Hellish Hospital (part 1)

AN: Now we go on to the Hospital chapters. Like I said in the last AN the next chapter is being a pain in the neck but I hope you enjoy this one in the meantime. Time for shipping is over(ish). It is now time to get back into the yo-kai adventures with the ghost hunters club!

Disclaimer: I still don't own yo-kai watch jeez its only been a single chapter.

Several years ago there was a hospital founded in Springdale. It was quite the boon for the city, a real landmark for how far the city had gone. Yet there was a dark side to the hospital that no one knew about. This place of healing did help people but it also was the place where many people would suddenly go missing. As more and more people were lost to the hospital, suspicion grew. Stories were told that late at night odd experiments would go on with an eerie light flashing in the halls of the hospital and sometimes dire screams.

Eventually that hospital was shut down. Yet the stories didn't stop. Rumors only grew and grew. Yet the hospital in recent years has gone silent.

This is Nocturne Hospital

"Wow I can't believe we haven't heard of this one before right Lina?" Zoey said with disbelief but excitement.

"It definitely is interesting." Lina commented matching the disbelief of her friend.

"Well, Eddie and I did have to do a lot of searching. There used to be a lot of reports of screaming, spots of blood, eerie lights, and even monstrous sightings of odd humans, usually followed by a wickedly evil scream." Hailey explained showing her and her boyfriend's findings on her phone to the two girls.

"Probably just some broken electrical equipment left behind. Not very safe of the city if you ask me." Eddie said with a look of skepticism.

"That would explain why the stories have died down but what if it really is something more?" Hailey questioned.

"See that's my kind of attitude. What do you see in this hater of a skeptic?" Zoey complained to Hailey grabbing her by the shoulder.

"Eddie just really thinks that ghosts aren't real." Hailey defended, "He needs strong proof." The ghost hunter's club which had grown to include Eddie, Hailey, Nate, Katie, as well as the original Lina, Zoey, and Lucas was at the front wall of the Hospital in question.

"You should be careful here Nate this place is the most dangerous place you kids could have picked." Whisper explained, "Even I know it is crawling with yo-kai."

"Whisper is right we have to be on guard the entire time. We are going to have to protect Hailey and Eddie since they don't have yo-kai friends of their own. This will be our biggest challenge yet." Lucas said with a dry expression. Nate nodded.

"I agree with Lucas. This place is giving me bad vibes." Jibanyan said.

"Hey I mentioned how dangerous this place is too." Whisper complained at the cat.

"Katie we will protect you!" Komasan said, "we will be your guardians."

"Wow brother. Back before you would have been scared out of your boots to be in a place like this." Komajiro said, "Now you are braver than the first man who ate an oyster!"

"Thanks you guys." Katie said giving them both pets.

Frostina said, "we all got your back."

"Help me…" a slithery voice cried out into a whisper.

"Huh what was that?" Katie asked aloud.

"Hey let's go check it out." Zoey said who creeped up on Katie. Zoey then dragged Katie to the direction of the noise.

"Distract Eddie and Hailey for us will you?" Lina requested as she followed after the other two girls. Lucas and Nate were caught off guard but being the rather obedient boys they were, began to speak with analyzing Eddie and bubbly Hailey.

Lina, Zoey, and Katie shone their watches around the outside overgrowth of the Hospital and they all landed on one spot together. The lights revealed a small green dragon with a small crystal ball atop its head. It seemed to be trembling as its crystal ball was vibrating along with the dragon.

"Ah what a cutie." Zoey said in an unusually girlish tone.

"Hmm who is this yo-kai?" Lina asked. The dragon did not seem to answer too scared to move.

"This little scaredy lizard is called Draggie." Infour explained, "While he may seem weak he is actually a power house in his own right."

"What's wrong little guy?" Katie asked.

"WAHHHHH! YOU CAN SEE ME!" Dragie screamed ball jumping in fright.

"Woah woah! Calm down little guy what's the big deal so we can see you." Zoey said trying to quiet the dragon.

"Let him scream no one but us can hear him." said Lina rather creepily.

"Yeah but its annoying." Zoey complained.

"Agreed. Yo-kai are loud." Infour pouted arms crossed.

"Tell me about it." said Foiletta matching her fellow floating friend.

"AHHHH and you brought powerful yo-kai!" Draggie shouted jumping again. Komasan approached Draggie, he felt a kinship to the worried yo-kai. Komasan put a paw on Draggie's head patting it.

"Don't worry about. We're all friendly here." Komasan said. Just like that Draggie stopped crying and shouting and tilted his head up.

Katie joined and asked, "Yea we just want to know what's wrong."

Draggie looked at Katie now who flashed her usual friendly smile then back at homely Komasan. Draggie then started bawling his eyes out again.

"Uht what's wrong now?" Katie asked.

"Yea like I said we are really kindly." Komasan said.

"You are just so nice!" Draggie bawled snot and tears flooding around him.

"What is with this weird yo-kai." said Zoey annoyed.

"He's just a little kid." informed Infour.

"What a drag." Zoey said, "right Lina?"

"Ah you poor little guy." Lina said who joined Katie in comforting Draggie.

"I used to look after little yo-kai like you all the time." cooed Foiletta.

"UUUUh." said Zoey, "Ok little guy what is bothering you?"

"I already know but let's ask anyway." Infour said.

"Um well… I am scared to go into the hospital." said Draggie.

"Ok, that's understandable. It is pretty dangerous." Zoey said plainly.

"Yea but why do you want to go into the hospital?" asked Infour despite already knowing.

"I need… to get a check-up." Draggie said.

"A check-up?" asked a surprised Katie, Lina, and Zoey.

"Yo-kai need check-ups?" Katie asked.

"But you are spirits." Lina said.

"Well yea and sometimes that spiritual power gets messed up or thrown out of whack." Foiletta said, "Also some of us have unique bodily functions that need checking on."

"Like Kappas caps, Noko skin, cyclopes eye checkups, Robotic malfunctions etcetera etcetera." Infour explained, "Draggie here has a crystal ball that seems a bit cloudier than usual."

"Woah how did you know that!?" Draggie asked in amazement in an oh my swirls fashion, "You must be a powerful psychic yo-kai."

Infour blushed at the compliment, "Um well it's nothing."

"Either way, what's up with your crystal ball?" Zoey asked.

"Um well it usually allows me to show visions of the future or other words but it hasn't been working," said Draggie cowaring, "But now I am too afraid to go into the hospital."

Komasan then had a look of determination, "Don't you worry a hair on your head. We are going into that hospital. So you can tag along."

"Hmm if you are here for a check up then why are we so scared? Yo-kai here are going to be benevolent or weakened right?" Zoey asked.

"You would think that many 'medical' yokai would be helpful but yo-kai business in general can be quite questionable. Specifically in the human world." said Infour, "And some yo-kai that come here aren't weakened per say but out of control"

Draggie then whimpered and showed signs of crying again. "Oh no no I mean the place isn't just in shambles though. There are at least doctors and nurses." Infour said trying to make up for her error in tongue.

"Yea, and besides we have a bunch of powerful yo-kai friends you can count on us to protect you," Zoey added. Both looked panicked at Draggie crying again.

"Oh, well thanks, you guys!" Draggie said with a smile. Zoey and Infour then blushed a bit, "No problem." they both said.

"I guess it is settled then. Draggie is coming with us on our little adventure." Katie said. Lina and Foiletta nodded.

"I'll stick with Draggie," Komasan said.

"And I'll stick with Komasan," Komajiro said. Katie nodded in response.

"Sure. You two inform your 'partners'" Zoey teased with a grin, "I'll keep our normies occupied." Lina blushed a bit but Katie just agreed unphased. Lina was surprised at how Katie didn't react to the tease. Yet as they went to grab the boys Katie just assumed to tell Nate. Lina's mouth made an oh as she questioned the brunette's actions in her mind. She looked over to her human friend and two eerie and mysterious yo-kai companions who just gave her a shrug as if they were stumped too.

"So what's up Lina? I noticed you were talking with another yo-kai over there while me and Nate were talking with Eddie and Hailey." Lucas said. Lucas noticed Nate was shining his watch as Katie was talking to him most likely keeping the other boy in the loop.

"Well, we have another member of the club. This little guy is going get a check-up in the hospital and we are helping him out." Lina explained, "We are still probably going to explore but along with Draggie." Lucas nodded and looked over to Nate and Katie. Nate and Lucas shared a look and nodded to each other.

"Okay," he said. The four came right in time to see Eddie and Zoey bickering again.

"You guys break it up," Nate said getting between the two.

"Let's just go inside already." Hailey said, "I can't take the suspense anymore."

"Fine," Zoey said with a pout,

"Whatever," Eddie said.

"Hey, what were they fighting about?" Katie asked Hailey.

"Same old same old." Hailey said, "It's kinda dumb. I wonder if we'll see anything here!"

So the 7 children walk into the dark halls of the hospital. Now abandoned walls were cracked as were floorboards, plants began to grow around trying to reclaim the land as their own. The only light was natural light from cracks and holes in the walls and ceiling. It smelled of lab chemicals and illness even if not in use with a hint of char. Ominous air filled the kids' noses.

"Welcome… Children. We have a special offer today on a free check-up for all slippery tribe yo-kai. So come on up to the front desk to check in for your checkup. Here our lovely nurses will help guide you through the examination process." An old intercom speaker coughed out.

"Psych, that's so creepy!" Hailey said, holding tight to Eddie, "They know we are here."

"What nonsense this is obviously just an old glitched-out speaker. Odd how it mentions yo-kai though." Eddie remarked.

"That's because the gitch is from a yo-kai I bet," said Zoey with her usual creepy smirk.

"Yea right." Eddie retorted with a huff.

"Guys," Lina said to trying to get between the two.

While Hailey and Eddie were distracted Nate and Katie went to the front desk with Draggie and their yo-kai to check in.

