Brick Masterson.

Well known across LEGO City for being a firefighter, skilled in weapons expert and combat. Working for the L.E.G.O organization he was assigned to the Brick building team. Brick's Most commonly for being one of the strongest members on the team and being known for being the worst to work with.. He's Notorious for the destruction of many buildings and vehicles spread across Lego city, not to mention his obnoxious attitude that's got them time and time again into trouble. His members often struggle to connect with him despite them being a team, not to mention his bad habits of terrorizing and arguing with the others, leading to major accidents on the field.

His destructive behavior has caused many problems, for not just his team but for the people around him which is why Kjeld had ordered the bricks building team to a meeting, mainly for Brick. He assigned them to go on separate missions with the alleged fire starter, as a way to help boost their trust in each other's abilities, seeing as Brick was quick to refuse this, Kjeld instead.

" Oh, you gotta be kidding me?!"

"Believe me this is better for all of us. Including you" Kjeld replied, hands behind his back a strict look on his face.

Kjeld had been keeping a close eye on the willed fireman. Strong at heart he is but instinctively his head's not in the right place. He's one to jump before looking, leaving the rest for themselves. Yet, he could still see potential in the man. So as of tomorrow Brick had the most common task to complete, teamwork.

He already hated this.

Morning came faster than he wanted. As the alarm clock blared just beside him. Head rested hard against the pillow he grumbled under the sheets, great. Already off to a good start..His eyes knit tighter, trying to block out the noise from the obnoxious clock.

The longer he stayed that darned thing somehow got louder, pressing his face harder into his pillow little hairs from the stubble around his cheekbones scratched ruff against the soft fabric shielding him. Each ring burned deeper into his head as it sang its chorus of high pitched tones, ears buzzing from the constant pounding from the sound.

Annoyed and he hasn't even started the day yet..

Strangely the constant ringing began to remind him of a certain team mate he works with.. and he knows yes, firemen are trained for this kind of thing, resistance. Although probably for the better he still worked both. The organization and being a firefighter, somehow things still manage to get under his skin, his tuff skin.. Blond hair filled his mind as deep blue eyes stared up at him, lips curled into a heavy frown, dark cherry lipstick stuck out like a sore thumb. A voice, a very sharp voice clearly telling him things he didn't want to hear, high and feminine. Lance with an accent he couldn't understand.

For some reason those simple thoughts alone were enough to make his blood crawl under pressure, them alone were enough, he could ignore it..but this just made him mad, madder than usual or not for the fact her voice kept going on and on rambling on till her voice became the only thing he could hear. He couldn't unhear it, he could go deeper and still feel her presence, her voice, her stare. Her obnoxious knowledge on everything. Rage white rage. Only till he heard the sweet sound of something crashing against the wall is when he snapped out of his slumber.

Opening his eyes with a slight creek, his left arm was outstretched from the covers, muscles tense and stiff. Sucking in a breath he rose from the blankets sitting up, dazed. He slowly moved his head in the direction of the crash. Laying in multiple pieces stood the alarm clock. Cords stuck out in different directions as black bits scattered across the carpeted floor and wall, Brick could see that it had a pretty noticeable crack now.

Just great…

Brick groaned, rubbing his hands against his face to get the sleepiness out. And as he let his hand rest on his face he could feel the soft hair from his mustache. This was the 10th time this week and he already went through a whole line of alarm clocks. He began to question why he even bothered to get one anyway, the false claim that advanced technology was the new thing. If it was so advanced then why did it break so easily? Brick never understood the fancy gadgets they advertised; they're just meant to break anyways and last only for a few weeks.

All they were good for is to look pretty.

Getting out of bed Brick let his body guide him towards his path, looking closely taking in most of the damage he caused. He examined the dense crack in his wall. The plug was still in the socket behind his nightstand. Ironically, that black cord was torn in half from the aggressive force he threw at it. He decided that right now would be a good time to clean this mess up before he had to leave. While cleaning up he made an interesting discovery. Surprisingly the clock still worked! Picking up the main frame the light flickered weak but he still could make out the time.

Showers were nice, the coolness of the water beating down your skin is somewhat refreshing. Even though he works around water most of the time he never put much thought into this. His hands became crude and friddle, clammy to the touch from all the harsh environments he endured since being a firefighter. The water hitting his head hair became increasingly soaked as he let it roll down his back, suds from the soap coaxing his skin. His light blue eyes soon met the drain he watched as the bubbles slid slowly through in the depths of the pipes. Hands raised, he grabbed the shower handle turning the water off. Silently, listening to the drips from the shower head. Drying himself he caught a glimpse of the mirror, mist fogged most of it but he could still make out his silhouette, with one swipe he cleared it.

Strong cheekbones, statured as his stubble coated his lower jaw down to his chin as his mustache proudly displayed. Showing a man of great strength and somehow blue eyes gave him a much softer look..Even his dirty blonde hair, little drips fell from his head making it down to his forehead. Putting things in perspective, his masculine structure was and is perfect for whatever heavy duty job he's needed to be done. His body showed a line of such, Brick puffed his chest out as the chest hair and abs flared on display with no fear, little scars and burns as well. Flashing a smile his mirror mimicked, maybe today could work out.?

Needing to brush his teeth, he took care of the little essentials. Brushing his hair was second usually after teeth.

Afterwards he made his way to the kitchen, Brick was going to make something quick, no need for a full load. Settling on some bacon and cheese eggs with toast. The fireman set down enjoying his breakfast.. or at least trying to enjoy it.. finding himself feeble nibbling on the thick toasted bread he found himself lost in thought.

This whole time Kjeld had kept his assigned team mate a secret. So he would only know when he gets there, much to his dismay.. Guessing why Brick had been so spaced out about this since this was set upon the fireman, he was completely unaware of shooting water at his other workers at the fire department definitely was a great example. There were just so many options and Brick stressed that he might get the worst possible result.

There was that mechanic guy with the goofy goggles.. definitely not in the mood to see him today, but he sure is quick to snap. Brick found it funnier to just mess with the spiky haired mechanic then the others.

Oh.. then there was that Clutch powers guy. Stuck up much for his taste.. even though they saved the world together as a quote 'team' he always felt that claimed explorer took more credit from this then him. Always quick to take control of everything, giving orders and whatnot, Brick didn't like him much.

Last there was Peg.. the only girl on the team. Brick questioned what she brought to the asset. The others claimed she had lots of skill, but Brick didn't fully believe them. Because all she showed him was that women should never get in the way of a man's job. Comparing him to her, frail and gentle. Two things that weren't working material, the only thing that sometimes proved useful was her ability of knowledge but even with her words. Brick didn't understand a thing she said, when she would whip a quick smart response out, just as long as she would go on wishing she would just stop he would speak his mind, the others gave him looks.. But hey! It's not his fault he had opinions. Was it wrong to speak his mind?

Something hard started him from his thoughts, suddenly he found it harder to breathe. Coughing a few times he figured out what had him jagged. A thick piece of bacon tugged on the inside of his neck. Brick was able to get it down albeit ruff, he felt it slide down his throat sorely.

"Man.. I really need to stop doing that." Brick grumbled to himself as continued to eat.

Finally finished, the fireman prepared for the long day ahead of him. Many of his thoughts still left him buzzed but, for whoever he got he would be ready. As he walked out the door he took a look at the early sky. His face grew deeply intense.

How bad could it be?
