Marshadow POV

We ran ahead of Judos team to find the last Pokémon we need to defeat before facing the one attempting to summon Giratina. Heatmor and Garchomp were blocking the way.

"I didn't expect the shitty brats to get this far, but I'm glad they did, now I can pound them into the ground." Garchomp said with a chuckle. I stepped forward.

"Frost, get past these two and face the source of this predicament." Frost looked to me.

"Alright, be careful." He said before using Agility to pass through the two.

"Wha- Hey! Get back here!" Garchomp shouted as Frost quickly disappeared down the corridor. Heatmor looked to his partner.

"The boss'll handle him, he's gonna be beaten in no time. Right now, we should focus on these guys." He said as Garchomp turned around and nodded. He used Stealth Rock, sending small sharp stones everywhere. Heatmor attempted to blast us with Inferno. Cream blocked it using Protect, Doll and Rush dodged, while I ran into it. Before I got burned, I used Shadow Sneak, appearing behind Garchomp and attacked with Ice Punch.

"Ow! You little shit!" He yelled as he tried to use Outrage, but I got away beforehand. Rush came behind him to attack, he instead received a Sucker Punch from Heatmor.

"Thank me later ya big tube of profanities." Garchomp growled at his words. Doll moved in to strike at Heatmor with Foul Play. She was able to land a direct hit and send him backwards. Rush ran in to help Doll deal with Heatmor as I dodged every slash Garchomp tried to hit me with. I saw Cream use Decorate behind Garchomp, and she shot him with Tri Attack.

"Ow! That hurt yo-" He was cut off by paralysis caused by the Tri Attack. I walked to his side and easily knocked him out using Mega Kick. We looked to see Heatmor fall to the ground with an injured Rush standing behind him. Doll flew over to us.

"He took most of the hits while I did the attacking part." She said as Rush walked over.

"I did stuff too!" I turned away from the conversation and looked down the hall Frost went down.

Frost POV

I walked down the long hallway before coming to a massive open room with torches lining the walls and... I dunno, some cult looking ritual... thing. I saw a figure standing at the top of some stairs. It turned to reveal itself to be Darkrai? He chuckled.

"Frozen in fear?" Was all he said as I shook my head.

"Just shocked that you'd be trying to summon Giratina. What's your plan? Cause it better be worth it." I said while cautious of every move he made.

"I'll spare you the whole story and shorten it to one sentence. The world is a sin, and I'll be the one to correct it." I mentally face palmed.

"What kind of half-assed backstory is that?" I said while simultaneously making a tasteful reference.

"It doesn't matter if you don't understand, you'll die anyway after all." He said before he used Thunder Wave, which I couldn't dodge in time. He slowly flew over while I wasn't able to move. He raised his hand.

"A shame you won't be witnessing the world being corrected." His hand came down. I was almost hit with Brick Break before I pushed through the paralysis, dodged and uppercutted him with Ice Punch. Darkrai caught himself and chuckled.

"I'm surprised you can hit that hard while paralyzed." He said as he stood straight.

"Is it... that hard... to believe?" I asked through the paralysis. He said nothing as he shot a charge beam at me, increasing his special attack at the same time. I barley dodged, just in time for Darkrai to send me staggering back with Throat Chop. He tried a close range Thunderbolt, but I used Agility and got behind him to use Iron Tail. It didn't make contact and I flew into the wall. I looked up at him.

"Looks like you won't beat me, how sad for you." He said as I pried myself off the wall and onto the ground. I threw Shadow Balls across the ground, causing dust to fly everywhere. Darkrai looked around, probably wondering what I'm doing. I used dig and went underground... well, more underground. When the dust cleared, there were holes all across the room.

"What are you up to?" Darkrai asked. I popped out of one of the many holes and shot him with an Ice Beam. He tried shooting back, but I dove right back down the hole. I did it until Darkrai got impatient and used Psychic to yank me out of the ground, straight through the rock. I let out a pained groan when I was thrown to the ground. I stood up quickly, which seemed to surprise him.

"I've thought you were at your limit, I suppose I was wrong." He said while he slowly began circling me.

"I am far from mine, though you should know that already." I was ready to counter anything he threw at me, but I didn't expect this. He used Double Team, making afterimages of him appear everywhere.

"Well... looks like this'll be harder then I first thought." I said to myself as I glanced around at all the afterimages. One of them came at me, so I dodged and tried to hit back. It disappeared and I was shot in the back by Hidden Power. I threw a Shadow Ball at the one who shot me, but it disappeared just like the last one. Dark Pulses came from every direction, one after another. I saw a blur moving between the afterimages, which was definitely Darkrai. He moves between them quickly and shoots from multiple angles to try to confuse me, but there was a pattern to this. I shot the one he was going to move to next with Ice Beam, which revealed Darkrai. He was stunned for a second, more then enough time for me to get close and beat him down with Triple Axel. I sent him towards the ground with the third hit and shot a Hyper Beam down at him, which was impossible to dodge in his situation. He collided with the ground, on the verge of passing out.

"I would... never have imagined I'd lose to a Weavile..." He said with his eyes closed.

"To be honest, I didn't think I could beat you alone. Well, have fun in prison I guess." I said as his consciousness faded. Just then, everyone else came running in, along with Gallade.

"He beat him! I told you he could do it!" Rush yelled in Taki's ear.

"Shut up! I don't want to go deaf!" She yelled back. Gallade walked over to me.

"I'm surprised you managed to beat Darkrai by yourself." He said while some others came in to take Darkrai away.

"I'm just as surprised as you." He laughed when I said that.

"All of you will make great rescue teams. But for now, you should get home." I nodded and walked out with the others behind.

"It's so bright out." Sylvee stated. Psych looked up.

"The snow has melted already, Spring has started."
