Collapsing Upper Ruins!
We last saw our heroes in God Eneru's land, the Upper Yard. Zoro clashed with the priest, Ohm, in the Upper Ruins. Luffy and the others found themselves in the belly of a giant snake, and it seem Wyper would soon join them. Upon finding the ruins of Shandora, the City of Gold, Robin, Leon, and Sareena encountered a God, Eneru. While Conis learned of Eneru's dark secret...
Skypiea, Upper Yard
After Conis and Pagaya learned the dark truth about Eneru's true agenda from the heavily wounded Divine Warrior, Eneru used his Devil Fruit to unleash his Divine Judgemet to strike down at the Upper Yard. Pagaya, however, saves his daughter by pushing her off the edge and having her down onto the ship. It left her in horror when lightning strikes the island, which causing a sheer shockwave to cause the tide and pushing the ship away in a far-off distance. Conis holds on the railing for her dear life since the ship is rocking because of the shockwave as lightning slowly starting to dissipate, then vanished while leaving the edge of the island on fire. But soon as dust vanished while the tide is starting to settle, the edge of the island is in flames while smoke flows in the air. Conis helpless widen her eyes, witnessed of her father died by Eneru's Divine Judgment, leaving her eyes emotionless while remembering about her father fixing the waver and remembering his words. Then remembered of Pagaya pushing Conis out of the island while being forced to watch him getting struck by Eneru's lightning power.
It left her devastated with tears flowing, bit her lower lip while feeling the tension of Eneru's sinister plot and the truth of his true goal. Her body trembled, about to cry and tears began to flow down to her cheeks. The tear drops, showing her the reflection of her father killed by Eneru. Suu came rushing to her with concern, but Conis just embraces the fox and starts crying.
'There's no time to lose! You must tell everyone! Soon, our lives will be over! Eneru will eliminate everything from the sky!'
With those echoed on her mind and remembering of the horror she had witnessed, she can even imagine Skypiea will soon be struck by Eneru, who stands with triumph, laughing. It made her slightly gasp with her eyes widen, now remembering about Skypiea is about to be dropped back into the Blue Sea and the island will no longer exist.
"I can't...I can't just sit here and cry...There's no time to lose." Conis said with a whimper. "I must take action...I have to do everything I can...I have to tell the people what's going to help."
And with a new resolve, Conis puts Suu down and stood up since she needs to head back to Sky Island to warn them about Eneru's true intention. She got her gear ready and rides on with the waver, leaving Suu in charge on taking care of Sanji and Usopp since there's something important she had to do.
'I have to warn them...no matter what it takes...' Conis mentally thought with determined look, riding on to her homeland while Suu was left alone at the ship to watch over Sanji and Usopp.
Skypiea, Upper Ruins
While at the Upper Ruins, Zoro heavily pants after the grueling fight against Ohm since he's been forced to go on defense in order to avoid the iron barbed wires, and the Eisen Whipsword thanks to his sharp senses, but he was able to defeat him with his new technique. He stares at the defeated and unconscious priest while the dust settles, then places his blades to his sheathes.
"Phew, that took a lot longer than expected. Guess I need to do a little more training." Zoro said to himself but noticed something was off. "That's weird, got awfully quiet here all of a sudden."
But then, he felt something from behind and quickly noticed Holy about to deliver a swift jab, causing him to jump in midair and lands. He's about to get ready to fight, but it made him stop and see Holy in all fours, looking at him and ready for orders which made him confused.
"YOU MEAN THIS DOG OBEYS ANYONE!?" Zoro yelled with white eyes and shark-like teeth in annoyance, slapping the air as Holy barks with a reply. He then takes his bandana off, decided to give him an order since he doesn't have time to deal with the dog. "In that case, just knock yourself unconscious."
And Holy did just that, knocking himself down to the ground with a bump on his head as Zoro sprints away and after Wyper and the giant snake since the giant predator swallow his crew whole in one bite. Though, he didn't realize it was Luffy who's responsible for causing the snake to go on a rampage.
"There's no time to waste, I gotta hurry and take care of that snake and the bazooka guy!" Zoro said.
