The Watcher looked down at the dark dawn that Peter and Natalia were now going through a day after Clinton's kidnapping. "Their son was taken from them. Now the kidnappers will have to feel the scorn of the mother's wrath."

A day after Clinton was taken from them, Peter kept his promise to Natalia and knew he needed to get her a super suit. Something to protect her as she was planning to tear apart everyone and everything in her way to find her son.

Peter saw how well she handled herself and decided to indulge her as he didn't want her to tear him apart. That is how the two ended up in the back of a froyo business as he walked them to the back door.

"So, how do you know this guy?" Natalia asked as Peter tapped the button.

"He helped me by making my suit," Peter explains to her as the elevator opens. "I already set you up, I'm one of his favorite clients as I always let him do whatever he wants with the suits. He loves to be creative eith the suits."

"Okay, how is he supposed to help me?" Natalia wonders as they walk inside.

"He makes suits for superheroes everywhere. What little there are of us," Peter said as the doors to the elevator closed. "Trust me, you're in good hands."

When the elevator doors opened again, the sight Natalia was met with was a full-on setup for clothes designing. She saw a dozen people wandering around while fixing up other styled super suits.

"Hey, Luke?" Peter called out to the man in the middle of the room, talking to someone else.

Luke Jacobson, the owner and designer of the whole place, turned to face them. He then got one look at Natalia's clothes and gasped. "Oh, god! Is the hag convention in town?"

Natalia looked down at her clothes, she wondered what was wrong with them. "What's wrong with my clothes?"

"Nat, not right now," Peter tried to calm her down as he went towards Luke. "Luke, this is my fiancé. Natalia. And now a recent superhero."

"Hi." Natalia decided to greet him, letting the comment about her clothes go.

"Never heard of you," Luke commented and walked around, working on other suits.

"She is recent," Peter explained to his friend and ran to catch up with him. "She hasn't gotten a name yet. Look, Luke, I need you to make her a suit. You can put it on my tab."

"Suit? For that?" Luke asks as he gestures to Natalia, not seeing anything super about her.

"Okay, look, is this necessary?" Natalia asked with a sigh and walked over to Luke herself. "I just need a suit."

Luke sighed and decided to hear the two of them out. "Okay, well, what kind of superhero stuff will you be doing?" He kept walking and making decisions as he asked them questions. "Will you need built-in weaponry? Fire resistance?"

"Uh, I need... a suit with mobility. Bulletproof at the highest." Natalia gave off her requests. "Also, maybe a few weapons built in the wrists like Peter's? That way I could get around faster and climb buildings."

"Built-in grapple hooks?" Luke seemed interested in that idea. "You officially have my attention."

"And maybe doubling as weapons that will help me take out criminals?" Natalia asked of him. "And stealth. That's a big thing that I need. So maybe keep it all black?"

"I feel like that's a jab at me." Peter had to admit.

"It kinda was." Natalia had to agree as she turned to face him with a smile. "I don't need a giant target on my chest."

Peter was about to reply with some snarky remark when he realized she actually did have a point on that. "Okay, fair enough."

"I will come up with a few designs. Why don't you come back tomorrow, and I will show you what I have come up with?" Luke asks of them.

"One day?" Natalia asks.

"He's a fast work," Peter explained.

Natalia nodded and saw that it was going to take some time to get that suit, but she was going to look into these people for now. Peter and Natalia made their way out, and the two still needed to talk with the few leads that they had right now to find their son.

When they were making their way home, Peter and Natalia were still trying to find out exactly what they could do. There wasn't much that they could really do right now except try to find answers for who kidnapped their son.

"There is nothing that you can remember about these guys?" Peter asks Natalia. "Anything?"

"No," Natalia confirmed she never knew any of these people. "I really don't-" Then she noticed something glistening in the bushes. "Wait, what's that?"

When they walked over toward the glistening light, they found a pair of high-powered binoculars that definitely weren't there before. Peter picked them up and wondered why they were there, believing that this must be connected to the people who kidnapped their son.

Natalia walked over and took ahold of the binoculars like she was going through some Sherlock Holmes moment, deducing where it came from. She then took off and walked away from the bushes.

"Nat?" Peter quickly tried to keep up as he raced after her. "Where are we going?"

"I might have gotten us some answers," Natalia said as she shoved the binoculars against his chest.

Peter got confused about how she did that and looked over the binoculars. "What makes you say that?"

Natalia showed him that there was a tent set up in the open field near their house. "See?"

Peter was really getting confused as to how she knew this was there. "How did you...?"

"Come on," Natalia said as she marched towards the tent.

Inside the tent, Clint and Bucky were going over what their options were now after everything. Ophelia, a criminal they have been after, showed up out of nowhere and kidnapped Natalia's son.

"I mean, there's no way that they followed us here, did she?" Clint asks Bucky. "It's not our fault."

