Rush POV

I saw on the news that Frost and a Pokémon named Marshadow beat a tough Garchomp that Gallades team was trying to arrest. I asked Frost and he told me everything that happened. It sounded weird at first, but it made sense at the end. I went to school the next day and sat beside Frost.

"What are we doing today?" I leaned over and asked. He shrugged.

"Reviewing stuff I guess?" The door opened and Luxray came through.

"Alright class, we have a new student starting today. I expect you to treat him well. You may come in now." A new student? Aren't teams only four Pokémon? So one of us gets another team member? Everyone's jaws dropped at who walked through the door.

"Hello, you may already know my name. I am Marshadow." Marshadow, the same guy that took down the Garchomp.

"What are you doing here?" Frost asked. Marshadow didn't say anything and sat down.

Frost POV

"Fine then." I said and listened to Luxray. I swear I saw some of the girls staring at him. Luckily, Cream was not one of them. Marshadow was sitting in the front row all the way to the right, so he wouldn't notice if anyone was staring at him. Marshadow didn't eat anything at lunch, he just looked around and caught some girls looking at him.

"Why do they stare so intently at me?" I sighed at him.

"Cuz they think you're hot." He turned his head.

"I do not feel warm." Dear Arceus, he seems like he's got a two hundred IQ in battle, but only one IQ when dealing with normal, everyday things.

"They like the way you look." He was still confused.

"Why would that be called 'hot'?" I shrugged at that. I honestly don't know why we say hot instead of handsome. He decided to wave at them. I saw one of them faint, Shine and her team were next to them and she just looked away. I chuckled at her misfortune, she has to sit next to the lovesick girls back there. Then I remembered that Rush acts like that sometimes... damnit Rush.

"So you're Marshadow Huh?" I looked up to see Taki making her way over.

"I am indeed, what do you wish?" She smiled.

"I want a friendly sparring match after school, you cool with that?" He nodded and Taki left. I turned to him.

"She is not going to go easy at all." The bell rang before Marshadow could say anything about it. The rest of day wasn't really interesting, just a few questions from Marshadow now and then. Jolts, Judos, and my team all came out to watch Taki's fight with Marshadow. They got in position on the field behind the school.

"You ready smokey?" He only nodded. Taki started off with Quick Attack, but Marshadow was still faster and used Shadow Punch. Taki slid back a bit, the punch was obviously not at full power.

"What was that? Hit me with more power! Otherwise this won't be fun!" She used High Jump Kick, but Marshadow caught her leg and sent her skidding across the ground with Thunder Punch. She got up and groaned.

"That was harder then I thought it would be." Marshadow bowed?

"My apologies, I shouldn't have put so much power into my attack." She walked over to him and slapped him.

"You don't apologize in a fight. Alright, This is getting ridiculous. See ya!" She said walking home. Everyone left as well. That was a waste of time.

Rush POV

I broke off from Frost and Cream to get home. I was halfway there when I heard big footsteps behind me.

"Hello?" I called to whoever was there. I heard a grunt come from an alleyway.

"Is someone there?" I walked closer until... nothing happened.

"I guess it was just my ima-" I was hit with a Head-Butt! I quickly got on my feet and I saw the Pokémon who attacked me.

"I'm not sure why, but my associate wants you and your friends gone." It's the Gigalith from a few months ago! I didn't know what he was talking about, I only knew he was going to try to kill me.

"His reason doesn't matter to me. You and your friends have imprisoned potential allies." 'Potential allies'? Does he mean those bad Pokémon that were arrested? He didn't let me think and shot Power Gems at me! I dodged most of them, but got hit by the last two. I ran around him and shot some Focus Blasts. He used Earthquake and I fell on my face...

"You won't beat me alone, especially not at your current level." I just barley dodged the Flash Cannon shot at me. I used Swords Dance and Dig immediately after.

"Trying to attack from below won't help. Earthquake will flush you out fast." An Earthquake was used, just not his. I popped out of the ground and hit him with Mega Kick! I felt like I could beat Gigalith easily... until I was hit by Superpower.

"...that hurt... a lot..." I said on the ground.

"You've done better against me then I thought you would, unfortunately you still won't win." He was gonna use Stone Edge, but he was hit by something.

"Leave him alone you big... rock!" I saw Judo and Spec behind Gigalith.

"...you couldn't think of anything better..?" Spec said and Judo shook his head.

"I bet you can't think of any-" Judo couldn't finish because he was hit by a Weather Ball.

"You kids are annoying." Spec turned to Gigalith and threw him into a building with Psychic.

"Hey! I wanted to fight him!" Judo shouted after getting back up. I got back on my feet and almost fell again. Spec came over to help.

"...he's not done, you can still fight him..." Gigalith shot a Meteor Beam at Judo, But he dodged it. Spec took me away while Judo fought Gigalith.

Judo POV

Rush beat him pretty good, so I should be able to finish him no problem... I think...

"I'll take care of you quickly. I promise to make it painless." Pfft. Yeah, of course it's going to be painless. I went at him with High Jump Kick, it hit him directly. I landed on the ground and sent a barrage of Bullet Punches at him, giving him no time to attack back. Lastly, I used Bulldoze and he was almost down.

"You little..." he tried to take me out with Giga Impact, But I sidestepped and used Low Kick. Gigalith fell to the ground, knocked out cold.

"Time to call the Police!"

Gigalith was arrested and Rush went to the hospital. If I didn't find them then Rush would probably be... nah, he would've gotten out of it somehow!

"...if we left earlier, like I suggested, Rush's injuries wouldn't have been so bad..." Spec said from behind me.

"Well too late now!"
