Alright! Jaden meets Yuya! Expect sparks to fly! Leo also learns a VERY hard and nasty truth.

Now, I need to address something. Arc-V's ban list or rather, its lack of one. In my headcanon for this story, Arc-V never had game breaking cards like Pot of Greed or Card Destruction. They always had cards that had drawbacks to them or offset by a negative. The D/D/D cards for example; Life Point Cost.

That is why Jaden and Kaiba were shocked by. The card game in Arc-V did not develop like it did in GX. But that will be changing a bit soon. Especially in this duel.

A few days had passed since Jaden's defeat of Sylvio. Despite the loss, Leo was still considered the premiere duel school for the city. But that didn't matter to the students of Central. They were still learning at their own pace.

Jaden been told about this Duel-tainment and had been curious. Kaiba had been as well. Leaving his little brother in charge, the pair went to go investigate. They were joined by the Central Top, the GX crew opting to stay behind.

"Someone has to make sure no more crazy shit happens while you guys are gone." Fiona pointed out, making them all nod.

Now, here they were. In front of them was a building, dotted with rock climbing walls around the outside. A slide acted as the exit. The main building itself was split into three sections. The first was a large L shape, no doubt where the dueling and actual classes took place. The second section was a fenced in area where they could hear several kids at. The final section was a large tube of some kind.

Kaiba looked at the school with a critical eye.

"Did someone just randomly think up a building plan and go with it?" Kaiba asked, eye twitching a little.

"Given what we know about this 'Duel-Taining', Mister Kaiba, it stands to reason the way the school is made is to promote training for it." Bastion pointed out. "Though granted, we don't know much."

Well, no use standing around. They all went in and were greeted by Zuzu. Her eyes went wide at seeing the group.

"Oh! Bastion, Syrus, Alexis, Chazz! Welcome to You Show Duel School! What brings you all here?" Zuzu asked, stepping out from behind the desk.

The four waved, Jaden and Kaiba waiting to be introduced. Syrus saw this and quickly moved.

"This is Jaden Yuki from the duel yesterday and Seto Kaiba, the founder of the Duel Academy schools." Syrus said, smiling.

Both men gave slight nods. Zuzu waved. They explained that they were here to investigate Duel-taining. Zuzu beamed at hearing that. Of course it was interrupted by the appearance of a man.

"Did someone say they wanted to enroll!?" The man said boisterously.

He had dark blue eyes and brown/orange hair. He wore a red/orange jumpsuit with a green trim and red fire design. Underneath the jacket was a dark blue shirt with another fire design. Around his neck was a white whistle. Everyone jumped back at the sight of the man.

Seeing this, Zuzu pulled out a large paper fan and proceeded to strike the man several times over the head.

"They. Are. Not. Here. To. Enroll! They're here to just see what Duel-Tainment is all about!" Zuzu snarled. "Forgive my dad...he's always trying to get more people to come to the school. Between Leo and the rest...its a tough gig."

There was more then one dueling school? The thought of that shocked everyone. Yuya then came down a pole, looking around. Spotting Zuzu, he rushed up to them.

"Hey, Zuzu! I-wow! Guys, its good to see you! Uh, I know you, Mister Yuki, due to the duel, but who are you?" Yuya asked, pointing at Seto Kaiba.

Seto introduced himself. He was the owner of Kaiba Corporation and founder of the Duel Academies, the central one being the one that showed up. Yuya laughed in delight, eyes sparkling. When he found out why they were here, he grew even more excited.

"I can show you! Me and Gong were about to start training again anyways!"

That was acceptable to the group. The man from before recovered and introduced himself. He was Skip Boyle, Zuzu's father. They went to the dueling arena where they saw three children waiting.

"Hey everyone! These are the people from Central we were telling you guys about! Everyone meet Fredrick, Allie, and Tate!" Zuzu said, introducing the three.

Fredrick was a young boy with spiky blonde hair. He wore oversized orange shorts and a yellow-green top with a hood. The shorts were held in place by straps over his shoulders. His blue and yellow shoes have three protrusions each, making them resemble reptilian feet.

"Guten Morgen!" Fredrick said with a wave.

Allie was a red-headed girl with fair skin, golden eyes and a large multi-colored headband. She wore a short cream t-shirt with a striped pink and red long t-shirt. Allie's attire also consisted of a red skirt and long black tights. She was wearing brown shoes and has a blue bracelet. She gave a slight wave.

Tate was a fair skinned young boy with blue hair and shoes. He wore a white short sleeved shirt and brown vest, along with a watch and short khaki pants. His purplish-gray eyes lit up at the sight of the group.

Everyone took up places, looking down at Yuya and Gong start their duel. Kaiba was interested in the ARC system. Skip was happy to explain it to him. Jaden watched, arms crossed. Duel-tainment was...something else. He watched Yuya jumping around and preforming all sorts of acrobatic stunts.

However, what he announced next drew EVERYONE'S attention.

"I set the pendulum scale with my scale one Timegazer Magician and my scale eight Stargazer Magician! I'm taking control of this duel now!" Yuya shouted, setting two cards.

The cards were placed in odd zones, the word PENDULUM showing up between them. Two magicians appeared in a tower of blue, a one and eight under them.

"With the scale set, I can summon monsters whose level are two through seven all at once! Swing far Pendulum! Carve the arc of Victory! My monsters are ready! TO SWING INTO ACTION!"

