So finally we come to the end of this story, this story which started as just a random idea to do a stupid SJW writer's idea better than her own actually got me much more interested in Little Mac than I had been before when previously I had ignored him for his seemingly much more interesting opponents! But with what I established earlier about his past now I kind of want to do more stories where he finally wants to find out more about his parentage and thinking about that...I realized I had a segue to another adaptation of a Palladium TMNT Adventure so stay tuned for that!

So as they were riding in the Battle Shell as it drove them back to Manhattan, Little Mac, no longer ashamed of his scars told Glass Joe and Aran Ryan the whole story about how he got burned because some other kids decided to bake a cake when they were left unsupervised.

Glass Joe was horrified thinking about how criminal that was! That level of negligence to allow that bad an accident to happen! Aran Ryan hearing that story quietly huffed that there really that much to tease about said "You're right Mac, that is just embarrassing! Paying for someone else's trouble not even your own! There's no fun in that story!" Aran thought about his own scar on his left side from his waist to his armpit, while the moment he got that scar nearly killed him it was also his finest hour! When he proved to himself what he was capable with just fists, elbows and headbutts no extra tools needed...And he was more than happy to show off that scar with pride in his current matches.

Glass Joe asked if he and Dana could be dropped off at the WVBA Gym it was like 1 in the morning, but Glass Joe and Dana came to unwind after all that excitement!

Dana wanted to massage Joe, and Joe changed out of his civilian clothes into his boxing shorts, partly to expose some more bare skin and partly so it would be easier to breathe particularly without his belt!

The two of them got two stools, Dana sat behind him as he sat with his back to her and she began to massage his shoulders...She thought about some questions Bimbette asked her quietly on the ride over, and Dana promised the Mutant Doe she would give her lessons on how to properly pamper a human!

"Oh!" Glass Joe quietly moaned as she worked out the knots in his muscles "Oh...C'est magnifique! Dana you spoil me rotten!"
"Spoil nothing!" Dana said "I see this as the kind of maintenance of the body like tuning a musical instrument! Maybe if you received more of this kind of care more regularly your body wouldn't have been in the rough shape it was in when I first met you!"
And Glass Joe sighed he felt like she was about to say 'Would have one more matches' but no Dana knew it wasn't just a matter of his strength it was his passive personality that made it hard for him to assert himself in matches...Dana was always so kind to him but also she seemed to have a clarity when looking at things that most humans didn't…

So after a few more rubs moving to his shoulder blades, Dana quietly said "You were very brave tonight...I've never seen that side of you before…"

Joe sighed "He just made me angry Dana...I felt...Almost like I was looking at some of the ugliest aspects of myself magnified! I felt like I was looking at a version of myself if I became evil…"

And upon saying it he realized it and it made him shudder how that Emile felt like an evil reflection of himself...No wonder he decided to give that creep the 'medicine' he so often received...A punch to the jaw!

Glass Joe became quiet thinking about the relationship between Little Mac and Bimbette...Joe really saw a new side to Little Mac these past few days! A tender romantic side...Many of the boxers had no idea why Little Mac declined groupies when they practically threw themselves at him (Some of the Boxers like Von Kaiser and Piston Hondo recognized Little Mac's self restraint as commendable) seemed Little Mac's heart always belonged to another...Joe had to admire that Mac didn't really flinch when he realized he was in love with a Mutant Animal really he just looked to his relationship with Dana just to make sure that those feelings were OK...He thought about the message his Grandfather gave him that uplifted animals are essentially honorary humans and felt shame about he hadn't been sure at first of a relationship with Dana because he still thought of her as a 'freak'

Then he felt Dana's fingers tickling the sides of his waist and he burst into laughter and looked over his shoulder with a smile on his face.

"Penny for your thoughts?" The Mutant Doberman asked "You seemed to be thinking deeply about something…"
"I was just thinking about Little Mac…" Joe said "...And now that he's in love with a mutant and will be marrying her soon...He probably will want to join in our crusade to unravel the Mystery of Mutants...We had been keeping him out of that business because we wanted to protect him...And I think his experience in nearly getting eaten by a mutant fish was a big factor in why he was all right with that and instead try to find something else to be passionate about after boxing...But now he has found something else to be passionate about…"
Meanwhile Little Mac and Doc Louis both invited Bimbette to spend the night at their apartment, after what had just happened they just wanted to play it safe and have her 'sleep over' at their place to the night and they would help her pack her stuff at her tree apartment in forest later that week,

The Mutant Doe was feeling so happy she felt her heart might burst! Looking at Little Mac's bare back she said quietly "Sorry about your shirt Little Mac…"
"Don't worry about it…" Mac said "...Those black tank tops are a dime a dozen! I get them at Walmart!"

As they sat down on the big black sofa, one with corners, a relic from when Doc was a Heavyweight Champ and would host parties at his place for all of his friends.

"Mac..."Bimbette said quietly as she sat next to Little Mac "...If I may, I just want to touch the scarred part of your back for a moment."
"OK." Mac said as he turned around so she could see and touch as back as much as she liked, while looked over his shoulder with a happy relaxed smile on his face, Doc couldn't help be feel amazed just how happy and relaxed Mac looked he hadn't seen a smile on his face like that in years!

Bimbette lay a tender three fingered hand on his upper back and softly stroked "I'm not using my healing power now...How does it feel...Does it hurt?"
While it was a handy thing to know that Bimbette's healing power had to be actively 'turned on' it wasn't automatic Mac shook his head "No, that doesn't hurt...Years ago my back used to be really twitchy...Like I felt phantom pain for years but that seemed to end when I began training with Doc Louis...But healing touch or no that feels really good Bimbette, I really like it…"
Despite thinking they were totally wired the two quickly fell asleep, Mac leaning into the corner of the sofa, Bimbette placed her head on his bare chest and Mac wrapped his arms around her as they fell asleep.

Doc Louis put a throw blanket over both of them and said quietly "Sweet dreams Kids."
So with the end of this story one of the things I realized doing more Punch Out research is Doc Louis owns his own gym where he trains Little Mac, combined with the saved funds from Little Mac's own wins I think the two of them are a lot more wealthy than the likes of Glass Joe but Doc Louis comment about not being able to support a specialist herbivore diet was partly because one of their secrets is careful budgeting as those nest eggs from both their careers still won't last forever
