XTCViper: I've given it a read. It's very interesting.
Disclaimer: I do not own WWE. I only own the OC George Edwards/The Bladewolf.
Trish sat with Stephanie and Amy (Lita) at the restaurant table.
"This omelet looks like false advertising." Stephanie's eyes squint. "I'm going to be upset if it doesn't look like that."
"You have been debating on an egg for five minutes." Trish rolls her eyes. "You do realize that. Right?"
Any had her chin rested in her palm. "Five? I'm counting on ten."
"Excuse me for wanting to be sure I get something good before we go to work." Stephanie adjusts her menu with a scoff. Amy and Trish raise amused brows. "Support would be nice."
"I gave you support for the first minute, now you're just killing us." Trish nods. She looks at the menu. "So, what are you two having?"
Amy reads it over. "I'll just do the special."
"Yeah, I think I'll do the same." Stephanie nodded. "Gotta be careful though. If I have to get physical out near the ring, and I've got a full stomach, it's not going to be pretty."
Trish chuckles. "George says that happened to someone during a house show that he had in..." She squinted her eyes as she recalled that conversation. "1998."
Amu smirks at her. "George, huh?"
Trish rolls her eyes at her. "Shut up. It's just his name."
"You two seem on friendly terms." Stephanie grinned at her. "Gotta ask, you enjoying being his on-screen girlfriend?"
Trish narrowed her eyes at them as they laughed. "There's no good or bad answer, so I'm not answering."
"We just want to know, Trish." Amy said. "I mean, I didn't know the guy personally until Matt and Jeff introduced me to him. He's a great guy, phenomenal wrestlers... hot as hell."
"Oh my god." Trish sighs, causing Amy to laugh. "Are you trying to suggest I make things actually official rather than just an on-screen romance?"
"Hey, I wasn't attracted to Paul at first during that storyline we had late last year." Stephanie piped in, referring to the storyline in which she was drugged and married by Triple H in Vegas. "And look at us now."
Trish rolled her eyes. "Just because we're an on-screen couple doesn't mean we'll be getting together outside of WWF." She then pauses. "But, if I had to admit, he is a great kisser."
"Well, at least we got something." Amy smirked at Stephanie who nods. "So come on, what's it like working with him?"
Trish sighs, knowing they won't leave her alone unless she tells them. "It's actually pretty awesome, i'm not gonna lie. I watched him on TV before I joined the WWF, watched him since that night I watched SummerSlam 1997. And he quickly became a favourite of mine. I just loved how he never spoke on the microphone until this year. It's not often that wrestlers do that, and are able to use actions and body language to do the speaking for them."
"Didn't Sting do that in WCW?" Stephanie asked.
Trish nodded. "George said that Sting is one of his favourite wrestlers, regardless of him being under contract with the competition. He's watched Sting since the Surfer Sting days. He told me that, one day, he hopes he can stand in the ring across from Sting in a match."
"That would be pretty amazing to see." Amy nods, as did Stephanie. "But with Sting being in WCW, that doesn't look possible. Even with the way that company is going lately. it's like they just don't know what to do anymore. And that whole reboot thing they did just a few days ago? yeah, I don't see that working out for them."
"George's brothers, who used to work there, said that things got bad when Hogan arrived." Trish said. She then shakes her head. "But anyway, Backlash is coming up in a couple of weeks. You guys excited?"
"Meh." Amy shrugged.
"I am." Stephanie nodded. "Some things are still being worked on, according to my dad, but they should be ready to go before April 30th."
RAW is WAR: 17/4/2000
RAW is WAR was live at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pennsylvania. The World Wrestling Federation Championship was on the line early-on this week on RAW when Chris Jericho challenged Triple H for the title. Prior to the match, Y2J took over where he left off last week, making fun of Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. Also before the match got under way, Jericho told Triple H that the Acolytes would be in his corner. In Triple H's corner was his wife and her brother, Shane. The champ's focus seemed to be elsewhere in the early going, as Jericho assaulted Triple H - several times nearly walking away with the Championship. Finally when it appeared as though Jericho would have Hunter's number, the assigned referee was knocked out. Senior referee Earl Hebner then came down and finished the officiating duties. When it was all said and done, Chris Jericho defeated Triple H and captured the World Wrestling Federation Championship after hitting him with a moonsault.