A portal opened and from it came four beams of light. A dragon, swordfish, hippo, and snake appeared from the beams. Chazz's jaw dropped.

"He just...he summoned four monsters at once?!" Chazz gasped out.

"Pendulum summoning..." Kaiba muttered, staring. "Pegasus would love to see this..."

Pegasus? Syrus explained. Maximillian Pegasus J Crawford was the father of the Duel Monsters game from where they were from. He was always looking for new ideas for cards and game mechanics. They recently started learning about Synchro Summoning.

"Whoa..." Alexis whispered, staring. "This could change how dueling is done."

GXROD

After the duel, Gong was congratulating Yuya on mastering the new summoning method, they had retreated to the outdoor lunch room. Kaiba was talking with Skip once more, this time about the summoning. The kids were talking about what they wanted to do. Unknown to them, below, Declan Akaba was in disguise and listening to them.

"All of you want to be pros and bring smiles to everyone?" Alexis asked, looking at them all.

"Yeah huh!" Allie said. "Yuya's dad is a big inspiration to a lot of people! Everyone wants to try duel-taining thanks to him!"

"Heh, son of a pro huh?" Chazz said smirking. "That sounds familiar."

That had the You Show students confused. Bastion, ever the tactful one, laughed.

"Quite! Jaden here is the son of Jack Yuki, a former pro!"

Several things happened.

Declan perked up at hearing that Jaden was the son of a former Pro. He quickly left, a plan forming in his head. Alexis shot to her feet, slapping Bastion across the face. Everyone was confused at the reaction, not seeing Jaden's bangs hiding his eyes.

Yuya got excited, jumping up and rushing to the boy.

"Really!? Did your dad inspire you too! That is so cool! It must be awesome, walking in your dad's footsteps! I bet he's proud! Hey, how alike are y-URK!"

Alexis whirled around, seeing Jaden's hand wrapped around Yuya's throat. Gong rushed toward the pair, but a sudden backblast of wind made him go sailing head over ass into a wall. Zuzu stood frozen in shock, the three kids whimpering in fear.

Jaden slammed Yuya against the wall, lifting him up. Yuya's one open eye went wide. The golden orbs of Jaden's were glowing brightly. The whites bled into black, making the shine grow in intensity. An ugly snarl upon his face.

"I am NOTHING like my donor! I am WORSE! He doesn't make me happy, he makes me PUKE! He can rot in the deepest, darkest pits of HELL for all I care! If you EVER compare me to him ever again, I will utterly and totally destroy you and all those that follow this so-called duel-taining!" Jaden snarled.

Dropping the boy, Jaden spun around. Storming away, he ignored the Central Top. Alexis shot a glare at the downed Bastion, rushing after him. Chazz sighed, helping the boy up.

"For a guy who claims to be smart, you sure can be stupid." Chazz griped.

"What was that all about?!" Gong demanded, standing up.

Syrus glared at the taller boy, making the him step back some. That was not their story to tell. That was Jaden's tale to tell and Jaden's alone.

"All I can say is this. Not everyone's family has a happy history to it, Yuya. You'd be wise to remember that." Syrus said, leaving with Chazz and Bastion.

The You Show students were a tad worried. What was so horrible that Jaden would hate his own father? It made no sense to Yuya. No sense at all.

GXROD

Declan was waiting in an alleyway. Her heard footsteps and peered around the corner. He saw four people walking his way. His mother and the top three summoning experts of Leo. Stepping out, he stopped his mother.

"Mother, slight change in plans." He said.

"What?" Henrietta asked.

Declan explained that the Central students were at You Show, learning about Duel-Taining. Hearing that, the three kids grew angry.

"Is that Yuki kid with them?" A girl snarled.

Declan nodded, making their scowls turn to grins. He told them the plan. If they dueled Jaden, he wanted them to praise his father. The father was a pro duelist. His name? Jack Yuki. The trio nodded. If the game went according to plan, they'd duel the one that defeated one of theirs.

Henrietta smirked. This plan of her son's was flawless.

GXROD

"WHAT?!" came the cry from the You Show school.

Jaden, still fuming over what Yuya had said, stopped. Alexis, arm wrapped around his, did the same. They looked at one another and sighed. Best go find out what the hell was going on.

They entered a conference room to see a woman and three kids with her. Yuya looked at Jaden, opening his mouth. Alexis glared at him, making him snap it shut. Clearly, not the best time.

"You heard correctly, Mister Boyle. Leo Corporation is looking to acquire the You Show Duel School and the new summoning method." Henrietta said.

"That's a lot of bull! Leo Corporation does not hold exclusive rights to any summoning method, new or old!" Skip roared back, mindful of the younger ears.

Be that as it may, Leo Corp was bound and determined to have the one school that produced the duelist who beat the Hammer, a former Alum of Leo or barring that, the summoning method itself. However, they were not non-sporting types. You Show could have a chance if their students or visitors could best their three. Skip was quick to accept.

The Central Top just stayed off to the side, Kaiba glaring at the woman. This was a set-up. Clearly, they were smarting from Sylvio's horrendous loss to Jaden and taking it out on You Show.

The three duels were decided. They needed a best two out of three win to take over both the school and the summoning. Three duels would be done right after another.

"The first up will be Dipper O'rion."

Chazz snorted. Seriously, that was the guy's name?!