"Oooooh free health care, what is a better deal than that!" said Whisper.

"Um, I find that more suspicious," Jibanyan said always the skeptic.

"Me too. I don't like how whatever said that knows we are here." Nate agreed.

"Oh don't worry I made an appointment," Draggie notified.

"Phew that takes a bit off my chest," Komajiro sighed.

"Hmmm I still don't trust this place much," said Frostina. All the while Nate and Katie were scanning all around with their watches finding plenty of yo-kai. There were a bunch of elderly yo-kai like Skranny and saint trick, sickness yo-kai like Coughkoff and Duchoo, and many fitness yo-kai like Payne and Darumacho.

"Woah this place is crawling with yo-kai," Katie said.

"Yea, this is the most yo-kai I have ever seen," Nate said.

"Have no fear." a feminine cutesy voice said, "Most will not break the agreement not to battle you."

"You may still want to steer clear of them. Yo-kai aren't known to be the best at following rules." a more sly and slick voice said. Nate and Katie looked around and saw nothing.

"Use your watches you two." Frostina suggested.

"Right." Both kids said. Individually the two shined their watches near the desk and two yo-kai appeared one was a pink mushroom lady dressed in a nurse attire while the other was purple and had a giant arm and a horn on its head.

"Hello and welcome to Nocturne Hospital." The pink yo-kai said.

"Hey Komajiro who are these yo-kai?" Nate asked not even bothering with his yo-kai butler much to Whisper's dismay.

"Well this pink one here is Nurse Tougus, she is a sweet as can-be caring yo-kai who helps heal those around her with tongue licks" Komajiro stated, "The other one is a Leadoni he guides people with his hand and flag but he doesn't always lead you the right way."

"I could have given the same information you know," Whisper stated.

"Yea right." Jibanyan retorted with an eye roll.

"You must be Draggie" Nurse Tongue said with a smile.

"Sure am," Draggie said.

"How precious." Nurse Tongue grinned, "I am guessing these humans will be accompanying you?"

"Yes, for emotional support." Komasan stepped up to add.

"Of course." Nurse Tongus noted jotting it down on her clipboard before handing it to Leadoni.

"Nurse Tongus and I need to get the rooms you will be going to prepped and ready so just follow the orders of the intercom," Leadoni said before both he and Nurse Tongus scurried off.

"Wow Draggie you don't seem so scared anymore," Komajiro commented with his usual cheeriness.

"Yea, I don't feel so worried with you guys here with me," Draggie said with a kiddish smile.

"Well that was kinda odd but helpful," Nate said making sense of this oddly normal paranormal encounter.

"Of course, there is hospital staff here Nate, this isn't a yo-kai zoo," Whisper said.

"MWHAHWHAHWHAHWHAHWHAHWHAHWHAHWHAHWHAHWHAAHHWHA!" a sinister laugh echoed throughout the hospital.

"Oh no!" Draggie cried out before tears started streaming, "Evil yo-kai!"

"Hmm no I am certain that was just a benevolent laugh." Whisper said not even trying to hide anything, no this was just him being oblivious, "We were just assured after all of no yo-kai mischief."

"I don't know about that Whiscream. I am pretty sure that was an evil cackle if I heard one," said Komasan gettign ready to fight gripping his pendent.

"Hey, what about the others?" Katie asked with a sudden look of concern.

"Yeah, they could be in trouble. Come on Draggie let's go." Nate said. Jibanyan grabbed Draggie's hand and they ran off.

"Wait we'rrre r-r-running toward the danger!?" Draggie cried. Lucas and Lina were trying to tear Zoey and Eddie apart from another squabble when Katie and Nate ran over.

"Guys, where is Hailey?" Nate asked.

"Uth." Lina, Lucas, Zoey, and Eddie paused before panicking.

"Zoey and Eddie were fighting over the source of the evil laugh we didn't even notice Hailey was gone," Lina said with a frantic look on her face replacing her usual calm smile or frown.

"It does help we don't know where she was before they were fighting on the evil laugh, these two were still fighting about the speaker," Lucas said with a sigh.

"I can't believe we already lost Hailey," Nate said.

"We said we would look after her." Katie said, "Zoey, Eddie any idea where Hailey is at or were you two too busy fighting." With an annoyed look on her face. Even Zoey cringed at that.

"Umm well?" Zoey said with nothing to say for herself.

"Actually now that I think about it that laugh kinda reminds me of Hailey's she sounds just like the villainess in this anime she loves." said Eddie.

"Where was this in our debate before?" Zoey taunted. A dark aura appeared behind them and they were afraid. They were both smacked with a paper fan by Lina and Katie.

"You guys are going to be split up. Lina, you and Lucas should take Zoey." Katie said.

"Yea and you and Nate should take Eddie." Lina said. Both Eddie and Zoey had shamed looks on their faces as if they were scolded by two moms.

Lina, Lucas, and Zoey went further down the hall to the left while Nate, Katie, and Eddie walked toward the waiting room. The laugh echoed throughout the hospital so it was hard to pinpoint where it came from for the kids. The chairs in the waiting room were old and there was no evidence of their old coloration. They definitely did not seem comfy yet yo-kai happily waited on them. This seemed to be where most of the yo-kai were concentrated. Unfortunately for Lina, Zoey, and Lucas, this was where Hailey was and she were right next to the most noticeable part of the room, the end of the hall that was blocked by the rubble of concrete stopping the group from getting to the stairs on the other side. There she was busting a gut at what seemed to be absolutely nothing.

"There she is." said Eddie, "Hailey" with a wave but she just looked at Eddie trying to conceal a burst of laughter that just spilled out of her anyway, "Huh?"

"Hmmmm, she suddenly seems jolly," said Whisper looking at Hailey with a smile.

"Um, that doesn't seem normal," Katie noted.

"Are humans supposed to laugh that much?" Draggie asked curiously.

"No, I think this is the work of a yo-kai," Komajiro said.

"I agree brother. Katie, Nate hit her with your yo-kai watches," suggested Komasan.

Katie and Nate nodded searching around with their watches. Finding to Nate at least familiar Lafalotta but accompanying the large purple-lipped yo-kai were two other laughing yo-kai with purple bodies cloaked in striped cloth one yellow and blue the other green and orange. They had wild eyes and were atop red and purple balls respectively. The Lafalotta looked a little off though she seemed to be frowning.

Katie asked, "Who are those yo-kai?"

Nate explained, "Well the one with purple lips is a Lafalotta she drains laughter from other people but I don't know about the other two."

Whisper said, "One moment I need to recall who these two oddballs are."

Komajiro explained, "That's the comedy duo Compunzer and Lamedian they essentially do the same thing. Despite trying to be fun they often fall flat in the joke department and they tend to produce awkwardness. They are actually pretty powerful, especially together."

"Wait a minyaute." Jibanyan interrupted, "If these three yo-kai are basically the opposite of humor how come that geeky girl looks like she is having the time of her life."

"I don't know." Nate said, "Hey Katie could you distract Eddie for me? I am going to talk with these yo-kai really quick."

"Sure thing Nate," Katie said before going over to her friend to come up with ideas for why Hailey was like this.

Nate said, "Hey what's up with you three?"

"Woah, woah. I can't believe my eyes! You can see us?" Compunzer asked, "Get it eyes, see us, hahahahah."

"Good one!" both Lamedian and Hailey said who apparently could hear Compunzer.

"Your name must be joe, cause you sure look like an average one!" Lamedian jabbed. This time Hailey and Compunzer fell to the floor in laughter.

"Hahahahaha this is why you are the better one of our duo!" Compunzer said, "Not better looking tho!" Hailey and Lamedian broke into laughter again.

"Haha these guys got you good Nyate." Jibanyan laughed.

Nate was having none of this, "Okay if you two don't stop inspiriting my friend here I am going to have to teach you a lesson."

"Oh, what lesson is that a lesson in how to be average?" Lamedian jabbed again causing a burst of laughter from Lamedian, Compunzer, Jibanyan, and Hailey.

"HRRRRM!" Nate was really losing his patience but then he noticed Lafalotta, "hey why so blue?"

"Um I think you mean purple!" Compunzer joked referring to the purple lips of the yo-kai.

Nate ignored the actually purple yo-kai and asked, "Hey are you okay?"

Lafalotta coughed out purple energy that then hit Hailey, "Oooof, I am not feeling good. Normally I am happy as a clam but because of this cough my power seems to have been reserved." She kept coughing all her laughter into Hailey.

"Ah and these two ordinarily lackluster jokesters must be taking advantage of that." Whisper said. With that, the smiles on the two purple yo-kai left their faces in his usual captain oblivious tone.

"What did you say?" Compunzer said with a look of disbelief.

"Those are fighting words." Lamedian said, "You squishy buffoon."

"And I thought we were the clowns around here!" Compunzer joked.

Whisper puffed up with a red blast of air, "Why you!" But Whisper was then drained dry by the two yo-kai.

"Whisper!" Nate said as his Butler fell flatter than the two yo-kai's jokes.

"Avenge me!" Whisper said with a wisp falling to the ground like a piece of paper.

Compunzer and Lamedian aimed their attack at Jibanyan who wore a look of fear, "Hey guys we were getting along."

Nate had to think fast but knew the perfect yo-kai to summon. "Come on out my friend, calling Noko, yo-kai medal do your thing!"

"Nice watch, too bad your time is up!" said Lamedian.

"You better watch! Out! Oh wait you're too late." said Compunzer.

"No Jibanyan" Nate cried.

"Looks like this is it." Jibanyan said accepting his fate but Draggie stumbled in blocking both absorption attacks with his orb.

"Draggie!" Nate and Jibanyan cried out.

"Oops sorry I walked in on your battle," said Draggie who picked himself up.

"Thanks for the save Draggie! Now for some backup to turn the tides," said Nate who let his watch do its thing.