And speaking of which, Wyper is still fighting against the giant snake which he was having a very hard time dealing with it. No matter how many times he kept firing his bazooka, it didn't even affect the giant-sized predator, but he doesn't have time because he wanted to take down Eneru and kill him.
"I don't have time for this fight to drag on forever! Why don't you just die already!?" Wyper snarls in annoyance.
Enraged, the giant snake bares it fangs and lunge at Wyper, which causes him to dodge and using the waver skis to leap in midair while making the predator crashed into the ground.
"This battle ends now! I'm through dealing with you!?" Wyper shouts as he aims his bazooka at the giant snake, fires while moving his weapon to make explosions.
He then lands while looking at the smoke that he caused, hoping that the giant snake is dead, and it proved him wrong when the giant predator merged of the smoke and lunged. Wyper quickly jumps in the air again and lands on the ruin, panting.
"No matter what I do, I can't send a damage this thing." Wyper grunts as the giant snake raise its head and roars, but Zoro is running and saw the Shandorian still having a hard time.
"I guess it's up to me to put an end to this!" Zoro grunts as he leaps in the air, slicing the giant snake which didn't seem to wound it as he lands and noticed that slashing won't work, either. "That attack didn't even phase him. Dammit! It's like his scales are made of steel!"
Inside of the belly, Nami and the others are wondering what was happening out there and neither would know if they'll be able to make it out. The giant snake the roared at the two individuals since they need to find a way to get out or they'll die from the snakes digestion system.
'Nami, Ventus, and Caius had better still be alive in there.' Zoro mentally thought and time isn't on his side.
Skypiea, Shandora
After Eneru used his Devil Fruit power to strike the Divine Warrior and Pagaya down with lightning, Robin, Leon, and Sareena were in deeply shocked with their eyes widen. Witnessing his power firsthand and it got them feared of Eneru using lightning powers, which would mean he's a force to be reckoned with. Eneru then dissipates the lightning powers with a smirk on his face.
"What exactly did you just do?!" Robin demands with a gasp, causing Eneru to open one of his eyes and looking at them.
"I showed mercy. A pitiful worm was in a great deal pain, so I saved him by releasing him from his torment. I performed my duties as God." Eneru stated.
"More like a genocidal murderer claiming as 'God' by killing is more likely." Leon retorted with a scowl which Eneru didn't take kindly at that but shrugs it off.
"It seems the young woman is still behaving desperately, but desperation is the most interesting emotion." Eneru said which made Robin and Sareena in dread while Leon just kept his scowling look on his face. "Soon enough, true despair will be something everyone will fully understand."
'This man is mad! He's gonna destroy everything on this island!' Sareena mentally exclaims.
'Sareena's right, he has Logia power!?' Robin mentally adds.
"And now, I must say what little time we have left here is coming to a close." Eneru said with a sinister smirk, tapping his shoulder with his staff. "This is the beginning of the end. I will now set into motion a series of events that will reveal my ultimate plan."
"What plan? What do you mean?" Robin questions with her eyes narrowed when Eneru chuckled and raising his hand up to the sky.
"The Sky Lord is calling you! Heed my call, Lumi-beings, come to me!?" Eneru shouts as lightning began to emit around him which made Robin, Sareena, and Leon gasp while obscuring their eyesight from the blind light. "Sango"
And with that, Eneru fires a vast, erratic, expanding stream of lightning upward, destroying the Upper Ruins which made Zoro, Wyper, and the giant snake noticed with dread and horror. Then, the Upper Ruins is now broken apart while Eneru smirks as lightning starts to vanish.
"What are you doing?!" Robin and Sareena shouts when Eneru laughs.
"It was I, who brought you and your friends here to Shandora! I beckoned you!" Eneru answered, causing Robin, Sareena, and Leon to up and saw rubble came fallen down after lightning strikes thanks to him as they widen their eyes in dread.
"I've never seen anything like this before! This man possesses such tremendous power!" Robin exclaims in shock.
"Damn you, Eneru!" Leon growled angrily, looking at Eneru.