Dipper was slim and tall with purple hair that had a gold pin in the shape of the Big Dipper asterism, and blue eyes. Wearing a zip-up blue and purple jacket over a white long-sleeved shirt, with white pants, olive-colored shoes, and a loose blue belt. His LID badge was pinned on the right side of his jacket. He also has a frame with a star underneath his hairline.

Yuya stepped up. The two went to the arena with Skip taking the controls. The action field was chosen, Cosmic Sanctuary. The duel began and right away, Central was disgusted at the Leo student. Arrogant to a T, his monster effects of returning monsters to the hand nearly got Yuya hurt!

"Jeez, really?!" Bastion cried out. "If you kill Yuya, your school will lose the summoning method..."

"Not to mention how this could affect Leo's reputation that they killed the son of Yusho Sakai." Kaiba pointed out, watching the duel.

Henrietta winced. Declan had great respect for the man and if the son did die or get seriously injured...Dipper wouldn't survive the fallout. Yuya managed to turn the duel around and win, much to the other LID students shock. Jaden just glared silently.

The next duel was announced. Zuzu versus Julia. The two girls went down to the arena.

Still sensing his rage, Alexis entwined his hand with hers, but it was barely calming him down. Yuya asking about his donor and comparing him to that man had made the dying flame become a raging inferno once more. He appreciated Alexis trying though.

The next duel began. Their field was a large glistening arena of crystal called Crystal Corridor. Jaden barely watched the duel, just trying to calm down his rage.

Zuzu had lost, thanks to Julia getting into her head. Gong was the final one and he was against a duelist by the name of Kit Blade. The field?

Sword's Cemetery.

Kit had shown his prowess as a Synchro user, summoning out several monsters on his first turn. Gong stood his ground, starting his turn. Jaden watched as he played Superheavy Samurai monsters. Yuya told them all that Gong had no spell or traps in his deck, making it a monster only deck. Jaden's eyes went wide.

"Not many duelists can use that style of deck." He muttered to himself.

Alexis smiled, glad that Jaden was enjoying the duel. Sadly, the duel ended in a draw between both Gong and Kit. With a win of one, loss of one, and one draw, the bet was no long in effect.

Henreitta disagreed.

"Perhaps one of the duelists here can provide a hail mary for you, Mister Boyle. Perhaps...mister Yuki?"

"You already saw him duel." Alexis spat.

True, but he had used a deck that didn't really showcase his skills. How could they believe that he had was taught to duel honorably from the school? Kaiba glared at her.

"Are you accusing him of cheating?!" Kaiba spat.

"If the shoe fits." She waved off.

Jaden glared at the woman, calmly shrugging Alexis' arm off. He stormed up the woman, his eyes a darker shade of gold. Clearly, his rage from Yuya's comment was still boiling.

"I face all three of these so called specialists of yours. Because of that, I will have three times the normal amount of life points. I lose, you get You Show and Pendulum summons as well as me. I win, you not only drop this crusade, but you have that Sylvio creep leave Alexis or any girl of Central alone." Jaden stated, a cold even tone.

Kaiba flinched. Seeing that, Chazz looked at him in confusion. The man would explain later. Henreitta agreed to the terms. Jaden and her shook on the terms. Jaden walked down to the arena. Dipper and Julia joined Kit.

"This duel will be three versus one! Duelists, you cannot attack until all duelists have concluded their turns. Due to it being three versus one, Jaden Yuki will have three times the amount of life points instead!" Kaiba announced.

"So that means he'll have twenty-four thousand life points." Julia remarked.

"Doesn't matter. We know his deck. He can't beat us." Dipper said arrogantly.

"Correction. You only saw ONE of my decks." Jaden sneered, pulling out a deck with a large H on it. He made some adjustments to it before slotting the deck in.

The three, seeing this, did the same. The decks were shuffled automatically. They drew their opening hands. The trio looked at each other and nodded. They'd wait until Jaden's turn before complimenting his father.

The action field randomizer activated. It landed on a bright neon like world. Jaden watched it come to life, frowning. The trio said some chant, but Jaden ignored it.

Julia: 8000/Dipper: 8000/Kit: 8000/Jaden: 24,000

There was a snap of fingers and several action cards scattered across the field.

"So who will start?" Dipper asked.

"That is for you three to decide. I will be going last." Jaden declared.

The trio looked at one another and then nodded. Kit would go first, Julia, then Dipper. Jaden just shrugged. Kit started off. Since he couldn't draw, he looked over his hand. Seeing a card, he grabbed it, placing it on his MZ.

"I first summon out Double X Saber Boggart Knight in attack mode!"

(XX-Saber Boggart Knight – LV, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/1900, DEF/1000, Type/Beast-Warrior/Effect.

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "X-Saber" monster from your hand. Cannot be used as a Synchro Material, except for the Synchro Summon of an "X-Saber" Synchro Monster.)

A man in silver armor and cape appeared, drawing a sword. Kit smirked. Thanks to Boggart being summoned, he was allowed to special summon a level four or lower double X Saber from his hand. Revealing the card, he placed it on another MZ.

"I play Double X Saber Fulhelmknight in attack mode!"

(XX-Saber Fulhelmknight – LV, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/1300, DEF/1000, Type/Warrior/Tuner/Effect.

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "X-Saber" monster from your hand. Cannot be used as a Synchro Material, except for the Synchro Summon of an "X-Saber" Synchro Monster.)

