In the city-covered planet of the Galaxy, tragedy is about to hit the civilians and the Galaxy itself. The HoloNet News started to play, showing a human male sitting behind a desk. The man had the look of shock and horror all over his face.

"Breaking news from HNN in Coruscant, this is Berch Teller reporting live. It has been confirmed that the Jedi Order has been bombed!"

The home of the Galaxy's most powerful warriors was engulfed in flames. Firefighters and rescuers were present, doing their best to extinguish the blaze. Sadly, the intensity of the fire prevented them from entering the building.

"Rescuers could not rescue any Jedi against the raging fire to search and save anyone. A temple that stood as a symbol of hope for nearly 4,000 years is now the symbol of -" he stopped his sentence as his earpiece started to beep. His eyes widen with more shock and horror. "Hold on; we just got word that Reporter Anora Fair is also reporting from the loading docks where Jedi Cruisers were bombed tonight! As well as other Cruisers all over the Galaxy!"

The Holo camera changes to a white human female. "That's right, Berch. No less than 10 minutes later, Jedi Cruisers had been bombed!" Anora informed as her camera droid showed the image of Star Destroyers in flames. "Like with the Temple, no rescuers and firefighters could save nor find any Jedi or their clones from the explosion. This was a purge toward the Jedi! A Jedi purge, as the civilians had called it."

The Holo camera started to show people crying and screaming about the loss of the Jedi Order. The Holo camera changes back to Berch Teller, who was making a silent prayer to the Force.

He sighed, "As a reporter, I can only express concern about the loss of the Jedi Order. Without their guidance, how will the people of the Galaxy defend against evil? Stay tuned for more information, and may the Force be with all of us!"

A man sat alone in his Chancellor chamber, his hands locked together as he contemplated with a sinister grin. As the Galaxy fell into a panic, Chancellor Sheev Palpatine, known as the Dark Lord Darth Sidious, watched the HoloNet News satisfactorily. The Jedi Order had been eliminated, and the Galaxy was now under his control. Fully.

'And to think I didn't even have to do anything yet,' he said as if he had achieved something, but he was starting to scowl. Losing Skywalker, his true apprentice whom he had been grooming since sensing the child, was a significant blow. However, he can still use others to exceed his goals.

The clones serving under Jedi Masters were also wiped out, causing a substantial dent in the Republic Army's strength. And he isn't about to waste much more credit on clones again. However, the most impairment still pleads his mind.

'Who indeed murdered the Jedi Order before I had?' He asked himself. There is no way the Separatists could do this cause Count Dooku was his eyes and ears. Pirates? Maybe. But then, who wants to kill the Jedi more than the Sith? He might as well discuss this issue with the fallen Jedi later.

'Can discuss that later,' he said, preparing to devise a strategy to appease the Senator and the entire Galaxy. However, his sidious grin returned to his face with an idea. 'Perhaps; now is the time to raise my Galactic Empire! Tomorrow would indeed be interesting.'

Planet: Batuu
System: Batuu system
Sector: Trilon sector
Region: The Outer Rim Territories of the Western Reaches

Across the edge of the Galaxy's Outer Rim Territories, the remote terrestrial planet of Batuu, Jedi Master Anakin Skywalker, Mand'alor Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano were watching the HoloNet News.

Ahsoka beamed, "Look like the plan had worked, huh?"

"Yep, the whole Galaxy thinks we're dead now," Anakin said while glaring at the Chancellor's phony speech of sorrow for the Jedi Order. Oh, how Anakin hated the man with a burning passion still. For years, he thought that man was a friend, a father figure he could trust during his struggle in the Order. Oh boy, he was wrong to trust the snake. However, worse, he had to leave his beloved pregnant wife, Padme. He sighed sadly, 'Please stay safe, my Angel of Naboo. Leia, my Rebel princess, don't kick your mommy too hard, okay? Daddy promise to get to you guys before you are born.'

Sensing his former Padawm's distress, Obi-wan grabbed Anakin's shoulder and offered him a supporting smile. "You would see her and Luke again, Anakin. Patience."

"I will," he looked down in shame. He still couldn't believe he trusted that snake instead of his Master, friend, and brother, Obi-wan. If there is one thing he was grateful for during this war, he finally knew who his true friends, family, and allies were. Obi-wan, Padme, Ahsoka, Rex, Cody, Satine, Korkie, and Qui-Gon are his family. "I would hate to see her and Leia defenseless with him."

Ahsoka punched Anakin's shoulder and smiled, "Padme is a tough gal, Skyguy. I'm sure she would protect Luke or Leia from that bastard."

"Plus, she wouldn't be alone. She would've me, Satine, and others to help her," Obi-wan added. "If you want, I can send some of Mandalorians to protect-"

"No," Anakin interrupted. It's incredible how openly Obi-Wan has become, from a poster boy of the Jedi Order to a man who understands his feelings. Again, Anakin wished he had trusted Obi-Wan more in the past instead of that snake. "That's okay, Obi-Wan. I know Padme is going to be safe. I need to let go of my fear. I need to trust her more."

"Indeed. Padme is a resourceful woman. However, I now know the feeling, brother. I, too, am worried for Satine and Korkie." After reuniting with his Duchess, he started worrying about her safety, which increased once Maul attacked her planet. Yet he didn't let that stop him from his mission as much as he wanted to be by her side again. "But I know Korkie, Bo-Katan, and our people would protect her. I know Captain Typho and Sabe will protect her for you. Remember, I am here for you."

"Me too," Ahsoka added with a smile.

Again, Anakin was so glad to have his real family beside him instead of that monster. He wrapped his arms around his brother and sister and then hugged them. "Thank you, guys."

Obi-Wan nodded and then put his helmet back on. "Well, I must take my leave and return as the 'Last Jedi.' I hope my fake tears can win Sidious' cold heart."

Ahsoka hugged her Grand Master, then let him go, "Please be safe, Obi-Wan. We won't be there to save you."

Anakin smirked, "He does have Cody, Bo-Katan, and Korkie to save him now."

Obi-Wan chuckled, "Like I can't save you both. Please do enjoy the show."

"Oh, we will. And we hope you guys enjoy the chaos coming the way. Stay safe, Obi-Wan."

"Don't I ever, my Padawans."

After the Mand'alor and his troops departed, the Jedi Master and Knight assisted in establishing a new Jedi Temple, determined to defeat the Sith, save the Galaxy, and someday rejoin their loved ones. Once and for all.