Back at what was left of the Upper Ruins, everything in the ruins is collapsing and falling, including a certain unconscious reindeer. The giant snake roars while falling along with Zoro and Wyper, who's looking down to see the ground below them and it made them realize that it'll be very steep.
"The whole place is falling apart!?" Zoro said.
"It's Eneru!" Wyper told him, knowing who's responsible for interrupting the fight. "He's the only one who's powerful enough to do something like this!?"
"I better think of something!" Zoro said, looking down and noticing Chopper is falling and still unconscious. "Chopper?!"
Zoro then starts descending down to go after Chopper, which he's too far down and upward a little, using his butterfly swim to catch him. The large sized rubble falls right onto Zoro's back, making him grunt and falling faster as he then flies up again with a groan. Zoro recovers and quickly swims down, then catches Chopper. Wyper then noticed something down far below to the ground.
"What's that? There's a hole at the base." Wyper muttered while the giant snake grunts and falling.
Eneru laughs triumphantly and the rubble falls to the ruins behind him with his arms raise in the air.
"And now, this brings us to a climatic finale!?" Eneru declared.
Back at the giant beanstalk, Wyper, Zoro who's holding Chopper, and the giant snake continued to fall down while inside of the belly, Gan Fall, Aisa, and the rest of the Straw Hats found a way to escape since they need to get out and hoping to find Eneru. Gan Fall is riding with Pierre, Luffy holds onto Aisa, Nami is on the waver, and Ventus is holding Caius while using his wings to fly.
"I suggest we attempt our escape now!" Gan Fall suggested.
"Right! Yeah, it's now or never!" Nami agrees. "Luffy get over here and hold on to the waver! We're gonna finally get out of that snake!"
"Right! Hey you, hang onto me!" Luffy said, then pulls Aisa close to him and grabbing hold of the waver. "Ready! Start the engine!"
"Caius, now!" Nami shouts to the Reaper.
"Hell's Ingress" Caius then channels his scythe with dark magic, creating a portal as they entered inside in order to get out of the belly.
"Hell's Egress" Caius then opens the portal, which was outside but failed to realize that they're also falling which as well made Nami and Aisa scream.
"How did we get up so high?!" Nami yelled in panic.
"I have no idea!" Gan Fall shouts back.
"It must've happened at the fight where one of our crew, the Shandorians, and Eneru's goons are fighting each other while having a hard time going against the snake." Ventus guesses. "It also had to do with Eneru using his Devil Fruit to destroy the ruins and got us falling!"
Nami, Gan Fall, Aisa, and Caius didn't like what the young Dragoon has told them, which apparently, he might be right about it since he can tell whether he overheard the fight with his dragon ears or not. Luffy, however, is still eager to fight Eneru since he never gets the chance on getting to the ruins, but he's also responsible for making the giant snake going berserk while thinking he's in a cave instead of the belly. But unfortunately, they're still falling, and it made Nami and Aisa yell in panic while the rubble continued falling into the ruins below to the cloudy ground.
After all of the rubble has fallen down to the ground, Robin, Leon, and Sareena decided to investigate after Eneru has vanished with his lightning powers. It didn't take long for Leon and Sareena to figure out why the Upper Ruins were destroyed and falling into the ground since Eneru was the one who use that power. Robin looks up, noticing the black scorch marks on the clouds.
"What just happened?" Robin questions. "Why did all these ruins fall out of the sky?"
"It was Eneru." The voice of Ventus said, earned their attention as he places Caius down to the ground and lands next to him. "He's the only one who's responsible for this destruction."
Robin then understands and remembered of Eneru using his power to strike down, which happens to be the Upper Ruins. They then turned and saw Zoro lifting the huge rubble with a heavy pant, still holding Chopper.
"Swordsman/Zoro!?" Robin, Sareena, Leon, Ventus, and Caius said in unison.
"This is not my day!" Zoro grunts.
"Don't tell me you fell down here with all of this?" Robin asks, feeling concerned and astonished.
"Yeah, I did...and it almost killed me!?" Zoro exclaims as he stands up and pushing the rubble away.