Fulhelmknight was a short blonde man, wearing black and orange armor, a red cloak behind him. He smirked at Jaden, the king not reacting. Revealing another card, Kit placed it in his MZ.

"Thanks to me having TWO double X-saber monsters, I can special summon from my hand double X-Saber Faultroll!"

(XX-Saber Faultroll – LV, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/2400, DEF/1800, Type/Warrior/Effect.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by controlling 2 or more face-up "X-Saber" monsters, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn: You can target 1 Level 4 or lower "X-Saber" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target.)

Faultroll was a man dressed in crimson armor and holding a greatsword. Fulhelm became three rings.

"I tune my level three Fulhelmknight to Boggart Knight!"

3 + 4 = 7

"I synchro Summon! Arise, level seven X-Saber Souza!" Kit cried out.

(X-Saber Souza – LV/*******, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/2500, DEF/1700, Type/Warrior/Synchro/Effect.

1 Tuner 1 or more non-Tuner "X-Saber" monsters
You can Tribute 1 "X-Saber" monster, then choose 1 of these effects; this card gains that effect until the end of this turn.
At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles an opponent's monster: Destroy that monster.
This card cannot be destroyed by Trap effects.)

Souza was a large man, dressed in silver armor, adorned with a red cape and carrying two swords. Kit explained Faultroll's effect. He was allowed to revive a monster from his graveyard. Fulhelmknight returned.

"Once more, I tune Fulhelm to Faultroll!"

3 + 6 = 9

"I synchro summon! Double X-Saber Gottoms!"

(XX-Saber Gottoms – LV/*********, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/3100, DEF/2600, Type/Warrior/Synchro/Effect.

1 Tuner 1 EARTH monsters
You can Tribute 1 "X-Saber" monster; discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand.)

Gottoms was a fully armored monster carrying a massive broadsword. A cape wove around him. Kit smirked.

"I'll set this card facedown for later." Kit said, turning to Julia. "You're up, Julia."

The girl nodded. She drew a card. Seeing it was her trademark spell, she revealed it.

"I activate Gem-Knight Fusion! I fuse Gem-Knight Alexandrite, Gem-Knight Emerald, and Gem-Knight Tourmaline to fusion summon a brilliant gem! Arise! Gem-Knight Master Diamond in attack mode!"

(Gem-Knight Master Diamond – LV/*********, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/2900 300 3200, DEF/2500, Type/Rock/Fusion/Effect.

3 "Gem-Knight" monsters
Must first be Fusion Summoned. This card gains 100 ATK for each "Gem-" monster in your Graveyard. Once per turn: You can banish 1 Level 7 or lower "Gem-Knight" Fusion Monster from your Graveyard; until the End Phase, this card's name becomes that monster's, and replace this effect with that monster's original effects.)

The massive monster appeared, roaring. Julia smirked. Nothing was stronger then diamond. Here, Chazz scoffed.

"Try saying that when you face down a Divine Beast monster." He stated.

That comment drew Henrietta's attention. Divine Beast? What was that?

She was ignored, but the Central Top just smirked.

Julia ended her turn. Dipper drew his card. Checking his hand, he smirked.

"I'll summon out my Constellar Algiedi in attack mode!"

(Constellar Algiedi – LV/****, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/1600, DEF/1400, Type/Spellcaster/Effect.

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 "Constellar" monster from your hand.)

Algiedi was a masked monster, carrying a staff. Dipper used its effect to summon out another Constellar monster. He summoned out Constellar Klaus from his hand.

(Constellar Klaus – LV/****, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/1800, DEF/1700, Type/Beast-Warrior/Effect.

Cannot be used as a Synchro Material. Up to twice per turn: You can target 1 "Constellar" monster on the field, then activate 1 of these effects;
Increase its Level by 1.
Reduce its Level by 1.)

Klaus looked like a centaur dressed in silver armor, carrying a bow. Dipper explained its effect. He could increase the level of a Constellar monster twice a turn. He increased the level of Klaus and Algiedi to five.

Klaus – LV/**** - *****

Algiedi – LV/**** - *****

"Now, I overlay both my level five monsters to build the overlay network! I xyz summon! Constellar Pleadias!"

(Constellar Pleadias – Rank/*****, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/2500, DEF/1500, Type/Warrior/Xyz/Effect.

2 Level 5 LIGHT monsters
Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 card on the field; return that target to the hand.)

Pleadias was large man draped in silver and gold armor. Two small orbs of light orbited him. Dipper smirked, ending his turn.

Jaden merely drew. At that, Kit enacted the plan.

"So your dad was a pro too? Jack Yuki right?" Kit asked.

Jaden tensed at hearing his father's name. Seeing this, Julia smirked.

"Guess its true then. Apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. He clearly got his father's good looks and dueling skills."

Alexis snarled, hearing the girl both flirting and praising her boyfriend's donor. Kaiba's eyes snapped to Henrietta's. All the woman did was give a smirk.

Those idiots! Don't they realize what they are doing bring THAT topic up!? No, no, they don't realize because they don't fucking know! Kaiba thought, clenching his fist.

"I'll say. Cheap way to win or not, you sure did show Sylvio. Guess your father taught you well. Think we can meet one day? Meet the man who made you?" Dipper asked. "Maybe get his autograph."

The three continued to praise Jack Yuki. Skip's eyes blinked. There was a crack appearing on the window.

"How'd that get the-YIKES!" Skip began, only to exclaim in shock.