After the commercial break, Triple H, Stephanie and Shane physically brought Earl Hebner into the ring. Triple H also brought in the originally assigned referee, Mike Chiota. Triple H then asked for Chiota's professional opinion. Chiota responded, saying that Hebner screwed Triple H. Hebner then said that he would reverse the decision if Triple H promised never to lay another hand on him as long as he was a WWF referee. As soon as Triple H was given the Championship back, Hebner leaned that he was fired. Shane and Triple H then proceeded kicking his ass.
In tag team action, the Hardys battled Essa Rios and Eddie Guerrero. Although lacking the experience of the Hardys, Essa and Eddie worked well together. However, it was Jeff and Matt who gained the victory after Lita's interference turned bad. After the match, Chyna and Guerrero beat on Essa.
Crash Holly then defended the Hardcore Championship against Perry Saturn and the ECW champion, Tazz. Crash once again walked away with his belt, after an interfering Hardcore Holly floored Saturn. Crash then pinned Saturn, beating his cousin Hardcore to the punch.
Linda McMahon then came to the ring to make an announcement. Linda stated that she was sick and tired of what was going on in the World Wrestling Federation. She then stated that she noticed The Rock probably had no chance against Triple H at Backlash, especially after what happened to Y2J earlier in the evening. Linda noticed that the odds were stacked against The Rock so she announced that Stone Cold Steve Austin would be in The Rock's corner at Backlash. Stephanie then came to the ring and told her mother that she would give her one chance to change her mind. Linda declined. She then slapped her daughter in self defense. A shocked Stephanie then ordered her husband to get Linda. Triple H then attempted to Pedigree Linda. All hell then broke loose when Shane attacked Triple H, stopping the Champion's attack on his mother. Not quite sure what was going on, Stephanie then slapped both Triple H and Shane. The Rock's music then hit the arena. The Rock assured Triple H that his reign as Champion would end at Backlash.
Next up, to begin the second hour of RAW, the Bladewolf takes on Head Cheese in a two-on-one Handicap match.
Coming back from the commercial break, Head Cheese were already in the ring as their theme was dying down. Head Cheese consisted of Al Snow and Steve Blackman, and tonight they face the Bladewolf in a Handicap match. The atmosphere in the crowd was electric as fans wanted to see the Demon Wolf in action.
OOOOOOOOWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO!
'Ooh, wah-ah-ah-ah! Get up, come on, get down with the sickness!'
Down with the Sickness by Disturbed played to a big pop from the crowd as the Bladewolf walked out, accompanied by Trish Stratus. The two make their way down the ramp towards the ring.
"And their opponent, accompanied by Trish Stratus. from Death Valley, weighing 310 lbs... THE BLADEWOLF!" Lillian Garcia announced then left the ring as Al Snow and Steve Blackman readied themselves.
As the Bladewolf and Trish made their way to the ring, color commentator JR decided to bring up the recent issues. "Lately, the Bladewolf has been having issues with T&A, Test and Albert. And this all started because they wanted Trish Stratus to leave him and go manage them."
Jerry Lawler saw nothing wrong with that as he said. "Well, can you blame them, JR? A hottie like Trish shouldn't hang around someone like the Bladewolf."
"I'm sure she'd disagree, King." JR retorted.
Bladewolf gets onto the ring apron and removes his vest, tossing it to the side while Trish stays at ringside to watch. Bladewolf climbs over the top rope, eyeing Al Snow and Steve Blackman coldly.
"The Bladewolf knows how dangerous both of these men are, especially the Lethal Weapon, Steve Blackman." JR pointed out. "But the Bladewolf is no slouch himself."
"No, he isn't." Jerry agreed.
The Bladewolf's theme dies down and the referee checks all three men for anything illegal. Seeing that they didn't have anything, he checked if they were ready to which he received nods and then called for the bell.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
"Referee Mike Chioda calling for the bell to begin this contest." JR noted.
Snow and Blackman had a brief discussion in their corner while the Bladewolf remained standing where he was, his face blank as he watched both men. He was almost as still as a statue. As Blackman turned to get out of the ring, the Bladewolf caught Head Cheese off guard with a sudden charge and collided with both men, sending Blackman spilling out to the floor.
"oh!" Jerry exclaimed in surprise, having been caught off guard at the Bladewolf's sudden charge.
