Rush POV

After a few days of school, the first weekend is here! I said bye to my parents and ran over to Frosts house. I knocked on the door and Cream answered.

"Hey Cream! Where's Frost?"

"I'll get him." And she went off to get Frost. When he came out he asked what I wanted.

"I want you to come with me and explore a cave I found last week!"

"Why?" That was all he said.

"Because I don't want to go alone. A wise video game once said "It's dangerous to go alone" so that's why you should come with me." He sighed and I dragged him to the cave.

"Here it is. I was thinking maybe we could turn this into some kind of secret base." I saw his eyes roll.

"Rush, that's a stupid idea and you know it." Hey...

"Can we at least go inside?" He slowly nodded and we walked in. We walked around for a bit and there were only rocks, rocks and more rocks.

"Rush, lets go already." I was going to answer before I saw a big blue rock with with a bunch of orange ones on it.

"Look at this one, It's huge!" I ran over and felt it. It felt pretty cold. Then it started shaking.

"Rush, I think you should step away from that rock." I backed away like Frost said. We watched it lift itself up and turn around. It was a Gigalith... crap.

"Let's get the hell out of here!" Frost shouted and we ran for the exit. Suddenly a Flash Cannon flew over our heads and hit the entrance, it caused rocks to fall and block the only exit!

"You've disturbed my slumber, so now I'll make sure you will not wake up from yours." This guy sounds like a cartoon villain, but he's still going to kill us! Then Frost spoke.

"Calm down, or we won't get out of here. He's powerful, but slow. He won't be able to hit you as long as you keep moving." I nodded. Frost really knows his stuff! He's so calm too, not freaking out even a little bit!

Frost POV

I'm kind of freaking out. Rush has never fought before and the only fights I've been in were street brawls and fist fights. The only thing I know that might help me is parkour, since I used to be one of those guys. I ran around Gigalith, thinking of someway to beat him. I didn't get time to think since I had to dodge all the Power Gems thrown at me. Rush got behind him and punched him with Rock Smash, it didn't do much except piss him off and make him use Earthquake. Both me and Rush were caught in it, Rush was hit with Stone Edge right after. I used Agility to catch him before he hit the ground.

"Ow... that hurt." He groaned in pain as I got an idea.

"Let's get him to blast the rocks out of the way, then we can run." He nodded and got up.

"Are you still planning on fighting? Don't you realize you won't win?" Gigalith said with a smile.

"I don't give up that easy." I replied back. His response was a Meteor Beam aimed straight towards us. We just barely dodged. It blasted some rocks away from the exit, but not enough to get out. Rush and I ran up to Gigalith, Rush used Metal Claw and I used Shadow Claw. He was pushed back and got angry, he blasted a Hyper Beam before we moved. The rocks were mostly blown away at this point, so I moved to the exit and destroyed the last bit of rocks with Mega Punch. We ran for our lives when we could, but Gigalith didn't even try to follow us. That was... unexpected...

We went to school two days later, the Gigalith was brushed off as a wild Pokémon. Luckily we were beginning combat classes as of now. First, of course, were the basics, physical attacks was what we're doing this time. Luxray brought us out to a small field behind the school with wooden training dummies everywhere.

"You will be using your physical attacks to destroy these dummies. Your time and performance will be observed closely. Now, who will go first?" I raised my hand. Might as well get it over with quickly.

"Alright then Frost, start when you're ready." I stretched a bit and got to work. I used Metal Claw and Agility to destroy them fast. It didn't take long before it was over.

"Very impressive, 8.31 seconds. Your performance was good as well." I walked back to the group of students. Rush immediately raised his hand before Luxray said anything.

"Rush, you're up then." As soon as the dummies were replaced, he ran as fast as his legs could take him. He used Force Palm.

"17.46 seconds, not bad. Performance wasn't bad either, but you could still get better." Rush pouted and walked back. Luxray pointed to the Phantump named Spec. He slowly floated forward.

"You can start now." He slowly moved to each individual dummy and hit it with Shadow Claw. It felt like forever.

"2 minutes and 57.14 seconds... that was not very fast. Your performance wasn't anything too special either." Spec shrugged and moved to his original spot. What the hell is wrong with that guy? I saw Cream back away into the small crowd, she's not good fighting with her hands. Doll flew over.

"I'll go next, I can't wait any longer." She dashed forward as soon as she could and shredded the dummies with Shadow Claw. There were small pieces of wood flying in every direction.

"15.26 seconds, that's very good. Performance was excellent as well." She smiled and waltzed back. Everyone else went and Cream didn't do as good as the majority, but definitely better then Spec. We went to eat lunch when the bell was heard.

We did the same thing in the afternoon except with our special attacks. Luxray said something about real training tomorrow. Anyway, that's about it for today.