The crack got bigger all of the sudden. Kaiba felt sweat drip down his face. There was an unnatural chill in the air. Seeing the cracks, he grabbed Skip and pulled him to the floor.

"GET DOWN!" Seto roared.

Not wasting any time, Alexis, Syrus, Chazz, and Bastion dove to the floor. Henrietta's face took on a look of confusion until the window cracked ominously. Eyes widening, she did the same.

Yuya and the others all dove to the ground, covering the three kids.

"Vhat is going on?! I have zhe goose pimples! Nein, zhe goose pimples have zhe goose pimples!" Fredrick bemoaned.

Below, the three were oblivious to what had just happened. Instead, they continued to praise Jack.

"Well, what can you expect? Like father, like son!" Julia said happily.

That was the final straw. The trio felt a shiver run down their spines. They looked at one another, confused. At that exact moment, the windows upstairs blew inwards, glass raining down on occupants within. After the glass shower ended, Kaiba stood up.

"Anyone hurt!" He roared, his blue eyes snapping to the students.

At confirmations of them being fine, Kaiba stood up and looked out the window. Taking a sharp breath, his eyes became pinpricks. The oppressive aura in the air was thick and heavy. The three, covering their faces from a rather sudden windstorm uncovered.

They looked at the source.

Jaden Yuki's face was expressionless. No smile. No frown. Just lips pressed into a thin line. But his eyes...his eyes were wide, the golden orbs pinpricks. But they glowed with sinister light. Fear gripped not just the hearts of the three duelists, but their monster's too. The four monsters on the field all took a single step back in terror.

"W-what is this..." Julia whispered.

"Hard to...hard to breathe." Kit gasped out.

"H-h-h-hey! Stop it man! You're...you're freaking me out!" Dipper whined.

The silence from Jaden was deafening. Hidden from view, Declan watched it all. Something buzzed in his hear. Tapping it, he listened to the other end.

"SIR! Duel Energy output from You Show is climbing rapidly! Students Julia, Kit, and Dipper are NOT the cause! They are only excluding a DEO of two hundred and twenty-five combined!"

"What is the DEO of the fourth member? Jaden Yuki." Declan asked, intrigued.

"Ten thousand and climbing rapidly! It's outpacing anything we ever saw! The computers can't keep up!"

Declan's eyes went wide. A DEO of ten thousand!? Coming from this boy of all things?! Human's could only generate a DEO of seventy-five! What...what was this boy?!

The aura changed. It went from calm to a raging gale. A dome of pure purplish-black energy appeared around Jaden. Alexis cried out, seeing the pillar of darkness.

"JADEN! PLEASE! DON'T!" She pleaded.

"Asuka! He can't! They woke IT up!" Yubel cried out.

Outside, the cloudless sky became black and heavy. Crimson lightning crackled and split the air. The earth trembled at the Duel Energy being released. The dome slowly shrank inwards. When it fully retracted, it became a gem on a black suit of armor.

A suit of armor not seen in a long while.

The armor was black and gold medieval knight-esque armor with six tendril-like spikes. Two of the spikes were jutting out of the armor's back and four jutting out of the shoulders, a headdress with a tall collar and a floor-length red cape. Covering his face was a black helmet that held six spikes on it, giving off the appearance of a crown.

Bastion, Syrus, and Chazz's eyes went wide.

"Oh." Chazz started.

"Holy." Syrus added.

"Fuck." Bastion finished.

Henrietta got to her feet. Peering out the window, she froze. Staring at the black armored person, she shivered. Her very soul seemed to recoil from the being and the darkness the figure excluded.

"I summon forth Evil Hero Infernal Prodigy." A twisted and coarse voice said, echoing.

A tiny imp appeared, serious faced for once. Dipper reacted.

"I use one overlay unit to activate Pleadias effect! I return that monster to your hand!" Dipper boasted.

The being just returned the card. Julia and Kit sighed in relief, only to gasp when the monster returned.

"You are a damn fool, Dipper O'rion. Infernal Prodigy allows me to special summon it from my hand if I control no monsters. THAT is what I did the first time around. You wasted your monster's effect." Haou snarled.

Haou revealed grabbed two cards. One he placed facedown, the other he revealed. It was a spell card, Card Destruction.

(Card Destruction – Type/Spell/Normal/Effect.

Both players discard as many cards as possible from their hands, then each player draws the same number of cards they discarded.)

The spell card forced everyone to throw out their hands. Haou drew four more cards, Dipper four, Julia two, and Kit two. Haou's grave glowed. A single card came out.

"This is the effect of my Evil HERO Sinister Necrom. By banishing him, I special summon Evil HERO Malicious Edge from my deck." Haou explained.

He revealed his facedown spell to be Card of Sanctity. Everyone drew until they had six cards. Haou used another monster effect, Evil HERO Captain Gold. By discarding him, he was allowed to gain Dark Fusion.

"DARK Fusion?!" Julia cried out.

"Yes...which I now play. I fuse Evil HEROes Infernal Prodigy, Malicious Edge, and finally, Evil HERO Talon. With the powers of Darkness and Evil, I merge these Heroes of wickedness into a truly fearsome sight. I Fusion Summon. Evil HERO Blightmare!"

(Evil HERO Blightmare – LV/*******, Attribute/DARK, ATK/2500, DEF/3000, Type/Fiend/Fusion/Effect.