JR shakes his head. "Gotta keep your eye on the Demon Wolf. He can attack as quick as a, well, wolf."
Grabbing Al Snow, Bladewolf drives his right fist into his midsection repeatedly while getting him in a headlock of some kind. Bladewolf then brings his right forearm down across his back hard, sending him to the mat on his hands and knees. Not wasting time, the Bladewolf wraps his arms around Snow from behind and sends him flying across the ring with a release German Suplex, much to the approval of the crowd as they cheered and clapped.
"And now the Bladewolf begins his show of dominance." JR nodded, knowing this was part of how the Bladewolf dominates his matches. "A release German Suplex, nearly sending Al Snow out of the ring."
Walking over to Snow, the Bladewolf grabs his arm and practically yanks him up onto his feet before wrapping his arms around his midsection, lifts him up before he breaks off into a run and slams Snow into the corner hard.
"oh!" Jerry flinched at the sight, looking away briefly. The Bladewolf begins to pummel Snow with a fury of lefts and rights. "The Bladewolf being a little more aggressive than usual, don't you think?"
"Ever since his return at WrestleMania." JR nodded in agreement with his partner, having taken note of the Bladewolf's newfound aggression. "But he is a changed man, no longer wearing a mask, has spoken his first words on WWF TV. He defeated Triple H in a brutal First Blood match, and now turns his attention onto T&A after they stuck his nose in his business."
Jerry chuckled. "More like tried to take his girl away from him."
JR rolled his eyes at him. "What a mistake that may have been."
Bladewolf keps up the fury of lefts and rights, forcing Snow to weakly cover up in a futile effort to defend himself but the former WWF Champion's punches were fast and strong, breaking Snow's defence. He then switched it up and drove his knee into Snow's midsection repeatedly before working on the right arm, landing blow after blow on it then wraps it around the top rope and pulls.
"My god." Jerry shakes his head. "He's just wrenching that arm."
"And against the rope, that cannot be pleasant." JR added.
Referee Mike Chioda then gets involved. "Come on, Bladewolf, let him go!" Seeing that he wasn't the referee began to count. "One! Two! Three! Four-!"
Bladewolf finally released Snow's arm and whirled on Chioda who quickly backed up while pointing out that he was the referee and would disqualify the Bladewolf is he touched him. Bladewolf flips his hair back before adjusting his right elbow pad, then turns and runs at Snow only to get an elbow to the face that briefly made him stumble back.
"And Al Snow with an elbow." JR said, blinking at the man's sudden surge of offence.
Snow, not wanting to let up, lands a right hand to the Bladewolf's face, then another, then another, then another. He nails a kick to the midsection, bending Bladewolf forward a little, then he runs at the ropes only to be caught off guard when the Bladewolf floors him with a big boot after running with him.
"What a boot to the face!" Jerry complimented.
There was something that JR noted. "And the Bladewolf has not gone for the pin at all so far."
Jerry rolls his eyes. "Of course he hasn't, JR. The Bladewolf is a sadistic, remorseless animal that wants to hurt people."
Falling onto his back, Snow was halfway out onto the ring apron under the bottom rope. However, before he had any ideas of rolling out of the ring, the Bladewolf walked over and put his boot on the bottom rope, pushing it down onto Snow's neck. Couple the rope with the weight of his boot, Snow would be choking and was writhing as such.
"He's choking him!" Jerry pointed.
Referee Mike Chioda was quick to tell the Bladewolf off and tried to pull him away, but had to quickly go stop Steve Blackman who had gotten into the ring in an attempt to help his partner. The Bladewolf turns around, letting up on Snow, and stalks towards Blackman who mouth offed to him.
"Now the Bladewolf and Steve Blackman getting face to face." JR said.
However, given that the referee's back was turned, this allowed Trish Stratus to quickly run up to Snow and bring her elbow down on his head.
"Oh!" Jerry was not expecting that.
"Trish with an elbow to Al Snow's dead!" JR added, equally as surprised. "The referee's back was turned."
Trish walked back to where she stood, smirking as the crowd gave her a mixed reaction.
"A devillish smirk on the face of Trish Stratus." JR stated.
"On that beautiful face." Jerry corrected.
JR rolled his eyes. "Of course."
With the referee focused on getting Blackman out of the ring, the Bladewolf comes off the ropes and hits a running elbow drop to the chest of Al Snow before covering him. Seeing this, the referee quickly dived down.