The yellow snake yo-kai came with an a-game-worthy smile. "Noko, use your soultimate!" but the yellow snake fell flat on its head with an anticlimactic thud. Leaving the two jokester yo-kai silent before they bust another gut. However, this left them vulnerable to twin slashes from an enraged Jibanyan leaving their faces cut.

"How's that for revenyage you jerks!" said Jibanyan.

"AHHHHHHH our faces!" Both yo-kai screamed in agony.

"Way to go Jibanyan!" Nate said.

"Noko… Smile." Noko said while jumping up, unleashing an aura of healing on Jibanyan and Whisper bringing them both back to full vitality. Jibanyan went into a cutthroat fury on the two purple yo-kai making holes in their cloaks. Noko occasionally jumped in to headbutt one of the two yo-kai stopping them from any form of counter attack.

"Oh flip flap we are in over our heads," Lamedian said.

"Where are our heads anyway?" Compunzer asked, "I guess it is time for our ultimate attack!"

Lamedian shouted, "Millennium of Lame." while Compunzer shouted, "Lamest joke." Both yo-kai unleashed a wave of jokes that would devastate even the grandfather of the guy who invented the term "dad jokes" Jibanyan jumped out of the way behind Nate but Noko just stood there.

"Noko get out of there!" said Nate.

"This is bad no creature living or dead could possibly survive that combination of bad jokes," Whisper said.

The wave of bad jokes simply washed over Noko though.

"What!?" both purple yo-kai shouted in confusion but their moment was broken by the sound of laughter.

"Hahaha you guys can't even take on a small little snake!" said Lafalotta who was busting a gut.

"Lafalotta you are back to normal!" both Compunzer and Lamedian said with surprise.

"Huh, I guess I am!" Lafalotta said, "Must have been all the laughter you guys gave me and the smile Noko gave."

"Noko!" Noko said.

"Our jokes worked!" Lamedian said with amazement.

"That's all we ever wanted!" Compunzer said tears forming in his eyes, "Thanks little guy!" both purple yo-kai then pet noko.

"Hmm, it seems Noko was able to dodge the attack because both he and Draggie are slippery yo-kai. That must have given Noko a boost in evasion power." Whisper speculated but was ignored as Nate checked up on the situation with Jibanyan.

"So are we cool now?" Nate asked looking at the two jokesters.

"Yea, you helped us help others with our jokes," Lamedian said with a smile.

"We aren't actually injured we just wanna help yo-kai get better with a few jokes." Compunzer explained, "After all laughter is the best medicine."

"Not for a broken funny bone it's not," Lamedian chuckled, causing both yo-kai to burst into laughter.

"Don't quit your day jobs. But maybe consider slapstick comedy. I believe with this little guy's help and maybe my guidance you guys can be a comedy duo that actually helps out the hospital." Lafalotta offered.

"Yea that sounds like a plan," said Lamedian shaking the new found comedy manager's hand.

"Please help us." Compunzer got down on his knees and begged… Noko. Noko turned his head confused and licked Compunzer only saying "Noko." as a response before jumping onto Compunzer's head.

"I'll take that as a yes," said Lamedian with delight.

"Thank you for introducing us to such a wonderful yo-kai. Here let's be friends." said Compunzer giving Nate his medal.

"Mine too, " said Lamedian glowing blue, giving Nate his medal.

"Thanks, I am glad you guys can help yo-kai out," said Nate smiling back at the two giving them a thumbs up.

"I still don't really forgive you guys," said Jibanyan like the grumpy cat he was.

"Hey, what about Hailey?" Whisper asked.

"Oh right!" Nate said before rushing to Hailey Ann who looked confused.

"Oh hey, Nate how did I get over here?" Hailey asked waving at the boy in question.

"Um I don't know but we were all worried about you," Nate explained without really explaining.

"Oh sorry, I caused you guys so much trouble," Hailey said about to scratch her head but then a crystal shard fell out of her hand. "Huh, what is this?"

"I don't know?" Nate said confused as Hailey gazing at the new found item.

"Woah maybe it is some super cool crystal that can grant some amazing ultra z power," Hailey said suddenly excited like usual.

"No idea but I wonder where you got it," Nate questioned.

"My head is still a little fuzzy on that but I think it was in this wall of rubble here." Hailey said, "I guess I'll hold on to it for now." before pocketing it.

"Sure but for now maybe try to stick with the rest of the group," Nate said with a sweat drop.

Suddenly the intercom creaked out sounds. An odd eerie voice that was familiar to no one. "Patient No. 198 please head to examination room 1."

"Oh, that's me!" Draggie exclaimed.

"Woah, that intercom just turned on without warning. We should go check out this examination room 1," Hailey said, taking Nate's hand before dragging him along with her.

Soon Nate, Katie, Eddie, and Hailey got to the examination room where Lina, Zoey, and Lucas were already waiting. It was yet another dank place with signs of mildew and overgrowth fresh from the burnt debris. Yet the equipment looked like it was clean with no spot of dust to a careful observer; they could tell they were well used by mysterious entities in the room.

"Took you guys long enough!" Zoey complained.

"Oh good you found Hailey!" Lina said with a smile.

"Did you guys hear that announcement on the intercom too?" Lucas inquired.

"Yea! So this must be the examination room it was talking about right?" Hailey said with a newfound inquisitiveness.

"Hailey, what were you up to before?" Eddie asked concerned.

"Um, actually I really don't know," Hailey responded leaving Eddie with more questions and concerns.

"Hey, Hailey you should show everyone that weird stone thing you found," Nate said trying to change the topic.

"Oh yea!" Hailey exclaimed, "Psych check it. I found this super odd crystal." With that distraction, Nate let out a sigh of relief.

"Hmm let's see it," said Zoey trying to hide her curiosity by glancing away and crossing her arms.

"Interesting doesn't look like a piece of glass," Eddie said, analyzing the object in Hailey's hand.

"It looks like a piece of something," Lina added noting how it was shaped like broken glass yet had a rounded edge like it was a manmade shape.

"While they're busy let's help Draggie out," Lucas said calmly but startling Nate.

"You're right!" Nate said following his more experienced friend's lead, "Let's do it."

"Well, Draggie ready?" Katie asked looking at the slippery yo-kai.

"Ummm– sure!" Draggie tried to say confidently looking back up at the girl.

"Oh come onyan you practically faced down two powerful yo-kai even if they were just clowns." Jibanyan said, "You can deal with a checkup."

"We'll be with you all the way," Komasan assured. In the examination room Nurse Toungus and a pair of Leadoni were waiting by a scale near a wall with height measurements.

"Hello again Draggie," said Leadoni waving his small hand.

"Good see you all found your way quite easily." Nurse Toungus said with a smile.

"Please stand here." said the other Leadoni signaling with his hand to stand on the scale.

"O-o-okay." Draggie wimperred slowly stepping on the stadiometer/scale.

"So it seems you weigh about 41.66 pounds and stand at a height of 117.13 cm." a Leadoni stated scribbling down notes.

"Oh good that is perfectly normal for a Draggie like you." Nurse Toungus said with a smile, "Now we will test your eyesight in the examination room 2 across the building. You will be called when we are ready for you." With that the three yo-kai left the dank room to what could only be assumed to be another dank room.

"OOOh how I love medical examinations. Nate here is exactly 4 foot tall 6 and inches." said Whisper, "Same as Katie." Nate blushed at the last part then got angry at what was said next.

"Seems purfectly average for a 5th-grade boy," Jibanyan said knowing the comment would upset his human friend.

"Indeed." Whisper confirmed without a tease toward Nate but rather being distracted by his own supposed pride, "What sort of butler would I be if I didn't know my master's physical shape."

"I am not average!" Nate shouted in rage.

"Huh, it's cool we are the same height," Katie commented with her usual cute smile, immediately cooling Nate down.

"Well let's on skedaddle to the next room," said Komasan.

"Yea, the quicker we do this the quicker Draggie gets better," Lucas said giving a smile to Draggie. Yet when the three humans walked out alongside their yo-kai buddies they were greeted with a horribly putrid smell. A mix of rotten fruit and milk was vaporized in what is commonly known as a fart. The source seemed to have been coming from right below and behind Eddie who was now clenching his stomach and winced.

"Ah, Eddie…" Nate said covering his nose.

"He's been feeling pretty bad for the last few minutes. Don't know if it is something he ate or what but it has been really bad," said Hailey who like Lina and Zoey and at this point Nate, Lucas, Katie, Jibanyan, Komajiro, Frostina, and Draggie was holding her nose.

"I am really sorry guys I am not sure if I can keep going," said Eddie clearly in major discomfort.

"Finally got to you?" Zoey smirked as she teased with a sense of victory.

"No way," Eddie said before letting out another fart with a blush much to his friends' dismay. Hailey Ann basically fainted falling to the floor in weakness. Lina elbowed her friend's arm.

"Fine I'll lay off." said Zoey unenthusiastically, "But he is totally inspirited." waving away Eddie's latest blast of flatulence.

"Now now. Zoey, I know you are always eager to meet new yo-kai but this is in no way the work of a yo-kai." Whisper stated somehow unaffected by the smell still looking at his yo-kai pad.

"Umm, I already checked him out with the watch," Zoey corrected shattering the butler..

"So did I," Lina said, looking behind her friend at Whisper further breaking the yo-kai.

"Why didn't you guys do anything about it?" Nate asked slightly annoyed.

"Honestly it was kinda funny." Zoey snickered.

"Actually we don't know how to deal with these yo-kai. Infour passed out after Eddie's first fart." Lina said dryly much to Zoey's chagrin.

"What about you Foiletta?" Jibanyan asked knowing the toilet ghost was quite powerful.

"I deal with a lot of nasty yo-kai but without Infour's guidance I can't seem to land a hit in all these farts." Foiletta said annoyed at her lack of ability, "I am not even sure what I am fighting."