"Malicious Edge" + 1 "Evil HERO" monster + 1 Fiend Monster

Must be Summoned by Fusion Summon. Can only be summoned by 'Dark Fusion'. When this card is summoned, your opponent sends cards from their deck to the GY equal to the combined sum of all monster levels in play. You can Tribute this card. Special Summon from your GY, the fusion material monsters used to summon this card. They cannot attack.)

Blightmare was a green skinned hero, covered in obsidian armor. A pair of axes were in its hand. It cackled like mad, throwing one of the Axes at Kit.

"What the!?"

"It's Blighmare's effect. It forces you to send cards to your grave equal to the combined sum of all monster levels in play." Haou said coldly. "You have nine, seven, and nine again. That means twenty-five cards are sent from your decks to the graves."

"WHAT?!" The trio called out.

The axe cleaved through their decks, the twenty-five cards flying into the graveyards. Haou merely regarded the trio before him.

"I use Blightmare's effect. By tributing him, I regain the three fusion materials I used to the field. They cannot attack though."

Blightmare took its other axe and cut its own head off. It collapsed into ooze, Edge, Prodigy, and Talon jumping from the pool.

Up in the stands, the Central Top gasped.

"Oh boy..." Syrus whispered.

"What? What is it?!" Henrietta demanded.

"By the pricking of our thumbs, a Wicked God this way comes." Bastion quipped.

"NOT FUNNY." Alexis snarled.

The residents of LID and You Show looked confused. A Wicked God? What did they mean by that!

"I sacrifice Edge, Talon and Prodigy." Haou's voice cut through. "Behold a power so great, it blocks out even the light of righteousness itself. Steeped in the sins of Humanity, blessed by the Darkness itself, consume everything in your black hellfire...WICKED ERASER!"

(The Wicked Eraser – LV/**********, Attribute/DIVINE, ATK/?, DEF/?, Type/Divine-Beast/Effect.

When this card is attacked by a monster with lower Divine Hierarchy, you can negate the attack. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Return this card to the location it was Special Summoned from. Other Cards effects last only 1 turn. This card has a Divine Hierarchy of 1. The ATK and DEF of this card are equal to the number of cards your opponent control x 1000. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, send all cards on the field to the Graveyard.)

The earth of the simulated field cracked open. Black fire consumed the three monsters. There was several eruptions all around the four. Julia, Kit and Dipper rushed around, avoiding the pillars of fire. The pillars all bent toward one another, becoming a portal.

No, not a portal. It was becoming a body. The mass of black fire slithered down to where Haou stood. Coiling around him, eyes of red opened, flashing. The tail formed first, slamming into the earth. This caused many chunks of earth to go flying into the air. Deftly jumping on the rocks flying upward, Haou reached the top.

Landing on a silver head, Haou turned back. A pair of black wings unfurled themselves, revealing a large serpent like dragon. It screeched a roar. The screech made the monsters all fly further back.

"What is THAT?!" Henrietta's voice came, hysterical.

"That is a Wicked God Monster. The Wicked Eraser." Bastion said, glaring down. "A divine-beast..."

"SIR! Our computers are overloading down here! What has been played! The energy output of the duelist has exceeded a million! The card DE output is matching it!" Declan's ear buzzed.

There was the sound of electrical explosions happening in the background. Was that card...responsible for it?

There was that term again. Divine-Beast. What was a Divine-Beast monster? Haou continued his turn. Explaining Eraser's effect of it gaining a thousand points times the number of cards they had, they watched the counter rise swiftly.

Eraser – ATK/0 - 5000, DEF/0 - 5000

"Okay, that is one powerful monster." Julia whispered.

"We can take it!" Kit boasted.

"YEAH!" Dipper agreed.

Haou just continued. He revealed a spell card. Equivalent Exchange.

(Equivalent Exchange – Type/Spell/Normal/Effect. Select 1 card in your hand and give it to your opponent. They then must give you a card of the same type. (If the cards are discarded or destroyed, they are placed in the original owner's graveyard))

Haou chose a single card. Tossing the card at Julia, she saw it was Cursed Twin Dolls. She threw Brilliant Fusion toward him. Haou caught it, only to play another spell card. Trap Booster.

Discarding Brill Fusion to Julia's grave, he activated Forced Casting.

(Forced Casting – Type/Trap/Normal/Effect. Declare 1 spell card's name. If the opponent has it in their hand, they must play it.)

"I declare Cursed Twin Dolls." Haou stated coldly.

Julia grimaced, playing the card. The two dolls appeared, carrying boxes.

(Cursed Twin Dolls – Type/Spell/Continuous/Effect.

Your opponent randomly selects and receives 1 of the following effects, while you automatically receive the other effect:
Gain 200 Life Points for each card sent to either player's Graveyard.
Each monster in your Graveyard is treated as 1 monster you control, without counting toward your 5 Monster Card Zone limit. Those monsters cannot attack or be attacked, cannot activate their effects, cannot be used as a cost, cannot be removed from the Graveyard, are unaffected by the effects of Spells, Traps, and Effect Monsters, and their effects are negated. Also remove from play all Spell and Trap Cards in your Graveyard. Each Spell and Trap Card removed by this effect counts as 1 Spell/Trap you control without counting toward your 5 Spell/Trap Card Zone limit. Cards cannot be sent from your hand, Deck, Fusion Deck, or field to your Graveyard by card effects. If your Monster Card Zones are unused, your opponent's monsters can attack you directly.)