"Now for the cover!" JR exclaimed.
"One!"
"Two!"
"Thr-!"
Steve Blackman breaks it up.
"But Steve Blackman comes in to break the count." JR said. Blackman stomps on Bladewolf repeatedly and starts laying into him with punches. "And now Blackman going to work on the Bladewolf!"
"Look at him go! Look at Blackman go!" Jerry said as Blackman threw lightning-fast punches at the head of the three-time WWF Champion who had to cover up in order to protect himself.
Blackman gets to his feet and gestures for Bladewolf to get to his. "Get up!" Blackman shouted.
"Steve Blackman... what's he got in mind?" JR wondered.
The Bladewolf made it to his feet and turns around just as Blackman goes for a spinning kick, but Bladewolf leans back enough to avoid it. Blackman lands on his feet and gets taken down with a big clothesline by the Bladewolf. Flipping his hair back, Bladewolf grabs Blackman around the waist from behind and sends him across the ring with a German Suplex. the Bladewolf gets to his feet, walks over to Blackman, grabs him from behind and hits a second release German Suplex.
"Two German Suplexes!" Jerry exclaimed.
"The Bladewolf dominant from the get-go." JR added.
Al Snow charges at Bladewolf who ducks, runs at the ropes and rebounds as Al Snow comes running back towards him... BUT GETS HIT WITH A SPEAR!
"Spear! Spear!" Jerry shouted.
"Good God, what a spear!" JR gaped. "That spear almost turned Al Snow inside out!"
Bladewolf got to his feet and then eyed Blackman who was stumbling to his feet and turns around... INTO A GOOZLE! bladewolf is about o lift him up and Chokeslam him when he spots Test and Albert running down the ramp towards the ring.
"Wait a minute." JR frowned as Bladewolf tossed Blackman to the side, eyeing Test and Albert who mouth off to him. "What are they doing out here?"
Jerry shrugged. "They probably want a closer look at the action, JR."
Bladewolf eyes the duo for a little longer before he turns and goes to clothesline Al Snow but Snow ducks... AND BLADEWOLF HITS THE REFEREE INSTEAD!
"Oh!" Jerry's eyes widened.
"The Bladewolf went for the clothesline but Al Snow ducked and the referee got hit instead!" JR added.
Bladewolf grabs Snow and lifts him up into a fireman's carry when Test and Albert slide into the ring. Dropping Snow, Bladewolf fights off T&A with punches before he catches Test by the throat. But before he can go for the Chokeslam... ALBERT NAILS HIM WITH THE BIG BOOT RIGHT TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD!
"Oooh!" Jerry flinched at the impact, even looking away.
"What a big boot by Albert." JR shook his head.
Now with their target down, T&A began stomping away on the Bladewolf as the crowd booed them but were ignored. Pulling Bladewolf to his feet, Albert gets him into position and sets him up onto his shoulders and then... NAILS THE BIG-TIME POWERBOMB!
"And a Powerbomb by Albert!" JR shouted.
Test and Albert quickly take their leave, laughing as they back up the ramp. In the ring, Al Snow crawls over and slowly manages to hook the leg as the referee slowly came to.
"The referee's moving!" Jerry pointed.
"Did they get it?!" JR questioned.
"One!"
...
"Two!"
...
"Three!"
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
"Head Cheese wins!" JR exclaimed as their theme plays.
"Here are your winners... AL SNOW AND STEVE BLACKMAN!" Lillian Garcia announced.
"What an upset, JR!" Jerry looked at his broadcast partner, shocked at the outcome of the match. "I mean, Head Cheese actually beat the Bladewolf!"
"With a little assist from T&A." JR pointed out.
Jerry rolled his eyes. "Oh, it's not like they knew about it. the fact is, they've beaten the Bladewolf. That's gotta sting the man's pride."
Head Cheese take their leave from the ring as the Bladewolf recovers and sits up, looking around, before his gaze snaps to the stage where Test and Albert stood, smirking and laughing at him. Bladewolf's expression darkened into a glare as he got to his feet, holding the top rope.
"I don't think things are over. Far from it." JR was certain of it.
RAW then went to a commercial break.
And that's it for this chapter, folks. Yeah, I had a bit of an off-screen moment included into this one.