"Here let's try this." Katie said as she activated the dart function on her watch shooting a red needle into the cloud of stinky gas.

Komajiro's yo-kai pad gave a notification ring and he immediately checked it, "Ah, says here that smell here is a Cuttincheez. He manipulates odors and magnifies them to smell really bad like the absolute worst."

"Don't worry I'll take care of him easy peazy." said Komasan readying for a fight.

"Wait you idiot. If you shoot fire here you'll blow us all up." said Foiletta smacking the guardian yo-kai.

"Jeez! Talk about high stakes nyan." Jibanyan said, "Guess that means I should stay back too."

"Same here I create sparks too." said Komajiro as the three backed away from the situation.

"Luckily I can hit at least Cuttincheez with my spells." commented Foiletta preparing a curse.

"Frostina can help out too." Katie said volunteering her partner yo-kai. Frostina was ready to help in the way her usual two battle companions could not mimicking how they would prepare to cast their elemental spells.

"Hmmm, I think I can call some backup that would be perfect for this situation." Nate said fishing out a medal from his pockets.

"Hey maybe you should keep using that watch of yours?" Draggie suggested looking up at Katie.

Katie looked down at the young yo-kai and asked, "Why, Draggie?"

"I can't see too clearly but my crystal ball is giving me a faint outline of 2 other yo-kai." Draggie said pointing into the smokescreen of smell with a focusing squint as if he was trying to see through the fog.

"Okay, Draggie. Thanks for telling me." Katie said before shining her watch's light where Draggie pointed Katie then fired her dart at another yo-kai. Again Komajiro's yo-kai pad gave a ding.

"Okay that other yo-kai there is Cheeksqueek." informed Komajiro reading off the pad.

"Ah yes Cheeksqueek the evolved form of Cuttincheez." Whisper tried to explain finger in a point.

"Um actually though they are related and look alike they aren't related through evolution. In fact, Cuttincheez is stronger than Cheeksqueek." Komajiro corrected, "Says so here." Unaware her just broke Whisper into a million pieces.

"Lina shoot your dart too. We can't take these guys out one by one. We'll get gassed out if we do that." Foiletta said preparing to shoot where the dart would fly.

"Okay, that makes sense," Lina said. The banged girl lifted her wrist and activated her watch's target function. She then fired a needle into the fart cloud.

Foiletta pulled out a yo-kai pad and said, "Hmm okay this is another Cheeksqueek. Annoying that we have to deal with these three but okay here we go." Foiletta then tossed another inspirit at Cheeksqueek weakening it.

"Okay here is some assistance. Come on out my friend, calling Dimmy, Yo-kai medal do your thing." said Nate. Nate inserted a medal and out of his watch came a blue spiraled light.

A purple ninja yo-kai appeared as quick as he disappeared into the gas. A shout could be heard from the distance, "talk about being silent but deadly" followed by a pair of chuckles. Cuttincheez and the two Cheeksqueeks seemed to be charging up in energy.

"Oh nyo I think they are going to blow!" Jibanyan said seeing the sight.

"That's not good they could wipe out this hospital!" Komajiro said panicked.

"Golly that's not good at all no siree." Komasan agreed.

"We weren't quick enough." Foiletta said with an expression of defeat on her face drooping her aura charged arms.

Both Cheeksqueeks let out a blast of gas in a wave of green from their mouths/butts, "Stinky Smog."

Cuttincheez also let out a stinker straight in the middle amplifying and worsening both Cheeksqueeks' farts, "Toxic Gas."

"Frostina, try blocking it with your ice." Katie commanded with a look of determination swing her hand out.

"Okay it's worth a shot." Frostina said, "Snow Sherbert." Frostina let loose all of her power freezing the stinky gas in its tracks before it could do any damage. Right as that occurred Dimmy appeared behind the butt yo-kai and knocked them all out with throat chops.

"Frostina freeze their mouths." said Katie pointing at the now visible butts.

"Smart then they can't use their inspirits or release gas!" Zoey complimented.

"Nice idea Katie." Nate said giving the girl a thumbs up. Frostina then coated the Cuttincheez and Cheecksqueeks' mouths with a layer of ice that stopped their farting. Eddie went back to normal.

"Ahhhh, excuse me." the short boy said with a blush.

"Nice work out there Dimmy." Nate said. Dimmy was about to give a thumbs up when a blue light spiralled around him.

A shadowy scroll appeared where Dimmy once was it was blue in color, wore a dark ninja outfit, and held a large shuriken but this yo-kai had the same yellow eyes that asked for no attention like Dimmy.

"Woah Dimmy evolved!" Lina said impressed with the new yo-kai.

"He looks really cool," Zoey said admiring the yo-kai she wished she had befriended.

"Don't mind me," Nul said disappearing into the shadows.

"Woah he disappeared!" both girls exclaimed even more impressed.

"Who is this?" Nate asked referring to the new form of his friend.

"Well, this is obliviously Blandon the evolved form of Dimmy." Whisper said a-matter-a-factly, "He like Dimmy makes things less noticeable but has furthered his ninja training so now he also has combat skills as well as already incredible stealth skills."

"Actually this seems to be Nul who is pretty close to Blandon but even more powerful practically a shadow able to sneak up on even the Oni. A master ninja." Komajiro explained.

"UHHHHHHHHHH! Um that is precisely what I was about to say!" Whisper tried to salvage his situation despite being surrounded by looks of non-belief.

"Wait but isn't Dimmy supposed to evolve into Blandon? How come he's Nyul?" Jibanyan asked in confusion.

"Well yes sirie, but I think the fact that it is extremely dark place and Dimmy has been doing quite a bit of training plus his friendship with Nate led him to a greater evolution into a stronger yo-kai." Komajiro hypotized. The yokai all nodded in agreement to Komajiro's statement.

Katie asked, "Eddie are you ok?" Her face was scrunched into a worried frown.

Eddie said, "Yeah. My stomach feels a lot better. I think I got all of that gas out of my system. Sorry I let out so many stinkers I don't know what came over me."

Zoey pop in with her usual sly smile, "Maybe you should see a doctor about that. We are in the perfect place for it. Maybe a mad doctor could perform some experiments to stop you from ever farting again."

Eddie said insulted, "Hey I know my farts were bad but you don't have to go that far. Besides there is no mad doctor here."

Zoey said, "So you won't believe in mad doctors either. Do you even believe in anything?" Thus another match between Eddie and Zoey started.

Meanwhile Katie was approached by Cuttincheez and the two Cheeksqueeks. Who's mouth's were thawed out.

Cuttincheez said, "We are so sorry about all that farting with your friend back there." applogetically squishing its butt.

One Cheeksqueek explained with a similar apologetic tone, "Yea we have been having problems lately controlling our farts."

The other Cheeksqueek added, "We came here to get it checked out but no one could even see us in our stink cloud let alone help us."

Cuttincheez and the two other butt yo-kai final smiled and said, "It seems freezing our mouths stopped the excess farts! We're cured!"

Komasan said, "Seems like y'all had a sorta fart-fever"

Draggie came over and said, "I t-think tt-hat is right you guys were feeling s-sick ss-o your yo-kai self-defense mechanism kicked in. I cry and rocks starts to rain when I get super scared. But maybe when you aren't feeling good you guys let out a bunch of farts."

Whisper said, "Ooh that is absolutely absurd."

Before Whisper could even start his rant Komajiro came in with his yo-kai pad and said, "No Draggie is right. It says herie that when some yo-kai get sick they kinda have a…diarrhea of inspiriting."

"Ewwwww." most of the yo-kai groaned out.

"How ghastly," Whisper said.

Cuttincheez said, "Either way we would like to thank you and your friends. We are eternally grateful." Cuttincheez and Cheeksqueek glowed blue and released 5 sets of medals.

Meanwhile, Hailey ran up to the rest of the group along with Eddie who helped her up and apologized about his flatulence malfunction.

"Guys, Guys! Look what we found! Psych!" the purple-haired girl said. She ran while holding up a blue shard.

"Hmmm another shard similar to the one you found earlier," Lina commented.

"Maybe they are related?" Lucas suggested.

Both Lina and Lucas asked at the same time, "Where did you find it?" They then blushed for no reason they could comprehend other than being "too" in sync

"This time Eddie found it in his pocket." Explained Hailey.

"Hmm, maybe you farted it out with all that other mess," Zoey suggested with a completely straight face. Eddie burned with embarrassment and rage. He looked like Nate's mom when her son did not clean his room.

Hailey said, "You guys we don't have time for this. We need to go check out that next room." Hailey then dragged Eddie to the next room by grabbing his arm. Eddie glared at Zoey who wore a smug look of victory. Nate and Katie walked with the pair at a slower pace with their yo-kai praising Nul and Frostina for their skill. Infour awoke groggy and disheveled looking miserable with all four eyes drooping alongside her frown.

"What did I miss?" the decimated psychic asked.

"Oh nothing much just the best moment of my life. I can lord this over Eddie forever." Zoey said.

"Zoey, that isn't very nice. Especially when we all know he was inspirited by a yo-kai." Lucas said.

"Such a goodie-two-shoes" Zoey complained.

"Don't you want the challenge in finding something more clever to infuriate Eddie with?" Infour inquired.

"You're right. But this one is just so perfect!" Zoey said, "This is the best moment I will find to mock Eddie with."

"Zoey…" Lina started.

"Wait look Zoey is being inspirited." Infour pointed out. Lina shined her watch and saw alongside Zoey were three yo-kai. One an old man dressed in yellow holding white fans. He looked really happy and smug. There was also a posh-looking woman with a rather rude-looking gaze. Along with them was a larger balloon yo-kai with a mustache looking very proud of himself.

"Ah come one we were just starting to inspirit her." the woman said her glare sharpening.