"I'm amazed it didn't." Robin said which made Ventus and Caius sweat dropped since they're not surprised at that. "Are you sure you're alright?"
"Yeah, good to see you guys. Same to you kid, Caius." Zoro replied, turning to them and then scans the area by turning his head around. "Where am I? What is this place?"
"It's the City of Gold we've been looking for." Robin answered as Zoro, Ventus, and Caius walks to them.
"City of Gold, huh? It doesn't look much different than the ruins up above." Zoro stated, then turning to them. "Did you find the treasure?"
"We didn't." Robin replied. "There's no evidence that gold was ever here."
"And someone beat us to it before we even got here." Leon adds. "But if I can take a guess, Eneru must've sent out his group to get the gold."
"Why would he need that?" Ventus asks curiously.
"I don't know, but far as we know, it's not good." Sareena told him. "And it's beyond us why would Eneru wanted the gold. He's also looking for the Golden Bell."
"Golden Bell?" Zoro repeats.
"It's the bell Cricket mentioned back at Jaya, but apparently, the Golden Bell isn't lost. It was hidden somewhere." Leon explains. "Also, the belfry was probably engraved with a Poneglyph."
"Eneru is looking for the bell and have it for himself." Sareena adds with a scoff, crossed her arms. "Selfish bastard!"
"That make sense." Zoro said, turns to Ventus and Caius. "But how did you guys get here in the ruins and getting eaten by the giant snake?"
"Long story short, Luffy causes the snake to act berserk and have us being chased around this island and here in the first place." Ventus told him. "How he got inside is beyond me, but knowing him, he got himself into a fight as usual."
That made Zoro growl in annoyance with a tick mark on his head, thinking about killing Luffy for that stunt he pulled. It made Robin, Leon, and Sareena sweat dropped of his reaction.
"I keep wondering how you guys keep dealing with Luffy." Sareena said with a sigh. "I mean, I thought any of you guys are the Captain."
"We're not, Luffy's the Captain of the Straw Hats." Zoro points out which made the monk dropped her jaws. "Ventus' the second-in-command in case Luffy isn't here."
"What?!" Sareena exclaims, astonished. "You mean to tell me that Luffy is the Captain and no one even told me!?"
"That conversation is never mentioned, calm down!" Leon shouts. "Anyway, we need to find our crew so we can get to Eneru."
And with that, they decided to look for their crew since they're out of the giant snake's belly.
Speaking of which, the giant snakes head is stuck inside of the clouds, and it made the giant predator suffocating, trying to pull its head out while tapping its tail. The giant snake finally pulled it out and pants heavily, looking around while wondering what happened. Luffy and Aisa screamed while falling and then crashed into the ruins. Aisa struggles to free herself, but able to pull up with a pant and then turned to Luffy, who had a goofy grin while rubbing his head.
"Wow, that was one crazy ride if I do say so myself." Luffy states. "I think I wanna go again."
"Are you stupid?! I'd rather stay away from that snake!?" Aisa shouts in annoyance, points her finger at Luffy. "Why in the world do you want to go back in there?!"
"Sorry." Luffy said with a laugh, but earned a bonk on the head from a certain Dragoon.
"Not as sorry as you're about to be when I'm done with you!" Ventus shouts with a tick mark on his head. "Just be glad that we escaped! And because of your stupidity, you should be glad you're alive and not digested!"
"Eh, don't worry." Luffy said with a shrug. "My idea should be heading at the butthole of snake-"
"NOT HAPPENING, YOU IDIOT!?" Aisa and Ventus yelled, punching Luffy in the face with white eyes and shark-like teeth.
"Honestly, you're nothing but a pain in the ass!" Zoro adds with white eyes and shark-like teeth, then bonks him in the head. "Are you aware of how much of a hassle you are?!"
Sareena and Leon then walk to Luffy, starts beating the Straw Hat Captain silly which left Aisa agape while watching.
"Who's this?" Robin asks, turning to the young Shandorian.
"Her names Aisa, she's a Shandorian and got here by accident." Ventus answered.
"I see." Robin said with an understanding. "Although, it's good to see him out alive, though..."