"It doesn't matter." Bucky sighed as he was scratching his neck where they were hit. "We were there and failed to protect her son. Now we don't know where they took the kid or what they plan to do with it."

"What about Nat?" Clint wonders.

"What about her?" Bucky wondered as he was packing up.

"Yes," Natalia said, immediately getting both of their attention as they spun around to face her as she stood at the entrance of the tent. "What about her?"

"Nat..." Clint didn't know what he was going to say when she immediately jumped into defensive mode.

Natalia kicked Clint back with one leg whilst Bucky walked over slowly. "Nata-"

Before he could even finish his statement, Natalia raised her fist and grabbed Bucky by his neck and slammed him into the wall. Natalia kept her leg out as she pinned Clint to one end of the tent and kept her hand around Bucky's neck to keep him pinned. That's when Peter entered the tent and noticed the entire situation where he saw his fiancée pinning two men against the wall.

"Okay, this isn't what I imagined I would find." Peter joked as he looked at the three of them. "Hi." He greeted the two men his fiancée was currently holding hostage. "I'm Peter. I know you; I hope." He said as he looked towards Clint, remembering him from a few days ago at his garage. "Natalia, you know these guys?"

Natalia, however, didn't respond as she was staring at Bucky. She looked over his long hair and his slight beard that was growing, and then her eyesight went down to the robotic arm. That's when something happened, and she was suddenly mentally transported somewhere that was unfamiliar to her.

Natalia looked around and saw nothing around her but darkness and what looked like a boxing ring. She started to look and see the darkness filled with windows and nothing but cold snow blowing outside. Then she saw the same stranger she was currently holding hostage in front of her.

Then as if her body was possessed, she watched as she began to fight the man with the metal arm. She hears commands from someone out in the room demanding her to fight stronger and harder and the man with the metal arm begins to fight stronger and harder as well.

Then as if there was a Jump cut in her head, she found herself in a room of sorts alone with the same man. The room had brick walls, a small metal bedframe, and a mattress over in the corner with a sink on the other side. She was patching up the man with the metal arm after their fight, and they were both talking in Russian. Her head was somehow able to know some of what they were saying, talking about someone named Steve and something about a brain chair that she couldn't quite understand.

When she finished patching him up, Natalia was shocked when she was stuck watching as she dragged the man over and pulled him in for a kiss.

That's when Natalia broke out of her memories and suddenly returned to the present, where she was still holding the two of them by the throat. "Who..." She looked towards Bucky with a confused and shocked expression. "Who are you? To me?"

Bucky was shocked to hear this and looked into her eyes to see nothing but fear and worry. "You really don't know?"

Natalia then closed her fist a bit more, closing the airway for him. "How do I know you?!"

"You protected me!" Bucky tried to explain it the best that he could to her. "In the Red Room Program."

"What's the Red Room Program?" Peter wonders, feeling he is missing something huge here.

"I don't know what it is," Natalia said as she looked at Bucky again.

"Listen...we can answer all of your questions. But first, you need to let us go." Bucky asks of her.

Natalia looked over to Clint, who had the heel of her shoe in his neck and was trying not to get stabbed. Natalia didn't even know that she was this agile and lowered her foot to let him go as well as release Bucky's neck from her grasp. Then the two started to catch their breath after their assault, while Peter was only getting more confused about everything that was happening around them.

"You have answers?" Natalia asks them. "About to whom I am?"

"Do you not know who you are? For real?" Clint was surprised to hear that his friend truly didn't know who she was. "I thought it was just an act in the garage."

"What was an act?" Natalia asks.

"All of this," Clint explains as he gestured to all of her.

"You just pointed to all of me!" Natalia cried in annoyance.

"Yes!" Clint confirms. "This version of you. You're not some stay-at-home mother raising a child with some guy."

"She's not a stay-at-home mom." Peter defended her.

"Yeah, I have a job." Natalia felt she should also defend herself there.

"You're not an architect, though." Bucky sighed as he rubbed his neck. "You're a highly trained assassin with skills to rival the greatest fighters and hackers in the world."

"Assassin?" Natalia scoffed as she looked at their expressions. "I... I've never hurt anyone in my life. I am not a murderer."

"Can you be sure of that?" Bucky questioned her.

Peter listened to what they were saying and saw there could be someone they could turn to. "Nat... we know someone who can confirm everything they're saying."

The three of them then turned towards Peter, hoping that he could explain exactly what he was trying to say. But once he did get across what he was saying, it only got a lot of confusion out of Bucky and Clint, but Natalia knew what he was saying.

Meanwhile, in a building near them on the fourteenth floor, a woman stole a file from them and quickly ran down the hall, trying to escape a guard.

"Hold it!" The guard warned as he raised his gun to her.

"Don't come near me." She pleaded to him, more afraid than anything.