"Hehe we were doing such a great job how could we not be noticed." the older man said.

"Foiletta who are these yo-kai?" Lina asked.

"Well, I would recognize these two annoyances any day. The old man is Papa Windbag. He basically inflates people's egos which goes perfectly with Snobetty who acts like an extreme snob and makes other people act like snobs too. I have never seen the other one though." Foiletta explained.

"That is Hot Air Buffoon. He basically does what Papa Windbag does." Lucas explained.

"So that is why Zoey was so fixated on tormenting Eddie today." Lina said.

"That is just wishful thinking." Foiletta said.

"Yup." Infour said both yo-kai partners doubting Zoey's maturity and ill-will toward Edward.

"Oh yeah we just started. We wanted to harness that lording energy while we could." said Papa Windbag.

Zoey snapped out of her inspirit and said, "Hey no one inspirits me."

Snobetty smirked and said, "Hehe, you were so happy to delight in your friend's embarrassment at being influenced by a yo-kai but you were influenced so easily as well. Haha" Snobetty violently laughed. She briefly paused to glare at her two associates who then joined her in her laughing. Zoey blushed beat red. Lina and Lucas sweatdroped.

Zoey said, "You guys are jokes of yo-kai. Infour let's get rid of these pests"

Infour said, "Knew you were going to say that. Well let's get this over with. These guys are going to be annoying and I know you aren't going to want Lina or Lucas to help you so can you call me some backup."

Zoey said, "Not yet let me see what they can do. Strike first."

Infour said, "worth a shot." The dog yo-kai then fired a barrage of rocks at the 3 arrogant yo-kai.
"How dare you attack with this filth," Snobetty said before casting her inspirit on her two companions, "Don't just stand there go get her."

"Come on are you guys really just gonna let her boss you around like a jerk?" Zoey asked, "You can't be okay with her cowering behind you both."

"Well to be honest we love the spotlight," said Papawindbag.

"Yup, we are the stars here," said Hot Air Buffoon. Papa Windbag sent Hot Air Buffoon rushing off a gust of hot air leading to a powered-up inflated punch slamming into Infour.

"Dang that was powerful," Zoey said.

"What did I tell you these guys are so confident that when together they are basically all boosted in rank." Infour said.

"Pathetic," Snobetty said. The harsh words had a chilling effect on Infour.

"Do you want help now Zoey?" Lina asked.

"No thanks. I have a personal grudge here. I will call some back-up though." Zoey said. Zoey then prepared her yo-kai watch, "Calling the ghostly souls from beyond, yo-kai medal unleash."

Dromp appeared as a muddy wall able to cover the room. Like a wall Dromp took crackle of lightning from Papa Windbag's fans, Snobetty's insults, and a punch from Hot Air Buffoon.

"Great job Dromp," Zoey said.

"Thaaaaanks." Dromp said.

"Battle strategies?" Zoey asked looking at Infour. Infour processed for a moment before saying, "Ok Dromp prepare to unleash a powerful elemental attack then throw it with as much force as you can."

"SURE THING." Dromp boomed condensing a ball of mud into a ball of rock tossing the ball forward with the force of an earthquake.

"I will protect you guys." Hot Air Buffoon shouted before puffing out his chest ready to tank the attack.

"Really throwing rocks is your brilliant plan?" Zoey asked disappointed.

"Don't doubt me," Infour said preparing to take control. Infour's four eyes glowed as the same light covered the massive rock Dromp threw. Right as it was going to hit the balloon yo-kai the rock shattered into a cluster of pieces that then flew around the Balloon yo-kai and the barrage hit Papa Windbag right where it hurt with an elemental weakness.

"OOOf I at least am going out in a memorable way." the yellow-clad yo-kai said before poofing into a wisp.

Snobetty was also about to be hit but then with a wave of her wrist, the rocks were set flying into Hot Air Buffoon who then fell defeated and deflated.

"As if I would let a bunch of dirt beat me," Snobetty said.

"Darn it, she deflected it," Zoey said.

"Actually, we have her on the ropes." Infour said, "Whenever someone battles a team with Snobetty, Snobetty is always the last one standing. Snobetty has a skill to pass her defeat onto her teammates."

"What a horrible skill," Zoey said.

"Hey, if they allow me to be hit at all they are not worthy of even existing," said Snobetty.

"Let's finish her Zoey," Infour said, "She is an easy target with no defensive abilities."

"Dromp shall smash!" Dromp shouted.

"Dromp wait," Zoey said, "Snobetty why are you even here at the hospital?"

"Hmpt that is none of your business," Snobetty said. Zoey then gave her a suspicious look and Snobetty said, "Well fine, to be honest, my little skill has actually hurt most of my allies and followers. So I am here to get them healed. You just took out the last of my bodyguards."

"I see. Why did you inspirit me then?" Zoey asked.

"It is what I do. I try to make people feel good about themselves, and give them confidence," said Snobetty, "There are you happy?"

"Yes actually," Zoey said her normal grin gone showing actual seriousness, "Here take these." Zoey took from her bag a bunch of pouches of medicine.

"Huh, what?" Snobetty was confused.

"I did take out your bodyguards when we could have just talked it out. I am sorry. We are in a hospital I shouldn't have lashed out at you. I hope you and your friends get better." Zoey said.

Snobetty's expression changed to be sincere, "Thank you, child. I greatly appreciate this. This is more than enough for me and my followers."

Zoey said, "Just in case you get into trouble again. That way you don't need to go to the hospital as much."

Snobetty said, "Here take this, just in case you need a little class in your life." Snobetty glowed blue and Zoey received copies of her medal as well as her two bodyguards.

"Huh, wait your medal and your others?" Zoey said confused, "You can do that?"

"I am sure my guards would like to be your friends too even if they can't give you their medals right now." Snobetty said with a smile.

"Give them my regards," Zoey said.

"Oh and take this I have no use for it," Snobetty said, "It is a trite object but I wonder if it is a hidden gem overlooked by snobs like me." Snobetty handed Zoey a crystal shard.

"Wow Zoey that was very mature," Lina said to her friend.

"Thank you, I realized I should take a page out of your book Lina along with Lucas and Nate. Heck if that average Joe can show a little maturity then I can too." Zoey said.

"Just so you know she is still going to take every chance she can to annoy Eddie," Infour said.

"That is fair," Lucas chuckled, "Gotta have fun even if you are mature."

"Lucas gets it." Zoey said, "Come on I should probably give this to Hailey" holding her matching stone in her hand.

"Yes we have spent more than enough time here," said Foiletta. The three original members of the Ghost Hunters Club ran to the next examination room. In that room, Eddie and Hailey were being distracted by Nate while Draggie was being helped by Katie and Komasan was taking an eye exam.

"Your eyes are perfectly healthy Draggie," Nurse Tongus told the young yo-kai, "However it seems your dragon orb is kinda being clouded over so you can not use your powers, we will need to take a closer look at that later dearie."

"Oh no, am I-I-I going to be ok-k-k?" Draggie asked.

"Well otherwise you seem to be in good health," Nurse Tongus said, "But we should still check on your heart just to be sure."

"Just follow the announcement on the loudspeaker," instructed Leadoni.

"Ok will do," Komasan said.

"See we are almost done with your examination," Komajiro said trying to cheer the dragon yo-kai up.

"Oh there you guys are," Hailey said.

"Where were you guys?" Eddie questioned.

"Have any more luck with encounters than we did?" Nate asked with his hidden question.

"Not really," Lucas said. However, Nate knew that they were being held up by a yo-kai.

"I'm telling you this place may be spooky and dangerous but it isn't haunted." Eddie said.

"Well then why are we still here?" Zoey asked.

"You do have to admit it is interesting," Hailey said, "Plus Eddie is a scientist he needs to prove there are no ghosts here." much to the pleasure of her boyfriend.

"Well onto the next room then?" Lucas asked.

"Let's go." Nate said.

"Where are we headed next?" Zoey asked.

"Yea the loud speaker hasn't given us any direction." Hailey said.

"Probably finally died out." Eddie explained.

"But there is still quite a bit to explore." Hailey said.

"Hmmm maybe we should find where the loudspeaker room is." Eddie suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea I can prove that this isn't some flook," Zoey said.

"Let's head over then." Nate said. So most of the group followed to the main office. But Lucas, Lina, Foiletta and surprisingly Draggie stayed behind.

Lucas saw Lina stand still looking toward a group of yo-kai. One was a broken umbrella that was flipped upside down. The others were a group of orange butterflies and a larger purple butterfly.

Without breaking her gaze Lina said to Lucas, "Draggie told me that it looked like those yo-kai needed help." Draggie nodded to Lucas in affirmation.

"Well let's go check it out." Lucas said. So there the two went.

"What seems to be the problem?" Foiletta asked for her two human companions.

"What!? What are you doing here with a bunch of humans?" the white yo-kai umbrella asked.

"Well my friends here just want to know if they can help you out in anyway." Foiletta informed.

"Oh sure you can, these her pests keep well being pests." the umbrella yo-kai said trying to swat the two bug yo-kai.

"We aren't pests we just want to help you get better soon." the larger butterfly yo-kai said.

"Wait first off who are you?" Lina asked.

"Name's brokenbrella, I might be worn but don't wear out my name. It's all I have left." the umbrella said.

"I am Betterfly and these are my Enerfly." The larger butterfly yo-kai said. "Brokenbrella we can help you be at your best. Just let us give you a boost."

"I don't need no boost I just need to see a doc re-quick to get my canopy adjusted." Brokenbrella said.

"We can help you heal faster though." Betterfly said.

"Are you guys like somesort of nurses for the hospital?" Lucas asked.

"Well no, we are mostly just a group of yo-kai that volunteer to bring more positivity into the hospital. We are also renouned for our healing though as well." Betterfly explained.