The spirits saw Haou and shivered.

"Red has Curse."

"Black has Gift."

Haou nodded. He chose the black box. Explaining the gift, the trio watched as the cards they were forced to discard were back, floating in the air. Haou ended his turn.

"What?!" LID said as one.

"My facedown...He must have been chased off by it!" Kit said, delighted.

"Careful, that thing still has five thousand attack points." Julia pointed out.

"No problem! I use Pleadias effect! I detach one overlay unit and that card goes bye bye!" Dipper shouted, using the effect.

The orb vanished, Pleadias summoning a portal. It opened before Eraser, acting as a black hole. But Eraser just snarled, unamused. It's claws grabbed the sides of the portal, forcing it close with little effort on its part. The act shocked the trio.

"WHAT?! THAT SHOULD HAVE SENT THAT MONSTER BACK TO THE HAND!" Henrietta screeched.

"You are truly foolish. Divine-Beast monsters are unaffected by monsters whose divine level is...zero." Haou stated coldly.

Kaiba nodded. Only another Divine-Beast monster could best Eraser or even affect it. Eraser snarled, glaring at the three. Haou just crossed his arms, eyes of his faceplate flashing.

He was waiting.

Kit looked at his hand before drawing his wooden sword. A quick swipe, an Action card flew into the air. He grabbed it, smirking. It was just what he needed.

"Julia, Dipper! Find more Action Spells! Help me out!"

At the confirmations, the two rushed off. Haou watched them, head tilted to the side. The pair grabbed some Action Spells, smirking at what they were seeing.

"Kit! We got em!"

"Alright! I'll start things off with my Action Spell, Extreme Sword!"

(Action Spell – Extreme Sword – Type/Spell/Normal/Effect.

Target 1 monster on the field; it gains 1000 ATK during the Battle Phase only.)

"I select my Gottoms for this power up!" Kit roared.

Gottoms – ATK/3100 + 1000 - 4100

"And we're not stopping there! We play our own Extreme Swords too!" Julia cried out, Dipper doing the same.

"We choose Kit's Gottoms!"

Gottoms – ATK/4100 + 2000 - 6100

"Now Gottoms is stronger then your Eraser! ATTACK!" Kit roared.

Up in the control room, Kaiba shook his head.

"Damn fools walked right into the trap." He said. "But then again...you lot don't have Divine-Beast monsters it seems."

That had Henrietta confused. Trap? What trap? She turned back to the duel, watching as Gottoms charged at the winged monster. Haou watched the approaching gnat with disinterest.

The blade became covered in golden fire. Gottoms pointed it down at the monster and fired a beam. The beam struck Eraser in the chest, exploding.

"Oh no!" Tate shouted. "That means Eraser lost!"

"No, its not." Alexis said.

Everyone looked at her save for the Central Top. Eraser gained a thousand attack points for each and every card on the field. Sora looked at her, a slight scowl on his face.

"So what? Gottoms had six thousand and one hundred attack points. Eraser had five thousand. Due to the five cards, the four monsters and the one facedown."

"No, there are currently eighty-three cards on the field." She replied.

THAT made everyone snap their heads to her. That was impossible! Only ten cards apiece could be on the field. Chazz chuckled bitterly.

"Not when Cursed Twin Dolls is in play." The boy said.

The card's curse made it so every card that was in the trio's graveyard was brought back to the field. Monsters cannot attack, defend, Spells and traps just float useless. Thanks to the twenty-five cards each of them sent, that was seventy-five cards.

The four monsters and one facedown made eighty. The actions spells they had used? Eighty-three.

"Gottoms just attacked a monster whose power grows from every card on the field." Zuzu said, dawning horror on her face.

"But...that means it doesn't have five thousand points..." Gong whispered.

A screeching cry made everyone gaze up at the cloud of smoke. The smoke was blown away by the wings of the monster, eyes flashing red. There was no visible damage done to it.

Eraser – ATK/5000 - 0 - 83,000

Shock was not everyone from You Show and LID was feeling. Utter disbelief was the term used. Kit, Dipper, and Julia stared at the beast, roaring its roar. Black fire gathered in its mouth. Kit, sensing the danger, quickly rushed to another Action Spell. He grabbed it, smirking.

"I play the Action Spell Evasion!"

(Action Spell – Evasion – Type/Spell/Normal/Effect.

When a monster declares an attack: Target that monster; negate the attack. You can activate this Action Spell if your opponent's monster counter attacks.)

Henrietta's face broke into a smirk. That spell would negate the counter attack this Eraser was unleashing. That smirk turned to shock as the monster let loose its attack.

"WHAT?! But Evasion makes it possible evade a counter attack as well!" She cried out.

"Once again, the rules are different for a Divine-Beast. Monster, Spell, Traps, they are unaffected by them." Bastion stated, arms crossed. "Even the most powerful of spells and traps only last a single round against them."

Kit watched the black fires rush to consume Gottoms. The monster groaned, the power overwhelming it. The black fire rushed to him. Kit's vision filled with Haou's form and the Wicked Eraser. A monster that was immune to spells, traps, and monster effects? He couldn't believe it...it was truly a godly monster.

The attack impacted him, making him scream as black fire and lightning coursed over him.

Kit: 8000 - 0

"KIT!" Julia and Dipper cried out.