"You need to come with me." The guard informed her as the woman then passed a bag that she had on her, and it began to glow purple.

"Get down!" She cried and ran down the hall just before the bag exploded.

The four of them made a quick call to their friends, who told them that they knew a way that could help them, and all of them went to STAR Labs. Even though it was closed down, the doors were still open for the two of them, thanks to Harrison leaving it to them. Not to mention, nobody else wanted it and gave it up to everyone until it went down to the two of them.

Caitlin, Ronnie, and Cisco met them all at the cortex, where Bucky and Clint both got their first look at the inside of the science institute. But it was also the first look Cisco and Caitlin got of Bucky and Clint, which was something else altogether.

"Oh, that's so cool!" Ronnie said as he looked over at Bucky and down at his metal arm. "A state-of-the-art arm made in Russia?"

"Presumably." Natalia corrected Cisco.

"When this is all over, you think you can hook me up with one of those?" Cisco asked him, reaching to caress the metallic arm.

"Touch the arm, and you will lose yours," Bucky promises the engineer.

Cisco saw that his threat was sincere and backed off of the Winter Soldier. "Okay, boundaries. I can respect that."

"Since when do you respect boundaries?" Ronnie asks.

"Since the scary man with the metal arm threatened me," Cisco defended.

"So..." Natalia followed Caitlin into her medical wing, where there was a device waiting for them. "What exactly is this going to do?"

The device looked like some half-made chair with a device for her head and a place for her to sit.

"Basically, what I am going to do is give you a brain scan." Caitlin recapped what she was planning to do. "I am going to see if there is anything up with your memories to see if there's anything that might have been placed there or something that could have been altered in your mind."

"You can do that?" Natalia was surprised to hear.

"Well, it's basically an oversized CAT scan amplified with the scientific advancements we have here." Ronnie shrugged and gestured for Natalia to take a seat. "Come on, take a seat, we'll get started."

Natalia decided to comply with her friend's request, walked into the chair, and allowed Caitlin to warm up the machine. Peter, Bucky, and Clint were watching everything that was occurring from the other side of the glass in the cortex to keep an eye on Natalia/Natasha.

"So... how do you know Nat?" Peter asks the two men.

"We've been partners for a few years," Clint answered, remembering when he first met her. "I was sent to kill her."

Peter looked over at him in shock and horror. "What?"

"I didn't plan to finish the job." Clint defended and pointed to Bucky. "He almost killed her before."

"She also almost killed me a dozen times; I think that makes us even," Bucky replied.

Caitlin then started to watch the computers to see if there was any tampering or anything that was blocking off her memories. During the search, she noticed there was in fact something embedded into the back of her neck.

"What is that?" Caitlin wondered as she tried to get a better look at exactly what it was that was embedded in her neck.

"What is it?" Natalia wonders.

"I might have found something," Caitlin said as she turned to face her. "A small... I want to say it looks like a chip that has been implanted into your neck."

"A what?!" Natalia was shocked to hear. "Get it out!"

"That's the thing." Caitlin was sorry to say. "I can't. If I attempted to do so, I would more likely only end up killing or paralyzing you."

"You never noticed there was something wrong with your neck?" Ronnie asks.

Natalia raised a brow and looked at how long her hair was. "I never had the chance to look at the back of my neck. Not into buzz cuts." She then caressed her hair and put it past her shoulder. "Who would want to cut this?"

Caitlin had to admit she agreed as she wasn't one for short hair either. "Fair enough."

"Now how do we get it out?" Natalia asks them.

The scientists started to ask the same question themselves before Cisco came up with a possible solution. "What if we didn't remove it but disabled it?"

"What?" Caitlin asked her friend.

"What?" Ronnie asked.

"I have to agree, what?" Natalia agreed.

"Think about it. We disable the chip, whatever it was doing to her stops, and we might just get some answers on who or why." Cisco explains to the two of them. "Just a simple jolt in the right spot, bye-bye chip."

Natalia wasn't entirely sure she was comfortable with the idea of someone using electricity on her brain like that. "Cait?"

"It could work." Caitlin couldn't lie and say it wasn't possible.

"It's still risky," Ronnie warned her.

While they were talking about that, Peter's phone alert went off and he saw there was an emergency. He looked over towards Bucky and Clint, he wasn't sure if either of them knew about his alter ego as Spider-Man and would prefer to keep it that way.

"I...I've gotta go." Peter told the two and gestured to his phone to his friends and fiancee. They all understood what he was trying to say and nodded, confirming that he could go and they had things handled.

As Peter was leaving, they were preparing to spark the chip. After a few seconds, Cisco managed to zap it, causing a yelp from Natalia, and they watched. Waiting to see what the chip was holding back from Natalia.

Natalia gasped as her mind seemed to open to things she never thought before.