"Well if you ain't a doctor then I don't want 'cha touching me." Brokenbrella said.

"Wait if I just…" Lina said and she quickly fixed Brokenbrella folding him back into place. As Brokenbrella was propped into place a small shard fell from him and Draggie picked it up.

"Hey! … I'm fixed just like that. I guess I gave a big fuss for no reason. Thank you here take my medal, and Sorry Betterfly and Enerflies for being all standoffish." Brokenbrella glowed blue and released his medal to Lina and Lucas, before bowing sheepishly to the butterfly yo-kai.

"We are just happy you are fixed, and to make sure you stay well I will have an Enerfly watch over you for the time being." Betterfly said. An Enerfly then started floating above Brokenbrella.

"Thank you. I really appreciate it." Brokenbrella said.

"Here take my medal as well, any friend of yo-kai kind is a friend of mine." Betterfly said releasing her medal to both Lina and Lucas.

"Wow good job Lina." Lucas said.

"Thanks, it was nice to help out and make a couple new yo-kai friends." Lina said.

"And with no fighting either." Foiletta said proud of her friend.

Draggie tugged at Lina's dress and said, "Um… I found this when you… erm fixed Brokenbrella." Draggie showed Lina the shard and she took it.

"Curious another piece of whatever Hailey Anne found." Lina said.

"That must have been what was stuck in Brokenbrella." Lucas said.

"Patient No. 198 please come to examination room 3" the loud speaker called.

"Oh we better get you there Draggie." Lucas said.

"And meet back with your other friends." Foiletta said.

"Right." Both Lina and Lucas said before they went off to the next room.

"Hmmm oh dear." Nurse Tongus said.

"Isn't this quite the pickle." Leadoni said. Lina, Lucas, and Draggie walked into a room where Eddie and Zoey had swapped right eyes and had no mouths. They looked like 2 eyed cyclopes. Hailey and Katie swapped bodies with Komajiro and Komasan respectively. Nate was a manikin. Enfour had no eyes, Whisper's body had no face, Frostina was also a doll, and Jibanyan was just a floating head with one of Infour's eyes.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH What in tarnation!" Komasan shouted on Katie's body.

"Oh my swirls brother you're on Katie's body." Komajiro said.

"And you are on that Hailey girl's" Komasan said.

"OMG I What the heck am I!" Hailey said in her new orange body, "I look so cute!"

"Komasan don't burn my hair with your eyebrows." Katie said looking at the flaming Yo-kai's eyebrows being scarily close to her hair.

"What's going on? WHAT'S GOING ON?!" Infour screamed into the void. Despite not being able to talk Eddie's body looked panicked shaking all over his hands frantic. This completely contrasted Zoey's still somehow bespeckled eyes which were eye rolling at Eddie before furring into a glare. Eddie's eyes looked ever so confident like he was trying to give an explanation despite not having a mouth. Meanwhile Zoey's body didn't really look like it knew what to do with itself could not sit still pacing non periodically.

Both Lina and Lucas were stunned in silence. "This has to be the work of a yo-kai." both said. *Mruh* *Mruh* The two looked to the ground and saw Whisper's yo-kai pad on the ground. Lina picked it up both Lucas and Lina gasped in shock. The blue pad fell out of her hand.

"Ah! How rude! Is that anyway to treat a sophisticated piece of yo-kai technology!" The yo-kai pad had Whisper's face on the screen!

"Whisper!" Lucas and Lina both said.

"Why yes it is I the gracious and graceful yo-kai butler." the yo-kai paded yo-kai said.

"Whisper what happened?" Lucas questioned the yo-kai pad like a certain ai.

"Yeah what happened to everyone?" Lina asked.

"Um well you see we were coming up to the next examination room when um… urh we." Whisper stumbled on his words.

"You don't remember do you?" Lina and Lucas said with matching unsurprised faces.

"HEY HOW DARE you if anything my memory just got better with it being infused with my yo-kai pad. I could tell you anything on the web."said Whisper.

"Like you could tell anyanonye anyanthing else nyan." the floating Jibanyan head said.

"Ah Jibanyan do you remember what happened?" Lina asked.

"I do nyot just remember but with onye of Enfour's eyes I knyow all." Jibanyan, "It all started with Eddie and Zoey arguing as usual. When suddenly they went silent. We saw them and they no longer had faces. Nate and Katie began looking for a yo-kai when suddenly Nate fell to the floor. Katie, Whisper, and I tried to see what was wrong but when we flipped Nyate over he turned out to be a mannequin. Katie and I screamed but we couldn't hear Whisper who suddenly also lost his face. The same had also happened to Enfour who had just lost her eyes and also started screaming. Komasan and Komajiro were going to try to find what yo-kai caused this but then they swapped bodies with the girls. By then I had turned into the floating head I am nyow with infinite knyowledge. Frostina panicked so she prepared her soultimate with nyo particular target but then like Nyate got turned into a doll. All of this is being caused by those three yo-kai over there. Lucas and Lina looked over to see three yo-kai all seeming to be panicked. One was a female yo-kai wearing a pink kimono and sandals however her movements looked stiff and inorganic like a puppet with how her arms could only move in right angles and staggered in walking. The most confusing of all was she did not have a face. There was another yo-kai that seemed stuck as a statue with a well made up face in a blue kimono. Finally there was a yo-kai that looked like a mixed up manikin. Arms were on the hips the foot was on the neck and head was nonexistent but the face on his chest. His eyes were on his chest, his nose was on his back and other leg was on his shoulder.

"Um well this is very weird," said Lina said, "even for yo-kai standards. Which yo-kai are these?"

"I don't know? I have never seen these yo-kai thought they kinda look familiar." said Lucas who was a little confused by what he was seeing and the fact this was a yo-kai he didn't know.

"I also can't recognize these yo-kai either." said Foiletta, "Though they do look kinda familiar they seem filled with yo-kai energy."

"Based on my nyow inyfinite knyowledge I knyow that these three yo-kai are Mimikin, Jumbelina, and Faceoff but currently their respective powers have become tangled up with each other and thus they are all mixed up nyan. Anyand because they are mixed up they canyan't control their mixed up powers. Usually Jumbelina and Faceoff hate running into each other because they fight over inspirt control with only onye being able to be active at a time. Nyormally Faceoff wins because it is a classic yo-kai but it looks like these two were inyterrupted by a Mimikin which poorly mimicked Jumbelina's power but amplified it by mimicking a classic yo-kai resulting in swapping the no face of Faceoff and Jumbelina's face as well as their powers plus Mimikin's own static movements. This led to Jumbelina freezing Faceoff stiff with her nyew nyo motion ability combining Faceoff's nyo dominance and mimikin's static motion. However Faceoff now a statue still had inspiriting power causing both Mimikin and Jumbelina to start moving very ridgedly while also reversing their movements. This confusion in motion caused Mimikin to inspirit itself with Jumbina and its own power causing it to rearrange its body like a rubix cube further confusing it. With all that confusion and lack of control we end up in the situation we are in nyow." Jibanyan stated, "yuck I sound like a knyow-it-all like Whisper."

"Why thank you Jibanyan." The yo-kai in question replied with a smile on the screen.

"You knyow but actually competent" Jibanyan added breaking Whisper's now electronic heart.

"Ok but how do we stop this?" Lina asked.

"Don't know but here use these" Foiletta told them handing Lucas and Lina anti-inspirit talismans.

"Thanks Foiletta, I would rather save these for an emergency but I guess this is a rather large issue." Said Lucas.

"What about Draggie?" Lina asked.

"Ah well you see—" Whisper started.

"Draggie is a slippery tribe yo-kai that means he a lot less susceptible to inspiriting." Lucas answered over Whisper.

"Along with that Draggie's orb protects him from inspirits further" Jibanyan added.

"Ok so what is our plan?" Foiletta asked then group of uninspirited plus Whisper and Jibanyan.

"Hmm maybe we could use a yo-kai to straighten out their inspirits?" Lina said.

"That will probably be what we have to do but what yo-kai?" Foiletta asked.

Draggie then walked up to Lucas and Lina and handed them a medal, "how about this one?" Lina and Lucas looked confused. But then Lucas realized what the medal was, "That's Nate's Chansin medal!"

Lina asked, "How did you get that?"

Foiletta followed up with, "more importantly why did you get it?"

Draggie said, "Well I just went over to the Nate doll and looked in his pocket for a yo-kai medal since you guys wanted to summon a yo-kai."

Lina asked, "but I why this one?"

Draggie replied, "I don't know. It is almost like I was drawn to it."

Foiletta said, "more like drew it by chance don't you think Lina and Lucas have their own capable yo-kai."

Lucas then said, "That is exactly right!"

Foiletta said, "why thank you Lucas. Lina and Lucas don't need Nate's yo-Kai friends."

Lucas said, "Actually we do. I have a plan. But it was very lucky you got us this one, though because of this yo-Kai's nature maybe not as lucky maybe you still have some of your power Draggie!"

Foiletta said, "What you don't think Lina has a yo-kai friend who can solve this situation?"

Lucas said, "no we will need all our yo-kai to help! Lina I need you to summon Pandanoko, I'll summon Chansin and Bloominoko, and Foiletta I need you to find Noko the one Nate summoned."

Foiletta asked, "What the heck is your plan?"

Lucas said, "I'll explain after we get all the yo-kai here."

Lina and Lucas began summoning their yo-kai friends.

"Calling Great Spirit, with the power of this watch, I call upon thy," Lucas said placing his yo-kai medal in to his watch.

Chansin asked, "huh you're not Nate!" Before drawing his sword.

Lucas said, "Wait but we're friends of Nate and Katie and we need your help to save them!"

Chansin haulted his attack, "And why should I believe you."

Lina said "Look for yourself." Pointing towards The mess of yo-kai and people.

The floating Jibanyan head said, "Yes Chanysin it is true Nate needs your help."