The ensuing explosion rocked the school, cracking the floor. The force of the blast sent Kit flying back, bouncing along the ground. His body was smoking, his duel disk shattered. His cards scattered from the slot, flying down to the ground. Kit's entire body was blackened, his clothing charred and electricity sparking over him. Skip stared in shock.

"That...I need to shut this down now!" Skip commented, typing away.

When he got an error code, his eyes went wide.

"WHAT?! I can't shut it down! Something has locked me out!"

That had Henrietta come over, trying her own override code. The system buzzed again, showing the error code. Her eyes went wide.

"How...how is this possible?"

She looked through the shattered window, staring at the great god of Erasement, snarling lowly. Haou looked at Julia and Dipper, both staring up at him.

"Well...make your moves. My Wicked God is still hungry for two more souls."

Julia froze, her eyes wide. All she could see was Kit being blasted by the black fire of the monster...no...the GOD before her. It was as if all of her childish nightmares had joined together...and its face was Wicked Eraser.

She fell to her knees. Tears came to her eyes, falling down. She didn't want to die! She didn't want to face this...this thing!

The tears flowed down, her fear overriding her pride as a duelist.

"MOMMY! DADDY!" She screamed, crying.

"J-jewels!" Dipper cried out, shocked.

There was a buzzer, though she barely heard it, sobbing and weeping. Julia's turn ended. Dipper looked at his deck, shaking. This...how could they face this? A monster that got stronger with every card they played. Immune to any kind of destruction spell and trap. Their own monsters ineffective against it.

Dipper looked at Kit. His eyes shrank at seeing the boy still laying there. He choked on something. Then he threw up. He too began to sob and weep.

The buzzer sounded. Haou simply drew, then pointed at Dipper. Eraser screeched, launching its fire at Pleadeis.

Dipper: 8000 - 0

Julia felt the explosion next to her. Smoke and dust obscured her vision for the briefest of moments. When it cleared, Haou was standing in front of her. It took a full minute to register this. She scrambled back, panting and heaving. Tears no longer fell, mostly due to her tear ducts running dry. But through her red eyes, she saw the armor. So badly startled, she scrambled back.

"I'm sorry! I'M SORRY! I'MSORRYI'MSORRYI'MSORRY!"

Haou simply lifted his hand up. He reached for something near his neck. Pulling it out, he revealed it to be a handkerchief. Tossing it to Julia, she stared. Gently, she grabbed it and began to wipe her wet cheeks.

There was a soft click and something sliding up.

Julia's eyes went wide, snapping to the face of her opponent. She expected so much. The eyes to be fury filled, burning hate and loathing. Even disgust.

But no.

The eyes she saw?

They were filled with unbridled JOY.

HAPPINESS.

The same golden eyes, that had once been filled with rage and anger, were filled to the brim with indescribable glee. The whites had become a crimson, like blood. There was markings on his cheeks, the same crimson, trailing down from his eyes. It looked like he was crying blood. And the smile.

The smile!

There was nothing mocking about it. No sneer, no smugness. Just a very happy smile!

"...Thank you."

Julia gasped. He was...thanking her?

"I have not been let out in a long, long time. He never let me...but you...you and your friends there? Oh, you helped me out for this one duel. This one GLORIOUS duel." Haou said, the smile never leaving his face. "So...I thank you."

Julia's disk buzzed then. She gasped. Haou genuine smile grew.

"Eraser...end this." Haou said, drawing one card from the deck.

The Wicked God screeched, launching its attack. Master Diamond stood his ground...but the diamond cracked and then shattered. The black fire rushed up to her...and she knew no more.

The explosion further rocked the entire school, making everyone stagger around. Declan watched it all, shock and fear on his face. His top three students...had been decimated in just under a few turns and not one of them dealing damage to Jaden Yuki!

Julia: 8000 - 0

Jaden Yuki: WINNER

Haou walked away from the three knocked out students, the holograms fading...and revealing a VERY trashed arena. The same smile was on his face as he walked up the steps, eyes glinting in glee.

Everyone turned to see Haou walk in, smiling that creepy smile of his. Kaiba shuddered, seeing those eyes and smile again. He NEVER wanted to see this side of him. Not like this.

He saw Alexis Rhodes moving, wrapping Haou in a hug. She began to sob.

The action made Haou pause. The smile slowly dropped. The crimson streaks and eyes slowly returned to normal, the irises still retaining their gold sheen. Jaden's face morphed into shocked understanding. Tears welled up in his eyes. He clung to Alexis, hugging her tightly to him, being careful not to hurt her in his armor. Sobbing, he begged for her forgiveness.

Bastion, Syrus, Chazz, and Kaiba walked to the sobbing boy. Shooting a glare at Henrietta, Kaiba spoke, tone cold.

"You leave You Show alone."

"O-of course..." Henrietta stammered out, still too shocked over the events of the duel.

The Central Top left You Show. The students of You Show had seen an ugly side of Jaden Yuki. A side he had never shown since his bad early days of the Pros.

And it filled them with nothing but dread.

And there you have it. Now I could say that Jaden suffers from Split Personality, but I'm not going to cheap out on that. Haou is Jaden, just his more sinister side. But unlike Jaden, Haou finds it all sorts of fun. Yes, you heard right. He finds dueling like that FUN.

I find a dark side that takes genuine fun and joy is a LOT more threatening then a dark twisted side fueled by rage and anger.