Sareena and Leon then finished their minutes of beatdown, leaving Luffy bruised with bumps on his face.
"Next time you pull that stunt, we'll make sure you stay in that snake's belly!" Leon shouts.
"Right...I'm sorry..." Luffy said in a muffled tone as Ventus sighed.
"Anyway, we better get moving. Eneru should be about here in the ruins." Ventus suggested as they continued looking for their crew.
Meanwhile, Nami, Gan Fall, and Pierre regained their consciousness with the groan as they sat up.
"Thanks a lot, Caius." Nami grunts in sarcasm as Gan Fall placed his helmet back on his head.
"We just got lucky when we landed on these clouds." Gan Fall stated.
"And we were on a different location and not where Luffy and the others are." Nami adds. "I hope they're okay."
"Ventus can track us down with his keen smell, you have a reliable crewmate." Gan Fall told her. "And when push comes to shove, he can always find the rest of your crew and meet us there."
"Hey, where did we end up?" Nami inquires, looks at the ruins. "What is this place?"
"Well, to be perfectly honest, I have no idea where we are." Gan said as he and Pierre stands up with a lance against his shoulder. "But it looks like we fell into the clouds."
He then extends his hand to Nami, who accepts with a smile.
"Thank you very much." Nami replied as he helps her up.
"I've traveled all across the Upper Yard in my lifetime, but I've never seen this place before." Gan Fall said with a ponder.
Apparently, Wyper knows exactly what it is which made his eyes widen in awe and realizes that it's his ancestral home...Shandora.
"Could it be...is this really...our homeland?" Wyper asks himself, looking at the ruins that was once in a former glory for centuries and now the mother nature has taken it over, covering the entire structure with vines, roots, trees, grass, and everything in between. He then remembered of the words of his tribe getting ready for a fight against Eneru's priests and the Divine Warriors.
"LIGHT THE FIRE OF SHANDORA! IN THE NAME OF THE GREAT WARRIOR, KALGURA! LIGHT THE FIRE OF SHANDORA! WE'RE GOING BACK...TO OUR HOMELAND!"
"I finally found what I've been looking for, the proud city that my ancestors protected...Shandora." Wyper muttered.
However, he's not the only one who found Shandora, the giant snake looks around the area and it made the giant predator realized that it's also its homeland as well which gotten Nami's attention.
"I think the snake is looking for something. Either that, or Luffy is probably doing something stupid again." Nami muttered, watching the giant snake looking at the ruins. "Huh, that snake sure is acting strangely."
What's next is the giant snake is starting to cry in tears, realizing that it's also the home for its ancestor as well which made Nami slightly gasp surprisingly.
"I think it's crying." Nami said as the giant snake roared up in the sky with sadness, but the moment was ruined when Eneru is watching with unamused look on his face.
"What's the meaning of this ridiculous outburst? Just what you're getting yourself so worked up about?" Eneru asks in annoyance, smirks as he starts using his power. "You've always been annoyance to me...but no longer...El Thor"
With that, Eneru extends his arm and sending out lighting from above the giant snake and crash it down with a massive column with a swipe of his arm. It made Nami and Wyper widen their eyes in horror after witnessing of Eneru's power, the rest of the Straw Hats and Aisa were also watching, and it made them stunned. Nami then noticed her crew is here as she turned them.
"Huh? When did you guys get here?" Nami asks shockingly, earned a tick mark from Zoro.
"Wai-I-And what you doing over here before us?! How did you get here?!" Zoro grunted, trying to find the right words.
"Glad to see you're alright, navigator." Robin said with relief.
"Yeah, I think I'm alright, but I'm not so sure about that." Nami replied while looking at the severed burnt snake. "Gan Fall and I went in a different area after Caius opened a portal."
"Yes, and I can assure you, it's never my intention to drop us that far." Caius said, tipping his hat. "We were in a middle of a hurry."
"Though, we couldn't say the same for him over there." Ventus adds, thrusting his thumb at Luffy, who had a massive lump on his head. "Honestly, he's nothing but a pain in the ass."