Chansin shouted, "Jibanyan is that you?! What happened you must not be a lucky cat!"

Lucas said, "We don't have time to explain we have to hurry before we end up like them." Just then the restless Jumblina and Mimikin let loose another wave of inspirits. It seemed like the end but then Bloominoko took the hit for Lucas, Pandanoko took the hit for Lina, and Draggie took the blow for Chansin.

Yet the inspirit just washed off their bodies with no effect. Lina said "phew."

Lucas asked, "is everyone alright?" Lina and Chansin nodded while the Nokos just smiled.

Chansin then looked down to the yo-kai that saved him, "wow that took some mighty bravery for you to put yourself in harms way little guy. Say what is your name young warrior?"

Draggie looked around as if Chansin was talking to someone else, "Huh you mean me Mr? Well um I wouldn't say I was brave or a warrior but I knew you were here to help my friends so I thought better save you than me."

Chansin almost looked like he was gonna cry, "you dragon that is the most selfless thing I have ever heard in all my existence. Well um I didn't catch your names."

Lucas said, "we might not have time for introductions but I am Lucas, and that is Draggie."

Lina said, "I am Lina"

"And I am Foiletta and those are the Nokos And these three are clowns now what is the plan?"Foiletta asked after having suddenly appeared along side a yellow noko being accompanied by three joke lovers.

"Excuse me I am not a clown!" Laughalota said.

"Ok well we are going to have Chansin get these yo-kai to inspirit all our friends again—" Lucas said.

"That's your plan?!" Foiletta said confused

Lina said, "let's here him out there has to be more than that."

Chansin said, "I will follow your lead commander so what do we do after we get them to inspirit everyone."

Lucas said, "Ok so because they are randomly affecting people there is a slight chance that the random effect could be changing everyone back."

Foiletta looked dumbfounded, "chance? That isn't a plan, that's a load of—"

Compunzer answered, "malarkey?"

Lamedian replied, "hullabaloo?"

Chansin said, "Gambling!" Finishing Foiletta's sentence incorrectly much to the toilet ghost's annoyance, "I like it!"

Lina asked, "but what about us what if we get affected? And what are the odds that we get that favorable event?"

Jibanyan said, "the odds are about the same as a monkey painting the Mona Lisa entirely perfect or writing Shakespeare's entire collection of works."

Laughalotta said, "or these two landing a good joke!"

Whisper said, "I could have told you that."

Lucas said, "that is where the Nokos come it with their luck affecting Chansin our odds go up and with all three we might be able to pull this off."

Whisper added, "and because they are all of the—"

Lina put the pieces together, "because they are all slippery tribe yo-kai along with Draggie our chances of being inspirited ourselves are going down!"

Foiletta said, "Still that is only a chance that doesn't guarantee our friends will be ok."

Chansin said, "That's the fun of it can't be gambling without chance of failure. No risk no reward!"

Lucas said, "And this is our best option, we can't purify our human friends and we don't know if Faceoff, Jumblina, and Mimikin can undo their inspirits after they are purified or defeated. This is a very complex Gordian knot and this is the best way to come at it."

Foiletta said, "I guess you're right. Let's do this."

Draggie asked Lina, "do you think this will work?"

Lina said, "I don't know Draggie but I believe in this plan. Sometime you don't know if things will work out but you just have to take a shot just like how you did with Chansin. Very brave of you."

Draggie blushed, "Thanks Lina I believe in this plan too."

Lucas said, "ok here we go. Nokos if you please inspirit Chansin."

"Noko!" All three of the lucky snakes said before casting a positive golden aura onto the gambler.

Chansin gave a thumbs up, "ready to go!"

Lucas said, "Ok Chansin Soultimate move time! Go now!" His face refusing to show any hint of the nervousness in his heart.

Chansin uses his soultimate and then slots made of pink, green and yellow auras form around Jumblina, Mimikin, and Faceoff. Faceoff's comes up a red seven on the left. Mimikin's becomes a red seven on the right. And finally Jumbina's begins to slow to a stop before falling on a cherry. Only to be hit by Nate's Noko bumping it to a red seven as well.

"Jackpot!" They all shouted. Just like that Mimikin, Faceoff, and Jumblina cast their mixed up inspirits everywhere hitting every human and yo-kai insight including themselves but discluding the humans and yo-kai behind the circle of Nokos and Draggie. And then there was a puff of purple smoke. And everyone was back to normal.

Katie was the first to realize, "Phew finally out of that nightmare situation no offense Komasan."

"I think it is pronounced Komainu Katie, wait did you see those crazy beings too, and did you switch bodies too! Woah that is so cool wait how is that possible? Does that mean that that was real?" Hailey Ann said much to the surprise of Katie.

"Um no, it was probably just a dream we all probably just knocked out or something." Katie explained to the bespecled girl.

"Hmmm ok that would make more sense but we had the same dream?" Hailey questioned.

"Um maybe that was the yo-kai's fault like it caused us all to have the same dream!" Katie quickly pivoted.

"OOOh that would explain it maybe like a Baku or something like that." Hailey said star-eyed, jotting down this experience as evidence.

"You know Baku's smoke is supposed to be explained by the hot springs sometime releasing a gas that cause both unconsciousness and hallucinations." Eddie said having woken up front the same distrubing situation.

"Maybe its the other way around Eddie. Maybe the hot springs are filled with hallucinogens because of Baku." Zoey immediate engaging with the young boy after an admittedly cursed experience for herself and her friends to distract the two non yo-kai watch users.

"Thanks for helping us get back to normal you guys" Nate? said. Much to the confusion of the actual Nate who gasp in surprise, "WHAHAHA! Who are you?"

"I'm Nate oblivious." said the imposter to Nate.

"Oh no has the nightmare still not ended has Nate been duplicated?" Whisper panicked.

"No you dolt this is oblivious Mimikin." Infour said having paused from her shuddering at the traumatizing event smacking the butler in the back. Mimikin poofed to his original form with a tongue out to mock the butler.

"Excuse my friend he is trying to extend his thanks in the best way he knows how to." said Jumbelina approaching Lina, Foiletta, and Lucas, "Also sorry about this literal mix-up me and my friend Face-off here were just trying to help this Mimikin here increase his power of imitation but he got a little flustered and messed up a bit."

"Huh but don't you two try to avoid each other?" Lina asked.

"Well most times yes to avoid situations like these but this Face-off here happens to be a dear friend of mine when we were both alive." Jumbalina said. Face-off then approached and began to bring his hands to his face and shift them into poses and movements.

"Hmmm Face-Off here seems to be thanking us as well." Foiletta said.

"Yes and as part of our gratitude we would like to give all of you our medals." Jumbalina said as all three yo-kai shone blue and released multiple sets of there medals.

"Nice job you guys." Nate said for real this time, giving Lucas a pat on the back smiling at him and Lina.

"Yes thank you three it was so scary being in that situation truly unable to use my powers." Infour said.

"I dony't unyderstand how you do it Inyfour. It gives me a headache just thinking about how much knyowledge was in my brain." Jibanyan said.

"Well of course for you it was an issue but for larger brains like us we can hold far more intellect." Whisper said floating over.

"Yeah right." Jibanyan said.

"As if you could handle my knowledge you big blob but I will say I am impressed you were able to help our friends Jibanyan." Infour said.

"We have to thank these guys." Lucas added referring to Chansin and the Nokos.

"Don't forget about this guy." Lina said as she stroked Draggie's chin much to his delight.

"It was an honor serving you in aid of my friend Nate now I'll be off to train my pupils today was quite the gamble but all I need at the end of the day." Chansin said before puffing off in a burst of purple smoke.

"Hey if you guys don't mind, could we take your two snake buddies off your hands along with Mr. rubber smile here?" Compunzer asked.

"Yes these guys are a real hit." Lamedian added. Referring to the two additional Nokos

"As long as it is ok with them." Lina said looking at Pandanoko and Bloominoko who looked at Noko and started playing with him tackling him before they stacked atop one another and started singing.

"We'll take that as a yes!" Compunzer and Lamedian shouted with glee as they picked up the stack to put atop both of their heads.

"HAHAHA perfect the more wackos like that the merrier!" Laughalotta said, "Hey do you three want to join our circus?"

"Um no I we will have to pass." Mimikin said with a mock bow as his two friends nodded.

"Pass as in pass gas." Compunzer said laughing only to himself.

"What a stinker." Lamedian coughed out barely breathing.

Laughalotta smacked both of them causing the two to get hit by the falling trio of Nokos.

"We said we would stick to slap stick." the comedy manager said before dragging the troupe away.

"We probably should go too, we promise not to cause trouble like this again." Jumbalina said before she and Mimikin walked off. Face-Off walked up to Lina and handed her a crystal shard.

"Oh why thank you Face-Off." Lina said. Face-Off waved goodbye before walking away.

"Huh that makes five of those in total now doesn't it." Lucas noted.

"True you should probably give them to Hailey." said Foiletta.

"Ok will do." Lina said.

The intercom then crackled, "Patient 198 please report to X-ray examination room"

"Hmm it looks like we have another place to search." said Zoey leading the way.

When the group got there, Lina turned to Haliey and Eddie who were talking about the bizarre event. "Hey Hailey, Lucas and I found these shards similar to the ones you have."

"PSYCH!" Hailey said with stars in her eyes as she took the crystal piece from the blue haired girl and comparing them with her set.

"Hmm it looks like these are all part of the same thing maybe we can reassemble it." Eddie said.

"Now that I am seeing all the pieces I have to agree Eddie." Lina said.

"PYSCH then we have to put this together! Let's go." Hailey said excited.

So while those three were working on putting the crystal shards together, Draggie, Nate, and Katie were addressing Nurse Tongus and Leadoni.

"Hmm this should be our final exam to find out what is wrong with your crystal ball Draggie." Nurse Tongus notified.

