Stephen Strange,a neurosurgeon,severaly injures his hands in a Car Crash,leaving him unable to Operate. He learns about the powers of the Ancient One,and travels to Tibet seeking to have his hands healed.
Strange finds the Ancient One,who refuse to heal him because of his selfishness. During the storm,Strange sees Karl Mordo & his followers tried to break open the door. Strange calls out to them. Mordo was about to attack him for interrupting,but Wong came in and defeats them. While Mordo fled, Ancient One accepts Strange as his student.
Strange begun training to tap into the powers that lies within himself and the world around him. The Ancient One explains that Mordo wanted to create a perfect world,but he saw darkness inside and rejects him. And now he has served a trapped entity named Dormammu.
Wong shows Strange the Eye of Agamotto and the Cloak of Levitation. Mordo & his followers attacks Kamar-Taj. Strange puts on the Cloak and battle against Mordo's followers. Mordo fatally wound the Ancient One and opens a portal to free Dormammu.
Strange battles Mordo and defeats him. Dormammu devoured Mordo and fought with Strange. He tries to take the Eye to increase his powers. Wong reminded Strange that Dormammu was composed of corrupt magic. Strange manage to absorb Dormammu into it,killing him.
At the Sanctorum,Wong tells Strange that the primary purpose of the Sorcerer Supreme is to protect the Earth from mystical attacks like the one has been.
Mid-Credits:
Dormammu's twin sister,Umar learned about her brother's demise. She claimed that she knew he's too powerless. Umar's husband assures her that someone won't be.
