one leg over the other and her arms on her knees. Dressed in a form-fitting body suit that was a mix of both elegant robes and battle armor colored in a distinctive palette of red, pink, black, and silver, the woman was dressed well and her long black hair went down to her, admittedly, wide hips. The woman's eyes were currently closed, but Keira knew that they would be sea green as those were the eyes of her family before they all died in the Noxian invasion. What her eye color was before she died long ago.

Looking at the woman in a meditative stance, Keira sighed before venturing closer only stopping when the woman opened her eyes, revealing her, as Keira predicted, sea-green eyes. Looking at the ghost before her, the woman let loose a small gasp of surprise before they narrowed in suspicion and anger.

Getting up, the woman summoned several blades around her that surrounded her, eager to protect their master. Keira, seeing this, spoke.

"You've mastered our dances quite well, my niece." Said Keira as she sensed the magic coming from the blades and the woman. "And your connection to the spirit world is unlike anything I've ever seen before from our people. It's truly remarkable." While Keira had a non-hostile tone, the woman before her had one.

"I'm no niece of yours, monster." Said the woman as she glared at the wraith before her, tone full of anger and hostility. She didn't know why, but this monster, this wraith, had a sense of familiarity that she sensed and couldn't understand. She didn't like it or its implications. "What are you?" Upon hearing that, Keira sighed as she realized that her niece didn't know of her. Not knowing whether to be sad or angry at this, Keira spoke up.

"I am your aunt, Xan Irelia." Said Keira as she looked at her niece, the one responsible for turning the tide of the Noxian Invasion ten years ago, Xan Irelia, the Blade Dancer. "I am Xan Keira. Sister to your father, Xan Lito." Upon hearing that, Irelia recoiled in shock and disbelief, refusing to believe what she said. Keira, however, floated calmy as she waited for her niece to respond, feeling something as she waited. Something like…hope? Or anxiety?