"Yes because otherwise you seem to be in perfect health for a young growing dragon." Leadoni said.

"I have to go in that machine?!" Draggie said quivering.

"Don't worry it will be ok." Katie assured.

"Yessiry we are all right behind you and can help out whenever you need." Komasan said earning a nod from Frostina, Nate, Jibanyan, and Komajiro.

"*Gulp* O-ok i-if you say so." Draggie said preparing himself to get scanned. Draggie approached the screen so that even his orb was in line.

The machine somehow still functioning showed green beams moving across a screen with Draggie behind it in outline. "Hmmm it looks to me that Draggie is in perfect health as we thought" Nurse Tongus reported.

"That likely means that the only thing that is wrong with his powers are that…" one Leadoni started.

"... Draggie has simple grown too powerful for his current dragon ball." the other finished.

"Copyright." The other one said under its breath.

"What!?" Draggie said.

"Where is Draggie supposed to find another one?" Komasan asked.

"Well we suppose we could look for one in the back." Nurse Tongus started but then the loudspeaker crackled.

"Nurse Tongus and Leadonis clear out the hospital! And eliminate the humans, Nate, Katie, Lina, Zoey, Eddie, Hailey Ann, and Lucas." a demonic and elderly voice spoke.

"But sir." Nurse Tongus Protested.

"That was not a request that was an order from the very chairman himself!" the speaker shot back with acid and not only acid in voice but also releasing a gas from the speaker overwhelming the nurses.

"We are so sorry for this." Nurse Tongus said with remorse matching the faces of regret on the yokai nurses. Both Leadoni then lunged forward with their larger fists out. Nate and Katie both recoiled tensing from the attack. Komasan, Komajiro, Jibanyan, Whisper, and Frostina were caught off guard that the attack wasn't on them but directly on the humans. But then the two yo-kai were repelled by a slash reducing them to wisps.

"Sup!" The slash came from a kappa not unlike Appak but with a leaf band that was more blue than green and pants that matched that were deep blue but still brandishing the same water katana, "Yo!"

"Appak?" Nate questioned.

"One of your friends?" Katie asked.

"No, Who are you." Nate asked.

"Supyo, thanks for protecting my friends." Lucas said as he joined the water yo-kai.

"No prob bro any brah of yours is a brah of mine, and these guys are so not cool." Supyo said.

"Go Infour." Zoey said waving her hand out. Just like that Infour snipped the mushroom nurse before she could retreat and she fell.

"What's going on here." Zoey integrated.

"Should I analyze?" Infour questioned.

"No need, right Nurse." Zoey questioned with a glare as she held the healing yo-kai down.

"I am so sorry we never meant any harm to anyone but the doctor was threatened. Ever since the guardian burnt down the hospital it has been hard to sustain a yo-kai clinic here it would get too chaotic or there wouldn't be enough energy to heal yo-kai. So the doctor had to take up the power himself but it has been running rather dry with all the yo-kai incidences; the doctor just couldn't keep up. With the guardian rejecting us, he had to turn to other sources of power." Nurse Tongus admitted.

"What are these other sources of power?" Zoey questioned.

"I don't know; the doctor won't let any of us know. I again am so sorry for the attack. Here, take my medal and a couple of extra copies for you and your friends; you might need a healer." Nurse Tongus said before bursting into purple smoke.

"Darn it that wasn't too helpful." Zoey said.

"Are you all okay." Komasan said as he rushed to Katie and Nate.

"Yea we are fine." Katie said, assuring her worried friend.

"Thanks to Lucas and Supyo here." Nate said, "Thanks for the save, Lucas.

"Of course it looks like this place is getting more dangerous; we may need to get out of here." Lucas warned.

"Alright, it has been fun while it lasted." Zoey complained.

"Psych! We got it!" Hailey Ann shouted as she showed a completed crystal ball with a few cracks showing.

"Hailey did you not just hear the loudspeaker?" Eddie asked worried.

"Finally believe do you?" Zoey asked with a smirk.

"This isn't time for bragging, Zoey." Lina scolded, "This sounds serious."

"I am not saying it is a ghost but maybe a mad doctor is here, maybe a serial killer potentially." Eddie said sternly.

"I don't think that is any better." Katie said.

"No, it's worse; ghosts have a chance to be friendly; this would likely just mean death." Hailey corrected, somehow, still smiling at the completed ball in her hands.

"Patient 193!" the loudspeaker coughed out in hacks, "Patient 193! Report to the surgery room at once!"

"No way can we listen to that." Lucas said with a wave of his hands in an x shape.

"Yeah, we need to get out of here." Nate supported. The group of ghost hunters ran to the bottom, floor creaks and squeaks be darned, and to the entrance but of course it was locked.

"Ok, now we know someone else is here. How else was the door locked?" Eddie said panic growing on his face.

"MUA…HAHA… HA… don't even think about escaping, you humans! You can't leave! Not alive at least!" the speaker hacked out.

"I guess we better head to the surgery room." Nate said with a relax of his shoulders leading the way to the room.

"I don't think we have a choice." Katie admitted growing a little fearful of the situation they were in.

"Guys, we can't do that have any of you seen a horror movie." Hailey said now realizing the gravity of the situation her usual excitement switched to fear with uncontrollable trembling of her arms and legs.

"There has to be a way out." Eddie reasoned staying carefully away from everything and everyone really on edge.

"I think we have to go to the surgery room." Lucas admitted with a sigh of defeat.

"That is insane." Eddie countered in a shout worrying not just for himself but for his friends. Eddie looked like how he did after drinking serval cups of coffee for a late night study binge.

Before any more objections could be raised, Lina and Zoey took Draggie and ran toward the surgery room. And thus the other five were forced to follow. The hospital halls were dark as always but any sunlight seemed to have been sucked away leaving only the darkness and dust. The halls in the area were now devoid of yo-kai making it a straight get away. Yet this made things more scary. Not even yo-kai wanted to be near here. That is when they saw a rusty gurney in the middle of the hall. Even with no yo-kai nearby after Lina and Zoey checked Lina was still weary of an aura around the hospital chair.

"I don't like this Zoey." Lina said looking at the gurney with a frown.

"I don't need to see what you're seeing to smell how fishy this is." Zoey added adjusting her glasses.

Lucas and Nate were the first to catch up, "Guys you can't just leave us behind like that." Nate said.

Whisper who was with his human master said, "Yes it is quite dangerous for you to split up like that. We need to stick together." Lucas nodded.

Lucas added, "Yea I have a feeling this director will be a force to be reckoned with."

Zoey asked looking at her glasses wearing friend, "You think its a boss yo-kai?" Lucas nodded.

"That definitely means we will need to be on guard." Nate said. Soon the group of 4 were met with Eddie and Hailey the later of whom ran into Nate causing him to be settled with the crystal ball Hailey remade.

"Oop sorry Nate." Hailey profusely apologized bowing so much that she didn't take the ball back from Nate who was just trying to sort himself out after the crash.

"Are you guys ok?" Eddie asked.

"Yea we are ok." Lucas confired.

"Where's Katie?" Nate asked before being answered.

"Right here but where is Draggie." Katie asked before they all looked behind them. While they were all distracted Draggie was pulled to the gurney in a trance because of the aura around it.

"Must get ready for the surgery." Draggie said eyelids drooped and drool dripping from his mouth.

"Draggie nooooo!" Nate, Lucas, Lina, Zoey, Katie, Whisper, Jibanyan, Komasan, and Komajiro shouted as they ran toward the inspirited slippery yo-kai. Nate was the one to grab on to the gurney as the crystal ball in his hands fell onto the gurney next to Draggie who laid down on the gurney at that point. As soon as Draggie fell down onto the gurney and Nate grabbed on to the back. The gurney shot at rocket speeds away from the rest.

Cries for Draggie quickly became, "NATE NOOOOO!" from all the humans and yokai present. Nate grunted as he was pulled along for the ride. The gurney ended up in the surgery room with a sudden stop leaving Nate and Draggie by the front door. Nate looked back to his friends who were running to the room as fast as they could right before it slammed with a *bhooow* Draggie was out of his trance and was now extremely scared on the gurney looking further into the surgery room. Draggie was trembling with tears of fear dripping out of his eyes and snot out his nose. But Draggie was quite aside from fearful whimpers.

Nate looked back to the way Draggie was looking and immediately understood the terror. He saw the boss yo-kai in front of him.

"Why hello there patient 193! I see you brought a support human." said a raspy hiss of a voice from the wide mouthed grinned face, "I can't wait to run a scalpel through you both!"

AN: Well that was 30 pages on docs. I don't think it is my longest chapter but still. So well obviously Nate is facing another Boss Yo-kai and that is big. Also a reason why chapter 50 is taking me so long. A lot happened, introduced to Draggie who can see the unseen with his crystal ball even if it isn't working right now. 5 yokai problems solved by the yo-kai watch wielders. I would apologize for the jokerster yo-kai but let's just be glad they are out of the way because they were going to be introduced one way or another eventually. Thank you for going through that pain. Dimmy evolved into Nul so another alternate evolution. Nul was one of my favorite yo-kai I thought Dimmy evolved into Nul before learning of Blandon's existence so I just thought it fitting to evolve him into Nul in this story considering you find Nul in Nocturne Hospital anyway. Sorry denisegalante1009 I forgot I was going to give Pandanoko and Nul to Katie, Nul was just because I like alternate evolution and Pandanoko was for the plot of the lucky Chansin moment and Lina admittedly needed another healer. I will keep other yo-kai in mind for Katie like you suggested. However I want Draggie to be a reminder that though these yo-kai are befriended by specific people they can become partners to anyone particular Watch User and can be called upon by any of their friends. Also of course for our final note we have the crystal ball that had to be reassembled which I assume most of you know the direction of just like how you probably know who the next boss is.