Nami and the others thought the same thing after the stunt he pulled, but they don't have time for lecturing the Captain because they need to find the gold and Eneru. Wyper, however, was shocked that the giant snake is down with only one blow because of Eneru and it only got the Shandorian had a hard time fighting it.
"Just one hit! That's all it took! Eneru destroyed him when my bazooka couldn't even scratch the snake! And Aisa, I could only hope she somehow survived." Wyper said with a hardened glare and stunned, but felt Eneru in his presence after the dust is settled. Wyper snarled as he turned his body and fired his bazooka, but Eneru dodged that attack with ease while leaping into another ruin.
Wyper turned again, moving his bazooka and Eneru jumps up to dodge again, then throws the dial.
"Ball Cloud" The dial blows a cloud, conjuring into a ball as Eneru sits on top of it.
"Eneru!?" Wyper growled angrily as Eneru laughed while twirling his staff.
"That's no way to treat your host, now is it, Shandorian Warrior. I thought that you'd be happy." Eneru said with a smirk, stops twirling and placed it against his shoulder. "After all, it was I who brought you here and returned you to your homeland."
"Huh?!" Wyper snarled.
"Don't get so worked up, there's time for that later." Eneru told him. "This is the beginning. You don't want the fun to win so soon, do you?"
"This is a game to you?!" Wyper questions, angry about his twisted game.
"Yes, and a truly petty game at that for all of you." Eneru replied. "We'll be competing against each other for my entertainment."
Wyper then glances over his shoulder and noticed Gan Fall, Zoro, Robin, Sareena, Leon, Caius, and Ventus revealed themselves, slowly walking while Nami and Aisa hides in the ruin and holding Chopper. Luffy, however, is being tied up his own rubber hands thanks to Ventus and Leon.
"Well, that's unexpected, but still, I'm happy so many of you made it this far. I extend my welcome to you survivors." Eneru said with a laugh, smirks. "And now, the fun truly begins. This is a survival game to see how many people out of original 85, including myself, are still standing after 3 hours on this island. The last person left will of course be the winner, among you are few participants who entered late into the game, but I've decided to allow them to stay. It will make it all more interesting. Now, the 8 of us will continue on in the final stage of the game."
The atmosphere is getting more intense after Eneru made the announcement of his game, which Nami and Luffy overheard it.
'Did he say 8 people? Zoro, Robin, Caius, Ventus, Sareena, Leon, Gan Fall, bazooka man, and Eneru...That's exactly 8 people. Good thing he hasn't noticed that me and Luffy are here.' Nami mentally thought with relief as Eneru continued.
"In just a few minutes, the 3 hours will be up." Eneru said, then looks down at them. "Which means that there 11 people we have present here are 5 too many."
'Crap! He knows we're here!' Nami, Aisa, and Luffy mentally thought with their faces pale.
"The one thing I know is that God's Prophecy will never falter, because he's absolute." Eneru continued. "I'm curious to see how this person is going to die. Will you all fight each other? Will gang up on one of the weaker ones? Of course, you could all resist your fates and force me to pick."
Of course, neither of them are going to make a decision since it was obvious that they'll be fighting Eneru.
"What do you guys want to do?" Zoro asks, turning to Robin.
"I'm not going to kill anyone." Robin remarked with her hands on her hips.
"I won't either." Zoro replied, turning back to Eneru.
"Screw that, I'm not playing his game." Ventus adds with his eyes slitting into a dragon.
"I've come too far to get a chance to fight him, and I'm not backing down." Sareena said, readying her fists.
"Death is looming upon you, Eneru." Caius said with a harden glare, readying his scythe.
"I won't compete in your sick game." Wyper said.
"And I too, refuse to take part." Gan Fall adds as they turned to Nami, who yelps and her face was paled.
"Why do you gotta drag me into this?!" Nami yelled, turned to them as they readied their weapons and their fighting stance, aiming at Eneru.
"You're the only one dying today!?" Gan Fall, Wyper, Robin, Zoro, Sareena, Ventus, Leon, and Caius said in unison which made Eneru disappointed as he lets out a sinister chuckle and ready his power.
"Insolent fools." Eneru said as they final fight begins.
