Marcy's POV:
As Anne, Sasha, The Planters, Grime and I walk though the castle to the throne room Anne and i were talking about the events of last night and how good some of the other entries were, "I never thought that grime would play the harp" Anne said, i agreed "but you have to admit it sounded amazing! he deserves first place for that" I added
before we knew it we arrived and as Anne was holding the box grime took it and handed it to Sasha as she reveals her betrayal, i looked over shocked and I froze up as Sasha held the box over the edge of the balcony "one more step and I'll drop the box" Sasha yelled as Anne took a step towards her Anne then stopped and stared at Sasha with a mixed expression of fear, sadness and anger, Sasha walked to the king's throne and sat on it, Anne snapped and yelled "I'M DONE LISTENING TO YOU, IM DONE TRUSTING YOU! YOURE A HORRIBLE PERSON AND IM DONE. BEING. FRIENDS WITH YOU" I turned to look at Sasha to see her with a surprised hurt expression "oh snap" Polly commented I stepped towards Anne saying "Anne you don't mean that, we can still fix this" worrying that the trio is falling apart and I would loose them and be alone which is exactly not what I want, Anne replied with "no Marcy we can't" which made Sasha decide on sending Anne home I panicked inside when i heard that but luckily the box didn't work so Sasha sent us all away to the dungeon but Anne didn't go without last word as she yelled "this isn't over Sasha, you hear me, this isn't over!" the last word echoing
Time skip to after Andrias reveals the truth about why they're in amphibia and his betrayal bc I'm lazy and it was almost 11pm as I wrote this*
I stood there shocked as Andrias sat in his throne thinking as there was a quiet mummer of voices he then spoke "but my lord, are you sure?" "true, it didn't make a portal when the blonde one 'Sasha' tried to use it... i see..." he then cleared his throat "it seems one of you didn't charge their gem fully but no worry, i was reminded of a very important function this music box has" Andrias announced as he pressed some buttons on the box, everyone stood with a confused expression then the blue gem glowed and a light like the ones that led us to the temples shot at Anne "ugh... i don't feel... so good" Anne uttered as she fell to the ground, sprig ran to her side holding her while asking if she's ok.
Anne was changing, her brown now glowing blue hair is floating like she went super saiyan, her dark brown eyes also started glowing blue and the twigs and leaves in her hair grew then a burst of energy shot around Anne as she stood, she looked at sprig then walked towards king Andrias as he revealed "whoever is in possession of the box can control whoever is connected to it like your friend Anne here is" he then... laughed! he laughed as Anne stood next to him lacking any signs of the Anne we all knew and any emotion,
realising what happened i gasped, clasping my hands over my mouth as tears started forming. i wanted to say anything but nothing could come out, Sasha then ran towards me, got a grip on me yelling at me to explain but i couldn't form any words on my tongue, i just looked at her tears in my eyes and i finally uttered voice breaking as more tears flowed "t-that's not Anne... Anne... s-she is gone... t-that thing... is a puppet for Andrias, a powerful one at that" Sasha stood there with her hands still on my shoulder with a painful expression, grime was yelling towards Sasha trying to get her attention but she didn't react to him, it seemed like she couldn't hear anything around her, i stood there looking at what used to be a happy, outgoing, friendly girl who would get in all kinds of trouble with Sasha and I and would take the blame, then I felt a stinging pain in my left cheek then something wet on my shoulder i look back at Sasha to realise she's crying and i can presume that she slapped me which i don't blame her, if it weren't for me all of this wouldn't happen.. if I had just accepted being alone, Anne would still be here... I then removed the rope tied around her wrists and hugged her as she cried
