So I found this pin on Pinterest that was a "365 Writing Challenge", and I decided to do it because my writing is HORRIBLE. I decided to post it on here so I have to follow through on this (hopefully).

Day 1: Write about a character after a New Year's party.

Nejire yawned loudly as Mirio and Tamaki helped clean up after the New Years party that they had thrown in their Agency, she had asked everyone what had their New Year's resolutions were, trying to find ideas for her own. She had gotten so many amazing answers, from hobbies and talents, to fixing their own flaws, she swept the floor in silence as she thought: what was her resolution? She had spent the whole night thinking about them, Gliding the broom across the floor being uncharacteristically quiet, she looked up when Mirio called her name.

"Yeah?" She replied, tipping her head as she walked over to him.

"I was just wondering why you were so quiet, you're hardly ever like that." He explained, putting away the last tables.

"Yeah, it was a bit disturbing seeing you sweep so silently," Tamaki piped in, picking up her pile and discarding it. "What were you thinking about?"

Looking them both over, she smiled at their curious expressions knowing she must look at them like that all the time. Remembering she didn't ask them what their New Year's resolution was, she couldn't stop herself from blurting.

"What's your New Year's resolutions?"

They both glanced at each other for a moment before they smiled, putting their hands on her shoulders.

"Of course you were thinking about a question," Mirio fondly said, ruffling her head affectionately as Tamaki nodded.

She blushed, even when she didn't want to ask questions she still did, it was like a habit she could never get rid of. Maybe that should be my resolution, stop asking so many questions , maybe that'd make her easier to talk to, not overwhelm everyone with her constant prods and curiosity.

"Hm, I guess my new resolution is to work to my goal of saving a million people, more than anything." He said with a confidence adding quickly. "Oh yeah, and helping Eri learn Math."

They laughed, remembering how much the poor girl struggled with her arithmetic often getting upset with the problems. They both turned to Tamaki after they were done, he froze for a moment before he visibly swallowed.

"Um, my resolution is…" he trailed off, looking to the side as he thought it over. "To be better at public speaking, or anything involving publicity." He mumbled, her and Mirio laughed, the day Tamaki didn't stammer, shield his face, or have a heart attack in front of people would be the end of the world. He sensed their disbelief, frowning he looked down at the ground.

"Oh, calm on Amajiki," she laughed, poking his cheek. "We're just playing with you."

"Right." He sighed, going silent.

After a few moments they both look at her, blue and hazel eyes staring into her eyes, she would fight the world to see those eyes every day.

"What's your resolution?" They both asked, catching her by surprise.

She bit her lip looking around the room, what was her resolution? Why was she the only person who didn't have one? Closing her eyes, thinking over everyone's resolutions she realized that most of them were centered around themselves, trials, goals, challenges that they wanted to accomplish, something that was important to them. Opening her eyes, she realized she was looking at the two most important things in her life, one was tall, blonde, with blue eyes, and the other was also tall, with purple hair, and hazel eyes. Both were equally amazing, with awesome Quirks, and both were the joy of her life. She didn't know where she'd be without them.

Beaming confidently she responded. "To be with my best friends forever."

Their eyes softened and they both embraced her tightly, she closed her eyes being in her favorite spot in the whole world, huddled between her best friends.

"Me too," they both confirmed, their firm arms and bodies warming her up, but not as much as their words.

She was pleased to have finally found a resolution, not just for this year, but for every year. Because no resolution is better than to be with your loved ones.

Oh my gosh, this story was so short, I hate writing short stories, but like, I had no idea for a New Years story. Guess it's my fault for finding this so late. Constructive criticism is always welcomed. Have a great day and God bless you all! 💞
